Tattoos Online
I love my tattoos and, like you, I want them to be the best tattoos ever designed. Just having the confidence to wear my tattoos proud is just enough for me and part of this was because I designed a tattoo online.

Thanks to the internet I was able to design a tattoo online that I still get compliments about. Before you get excited about designing your own tattoo online there are a few things that you have think about before you can get that perfect tattoo.

Tattoos Online

- You want the tattoo to be as unique as possible to have your own flavor so you can't trust free sites that say they have tattoo designs.

- When you search the internet for tattoo sites, try to stay open minded to the possibilities of your designs.

- Make sure they allow YOU to design your own tattoo or mix and match tattoos.

Now whatever your reason is for getting a tattoo you most definitely don't want a tattoo that your regretting and will later try to get removed. I remember my first tattoo when I walked into the tattoo parlor to see that huge tattoo binder filled with beautiful tattoos but they were all ones that people already had. When I asked the tattoo artist if he could make me one I had to set an appointment. I just could not do that so I decided to create my own tattoo online.

Designing my tattoo online was by far the best decision I made because I did not have to rush and the tattoo was perfect for me and best of all I was sure that nobody else had it. When I took my design to my tattoo artist he was surprised to see that I made such a unique tattoo without any artistic ability of any kind. Anybody can design your tattoo online even if you don't have any artistic abilities just add your own flavor and soul to it and you will most definitely love it.

Star Design Tattoos

noreply@blogger.com (sunrise10) — Fri, 16 Apr 2010 09:32:00 -0700

Star Design Tattoos

Not many people think of having star tattoos done, but they can actually look quite good if they are designed properly. You may not think about it, but there are actually a variety of different shapes, sizes and types of star tattoos to choose from and each can look unique in its own way.

It is mainly women who choose to have a star tattoo done; after all, it is not a very manly image! Many women prefer to have the stars quite small on areas such as the hip, just above the breast or on their bottom. Some even like to have them on their ankles or on their neck. Generally though they are small, but it is entirely possible to have a large one covering the whole of your back if you prefer!

What Various Star Designs Mean

As well as looking pretty, star designs do tend to have different meanings. There are 4 pointed stars, 5 pointed stars, 6 pointed stars and so on and each has its own meaning. Some of the most popular pointed stars include:

The 4 Pointed Star

The 4 pointed stars are by far one of the most common stars designed today. The points are designed either extremely sharp or quite curvy, depending upon the individual's personal taste. It is thought that early American native tribes especially liked the 4 pointed stars and they used them on pottery and on rocks as well as in other parts of their lives. So, if you are interested in associating your tattoo with Native American culture, these may just be for you.

The 5 Pointed Star

If you choose a 5 pointed star, you are usually generally into things such as pagan, the devil or pentagrams. These are another extremely common design and they do have a lot of history behind them. Most types of 5 pointed stars are associated with a dark meaning so if you do not want that, it would be better to have a more comical 5 pointed star design and perhaps stick with a pentacle instead.

The 8 Pointed Star

The 8 pointed stars are not generally as common as the others, but it does have a lot of meaning behind them. It is the symbol of the cross of Saint John and it was the emblem of the Knights of Malta. They used the star to symbolize each of the knight's virtues and those were Tact, Perseverance, Gallantry, Loyalty, Dexterity, Explicitness, Observation and Sympathy. These days the design is common with fire-fighters across America.

Flower Tribal Tattoos

noreply@blogger.com (sunrise10) — Thu, 15 Apr 2010 05:02:00 -0700

Feminine tribal tattoos are on the rise and with that increasing popularity it is becoming more common to see females branding a Hawaiian flower tattoo instead of other typical "pretty tattoos." Like all flower tattoos there are classical meanings behind the flowers and there are also typically designs such as tribal that these Hawaiian flowers are commonly found immortalized within. So what is the meaning behind these tattoos and why could this be the perfect feminine tribal tattoo?

Those who have decided to seek the Hawaiian flower instead of a rose or another common flower are making a great decision. It encompasses all the feminine beauty of any other flower with a unique twist. This flower tattoo is typically found in tribal form. Instead of the bright flowy colours we tend to see in flower tattoos it is usually made with big bold black lines, in a more tribal form. It can be added to beautiful other Hawaiian tribal designs such as the sea turtle, mountains and other well known Hawaiian symbols.

