A Review on MSG Movie by :

Friends, Seeing is believing, knowing firsthand is experiencing. I have been reading the reviews on Internet on MSG since Friday morning and have been on the verge of forming an opinion, that Oh , yes, the movie lacks a punch :-(

But, as we know, that there is always a slip between the cup and the lip, so to be sure, before i formed a final opinion based on what others were saying, i decided to go for late show and take along with me a group of friends, so my group included 4 well read senior citizens, 2 peons, 1 accountant from a local office, my wife, myself, and 3 students from my locality.

In my 7 years of a hectic, aggressive career as a mainstream Bollywood journalist in Mumbai, who has covered more than 1500 personal interviews with TV Stars, Directors, Films Stars and Superstars: ranging from, Amitabh Bachan to Shahrukh Khan, to Hollywood hunks like Pierce Brosnan, Christina Aguilera, from dazzling Preity Zinta to striking Deepika Padukone, But..... I have not seen such a different movie as MSG..........In my experience of watching over 500, Thursday night movie premieres in Mumbai and reviewing them, MSG is something that can evoke the deeply hidden but basic humanitarian attributes in us.

I agree, that there might not be a popular regular, star cast in the movie, and the movie, in patches could look like a recollection of initiatives for humanity, but let us not ignore the message it catalyses us with , that all dear humans: Stand up and be “Warriors of Humanitarianism” , be real, be your true selves, heed the call of duty: honor your existence, Serve others selflessly, love indiscriminately.

All this and much more while giving you and your family a healthy entertainment.

Kabhie Khushi Kabhie Gham: While people in the Cinema hall , enjoyed and cheered the music, the rap by the film hero, they cried and sobbed too, why? Because they were reminded of the basic human values in them already there, but unfortunately, in today's times, these values are eroding. The values to, respect elders, love for children, love for daughters, living in cleanliness, respect for women, tolerance, equality for all castes and genders, and a lot more to, strike a fine human balance in life. While watching the film, especially at the end, i was echoed with the famous saying of Swami Vivekananda “ This life is short, and the vanities of the world are transient, they alone live, who live for others, rest are more dead than alive. I was provoked for a moment, that a lot more constructive work can be done through this wonderful machine, our body. If not too much, but at least one can, inhale noble thoughts and exhale goodness, with some service to mankind.

I won’t ask you, just to get up, but get up, go and watch this deep message oriented entertainer and why rely on someone else's opinions when you can make yours, first hand.

The Cancerous and Boring Film Critics above , Hic !

There is a tribe called film critics. They have never made films, nor acted in them, they never sang a song, nor did they ever use a camera. And yet they are the guys who know best what a film ought to be or ought not to be! That very same tribe, of honorable people, with allegedly honest intent, are purely following the world’s most ancient profession of criticizing others! They have rated the film MSG -The Messenger poorly, but can one hope to reason with them, are they amenable to reason? Can anyone question their collective wisdom….but Oooooh! I forgot, they never answer questions, but only pronounce judgments!

Let’s not bother to judge these uncriticisables and get back to the movie. For a debut film, it is phenomenal and grand.
Few amazing facts about MSG that no one was honest enough to share!

Music:

1) The opening song Never Ever Remix is a catchy beat with electronic dance rhythm where MSG has shown a vocal range of a whopping 3 octaves in one composition. Which other performer in the world has done that? The critics offer no comments whereas the top music jockeys of India have gone wild on it, calling it ‘Love Charger on steroids’…..Sony Music has worked overtime to wrestle away the music rights, while Universal Music remains a die- hard fan. Why?

2) Daroo Ko Goli Maro, is a remarkable techno rap with electronic innovation that makes it a truly unique product in a country largely known for copycat acts.

3) Papa the great: Has been the most heart rending and emotional song since Babul ki dooayen leti ja…., a classic.

4) Desh Ke Liye is an absolutely galvanizing song that makes us proud of our country and evokes patriotism powerfully.

5) In the soulful song Raatan Baatan, none of the wise geeks from the criticism industry noted that a video sequence similar to Peshawar shooting of children was filmed two months prior to the actual attack, isn’t there a touch of divine realization of where society is headed.

Suspense
The movie holds the plot tightly to keep people truly engrossed, particularly in the second half, and builds upto a dramatic fever pitch before the final explosion. Action, high drama and grandeur are all present.

Comedy
Is interwoven most creatively, and the jokes actually make everyone laugh.

