I have always been fascinated with science fiction with it’s beautiful weapons and robots in particular. This character which I call Metalbot was created after studying all the various creations from many sources when I was watching the futuristic movies like star wars, aliens, i-robot and many others to mention here. All interesting reference points for me to explore my own robot creations.

So here is my version and it is cute but with it’s own personality. We see the Metalbot blasting into space. I love robots and will keep exploring ways to create them in my mind.

I cam across this tree out in Perth. It was barren and I noticed that the clouds way above somehow looks like it was supported by the branches of the tree.

It does look like the clouds is part of the tree. I love how fluffy and light the clouds appear.

So this is a visual effect that looks interesting to me and the silhouette of the tree branches makes it simpler and more beautiful too. Keep on shooting! o(~_0)o

I spotted this interesting character in Perth, Australia.

Very carefully constructed entirely of different sized flowerpots.

I think it looks very nice and fits right into any garden.

And the final touch with the addition of a bowtie just completes the character.

I don’t know why some people just want to live that a little dangerously. Maybe it gets their adrenalin pumping or something like that.

Most of us have done it at some time or other. Now I try not to do it. My life is more important to me.

I find it annoying to be driving on the street and seeing an idiot walking along the middle of the road without a care in the world.

It’s almost as if they are daring someone with enough guts to plough into them. That’s why there are bridges around and zebra crossings.

To protect motorists from irresponsible jaywalkers like this. But most of the bridges and pedestrian crossings are always located further away than where they will want to cross so for convenience sake they cross illegally.

Sure the traffic here has slowed down but still that does not make it right to walk in the middle of the road in the opposite direction right?

There are always reports that the most accidents happen to pedestrians often crossing or walking on the path of oncoming cars.

Well some people never learn and there is not much we can do about it. o(~_0)o

Isn’t it great to get your clothes cleaned and hang them up on the trusty clothesline?

Well since there were some space left on the clothesline, someone thought it would be a great idea to dry the fish as well.

Interesting but not very appealing to eat the fish I think. Anyway saw this scene in Hong Kong and I think the fish were freshly caught and hung to dry. o(~_0)o

I saw this bird taking a rest after presumably a long flight from somewhere else.

It spotted the only place in which to rest undisturbed.

Imagine it it knew that it was an abandoned oil drum which probably has residual oil in them.

These sorts of pollution litter the ocean.

I have seen on tv how sea turtles that have lived for many years died because they swallowed plastic grocery bags.

They choke on it and cannot remove it from their mouths swallowing them and suffocating in the process.

This is really sad and shouldn’t be happening if people were more responsible.

Recycle whenever possible and really take care of our fragile world! o(~_0)o

There are not many of this type of traditional outdoor barbershop in Hong Kong.

I came across this one with no one around. Not even the barber.

So I was wondering whether it was a form of art installation for all to see.

I love all the quaint details and the natural feeling here.

It was not an art installation after all as I waited for a few minutes and saw an old man carrying a glass of tea in one hand.

He must have just had breakfast. And I am sure he has been in the back alley for up to 30 of 40 years.

But I think leaving his stall for a few minutes was fine as the queue waiting for him was non-existant.

It was interesting to see this type of traditional barbershop still existing quietly in a back alley but for how long we will never be sure.

There will definitely be no sons to take over this business and the youth nowadays aim much higher or are distracted by things that look cool or seem to be cool.

I certainly hope business picks up for him as he needs to make a living out of something he knows how to do best and that is, cutting a decent affordable haircut. o(~_0)o

Can you see the very sad looking dog? Looks like he is not going anywhere.

See the traffic light at an odd angle? It’s been hit and leaning dangerously to it’s side.

No wonder the dog looks so sad.

In reality the car the dog with this car is not the one involved in the accident.

This happened before the dog arrived. I think it was a hot day and the dog was seeking fresh air.

That’s why it looks so sad… it is just hot and tired and stuck in a car without any air conditioning.

So sticking it’s head out of the window is a good idea for a way to cool down a little bit.

Hope it found a nice cool place to relax later on. o(~_0)o