These flowers stand for friendship and hospitality just like the Hawaiian people. Another popular Hawaiian flower choice is the lei. These beautiful flowers are found in bright colourful presentations all over the bodies of both men and women. There are also those who have permanently inked these beautiful flowers in lei's around their necks, to symbolize the hospitality and friendship that is presented by Hawaiian natives to visitors to their island. For those who choose the exotic form of the Hawaiian flower tattoo you can ensure it is one to be proud of and to wear happily.

Angelina Jolie had once a nice tattoo inscription on her right arm, reading: Bob Thornton (actor and former husband of Ms Jolie). 50 Cent, the coolest rapper ever, had to remove a bunch of his tattoo designs (in particular those on his arms) not to hamper his own Hollywood career. Haydin Panettiere has a nice tattoo inscription on her hip, reading: "Vivere senza rimipianti", which is Italian and supposed to mean: living without regret.

You've passed by them on the streets or at the mall and you have looked in curiosity and possibly turned away in disgust. You know what I mean--they are the teens of today--what used to be the fringe, the counterculture, who have now become more mainstream, the ones with the nose rings and pierced tongues. You silently wonder "how can they eat like that or blow their noses?" And then your 16-year-old daughter returns from school one day talking about her friend Mallory's new navel ring. She thinks it's cool and wants one. You are dead-set against the idea, but how do you handle this situation?

Some teens respond positively to "Not as long as your under my roof" and they wait until they move out or go to college. Other teens may say "Well then I'll just leave," and will move out. According to Woodinville, Washington, therapist, Elaine Pool, "You know your teen best." You should know what kind of limits work and what kind of limits don't. If your teen is one with whom you can reason, ask her to help you research the topic, and if after the research it still seems like a good idea, then you can negotiate.

Research the topic together and get all the facts, including sitting in on one someone else's procedure so you and your teen get a realistic picture of what happens. What exactly is body piercing? Body piercing is the creating of a hole, with a needle, in a part of the skin in order to wear a ring or stud through that part. This part of the skin may be the navel, eyebrow, nostril, septum, ear, nipple, tongue, etc. The holes created for body piercing are permanent, even if after the first year, the person never wears the body jewelry again.

In addition to the permanency, piercings are associated with dangerous health risks. Body piercings can become painfully infected. And, according to Dr. Absar H. Haaris, of St. Agnes Hospital in Philadelphia, getting a body piercing "increases one's risk for Hepatitis B and/or C" and HIV/AIDS. The increased risk is so great that the American Red Cross and regional blood banks have started to refuse blood donations from people with body piercings.

Remove Tattoos

noreply@blogger.com (sunrise10) — Sat, 10 Apr 2010 18:40:00 -0700

The desire to remove tattoos has been around just about as long as their existence. Recent technological advances in lasers have now made it possible to remove tattoos without leaving an equally undesirable scar. You may have seen creams marketed to remove tattoos; some are currently being investigated for their effectiveness, but there isn't a great deal evidence for them as yet. Early attempts to remove tattoos have had less than worthwhile results. Early attempts to remove tattoos included sanding, cutting, or burning of the skin, which resulted in scarring.

A tattoo is meant to be for life. Unfortunately, what a customer might want these days may not be what they want in two or even twenty years time. Both the procedure and cost of acquiring a tattoo are relatively minor in comparison to having it removed at a later date. It may be wise to bear these facts in mind in before visiting your local tattoo artist with design and cash in hand.

Two of the most commonly used methods for removing an unwanted tattoo are also two of the most unsatisfactory. The first method involves removing a piece of skin from a less-noticeable area of your body and grafting it over the tattoo. This strange sort of "plastic surgery approach" covers up the tattoo but also leaves scar tissue as the skin is no longer in it's normal state.

Another method is to go to a tattoo artist and have a different design tattooed on top of the unwanted one. With this course of action, the black outline from the original tattoo can be noticeable around the new one; the larger the original, and the more black ink it has, the more difficult it will be to cover it up.

