It Works - A bargain for Peptides By Lauren Carhartt "MasterDATA"

It works!! I read the first review and had to put in my two cents. I have used the original Strivectin for years and the results are incredible. I'm now 61 and I am not shy about my age but maybe Strivectin makes that a little easier. I look closer to 40 than 61 when I look at mirror and I enjoy with it. I am not saying this cream made all the difference (good genes and exercise help too), but I wouldn't trade Strivectin for anything.

The key ingredient in Strivectin is Peptides which stimulates collagen growth. If you know who Dr. Oz is, he says Peptides are by far the best ingredient for restoring and maintaining skin and collagen. The new Strivectin contains four time the amount of Peptides as the original product.

Anyway, nothing works for everyone. There are many factors such as health and genetics that do play a part, I'm sure. All I can say is that it works for me and I love it.

THE BEST FACE CREAM, By MayaP

I have used many most of the expensive facing creams in the market and this one is one of my favorite. I LOVE it!!! It makes my skin look younger. I am 28 but I have very dry skin and some wrinkles on my forehead also under eye area, and well as around my lips. They are deep wrinkles, not fine lines and I serious with it. This cream takes care of them and I no longer have wrinkles. For me it only took a few weeks to get the result. I have actually never seen any results from any cream before in my life.
I still use SPF cream in the daytime and I use different creams here and there but I couldn't live without this cream. It smells very nice almost minty. No perfumes or strong scents that I don't like. It moisturizes the skin so well that when I put this cream on my face at night then in the morning when I rinse my face in water I still feel like its on my skin. Its not oily at all just nice moisturizer.
I am not sure what else this cream does but it took care of my wrinkles extremely quickly and I couldn't be happier because I am obsessed with any imperfections on my face.

Fake Bake Sunless self-tanning will give you beyond an experience ever than other brands which you have ever tried.

Some rules apply to all self-tanners, otherwise you're setting yourself up for disappointment. Here goes:

First, you have to exfoliate before you tan. Use exfoliation gloves you can find at any drugstore and don't bother with scrubs (like the paste kind that come in a tube or tub), they just don't work as well. Get exfoliation gloves!!!.

Second, Tan in the evening, giving yourself 30 minutes to dry before heading to bed. Tanning during the day simply does not work. You'll smell funny, it'll get on your clothes, and you can't avoid water during the day. Let the tan develop while you sleep!

Third, Make sure your sheets are dark colored, like burgundy, dark brown, or plum colored. If you have white or cream colored sheets, forget about it, they will be brown in the morning. I also have a thick mattress pad because sunless tanner will work its way through a fitted sheet and stain your mattress if you don't have a pad under your sheets.

Forth, Wear gloves! You have to wear gloves! Using bare hands and washing them
afterward has never worked for me. Wear gloves until you've finished everywhere else, then tan your hands with a gradual tanner and blending into your wrists well.

Then, Apply lotion to your palms after you've finished gradual tanning your hands, and rub your palms to your elbows to get a good bit of lotion there, and this will sound weird, but carefully apply lotion with a fingertip to the knuckle on your big toes. They grab tanner on me, so I apply lotion there too. Then take a paper towel and rub the lotion off your palms and big toe knuckles, and wipe the lotion off your elbows (because of the color guide, it'll look odd there, but it'll be even in the morning). Use the now-lotion-covered paper towel to wipe your fingernails and cuticles off.

Finally, Avoid water until the morning. Don't brush your teeth after you've applied sunless tanner, you'll end up with a lovely pale ring around your mouth because the tanner was disturbed there.

Best Facial Cleansing Line I've Tried

Ever since using the Great Skin is In for NL to Combo my skin, my face has been sig softer and more even toned. This is the first facial cleansing regime. I've used that hasn't required a toner to remove of dead skin cells but leaves my skin so clean feeling. My skin is less oily during the day and my makeup requires less touchups. Definitely recommend this product to anyone who's looking for a quality product.

