D. 5 Types Of Students During Examinations

So... Yesterday was the first official papers and during examination, I couldn't help but notice the type of students in class. Especially the fidgety and noisy ones.

So let's look at the list below!

1. The calm one

Preparation level: Either extremely prepared or don't give a hoot anymore

So I was waiting outside the exam hall and still mugging away like mad and I see some of my schoolmates just standing there chit-chatting or empty handed. So I proceeded to ask some questions related to the module. In this case was 'Digital Video'. But they seemed to not know the answer and just shrug it off. Seriously, why aren’t they panicking??

2. The over friendly one.

Preparation level: Where am I?

Ok. So basically this exam module is an online test and no pen was needed. So the guy sitting beside me keep yakking none stop before the exams started and I was like. :) OMG. Give me some peace please. I mean no doubt he is being friendly, but.. I don't know you and I feel awkward around strangers.

3. The superhuman

Preparation level: Superhuman brain and fingers

They can’t have genuinely finished 80 questions after 20 minutes right? It's like we are looking down bending our poor sore backs to look at the freaking computer screen with tons of weird questions that I might have missed out during my revision. So how the freak do you even manage to finish those MCQs and SAQs that fast?!

4. The one who genuinely didn’t do any revision, and fails the exam.

Preparation level: Briefly glanced at notes. Dying inside.

“Honestly, I haven’t done any revision… No seriously.” This person calmly jokes about how they haven’t done any revision, until you look over to see them in a panicked sweat, wide-eyed at their exam paper. Yeap..

5. The irritatingly noisy one

Preparation level: Don’t care. Just stop it.

When you’re mid-nervous exam breakdown, you will find yourself fantasizing about killing the person who keeps clicking and crunching their water bottle, kicking their table or making screechy metal sounds with the keyboard holder. Please, exist elsewhere. (Oh yes, the guy behind me. Entire 1 hour & that screech sound is so goddamn DISTRACTING AND PIERCING TO MY FREAKING EAR!)

6. The one who studied last minute and failed

Preparation level: Somewhat prepared a day or two before exams

Oh yes. That will be me. I did revised for the papers but well. Just not fully prepared as the past week I was busy with the web codings (another assignment). It's time consuming, with lack of ample rest and shit. My brain isn't really functioning at its best currently. So exams result was out after a few minutes (since it's online). And failed by 9 marks. Considering that I studied so last minute, I felt that I did fairly ok. *Cough*

Everyone always seems to say that I am once a strong person. Always fight for herself and so on so forth. But was that the real me? Do you even know what is the real me?

I put on a cheerful smile to conceal my sadness. I put on a cheerful smile to not get bullied. I put on a cheerful smile to act as if everything is ok. But no.. I am not ok. I am never ok. The thought of suicide just keeps coming back stronger and stronger everytime I tear or feel sad or feel lost.

While I was running earlier on to clear my head, but it isn't working well. I just wanted to run into those metal cable and just get my head cut off. But I thought about my loved ones, my siblings, my bf, my best friends and do my best to stop all those thoughts.

I'm not a strong person, I never am. Just cause you seem to know me, might not be the real me. I'm tired of putting up all this cheerful front. I need a breather. Perhaps whatever I do was never correct, the problem will always be me.

I'm such a loser.

As you can see in the before and after photo(both taken with flash on to be able to see any flaws), I have small horrid bumps on my face and my face is oily after I end work in the evening despite being in air-conditioned area. My make up just runs like mad.

The Good	The gel-like, rubbery mask grips onto the skin SO WELL!!! Unlike those normal facial mask that tears easily. Trust me, I tug and pulled the mask to adjust it and it doesn't tear at all. As my skin belongs to the sensitive type, as well as oily and some dry parts, namely my small pimples. After using the mask, my makeup stay on for more than 12 hours with no touch-ups. I was at work the entire day and I even cried and bawl my eyes out, but my makeup did not crack or flake at all! The mask serum is very concentrated and unlike other mask that drips everywhere once taken out, Ludeya mask is gel-like, instant absorption into the skin after application. There are excess serum inside the packaging left, I took it out and apply at my neck area. Feels super smooth after application. :D
The Bad	Might be a little pricey for the lower income group, but still reasonable for this good quality mask. If you have super petite face, the mask might take some adjustment to fit well.

Hair journey Dec 2012 till date.

Have you ever wondered how this pin up girl can have nice short hair, and then long the next.

Wanting to keep your long hair yet wanting to snip it short?

Well.. This dilemma have been stuck with me for years and I finally pluck up the courage to snip off my long locks.

Last I checked. My hair was near my butt.. Or so I thought.

I dye my hair pretty often. Usually DIY. Cause i'm a sucker at playing with my own hair.

As most of my friends know, I pretty much change my hair colour like every 2-3months, sometimes even weeks or perhaps 1 month? They call me a chameleon. Nice name.

So previously I was doing a TVC for Lenovo (i'm acting as some random floor dancing girl in the club yo) and they say harujuku style, of course cool hair colours would be awesome. So I did my hair. DIY at home of course. Including self-bleaching.

Then it slowly fades away and my cool nickname was changed to 'Algae'.

Pretty much not anyone camwhores in this hair colour over a blue huge ass bolster. But well I did.

So after blue? Well since it was in the shade of algae, let's do emerald green over it.

With bangs. ROFL. Damn I look super outstanding with that hair colour. Keep getting stares while outside with my gfs. Or whatever. And apparently after I started doing my blue hair etc (full head).. The trend during that period was ombre. I kinda started the trend to go full head cool colour hairdye. Tell me how awesome am I to start a trend! HAHA.. So slowly friends started coming to me to help dye their heads (i mean hair) too.

So during February, I got my hair to purple, just before CNY started, touched up before prom and I rocked my hair pretty much.