A surgical method which is just as unsatisfactory is called dermabrasion. In layman's term, you can think of it as rubbing at your skin with sandpaper. Even if this method is performed by a licensed doctor, you will likely conclude that the resulting scar is worse than the original tattoo. The reason for the scarring is that removing a tattoo with this method will entail going throughout the tattoo and the underlying skin. The scarring left by this method will most likely leave that portion of your skin a much lighter color and a different texture to the skin surrounding it. Of all the tattoo removal methods currently in use, dermabrasion will leave the most noticeable scarring.

Jesus Tattoos

Jesus Tattoo Designs - The image of Jesus as a tattoo design is the most "Christian" of all religious tattoos. Jesus is often depicted hanging on the cross. As well many times the tattoo is a close up of his face with a halo (or faint glow) over him and a crown of thorns placed upon his head during the crucifixion.

Angelina Jolie Tattoos

noreply@blogger.com (sunrise10) — Fri, 9 Apr 2010 22:42:00 -0700

Angelina has a mix of tattoos on both her arms. Her left bicep previously had the name "Billy Bob" and a black tribal dragon on it. Both of those pieces have since been removed by laser treatments. In their place are now the latitude and longitude coordinates for the birthplaces of Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax. Be on the lookout for 43n42, 7e15 to be added to Angelina's arm sometime in the future! Those are the coordinates for Nice, France, birthplace of her new twins Knox Leon and Vivienne Marcheline, born July 12, 2008!

Her left arm also has a quote from Tennessee Williams on it, reading "A prayer for the wild at heart, kept in cages." This covers a previous kanji tattoo.

On her right arm, she has an Arabic tattoo, the word meaning "will (determination)" covers up another tattoo from her marriag to Billy Bob Thornton. She also has the letter "H" on one of her arms along with the Roman numeral 13.

Lower Back Tattoos

noreply@blogger.com (sunrise10) — Fri, 9 Apr 2010 22:22:00 -0700

Tattoos on the lower back have gained immense popularity in the past decade or so. At a certain point of time in history, they were considered to be the symbol of bad character and casual attitude; the entire outlook has since changed. These tattoos are, in today’s day and age, considered as a reflection of the mind and behavior of the individual who wears the tattoo. Owing to the vast number of designs that are available, any individual can perfectly depict his or her attitude in the pictorial form. Some of the most famous forms of lower back tattoos are the Celtic lower back tattoos, the butterfly designs, and the flower designs.

Celtic tattoos are those tattoos that comprise of various Celtic arts and designs. Celts are a clan of people who lived in Europe and spoke their own distinguished language. It is widely know that if any individual who is getting a tattoo done wishes also to incorporate alphabets, then he must do so in such a way so that the lettering matches the exact work of art and does not look different from the design. The tattoo lettering should look as a part of the entire design and not vary from it. This is easily possible in the case of lower back Celtic tattoos. This is due to the fact that in the case of Celtic tattoos, the alphabets can be intricately woven into the design by the help of various Celtic knots.

Angel Wings Tattoo

noreply@blogger.com (sunrise10) — Fri, 9 Apr 2010 22:09:00 -0700

Have you always wanted a pair of angel wings? A lot of people fantasize about having a pair of angel wings as they can represent a wide vareity of symbolism and important values to the bearer of this great tattoo. So what do your angel wings tattoo represent? It is really up to you and below we will explore some of the more common meanings and symbolism behind the angel wings tattoo designs.

Angel Wings History
Interestingly enough the angels present in the Western bible never had wings. If you read in the old or new testment the angels and seraphim where very much human like in every way. In fact they did not even have a pair of wings. However, they were always the bearer ofimportant new from God. They often came down to earth to spread an important message. Often apperaing in dreams or during times of deep prayer to people and giving some form of important advice.

However, somehwere early on in history artists including painters, stain glass artists and even calligraphers that created illuminated pages of the bible seemed to incorporate a pair of wings with the angels, speraphim and nymphs that came to earth. Why this was done or where it started has been lost in history but it can be seen almost everywhere.