Philosophy Great Skin Is In Skincare Set

I love the purity cleanser. It's light feeling on the skin and it gently cleans. The hope in a jar is a very nice moisturizer.
It goes right into the skin and does not sit on the surface so it also has a light feeling. The help Retinol cream, is too strong for my under eyes area. It really dried out my skin.
Fortunately it was very compatable with other areas that are not as sensitive like my neck and even on the back of my hands.

Why didn't I do this sooner?
I have been a huge fan of Purity Made Simple. It has been my cleanser for a few years now. I used Hope In a Jar in the past, but stopped, for some reason ( I think when my skin changed during pregnancy). I am so glad to be back. I love the gentle glow so much and Hope in a Jar gives me. My pores look smaller, and my face looks more rested, even on those days when the kids leave me feeling haggard. And i like the smell, which some complain about. It is fresh and clean and botanical. I am also loving Help Me, and can't wait to see my skin after a full tube of use. It is gentle enough that I haven't experienced any dryness or negative effects, but I still think it is working. I'd love to see how it works with their microdermabrasion system, but my budget doesn't allow for that right now! All in all, a great kit, that's will definitely be buying again! Such great value!

Invisible Moisture
The Vanicream line was recently recommended to me by my new dermatologist. I told him I had tried several products that were supposed to be gentle: Aveeno fragrance-free, Cetaphil, Avalon Reactive Skin line, Nature's Gate free, etc, yet they all either felt greasy, the fumes irritated my eyes, or they made me break out. He strongly suggested Vanicream and gave me a sample of the cleansing bar (soap-free) and the regular cream. The bar was great--no scent, no irritants, very mild. Yet the regular cream was a bit too heavy for my face (though great for hands and feet). So, I went in search of the Lite Lotion . . . and voilá! If you compare the two side by side, the lotion is quite gel-like in consistency unlike the cream. I wash my face with the bar and then use about a dime-size dollop of the lite lotion on my face. Within a few minutes, it dries to the point where all I can feel is super smooth skin without, amazingly, a trace of film. I have a tendency to get dry patches on my very fair, ruddy complexion. Because of sun damage, I also have pre-cancerous areas that need extra gentle treatment. With the Vanicream Lite Lotion, I get gentle yet sheer and smooth results, and NO clogged pores. Yay!! I wish I had known about this stuff sooner. :)

I use this product regularly and the quality of this particular bronzer I received was low
quality...it is not like when you buy it at the store. The stores have been out of this color and I am wondering if it is because they had a bad batch and sold it to Amazon. Anyway, I have the darker color I purchased at the store and it is a totally different product that the compact I received, but in the same package. The powder has a totally different consistancy. I hope this helps. It seems like this bronzer was rejected by quality control and sold off to Amazon...

I see results after a month's use.
I researched these a few months ago but I was skeptical. When my dermatologist recommended it for my sun damaged skin then I decided to order it. I've been using it 2 times/day for a month and I have to say, the hyper-pigmentation is definitely fading. My pores are smaller and I think the dark circles under my eyes look better. I use this every morning after I cleanse and before I use toner. It is after all called DAILY Microfoliant. You really only need a small amount. I like to wash my face in the shower, so it presents a small problem. Mostly because its a powder and you cant get it the bottle near water. However, I have found it reasonably easy to use and it works great. My skin looks and feels great.Its softer, more smooth and I have less breakouts. Its gentle enough for my combination skin. Doesn't dry out my dry areas and it takes away all the oil. Definetly the best exfoliant I've used.

Love it !!!
When I got this product I was very disappointed, the products are tiny, the application unusual and the face spay burned my eyes. I hated it. The next day I had a big rosacea episode, so I gave it another try.... The cleanser did not remove all my makeup, but it also did not irritate my skin, This time I put the spray in my hand before applying so that worked, I applied the barrier repair immediately after as the spray as the instructions say. This stuff is awesome! It trapped the spray moisture in. It felt like my face was cooling inside out. The barrier repair is small, but little goes a long way, it feels oily but dries, into a silky finish, perfect for makeup. Love it! Ths stuff is better than my MAC face primer. Love it! Apply FX Spf 30 tinted moisturizer on top, and you have a perfect face.