I'm like the envy on Facebook with my hair colour changing constantly (cause I can till..)

I have to rid my purple hair for work.

I know, i'm a gangster. I made my hair ash brown during work then went ASH

Which was cool. Cause I was doing receptionist back then temporary. So the bosses didn't mind the cool colours. But I had my hair back to a blue black hair colour after So from black it slowly faded to blue then green.

In which I got rid of the green after and made it into highlights over my new found love, black hair.

Went to Australia after ( was forced to go black by my bf cause he didn't want to attract too much attention during the trip)

By then. I pretty much damaged my hair? HAHA..

As days goes by, my hair gets longer and well heavier. Migraine even started to kick in on a daily basis, that was when I officially decided to snip my hair off. Real short.

I went to the event, well under dressed cause I did not bring my heels along to my bf's house. Felt awkward upon arrival as my dressing is really not presentable. You will see why later.

Anyway, we were suppose to create a look on ourselves/our friend's face (lucky me, I went there with a naked face), so Shiella tried to create a look on me with the following colours:

No after photos thou cause light colour makeup always look weird on me.

But what I noticed about this makeup is that it's really pigmented and stays on really well.

Unlike the normal eyeshadow (powder form), try forgetfully rubbing your eyes, off goes your eye makeup.

BUT.. Ellis Faas range of eyeshadow is cream base, so lucky lucky, just keep rubbing your eyes and it doesn't smudge!

*Side note: You have to apply this real fast thou as it drys really fast. So get those fingers/brushes working in split seconds (I joke about the seconds).

The Story of ELLIS FAAS

Ellis: “As a late teenager, I visited the Tate Gallery in London and was blown away by a Francis Bacon triptych. It made a great impression on me because of the use of colour – it was unnerving and stunningly beautiful at the same time. Bacon inspired many experiments I did over the years. I now think it has become something of my own and hasn’t much to do with Bacon any more.”

Vogue Paris cited Ellis Faas as “one of the most influential make-up artists of her time”. And indeed, she has worked with the world’s most pre-eminent fashion designers, photographers, stylists, hairdressers and models. Ellis’ work has been published on the covers of the world’s best-known fashion magazines. Additionally, Ellis has worked for make-up brands, such as Clinique, Lancôme and MAC Cosmetics – and she was asked by L’Oréal to create a make-up line for their skin care brand, Biotherm. After the contract with L’Oréal ended in 2007, the way was paved for her to create her own brand: ELLIS FAAS.

A PASSION IS BORN Ellis was born and raised in the Netherlands. From an early age on, Ellis had a good eye for fashion, coupled with a strong opinion about what was or wasn’t beautiful. She plastered her bedroom walls with images from Vogue and would often make her own clothes (sometimes with great success; other times failing miserably). She also developed a passion for photography, especially in the documentary, portrait and over-stylised fashion and beauty genres.

FROM PHOTOGRAPHY TO MAKE-UP Inspired greatly by the work of photographers such as Yousuf Karsh and Serge Lutens, Ellis decided to pursue a career in professional photography when she left school. Increasingly, Ellis started to dislike the technical side of photography, while her love for the more intuitive aspect of make-up kept growing… Of course, make-up was nothing new for Ellis. Ever since she was a toddler, she loved smearing colours on anyone who was willing to be a victim – her younger brother, her friends from school and, of course, herself. In the end, Ellis made what was to become a pivotal decision: she said goodbye to professional photography in order to focus fully on her passion for make-up.

ON THE ROAD TO SUCCESS Following a short course in Amsterdam, she headed to Paris where she trained in make-up and special effects at Christian Chauveau’s Technical School of Artistic Make-up. Then, when her studies ended, Ellis returned to the Netherlands where she worked as a make-up artist for various fashion magazines, as well as on two movies. Searching for more creative challenges, however, she decided to move to London where she soon became very successful. There she used her talents for special effects by imitating skin diseases for medical inserts, while her sense of aestheticism drew her to work on pop videos for the stars of the time.

Following the birth of her daughter Flavia, Ellis decided to move back to Amsterdam where she started her own portrait studio, Face Value. Here, she not only took clients’ photographs but also did their make-up. It was the country’s first ever “makeover studio” – and became extremely successful. Simultaneously, Ellis remained active in the fashion world, working extensively with the famous Dutch fashion photographer Inez van Lamsweerde.

ENTER MARIO TESTINO In 1999, Ellis’ relatively “quiet” life in the Netherlands came to an end. Photographer Mario Testino had come to Amsterdam to shoot a series for L’Uomo Vogue. He searched for a local make-up artist who would be able to match his concept, looked at the books of every artist in the country – and picked Ellis. Both of them discovered they enjoyed this new collaboration, and soon Ellis was travelling with Testino to Paris, London, New York and Los Angeles. Things snowballed when Ellis met French fashion editor Emmanuelle Alt, who introduced her to Karl Lagerfeld. All of a sudden, Ellis was managing an army of make-up artists and instructing them how to apply the make-up she had designed for Lagerfeld’s shows for Fendi and Chanel. The rest, as they say, is history…

I bought this CC cream "Dr Brandt" as recommended by Sccube staff which is meant to matte my face as I do get oily pretty much. Works wonder!

It really do stop my face from getting oily, almost one full day I would say (Nasty T-Zones saved). So I would recommend this product if you want to stay oil free. But other than that, there really isn't much coverage at all. So I basically use it as a makeup base. Have to shake it really well thou to get it smooth on my face.

Using light to medium, still a tad dark for my skin tone cause my face and body are of different shades. I have this pale face. So it looks dark when applied, but looks fine one it sets in a min or so.

Oh. Do not hesitate to approach the staffs for assistance, they are really helpful and patient.