In modern art this traditional of angel wings has continued. You really can no longer find an angelic bieng without a pair of white feathery wings. It could be that early artists just wanted to show an angels special powers and have some way to represent an angel as looking different then humans. Of course the ideas that Haven is somehwere above us in the clouds or way up in the sky in some magical place must've lead early artists to the conclusion that angels had to have some form of transportation between heaven and earth. This might have lead to the wide use of angel wings. Who knows how this really got all started but it is clear today anyone with a pair of wings must be a special being from God.

That's why we will concentrate on ways to find the truly great design on the web, because too many people keep seeing a slew of generic, low end artwork and not much else. Finding good Cherub tattoos should be fun and this should help you on your short journey.

Black Tribal Tattoos

Black Tribal Tattoos
Tattoos are believed to be a modern phenomenon adopted by the liberalized young generation that is mostly found in big cities around the world. Most parents still advise their teenagers against getting tattooed. Surprisingly most of the tattoo designs used widely today date back to many years before the present civilization. These are what are referred to as tribal tattoos.

Tribal Butterfly Tattoo

noreply@blogger.com (sunrise10) — Thu, 8 Apr 2010 19:40:00 -0700

Tribal butterfly tattoo designs can be some of the most amazing and sexy designs you can choose. I know quite a few women who have them and most of them are top notch. There are some individuals who end up settling for generic artwork that doesn't come out very good, which is a real shame. Here is the truth about a lot of the tattoos on the web, as well as how to locate the truly great stuff on your journey.

I will also tell you about the number one reason most people keep running into the same generic content over and over again. The number one reason is actually the starting point for most people and you most likely use them to look for tribal butterfly tattoo designs. I am talking about search engines. That's right. Search engines might be the ultimate tool at finding most things in a split second, but this is not even close to being the case when it comes to finding the quality artwork on the web. Notice that I used the exact word "quality". That is the main point that we all need to realize when on your quest to find tribal butterfly tattoo designs. Search engines are notorious for pull up nothing but the same generic, cookie-cutter websites out here. It doesn't matter which styles of tattoos you are search for. It could be tribal butterfly tattoo designs, or it can be tattoos of suns. All that seems to pull up is websites that are overloaded with generic art.

The artwork I am talking about is usually over seven years old and most of it is already plastered on hundreds of other websites over the years. There is not chance of there being any sort of originality in any of those types of tribal butterfly tattoo designs, or any tattoos you may be looking for. Not only that, but most of the generic artwork out there wasn't even really drawn to be made into real tattoos. Most of it was made my artists back in the day that had no clue that their image would be used for tattoos. Most of the artists did not draw them so that they would come out good when used as tattoos. Heck, most of the artists don't have any real knowledge about tattoos to begin with. Those are not the kinds of tribal butterfly tattoos you want to settle for.

If you really want to be able to find your way to the quality tribal butterfly tattoo designs out there, then you will need to change your searching ways a little bit. It is actually a very simple transition. All that really needs to happen is for you to utilize internet forums instead of relying on search engines for a brief time. Not only will it save you a bunch of time in the long run, but the quality of websites you will be able to find will be well worth it in a multitude of ways. Forums are simply loaded with unique insider information on tattoos and the hidden websites that tend to have the quality artwork that you just can't seem to locate when using Google or Yahoo. I love forums for this reason and many other people do also. Finding tribal butterfly tattoo designs through forums does work and this goes for any tattoo you might be considering.

Fairy Tattoos

noreply@blogger.com (sunrise10) — Thu, 8 Apr 2010 10:14:00 -0700

Fairy tattoos are one of the most feminine tattoo designs and are a favorites among women. Actually, there is not much of a difference between fairy tattoos and angel tattoos. While angels can be said to be messengers of god and are considered to be of the religious type, fairy tattoos doesnt have religion attached to it.

Fairy Tattoo Design

Fairies were just some supernatural beings with magical powers. Fairies are supposed to be fun loving creatures, who can be naughty too. According to various legends fairies used to punish the persons with an evil nature and helped the prince fight the big bad ogre.

Some people also believe that fairies are lucky to the one who is able to see them. Fairy tattoos show the sensual side of females and can give a hint of naughtiness or even flirtiness in their nature. Ladies, if you are thinking of getting a tattoo, please keep fairy tattoos in your mind.