Great for sensitive skin!
I have tried TONS of skin products. Every winter my skin has a couple of patches that appear that get VERY red and peel...over and over and over. Nothing has ever seemed to work. The dermatologist lumps it into some sort of rosacea. This has been the first product that has been able to help and then keep it from recurring! Definitely worth the money!

This is remarkable for the reduction/elimination of stretch marks, as well as toning your skin. I've lost over 50 lbs, and while I still have silvery marks, I don't have the ugly wrinkly skin that goes with them. It soaks in quickly, and smells absolutely wonderful. Pair it with the shower oil and life is good.

This is one of my all time favorite products. The texture is silky smooth and not too heavy and it is wonderfully moisturizing. The scent may be too much for some but I love it. I recommend using it in conjunction with the L'Occitane - Almond Shower Oil

The Best!
OK! I can honestly say that I have tried lot's and lot's of products from fancy ($$$$) to drug store brands. I didn't care, as long as the product worked. Well, my quest is over! This serum is amazing! I've noticed a huge difference in just days and now it's been weeks and counting. I suffer an occasional break out, have melasma from sun damage and am showing signs of fine lines and wrinkles. Sounds like I would need a miracle, but this serum handles it. In a short time, my skin is completely clear, smoother, pores are tighter, wrinkles are softened and my skin is now more even toned. I just ordered the rest of the M2 line products too (out of curiosity), because the refinish serum works so well. I'm also extremely happy that I am not spending a fortune!!! YOU MUST WEAR A GOOD SUNSCREEN during the day when using this product.

AMAZING STUFF
I used this to reduce my acne scars/hyper-pigmentation and it works! It sluffs off old skin super fast and allows your skin to regenerate. Can cause a bit of peeling when used twice a day but not bad. I have been using it over a month and I think the best approach is to use intensely for a week or two and then give your skin a day or two to recover so it doesn't get fed up and start peeling. I also starting using Bobbi Brown's intensive serum to help my skin not peel and regenerate some lovely new skin cells after the old ones were all gone and the combination is a match made in heaven! Do beware though- this product WILL BLEACH your towels/pillowcases so be careful!
Best product I have ever come across for acne-prone skin/scars. Unlike anything else so well worth the money! It's actually a rather large bottle and since it works best in small amounts it's a great value. I have had mine about a month and I haven't even used 20% of it yet!
Four stars because I was expecting better results for my dry lines as well but it hasn't made any difference whatsoever in that department.

Awesome stuff!
I have been using this product for several years. It does an excellent job of keeping my skin looking its absolute best. My skin is smoother and softer than ever before and it really helps diminish fine lines and wrinkles (esp. around the eye area). Acne is also a thing of the past. I haven't had any breakouts since using this product.

The glycolic acid concentration is very high so if you have never used this type of product before I strongly suggest you acclimate your skin by using Level I products for a few months, then move to Level II for a few months before using the Level III products as it will burn and possibly irrate your skin

Great product and brand
I started using this product after my dermatologist recommended it for help with some hormonal pigmentation, fine lines and acne (in my early 30s!). I started off using Level I and slowly moved up to Level III. I use this product in conjunction with the Facial Cleanser III. I can honestly say that this stuff is incredible. My skin is clearer, tighter, and softer than before. I no longer have to deal with acne. I think my skin just glows with this product. I've been using it for several years now, and if not for the cost, would use it exclusively. But, whenever I switch to a cheaper product in between birthdays/Christmas when I have run out of MD Forte, I can tell a huge difference in my skin. It really is amazing and I'm surprised more people don't know about it.

Finally a product that really delivers results!
I have taken very good care of my skin over the years and have spent lots of money on different products all with so-so results. I became interested in using Dermalogica after I had a Dermalogica Power Vitamin Facial at a spa. The aesthetician told me that my skin would continue to improve for the next 5 to 7 days, and it did. The Daily Resurfacer has made a dramatic improvement in my skin. After only 2 weeks of use my skin tone has evened out, some of redness in my skin has lightened and my skin appears brighter overall. I am using this product in the evening and Dermalogica Power Rich morning and night. Neither product is cheap, but I don't mind paying for products that produce the results these do. I'd definitely suggest it. BTW, I am 51 and was considering thermage or other laser treatment to improve the look of my skin. Now I'm not so certain I need it.