First thing first was my birthday outing with my DED clique which they brought me to this mysterious place to eat. I only knew the place after we reached thou, as.. I totally had 0 clue of where they are bringing me.
Nope, I wasn't blind-folded. Maybe they should did so with an eye mask. Haha.. Jk.

OH! I had mega mega fun at Gold coast although the sotong refuses to take many exciting rides with me or let me take some of em cause he was afraid that I might die in front of him. Speechless.

But well, I forced him to take one scary ride with me so yeah!

Well, he forced me to go glow worm cave with him which was interesting.
But damn! It took my eyes SUPER LONG to adjust to the darkness.

December Bellabox: The month that finally made me smile a little.

Earlier today, I was feeling really upset and cried.
Don't ask me why, I just had a sudden emotional turmoil.
Might be due to the lack of sleep or something plus got kinda angsty due to some 'arguments'.

Received 2 missed calls in the noon and I was wondering who was it as I was still sleeping and only heading to bed at like 6am in the morning?
So I dialed the number back to realize that it was the courier for Bellabox.
I know the previous courier that they used was sucky and Bellabox did take noticed of it and changed their courier.
Normally if no one opened the door to receive my box (the previous courier), it would be placed back to the main post office which kinda sucks as I have to reschedule for their arrival etc.
But this new courier, awesome I would say!
As my doorbell was faulty and it kinda didn't chimed. The courier told me he placed my box inside my gate (there's a gap between my gate and door). So I woke up and walked over to my door to open it and there, my parcel being placed nicely between the gaps as if I had received a advance x'mas present (given by myself nonetheless). But still it was nice.

I did not blog about the previous 2 months of Bellabox as it didn't really made me 'like' the products gave. I remembered I first join in like August? That box in August was awesome. So was September. But October and November did not really appeal to me thus, I did not gave any reviews (Sorry for being anal).

So here! December Bellabox and I would say I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT~

So the box came in pink as usual, but with a silver snowflake sticker stuck onto the box this time.

You all must be wondering why am I so happy with this month's box?

To be honest, I love makeup products more than skin care products as my skin is accustomed to certain products and stuff that I can't use or don't even know whether I can use or not. And for the October and November box, mostly I received facial products (which till now I have not touched it yet cause i'm afraid it will cause an outbreak on my skin, which my skin is bad enough already).

So first thing that caught my eye. Eyeshadow brush!!

I have a mac palette of 180 colours and I don't like using just one eyeshadow brush for all that different colours (currently have 2 eyeshadow brush), so when I saw the brush I was like YES~ Fluffy brushes.

2. More natural looking compared to powder blush (which I have been using and it tends to look cakey on my face at times.)

So I went to check how this mask works/use it. It is stated in the website thou, which I have linked it on the top.

How to use:

Cellilux works by connecting to the dirt, toxins and oils trapped in your skin’s pores so that when you wash away the clay, you wash away those other impurities too. It’s best to wash your face with a gentle soap and warm water. That will take away any top layer of makeup and impurities. The warm water causes the pores to open, so that the Cellilux can bond to the toxins embedded deeply in your skin.

Pat your face dry. Then take a small amount of the clay in your hand and apply it with soft circular motion to get into the various pores and fine wrinkles of your face. The rule of thumb is; it should be thick enough that every pore gets some gel into it, but thin enough so that the whole mask can dry and therefore lift away that dirt and oil. Put on just enough so that you can’t see the skin any more – but not so you can see a “thickness” to the mask.

But surprisingly this eyebrow pencil came out not too harsh (like that cheapo eyebrow pencil I bought in JB which made me looked like SHINCHAN!)
And I have like brownish hair currently thus I need my brows to match my hair colour (apparently dying my brows to the same colour as my hair looks UGLY)
So thank god for whoever invented coloured eyebrow pencil/mascara!

I'm actually glad that even thou I do not have many sincere and close friends around me.
True friends that I can count with my 10 fingers alone just makes me happy.

Life is full of obstacles, no one said that it will be smooth.
It is the same as when you were being born, you have to struggle to survive to get to the ovary and thus being born.
Even when you are being given birth to, you have to struggle to come out from your mum's womb.

This theory applies to life too.

Be glad with those friend or relatives around you.
I do not have anyone to dote on me since young.
My Mum side mostly dote on my second sis.
My father side mostly dote on my elder sis.
Throughout my growing up no adults ever dote on me.
But i'm glad I have my second sis who dote on me.
My bf who dote on me & lastly my bffs. :))

No matter how many times I break down in tears, lost, despair being alone.
A few of you would put down everything to come find me.
Those who I consider bffs but doesn't do so, sometimes I just feel like letting you all go.

I am someone who believes in kindness, in giving my best to people, in making others happy.

Charlene and Delson's Big Day! Dennis Bday

Congrats to Charlene and Delson!
May you both have a blissful marriage and some kawaii kids soon!

The day before I did not sleep at all cause I just couldn't sleep.
So I stayed up till wee hours before I went to prepare and get ready to head over to Char's place.
Daddy fetched me over as he doesn't want me to go over by cab alone (thinking that I will get kidnap or something)

Reached Char's place at 420am. Was suppose to meet at 430am so I was early.
I reached 2nd, Alex was there 1st! Haha..
But I went over there totally made up and even went over in my bridesmaid dress.

So I was suppose to prepare the spicy, sweet and SOUR!
So Alex and I were preparing the stuff together.
While she squeezed the lemons, I am grinding the chilli which OMG.
Smells so strong, feeling pitiful for the brothers and groom BUT fun uh. HAHA!

So when the time was nearing for the gate-crashing and all the bridesmaid have arrived.
Setting up was done to block the entrance!
(Pictures of the day events is not up yet soooo will update when the pictures are up!)