Emotional Connect
The movie gives a steady dose of emotion in the right places to bring out innate goodness in everyone. While it is not a regular tear jerker, it does put viewers into a somber reflective state at places giving 360 degree entertainment.

Colors and Vibrancy:

The colors of the movie have come out much brighter and vivid compared to even Hollywood flicks like fast and furious.

Fashion and Costumes
Some people might have found MSG outfits too flashy, but can someone reveal where else such designs would be found. Isn’t that an innovation in an industry which confuses skin show with fashion? Decency and creativity as a fashion statement for the youth is being criticized while vulgarity (AIB variety) and omnipresent obscenity is stoutly defended. Disgusting Bollywood stuff (rape scene/item song) and alcohol (Bolly booze songs) drive rape that the media makes so much song and dance about and once there is something that truly empowers women and restores values, the two faced hypocrites don’t like it.

The Social Message
Emancipation of women, blood donation, fighting global warming, leadership by example, cleanliness drives, religious tolerance, patriotism etc are slickly interwoven.

Overall:
Awe-inspiring entertainer with a social message. A must, must watch!

MSG The Messenger is a 'movie'?

No its not.

Then what it is?

It's a 'Change'.

A change that was needed in our society. A change to bring back us to on path of humanity. A change that is so much required by a society where people would ignore someone bleeding on roads. A change for society where respect for women is 'unconventional'. A change that tells us to work for humanity. I can go on and on.. but words wouldn't suffice.

Oh k. But I watched it and I didn't like the movie.

Doesn't matter. Its understood, the movie doesn't have any vulgarity, direct or indirect, no disrespect for women, not even telling you to drink "chaar botal vodka" .

Our minds are conditioned to enjoy what's not good for us. 'Bidi Jalayi Jigar se Jiya", "do ghoont nashe ke maaro" would obviously sound better than "Daaru Ko Goli Maro". Medicines don't taste good. Its a general fact.

But its effect remains. Forever.

May be you are right. But I am a normal good person and I don't need anyone to tell me what's right.

That's a kind of millions of illusions that 'Mann', 'Kaal' would through at you. Think when you last time thrown that "Maaza" on road? When was the last time you donated blood? Does it matter to you that the small kid on nearby tea shop deserves some love and care from you? No? Next time you look at that kid. Think.

God forbid, someone is your family needs a rare blood, remember that it might be from a person who got this inspiration to donate blood by Saint Ji.

Animals live for themselves, except a few who show some signs of humanity.

Guru Ji reminds us of humanity everyday, which we tend to forget or ignore easily.

If MSG is so great. Isn't 'Neki Kar Dariya Me Daal' holds good for him. Why movie is all about Guru Ji. Tell Me

May be, but we wouldn't be having this discussion in case we abide by "Dariya Me Daal". When evil is being promoted heavily. Goodness needs to brace up and promote itself. Someone has to respond to "4 botal vodka".

I get that, But don't you think it was too flashy and colorful and loud for a spiritual movie.

Didn't you enjoy that?

Yeah I did.

Our saint has shown us a path where we enjoy every moment, colors in the movie is manifestation of that. Our saint shown us that the FUN is not always in 'BAR' or Discs. Our Rubru Nights go way ahead of that.

Indeed, such euphoria and craze. Never seen that.

Ha Ha. Now looks like you will watch this movie again. This time you shall see what you missed last time.

MSG-The Messenger is the best movie of the year along with Beautiful Story. Screenplay, acting everything is perfect. Guru Ji and Co actors created magic beyond one can think. Songs are totally awesome specially “Desh ke Liye” . This movie is the perfect example of how a movie can be good without heroines and item numbers, and romance.

At first thought after watching news channels, this movie seem to be only spiritual, but after watching i will say the movie got everything, comedy, emotions, love, humanity. Everything is so original.This movie is a delight for movie lovers, only few biased haters can dislike this movie. Good point of the film is its unique concept. The film ends with many noble messages.

The Drama works big time & The Narrative is extremely engaging. First half of the film is filled with some good comedy sequences and second half will make you amazed with some heart touching and heart shaking scenes. Guru Ji should get national award for this movie, he gave his best. Entry Song of Guru Ji was awesome - “Neverever”. His stunts on beautiful self designed bike mesmerizes viewers. He is a real life risk taker unlike bollywood actors which takes the help of their dupe. Watching his fighting sequences make me stunned. Superheroes have been around in Hindi cinema for decades, but huge technology have made ‘MSG′ the slickest of them all, special effects-wise.Overall Good about film is Magnetic Superhero formula enmeshed with spellbinding stunts

Its an Entertaining, Well-Intentioned, Superbly Acted, honest, meaningful, humorous & heartfelt film that definitely deserves a watch. The social message the movie conveys comes across loud and clear and that's one of the prime reasons why MSG-The Messenger becomes a deserving watch.

