On Thursday, July 31, racing action was sanctioned by the WDRL.  Eckrich took the top spot with Passing Points.  Eckrich was battling in the top seven all night long before finally finishing 6th.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Friday will be the qualifying night for the USA Nationals, and they will has run the make-up feature from the "Masters."  On Father's Day Weekend, the A-Main was ready to roll out onto the speedway when rain set it. Eckrich raced a solid heat race and put himself into the Iowa-Illinois Taylor Insulation Pole Dash where he finished 5th.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;At the start, Eckrich slipped back on the narrow racing surface.  A late race charge by the Flying 50 put Eckrich back into the top five by ace end. It was a two night affair on the World Dirt Racing League trail.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;FRIDAY:&lt;br /&gt;It was a bad night for the Flying 50.  During the race, Eckrich was placed one lap down during a restart.  Officials discovered after the race that the call was a mistake.  He was scored official as the last car on the lead lap (14th place).&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;SATURDAY:&lt;br /&gt;Things look great for DEM.  Eckrich was ready to start the A-Main towards the front of the starting grid, but Mother Nature had other ideas.  Rain rolled in as the 26-car field was just about to hit the track.  The night was washed out. The top prize is $40,000 to the winner of the 100-lap A-Main.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Qualifying was held Friday night (May 9), and that set the field for tonight's Heat Races (May 10).  B-Main's and the 100-lapper will follow. The race, originally set for Saturday, April 18, 2008, will now be held next weekend – Saturday, April 26, 2008. It was also the season opener for the World Dirt Racing League.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;After racing his way into the 40-lap A-Main via a B-Main, Eckrich started 18th.  The Flying 50 was slowly working his way towards the front when trouble occurred.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;A car in front of Eckrich lost control coming off of turn four.  That car bounced off the front stretch wall and collected Eckrich's car.