Well the guys had many obstacles to pass before we are willing to give them the key.
Writing Ai with their armpits.
Stuff like pepper mixed with powder and small letters being placed inside (a thick tub) for them to dig it out and form I <3 Charlene.
Well, despite tons of blowing etc etc the guys are still far from completing so naturally the girls turn to extort!
ANG BAO ANG BAO! But the first ang bao was disappointing anyway.
Going through the sour, sweet, bitter and spicy (killer mixture of chilli padi + wasibi smeared in bread) course.
It was funny seeing how the guys were tearing due to the spiciness. Total laughter.
And they also did CHUBBY BUNNY! But marshmallows soaked in LEMON JUICE! =x
Apparently they never manage to hit our target too.
HAHA!

They even had to find the correct housekey stuffed inside a sponge cake and layers of whip cream was squeezed on top of it.
Well, so there were pepper on the whip cream due to all the blowing etc so POOR THING.
And one of the brother had their eyes stinged. OOPS!
But actually the real key isn't in the sponge cake cause it was WITH ME!
Sorry for being evil guys!

So when all is done at Char's side, we headed to Marina Barrage, did photoshoot and damn the sun is scorching!
And all bridesmaid are dressed in purple so bascially I went with the theme for my eyeshadow

When everything was done, went to Delson's house for the tea ceremony then back to Char's side for the ceremony too.

All bridesmaid depart Char's house and home for a few hours of nap!
I only had 2 hours of nap and up to shower and prepare for the dinner.

So I curled my hair (no heat) and did normal smokey eyes.
And Denise Sng came to fetch me. Her bf drives.
And Alex was in the car too.
Alex and I keep sharing the same car, including the brothers car. HAHA!

Catched up etc during the banquet with the group and the guys as usual, drink like siao.

Had the toasting session on stage with the couple and OOO! Moscato! Super yummy!

Also the throwing of flower petals while the brothers popped the popper string during the first march in was FUN!

But all of us were freezing during the wait outside. HAHA!

After the event, KKK send me to Dennis birthday area at Pasir Ris.

TOTALLY ULU! cause it's private chalet.

Was shy to go in myself so got Kaili (owner) to come out and bring me in.

Cause I was wearing EVENING DRESS! Like super formal with a super shag face.

Took a photo with the bday boy. I was bending down, cause i'm so tired!

Eventually the boys got me a shirt (Eugene's) and shorts (Dennis's) to change into.

HAHA! Way too big on me.

And so the fun time begins!

We played this Captain game and bang bang, chica chica or something like that.

Basically is reaction games (with alcohol involved)

Ric and I refuse to let them take a proper photo.

I seldom drink so basically Ben & Ric was the one drinking the most.
Till Ben and I end up in a 1 on 1 battle of 5, 10.

So owner joined in later too so 5, 10 all the way.

OH! And zhi yong and I we were dancing to OPPA GANGNAM! HAHAHAHA!

The night ended off with KKK coming down to send me home.

BB Blogger event 14 September

Received an email from Mandy (in case any of you who doesn't know, she is the PR Manager of BellaBox) to attend their blogger event which I felt was very sweet and excited at the same time that I did not even hesitate and just agreed to it despite my schedule being real packed on that particular day.

The event is being held at Wangz Hotel, Halo Rooftop Lounge located at 231 Outram Road. It is fairly near Outram MRT, but had to cab over as I was late (dead tired in fact due to that hectic week and lack of sleep, like 3hours a day only?) and made a turn to pick up my +1 for the day, Diana to the event location.

The boutique hotel is indeed smaller as compared to other boutique hotels seen in Singapore, but I would say the interior design of it is done up nicely. We took the lift up to the rooftop and came to a sign that states 'Bellabox Blogger Event' in PINK (BB sure does live up to the colour pink!). TGIF! =D

When we first enter we were registered and given this lip smacking pen which indicates where our first stop will be.

I took part in CATS Carnival X'mas edition contest with Shiella in 2011. She is really pretty and very good in makeup! Salute!

And she treats me like a kid. Cause i'm younger than her. Haha..

I'm always having dry skin around my chin area and cheek area due to the pimple cream that I am using that targets well at my pimples, but at the same time leaving my skin harsh and dry.

I'm not really a moisturizer person, I prefer using facial mask as it is not stick as compared to other cream base moisturizer you see selling at departmental stores or any drug stores.

But I tested CAUDALIE Moisturizer sorbet and it does not feels sticky at all, plus as compared to other moisturizer that I have tried, this absorbs into your skin real fast!

Might be due to it's natural ingredients, thus the fast absorption (in my opinion)

Applied a small amount on my hand.

TADA~ Gone. Not only that. My skin whiten! Totally no edits on the photo, I SWEAR!

SO girls who love love love whitening products can try their range. Plus it is also ok for you all to start using anti-aging products from young (as told by the beauticians at the event). Prevention at a young age against saggy skin etc is better.

And all my friends who knows me understands how cray cray (crazy) I go over facial mist!

So I tested it on my own face. HAHAHAHAHA!

I won't say that the smell is exactly fabulous, but it sure is REFRESHING!

Plus it have grape extract in it and grapes do have high anti-oxidant that tackles aging!

So why not? *I spray spray spray* CAUDALIE, please make me young forever!

A test was also done among different anonymous facial mist and theirs.

Apparently theirs turned green in colour indicating better absorption or something which I forgotten.

Diana who doesn't even use facial mist is intrigue by it! HAHA

So Diana was reluctant to slab on some eyeshadow on her as she seldom does so and she looks weird with eye makeup sometimes.

So I went ahead and do my own makeup by Elizabeth Arden makeup artist!

I requested for dark or more earth tone like brown, purple etc and she said ok!

So time to pin that fringe up and get prep for it!

The end result. =D Nowadays colour like champagne etc are popular as Autumn is nearing!
Well for Singapore, not the case. =.= sad life.

