Good morning!

We have a brand new Photo Tutorial to share with you today. This one comes courtesy of DT member, Dana Seymour! Have any of your started to think of Christmas yet? It is never to early to start planning your Christmas card designs! Since Dana is a planner, like myself, she has already gotten a heads start and designed one. This girl is amazing!

Today we learning how to mask (in a different way) than we previously have. This result is so striking and can be used on your cards that aren't Christmas-y as well!

Hello, DeNami friends!

Did you all enjoy the Product Spotlight post yesterday? I was blown away by the wide range of guy cards the DT created. These girls always inspire me with their creations!

Here is today's card, which features the Happy Father's Day sentiment. Being as this stamp is only $4.90, I would highly suggest you pick one up today!

I know it's been a little while since our last start-to-finish card video, so I thought I would bring you a new one today. Thank you to those who have complimented, commented and emailed saying you enjoy the videos. It definitely is reassuring to hear this- it motivates me to post more too! :)

Pastel Butterflies

Hello and Happy Monday!

Did you all enjoy the Pretty Pastels Blog Hop yesterday? There was so many lovely DeNami projects, I was blown away. If you haven't had a chance to hop along yet, don't worry, you still have until 11:59pm PST to leave those comments!

Being as we are on the heels of the blog hop, I thought I would bring another pastel creation. I just love how our Petal Pink, Celery and Lavender cardstocks work so well together. In fact, if you want to try them all out, they are some of the colors included in the Pastel Cardstock Sampler.

Did you notice the sparkly fibers behind the butterflies? Those are our Multi Color Iridescent Shredds! They are great for adding a bit of sparkle behind your layers or you can use them at the bottom of a goody bag! Such a fun product that is inexpensive and versatile!

Hi there!

It feels like it's been a little while since we did our last Photo Tutorial. Since we had the DeNami & The Twinery blog hop last Friday, we decided to focus on that. We didn't want to overwhelm you with too much inspiration in one day. :)

Today we have a Photo Tutorial that is courtesy of one of the biggest DeNami fans- Tina Milbourn. She is a contributor to the DeNami Addict blog, participates in our challenges and blog hops (she usually is the first one signed up!), actively adds to her DeNami collection and is a true sweetheart.

A while back she was playing with our Clear Gusseted Bags and came up with this cute decorated wire tie and tag. She sent me a picture and I knew I had to do a Photo Tutorial on it. Hi there, DeNami friends!

Ready for a card that will brighten your morning and bring a smile? I recently was going through a crafting slump (something that is never good when you have deadlines). Usually when this happens, I go through my drawers and pull out something that I haven't used in a while. This time around, the stamps were the Sea Friends stamp set and the Sunny Days sentiment.

Do you ever find yourself creating cards that look similar? Whether it be in the layout, colors, stamp choices or theme? I catch myself doing that sometimes, so I tried doing something different in just about every way. A new layout, stamps I don't usually use and a different theme. I must say, that it wasn't so bad going outside of my "normal" card routine. I would highly suggest us all do this from time to time.

Tomorrow we have a fun Photo Tutorial that was created by a fellow DeNami friend. Any guesses as to who? This tutorial will come in handy for any upcoming gatherings you have- be sure to come by and check it out!

Graduation Congratulations

Hi there!

I have a brand new graduation card to share with you all. Since today is the last day to take advantage of the 10% off savings on the Small Congratulations, I thought I would bring you another card using this stamp. This time around, I paired it with the Diploma and Graduation Cap- some oldies but goodies for sure!

This week we have been busy prepping for the Puyallup show, which is a local one for us. Last year, Gary & Nami were out doing another show so they weren't able to make it. I hope that you enjoyed the team-up we did with The Twinery on Friday. Wasn't that a treat blog hop? There were so many creative ideas using DeNami and The Twinery together! I'll be announcing the our winner of the blog hop a little later today, be sure to come back for that!

Today I have a card based off of our current Sketch Challenge #12. After seeing the lovely cards by the DT, I had to give the sketch a try. With the sunshine here in Washington, I couldn't help but pull out some of our fun Tropical Dreams stamps.