Feel fresh skin emerge
Whenever my skin feels sluggish, these little finger puppet resurfacers definitely do the trick - especially over the t-zone. It appears to be quite a strong product so I would not use it daily. The packaging also makes it great for traveling or gym - just throw one or two applications in your bag and you can wipe away that film that one seems to develop when traveling or during a gym session.

Skeptical, but now a thrilled believer!
I was skeptical, but a bit desperate. Now in my 50's, I have been noticing a steady decline in the number, the thickness and the length of my eye lashes, both upper and lower. And I did not like it! I did not know such a thing existed until I saw it on an end cap at the grocery store. Pricey....hmmmm....but if it works....would be so worth it.

I apply it in the morning with my AM makeup routine making sure it is dry before I apply any another product on or near my lashes (eyeshadow, mascara, cover-up, etc.) I opted for the morning time, because a night task like that just did not work for me, even though the instructions say to do it at night.

It seems it took the 4 weeks before I started to see changes I could believe were happening. My lashes are now much longer and thicker and hold the curl much better. Its like Rogaine for the eyes!

I guess it is to be a life-long task for me, but the longer lashes sure do add a lot of life to the aging eye! Maybe the price will go down one day!

Oh, I have not noticed any darkening on the skin near the lashes. Occasionally I get some mild burning while it dries. I "think" I felt some weird eye aching in the first week, but that has gone away. I was not sure it was from the "medicine", but chose to live with it!

Works Great!
I had tried another lash lengthener before this one. Although it did make my lashes longer, I also wanted them to be thicker. Rapid lash made them even longer, thicker and darker too. Rapid Lash was rated the top choice in Allure Magazine in an article they did on this type of product. I could not be any happier. I have not had any problems with eye irritation. I have noticed the skin where I apply the product along my lash line turning a little dark, but I wear eyeshadow everyday anyway so you can't tell. Even on the days I do not wear makeup it's barely visible.

I have gotten asked by a number of people what I use on my face, and I immediately blabber on and on about how great the Ole Henricksen Truth Serum is. I usually have a combination skin type, but it can change from season to season, I no longer dread the extremes of winter or summer, it stays soft and silky looking year-round. I don't even get those pesky break-outs once a month anymore, which I think may also account for my less severe PMS. Amazing! Amazing! Amazing!

This serum is definately one I keep buying everytime the bottle is empty. It is a wonderful fluid serum, that gives your skin a kind of collagen boost. The skin turns out fresh and glowing with a fragrance of fresh fruit. Perfect under a moisturizer.(You can mix it with any other product you prefere)
I really like Ole Henriksens products because you can feel and see the difference in your skin very fast. All products are based on natural oils from herbs and fruits.
I was using Dior products before, but most (not all) of the skincare products has been changed with Ole Henriksen products. Higly recommended!

I love products that do good things for me when I sleep, so this Eye Gel from Ole Henriksen is at the top of my "What's Best When I Rest" list!

Only a tiny amount is needed for application under the eyes and moving toward the temple. It's a smooth, refreshing gel, ice blue in color but transparent when applied. Fragrance free the Gel doesn't do aroma battle with night time skin treatments.

Additions of cucumber and calendula erase under eye puffiness while also discouraging laugh lines (aka wrinkles!).

My 1 oz. jar is a month old and it doesn't even look used. Another plus for this product is the expiration date of 2010 - it came fresh and stays fresh.

I'm almost 40 and have tried A LOT of different eye products. This one burns both the skin around my eyes and makes my eyes water. In addition, it doesn't moisturize at all. As it dries it makes the skin around my eyes tight as though the moisture is being pulled out. I haven't found it to reduce puffiness or lines at all and when I use it on my upper lids it will dry in flake if it gets on my eyebrows. I don't recommend this eye gel at all.