While I was doing my make up, Diana went loitering around herself thus, I went to do my hair.
AVEDA was there to let people know more about their hair product and providing this chakra thingy atmosphere (if you do watch Naruto, you will know what it is) via their hair products that is able to help calm one down etc etc.

I told the hair stylist that my hair is lacking of volume and that whenever I curl my hair, with a tong!
Within 2-3 hours the curls will be gone. I even hair spray it etc etc ok!
So he started recommending me those products that will give me volume and hold.

First, he applied the heat protector on my hair to prevent damage from the tong while curling my hair.

Next followed by this! Curl enhancer!

Apparently this is to make the curls more define and last longer (but my hair is still too stubborn and dropped back to straight hair in 2hrs time).

While he is styling my hair, I camwhore of course!

Took a picture of another person going through the aroma chakra therapy. LOL!

After my hair was done curling, he applied this small little bottle (you know those taiwan POOF powder volume hair thingy? This small stuff works the same)

This is in liquid form and just have to massage it into the hair and then just puff my hair up for volume.

Pretty? =D

Finished off with HAIR SPRAY!

Next stop was PETRONILLE!

This product is started off by this really really sweet lady who used to work in the laboratory about face products etc and she found out that active ingredients and natural ingredients is best separated for maximize of effect of the product and instead of being placed together which might not be able to store for long.

So I did a hands on to make my own exfoliate!

It was so FUN!

My ingredients that I choose was Himalayan Salt (cause it is good for MY SKIN), Olive Oil ( as everyone knows that is good to moisture one skin!), coconut and tea tree oil (calming effect for skin, reduces stress and outbreaks).

My bottle spilled on the way home thou as I had tons of stuff to carry and tilted the bag, the olive oil spilled out. ='(

Next I moved on to my last station, BIODERMA!!!

They are there to promote their makeup remove and I swear that IT WORKS LIKE MAGIC!

Even Biore makeup remover wipes lose to it.

PLUS! It is non-sticky and suitable for SENSITIVE SKIN PEOPLE!

How good is this product? Cho LOVE pls.

My hand is heavily coated with liquid foundation, waterproof mascara, RED LIPSTICK (the hardest to remove of all makeup products if you do not know!)

SO the lady soak 2 cotton pad and placed it on my hand..

NOW! Let's WIPE! Waited less than a minute or about a minute. TOTALLY CLEAN!

This model was heavily made up by Larry and used the makeup remover to remove all of it. Like super fast!

Plus as we all know that the makeup remover that we use is usually seperated for face and eye & lips remover. But fret not, this is an all in one bottle, meaning able to remove for the entire face! How convenient right?

MISAKI COSMETIC LENS

Many people, be it girls or guys desire those anime effect eyes.

Big, round and sparkly.

Who doesn't hope so? So currently Korea is famous for their big lens diameter like EOS, Barbie Lens, Luxury Lens.

But problem is, are this lens safe to purchase online? Would it irritate our eyes as it wasn't HSA approved and there are news about people being blind after wearing them.

Recently I have made a purchase online for those non-HSA registered lens OTOO Star lens from an online blogshop on Facebook, BUT sadly. Their supplier scammed them so I was disappointed. But lucky me, I did not spend much on it and report cases have been made by the seller and many other purchasers.

So I was really upset and wanted those dolly eyes that I always see in anime (fangirl).

Guess what? I was walking pass FEP one day and saw this brand: MISAKI COSMETIC LENS.

As I was rushing and didn't have the time to stop and look, I came home and did tons of research on it.

With reviews by their consumers and bloggers like Peggy Heng, Yutaki etc wearing their lens too.

Not only that, MISAKI lens is from KOREA & HSA APPROVED!!

How awesome is that?! :D

So I told my friend about it and asked her to accompany me to purchase the lens and I even manage to get her to purchase a box! Haha.. And all along, she is a clear contact lens user, never once did she wear cosmetic lens. I influenced her.

So the store assistant, a guy was telling us about the lens and we asked questions regarding the safety and etc.

Guess what? If you buy 2 boxes it is $60. And for a pair of their lens could last you for 2 months!

So basically it cost me $15/mth which is super cheap!

I have also seen reviews of some consumers wearing it up to 6months!

But due to the fact that Singapore is very strict, thus Singapore Misaki Lens is only able to wear for 2 months MAX. So people, don't go and wear longer than that as I am told so by the optical shop.

My eyes was facing an eye infection from my previous Maxi eye, thus the redness.

This is RIMMEL 'The MAX Volume Flash' mascara.
Bascially I see many complains on BB FB page about the Mfg date stating 2010.
But the thing is, it isn't an issue at all as it isn't open yet.
Such items like makeups if unopened have a shelf-life of 3-5 years max.
So chill people. I mean if you are a makeup junkie you will know that right?
So stop blaming them, BB are trying their best to meet our demands already.

Anyway, back to topic. RIMMEL brand is well known in WATSONS. They have their counter of their own. Am always fascinated with their product packaging (If you shop in WATSONS frequently you will get what I mean )
But because I'm basically a junkie for mascara fan of MAYBELLINE so I do not patronize any other brands. I swear i'm super loyal to Maybelline and loreal brands in terms of eye makeup.
Eyeshadow, eyeliner (liquid, gel), Mascara are all their brand. *Fans self* So faithful right?

They should totally sponsor me their products.
I even bought their new Lashionista during the product launch event at $16. While RRP now is $21.90 at SASA and $19.90 (Promotional price) at Watsons.
Basically Lashionista is good for people who do not favour dramatic eyelashes and it is super easy to remove. Just rinse it under warm water and VOILA~ Gone. So go grab it before the promotional price ceases!

So here is my VICHY Bi-White Med Deep Corrective Whitening Lotion.
Basically VICHY is a really good brand, and I dig their thermal water spray, I have AVENE's too.
Told ya i'm a junkie for facial products and makeup. Haha..