Did you notice the glossy seashells? I used Crystal Lacquer on the shells as my last finishing touch. I haven't pulled out this product in a while and forgot how fun it is! If you're new to Crystal Lacquer, we put together a video a while back featuring the different ways you can use it.

Hello!

Can you believe that graduation season is upon us soon? I know some college students have already graduated, and the high school seniors will be graduating in just a few weeks. With that in mind, I knew I needed to create a few grad cards.

As you saw yesterday, we have the Small Congratulations as our current Product Spotlight. I knew right away that I wanted to pair it with the new Graduation set and then went from there. I stuck with fairly neutral colors with a pop of blue, however you could easily switch it out for pink, purple or green!

Recently, we have been adding Pinterest boards for upcoming holidays. After hearing/ seeing the great response, I thought I would continue on with this- I've added a Graduation Inspiration board!

Good morning!

Do we have any dog lovers out there? Today I have a sweet little card to share featuring one of the pups from the Playful Puppies stamp set. While I'm allergic to dogs in real life, I still enjoy using them on my cards. How adorable is this guy sitting on the windowsill? You could easily switch the image for a cat or even one of the chickies, whatever suits your cardmaking style. :)

N130 Stitched Border

Did you notice the faux stitching on this card? I am horrible at sewing in general, let alone trying to do it on my cards. My solution? Our Stitched Border stamp! It's quick, simple and has a similar result!

Before I wrap up this post, I want to let you in on a blog that is devoted to everything DeNami. You may have visited this blog before (as Wendy has participated in our blog hops before). We helped the girls over at the DeNami Addict blog with a blog makeover and we're excited about some fun stuff being planned over there. Butterfly Toppers

Hi there!

I hope your week has been going well thus far. I've been a busy little bee here at the DeNami office. In between planning for some upcoming things on the blog, I've been working on a few behind-the-scenes things as well. Oh, and let's not forget about prepping for the upcoming Q & A video that Nami will be going, along with the Fall/ Winter release! Here at DeNami we always have new, exciting things happening!

Since today is the last day to take advantage of the 10% off savings for the Large Butterfly, I thought I would bring you one more sample. I once again challenged myself to create something other than a card. My item today: glassine bag toppers! It was super easy since the butterfly image is so large- the hardest part was choosing which colors I wanted to use!

Our glassine bags are great for packaging all sorts of things.I've packaged buttons, ribbons, stamps and candies so far. However, I'm fairly certain I'll be adding to that list in the future! :)

Decorative Butterflies

Hello!

If you are a regular here on the DeNami blog, you know that we mostly post cards. Occasionally, we will post a project using one of our templates, boutique boxes and various other projects. For me personally, cardmaking is definitely my passion. While I enjoy projects, it's often hard for me to think "outisde the ~~box~~ card".

With the Large Butterfly being the current Product Spotlight, I wanted to challenge myself to create something other than a card. My idea: create decorative butterflies to display with some flowers in our house.

Instructions:

1) Stamp Large Butterfly twice, color in desired shades. Fussy cut.

2) Get wooden skewers, trim down to desired height.

3) Securely adhere butterflies to skewers.

4) Add glitter or rhinestones to butterflies.

Step- by Step Tutorial by Emily

Good morning, DeNami friends!

Wow, I just realized that today is our 15th Photo Tutorial! I don't know about you, but each and every one of these tutorials have inspired me. On top of that, I've learned LOTS of new techniques! I hope that you all have enjoyed the tutorials thus far.

Today the super duper sweet Emily Keaton has put together this Photo Tutorial. On the agenda: learning to use colored pencils on our cards! I know that this technique is becoming more and more popular, so I thought it would be good for us to learn how to master it. :)

Don't we have a wonderful design team? I am so very blessed and inspired by each one of the girls. Their creativity is endless and their projects continue to blow us away. A ginormous thank you to each of the girls who have put together a photo tutorial (or 2-3)- all of us have learned so much!

Hi there!