So all in all this is must watch film for not just the people in India, but for everyone in the world. A masterpiece film, this should be India's official entry to the Oscars. Its that good and beyond one of the best movies ever made in bollywood. 10 out 10 rating.

Simple are HIS words

Great are HIS teachings

What makes people take the trouble of traveling hundreds of kilometers, often in overloaded vehicles cramped for space, and then after reaching the venue to stand in ,reaching and participating in cleaning unknown city to whom they don’t belong even ,just only because their Guru called them? They would come by air, they would come by train, they would come by bus and if they don’t find any other means, they would travel thousand kilometers to reach and participate in cleaning drive. How can so many people be fooled at the same time?

The answer is again faith and love.

Faith built on the foundation of real spiritual experiences, and love that feeds the faith. I felt this thread of love running through the thousands who gather in unknown city for the only aim of “clean earth and abolish disease curse”. Such enthusiasm for welfare works is very hard to find somewhere.

Many anti social people are blaming Guru Ji with false allegations but still HE is ever ready for the welfare of society, working day and night. No matter who says what, HE would do everything for the welfare of society and no one could stop him and no one can.

Guru Ji is caring for all- "the hungry, the homeless, the crippled, the blind, the lepers, all those people who feel unwanted, unloved, uncared for throughout society, people that have become a burden to the society and are shunned by everyone." and encouraging others to care as well.

Guru ji is an example and inspiring all of us to become a better person and showing us a path of happiness through service of others.

This event will be celebrated on the ground of Shah Satnam Ji Cricket Stadium ,near Dera Sacha Sauda and opening ceremony will follow Flag Hoisting Ceremony by Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan .Various welfare activities will also be organised on this day.

It is worth mentioning that this society has more than 42,000 Trained Volunteers Including qualified & experienced Doctors, Engineers, trained rescuers, paramedics , reconstruction workers and people from various trades and all its members are engaged in 70 Humanitarian Activities run by Dera Sacha Sauda.

Sucess of Yaad-E-Murshid Eye Camp with 13203 OPDs

A successful 3-day Free mega eye screening and surgical camp was held in campus of Shah Satnam Ji Dham under the pious guidance of Most Respected Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan.The purpose of this camp was to give medical aid to people suffering from eye-ailments, particularly surgical removal of cataracts from the eye.

All the pre -screening & examinations were done in these three days .At the end of 3rd day, 13203 patients suffering from various ailments were examined and out of which 1636 patients were selected for operation and were brought to the Shah Satnam ji super specialty hospital by the conveyance provided by Dera ,1428 were operated upon and after the operations, implantation of the lenses and 3/4 days stay, the patients were sent back to their homes. The conveyance, pre & post operative tests, follow-ups , medicines, operations, lenses, lodging & boarding, specs, etc. were provided free of cost to these patients.

It is worth mentioning that Respected Guru ji visited patients everyday to inquire about their well beings and blessed them.

The doctors were supported by a number of staff from various hospital including Shah Satnam ji specialty hospital staff and various volunteers of Shah Satnam Ji Green S Welfare Force Wing who rendered selfless and affectionate service to these patients during their stay.

Holy Inauguration of Shah Satnam Ji Kripasagar Dham -Bikaner

Accepting the earnest desire of the inhabitants of Rajasthan ,Most respected Guruji Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan arrived in Bikaner on 19^th December evening and inaugurated the Ashram complex by joining the ribbons and named the Ashram as Shah Satnam Ji Kripasagar Dham.

This Ashram is located on the Napasar Road and is 10 km away from the main city Bikaner.

It is worthy mention here that Most respected Guru Ji laid the foundation of the Ashram on 22nd November 2011 and Construction work completed in less than a month under the pious motivation and guidance of Guru Ji. A large number of faithful reached there for a rousing welcome to respected Guruji when Shahi kafilla reached there in Ashram. Sadh Sangat tripudiated a lot on the tunes of bands and welcomed His Holiness wholeheartedly and whole ashram was decorated in a magnificent fashion - with colorful lights,welcome gates and the flags.

Guru ji said that in this Ashram , farming will be done in most latest technology ,Various kinds of fruits, vegetables and cereals will be grown hereand soon this barren land will be converted to most productive land and nearby farmers will learn here new technologies of farming free of cost.