Anyway product details of this item:

So basically I do not need this product yet as I do not have pigmentation or any dark spots (just acne scars as I'm only 21 and not even aging yet). Plus, I have super pale skin which is fair enough to scar anyone in the middle of the night as my face spells WHITE. Haha.. But I might just use it as a moisturizer (although I have tons of serums and facial masks).

Next is:

WONDERSTRUCK~ Totally digging the purple colour ( craze fan of purple here! previously even received purple anna sui eyeshadow! Lucky me ), but it is in a sample bottle, small.
Would prefer if in future, perfumes are given in spray bottles instead of the caps bottle which is a hassle. I have opened the cap to take a sniff off the bottle. The smell is mild sweet, yet ooze out a strong fragrance that might linger for about 3-4hours? Usually the norm timing.
Would be suitable for wearing to work, out on a date, attract whoever you wanna attract and leave a lasting impression on people. Strike them when it's hot ya' know? Haha..

OH HI LOREAL! HAHAHAHAHA!

White Perfect Laser Anti-Spot Brightening Essence contains Ellagic Acid which is a plant extract that is a powerful anti-oxidant. It helps to regulate the production of melanin and prevent existing melanin from darkening. The advanced “Mild-Peeling Active”- Demoliss helps to exfoliate dead cells loaded with melanin, thus, refining the skin texture.

Basically this product is best paired with their all-round protection whitening cream that contains SPF19/PA+++ (for all the fair skin lovers)

Apply this day and night on your whole face before moisturizer (Vichy?), perhaps a 20cents size is enough for the whole face.

I don't dig white as my face is fair enough, but it says to have the IPL effect, so I don't mind.

Might make my face super smooth and clear! =D

Lastly is this 1 ampoules given. I have gotten the lifting ampoules (which is targetting more at saggy skin which I don't have at this age) But hopefully could slim my face down? =D

This ampoule is basically the most expensive among the other items list stated at $95 for 5 ampoules. Basically ampouls are like those vitamin c serums etc which people put on their face, but ampoules are more rich in ingredients and easier to penetrate your skin as compared to the thick texture of serums.

Apparently the card states that this could provide a flawless base before makeup application and helps the makeup to stay throughout the day, so perhaps my face will be less oily? haha!

Overall I am satisfied with the courier and items received (although a tad sad cause of the sizing of the items given ). Courier guy was polite on the phone and super patient too. Kudos for making this September box delivery a good start to my month and mood and not forgetting, inviting me to BB blogger event this coming Friday, 14 Sept 2012.

Totally looking forward to meeting BB Pr Manager, Mandy.
Friday will be a mad rush period for me as I have to head to work after the event located at Changi Village cafe. Haha..

I know I have not been blogging much or updating *if there are any readers in my blog*

Anyway, I got an injustice to rant about and I sincerely from the bottom of my fucking EVIL HEART wish that the business will close down by the end of this year!!!

Here goes:
As most people know last month July I worked for this Meido-cafe (Those otaku boys fantasy cafe) around city hall area.
Pronunciation of the Meido cafe is very similar to kawaii (Will not state the official name in case my friend get sued by the BASTARD!)

So I worked there for one day only during July as I was unhappy with the pay stated by my interviewer and the boss. The interviewer labelled as 'G' ok? Stated that my pay would be $6.50/hr (my expecting pay was $7 btw). So I agreed and so did he, both came to an agreement of my working hours and other miscellaneous stuff including training.

So on my first day of work, the lady boss labelled 'M' (a bitch btw HIAKS), placed me to work the closing shift alone. Not only that, I wasn't even given any training at all and she expect me to prepare the food which on that day my jobscope was just to take orders which I had self memorized before work commence (I went to work 30minutes earlier). But asking me to prepare the food I was like WTH, it's my first day?! And for a rate of a pathetic $6.50 you expect your meidos to greet, take orders, cook, clean up, barista, cashier. YOUMADYO?! So when I told her I don't know how to prepare the meal that she mentioned she just TSK and roll her eyes at me then point it out to me. Hello? I just step into the cooking area you know? So nevermind, prepared the food for her daughter (when the cb cereal is just in front of her and she is just to lazy to prepare her own daughter's meal, FAIL)

So when it was evening time, the 'older' staff knocked off work, leaving me alone with the big boss labelled 'E' (the main BASTARD). He expects the experienced staff to teach me how to cook all the dishes etc cause he himself (as the boss) doesn't know how to. JOKE! Btw, he is from a really rich family and have a very stuck-up attitude around him and he looks like a girl, including his actions. (I'm not bias against gay people, I love them in fact, provided they are not those nasty ones, nasty ones should just DIE.) And to make your experienced staff to stay back to teach me with no additional pay, seriously? You never heard of treating your staff good = they will help you to generate more sales?? So nevermind, just on my first day itself I learned of the menu and cashiering and a little cooking of their menu items (IN WHICH THEY SAY IS RAMEN BUT IS ACTUALLY MAGGIE MEE LA).

So when the cafe was empty at around 8+, I went around doing the usual cleaning etc and stuff and prepare for closing. In which their coffee machine is different from the type used in school so I naturally am unsure of how to fucking remove it and 'E' asked me whether I know how to or not? And I said no, he said die la. But luckily he knows how to do so if not seriously, he can go bang wall. And after that he had a really long chat with me with small threats placed in his conversation with me which he thinks that I would not notice. You kidding me? It's so fucking obvious. Not only that, tries to act close with me. You know like customer service, know how to empathize with em so they will trust you etc.

So I told his partner 'M' that I will try out this week and see how it goes before deciding whether or not I want to continue the job, plus with the pay given and the amount of jobscope that I have to perform do not tally at all. So he was like saying:

E: Hey, I heard from M that you are just trying out right? You don't lie to me ok. In here, no one have secrets and I don't like secrets

Me: *Thinking to myself why would I even lie to you? LAMEEE* Yupp. Just wanted to try out and see how it goes.

E: Is it because of the pay?

Me: Yes. I find that the pay do not work well with me. *proceeds to tell him my long family financial situation*

E: I understand how you feel. But for me, I just started learning to manage my own money cause my parents always give me what I want. But now, I am working I spend my own hard-earn money I also have to consider.

Me: Ya, i always go and source for cheap items including food etc before purchasing blah blah. *Just my rubbish talk* But I will try out this week first and consider.

E: But you know you are very lucky that we hire you, huh? There's this uni student that even applied for this job but we rejected her, you know we have about 100 applicants that send in their resume but we hire you? That uni student also siao one uh, uni want to work here. You see how popular my cafe is?
Ok. To be honest, we hire you mainly also because you are pretty, you can attract the market that we want to (On my 1st day of work got 2-3 customers requesting to take photo with me already, trying so hard to keep me at work. NO CHANCE. Anyway also not much customer that day. #FAIL). But since you got this job already shouldn't you treasure it? I am giving you this opportunity to earn money you know? And if anyone bully you or don't want to teach you just tell me ok? I help you to lecture them, and if got gossips around here tell me (THE GOSSIP KING IS U LO! PLUS MAMA ME DON'T GOSSIP cause I hate politics!). But usually we will have a thrash out session so you don't have to worry. All the girls here very bitchy one and I always call them sluts (MY BRAIN WENT: WTF SLUT IS NOT A WORD TO LABEL ANY WOMAN U BASTARD), they just laugh it off. hur hur (The tone used when he said slut, he meant it as slut slut, how can that be joking you tell me?!). You see, you work here we won't ill-treat you. But if the girls and you ever get close and want to plan an outing, I won't allow all, if all go who will look after my shop for me huh? I very busy you know? *And more proud talks which is annoying me*

Me: Erm.. Ok. I will consider again. *Forgotten what I said anyway, had an hr conversation with the bastard*

So I was scheduled to work 2 days later and the lady boss 'M' arranged a total screw up schedule which is not what I have discussed of with 'G'. Then I came to realize if you don't take notice of your staff schedules and just place them to work without planning, total disrespect for the staff. No point in me working for you and your plastic smiles. So I sms-ed and told them Thursday will be my last day of work and thank them for the job opportunity. Guess what? They kicked me out of the group chat immediately and never inform me anything about the 2nd day work and not to say my pathetic 1 day pay which I slogged and dirtied my hands on for. I clean, wash the dishes, sweep and mop the floor, wipe the tables and chairs etc, throw the rubbish etc all alone. 'E' only helped to do the cashier closing and passed me the used utensils. So there, I am not paid for my 1 day job.

So now I shall spill that outlet dirty deeds.
Firstly! Their storeroom is in a mess and there are tons of baby cockroaches in the cafe *smugs*
You didn't knew!

Secondly, the maid uniform are mostly UNWASHED! EEEWW! Imagine guest taking photo with the meidos and touching their dirty linens. WAHAHAHAHAHA!

Thirdly, their table cloth is SO DIRTY that at the end of the day no one bother to rinse it (i did on that day for them) and it stinks like hell. Imagine wiping the table and chairs with those yucky cloth! HAHAHA!!!

Fourthly, the ramen is basically maggie mee and the ingredients used are sometimes expired or mouldy and smells funny, yet is still being served to the guest (poor guest, luckily no one food poisoning yet!)

Fifth, the desserts, mainly cakes!!! Have been refrigerated for almost a year and not sold out yet, DON'T EVER BUY THEIR CAKE! You die none of my business, I warned you. HAHA

Sixth: GIRLS who are currently working there, I HOPE YOU SEE THIS or maybe not cause I might get into trouble, stop being their PETS. EEWWW.. Plus the staff there currently looks are normal. SCOFF!!

Seventh: If you girls suddenly quit, TRUST ME! THEY WON'T PAY YOU A SINGLE CENT! Just like me and 2 other girls. That is why all the pioneer batch left after E took over the business from the previous boss.

So my friend went to MOM to sue the Bastard 'E' after being unable to get him or 'M' on their mobile, they ignored her sms and mine as well when I thick skin asked for my one day pay (apparently they hide our punch cards too or perhaps destroyed it already) and he threatened her so she dropped the case. HELLO! I worked 1 day so if you are not paying me, fine, I won't say anything. My friend who is the pioneer batch worked so hard for you and you are not giving her her pay? Threatened her somemore.

Conversation btw me and my gf:

Now tell me, does such boss deserve his business to survive and continue preying on innocent girls?!
NO!!!!!!
So if we join the company we can't quit, if we do we can't get paid even if we worked for many days?
UNREASONABLE! BASTARD!!
I just hope that my friend would have the courage and open up the case and win this law suit.
And do not ever patronize ~~(C)Kawaii Koohii at FUNAN IT MALL~~ (trying to make the name not so obvious. AHEM).
NEVER!!!!
Unless you all want to die of food poisoning one day i beg you to just go.

Mum's 12 years death anniversary

It was mummy's 12th years death anniversary (12 August) and I couldn't make it cause initially was supposed to work.
But SIGHS forget it. In future work alone better.

It's been tough all those years of trying to be tough, I have been immature when in actual fact, I should be more mature than anyone else because of what I have been through.
I learned a lot of things through all my mistakes made, bad moments, happy ones.
I'm still making mistakes now and then and still lacking the drive to push myself, it's something I detest about myself.
I usually don't get nervous about exams or test or whatever, but this semester made me felt so scared of failing.
I'm not sure if I have given my all, but I tried very hard to focus whenever I am in school.
It's like I get distracted too easily or perhaps they say that is a sign of wanting to escape.
To escape from what or who I do not know, but avoidance as said, is not right.

I miss those days where I have my mum to push me to study hard, to motivate me even if it means to get beatings from her.
I used to love studying, I do. But somehow or rather I lost that drive when she passed away.
I wonder, how do I get that drive back? How so?
My dad doesn't even talk to me much even thou we have been staying under the same roof for 4 months?
And the moment I shift in, I see debts piling up which stresses me alot.

I hope in my next life, mummy would be my mummy again.
But to not pass away so early and leave me and my sis in the lurch so suddenly just like that.
I still remember how she looked with her last breathe to convey her message to me and my dad.
That expression and suffer that she gone through, I couldn't erase it out of my head even till now.
I was beside her, I couldn't do anything but cry.
If only I am smarter, older, able to love science or medical. Perhaps she could survive.

SUSHI Feast & chillout night.

Met up with Ginia after school and headed to Cityhall for SUSHI~!
The food is so so, so not worth mentioning to you peeps.
But if you wanna try it out, holla me. ;)

Went window shopping after and tried to play the catch machine but failed repeatedly so we gave up.
Head home to shower and met BF and Ter at winebar.
Just simple chillout by Robertson Quay, and lots of noisy puckers around. TSK!
Spoil the atmosphere.

Harry Potter Exhibition @ ARTS Science Museum

On National Day, Bf brought me to Harry Potter Exhibition!

Like finally, but the path to the exhibition were packed like sardines with people blocking the way!

PISSED! But oh well.

The exhibition was fine, wasn't really that WOW as I thought it would be.
Basically showcase of their props and clothings used in the movie.
So yeah.

This photo cost $20!!! Bf spent a bomb on that day cause of me. =/

Guilty.
I bought that jelly beans home wanting to trick people.
So bf and his sister ate it. I left it at home in the fridge after, let's see who will get the vomit.

Maybelline 'An Arresting Lash Revolution' @ ZOUK

Been too much at Zouk that it irks me. LOL!

Won tickets to the event launch and it is by invites only (exclusive as usual).
I had too many spare tix so brought more gfs along.
In the end I still had 2 entries wasted. OH WELL. Tickets kept for memory sake then.

Bourne Legacy Premiere

So Edwiana won a pair of tix to the Premiere and I headed down to Vivo first to collect the tix for her.

But before that I headed down to Winsland House (MaybellineSG) office to collect the tix that I had won consecutively twice! As well as collected for Edwiana and Hannah for the event 'An Arresting Lash Revolution'.

First time! I'm earlier than her cause i'm usually the late queen. :roll eyes:

It was a hassle as for the collection of the tix, I had to photocopy my ic and hers.

So while waiting for her I went to window shop at F21 and roam around Vivo.

Camwhore as usual with her. But not much cause I only have my lao pok pok iPhone with me.

Edwiana threw popcorns into MY soup, and we both ATE it She says that if it ever gets worldwide, rmb we started it ;)
MUAHA (her laughter)

The movie was intense, but lots of running and killing and eew..

The ending was fine to me, but quite stupid that he lived that long with that pill of something that he is on.

But I would say the action was there, with stunts played etc.

But the ending, it was a happy one but quite retarded.

So Edwiana and I stayed (she forced me to) till we see the credits come out hoping for a better ending. NONE.

Pulled her out (cause I wanna pee real bad but she still refuse to budge!) and we have to walk out of the cinema with this stuffy stairways that everyone is heading towards to and crowded. YUCKS!

Next time if i'm urgent and I wanna pee, never listen to Edwiana advice on which level toilet to head to, my bladder almost burst!

Walked up and down like crazy and she laughed. =(

Went to have late dinner (fish soup!) cause it's not fattening and I am getting fatter. MEHHH!

Head home after that.

Overall day = 10/10!

So I injured my left wrist again unknowingly, the 3rd time.
Been carrying too much heavy load on my left wrist that caused it to be strained again.
Been given the same medication everytime but this time they left out the bandages.
Will make time to go and buy one tomorrow after my casting.

Nylon Guy's Launch @ ZOUK!

So Miss Gan have been raving on how much she wanted to go Zouk since years ago and I refused to cause I detest that location (ulu, squeezy location and a lot of tiko boys).
So I won a pair of tickets to the event (as well as my babe), well Diana went in via the VIP queue cause her friend from Nylon got her into the list (free flow alcohol from her side).
But NAHHH we never drink much.

While waiting in the queue, CHIVAS ice cream was being SERVED. Ice cream by Seventh Heaven . Credits! It taste yummy, ALCOHOL!!! -Rage- wants more of it.

So when we finally manage to enter the club, the first thing we were greeted of are 2 tattoo artist.
They were giving free air brush tattoo and apparently no one went up to them, so we 3 dived in to save them.
HAHA! That got the crowd coming ok.
Edwiana and Diana each had a star on their wrist and arm individually.
I had mine on my right arm and left ankle. =D
And we went off to camwhore cause the event took quite a long time to start.

So we saw alot of local celebrities again, like ROZZ, Utt etc etc..

Left early cause the Princes Diana was tired. So we left.

While waiting for Edwiana's mum to come fetch us to Mediacorp.

I bought hotdog gummy! (Which Edwiana sua ku never see it before)

And yeah I went crazy with the gummy.

Went down to Mediacorp for a briefing.

So Edwiana & I walked in via Radio Gate #llikeaboss cause our superior told us normally the guards won't let people enter from there, cause all passes have to be changed from the reception.

He said we CHARMED them. =D So both of us was giggling like mad.

Head over for dinner at 'The Prata House' after that and Edwiana sua ku, don't know that it was located at Marymount area.

She got so excited when I told her about the prata. Haha.. So cute.
