Here’s my latest round up of Walmart home decor & furniture favorites! Seriously they have sooo many great things!! I teamed up with Walmart to share the hottest items for the new year– loving the organic forms, mixed materials & modern lines. Shop below for more ways to affordably freshen up your space for the new year, from stylish side tables to on-trend dinnerware, they’ve got everything you need. WALMART HOME FINDS:

For 2023, I’m seeing more wood tones and more warmth! Less sterile greys & stark whites– more cozy neutrals with subtle pops of dusty blues & greens to add interest + even more layered textures! Textured art, furniture and unique looking pieces that have an artisan feel. This guide of top sellers incorporates these details perfectly! Including the mix of materials that’s going strong– upholstery with metal accent, upholstery with wood, leather with wood & metal (see the top benches & top vanities for some great examples of modern mixed materials!).

For sofas, we’re seeing more minimal design styles to let the textiles add the pop of color, texture and pattern. Sofas that have a bench cushion or simple 2 cushion designs are preferred over the more traditional 3 cushion styles of the past. Neutral fabrics + linen looks are forever a classic! Another timeless accent is the vintage/antique look rugs– hand knotted styles or ones that look hand knotted are top tier!! These antique styled rugs pair perfectly with the more streamlined, neutral sofas too. For dining tables, similar to the simple style sofas, I’m loving more of the minimal/clean design paired with an interesting chair– something with texture, an interesting shape or mixed metals to bring more life to the design!

We decided to kick off the family Christmas traditions a little early this year so we could have our family gingerbread village up all season! This was such a fun family project. I love that these mini houses are so cute & more manageable for kids. Plus it’s so fun they come in different styles– how adorable is that A-frame cabin?!! We did this as a Sunday activity for family time, but it would also be a great one for Thanksgiving! It’s fun to have a gingerbread house contest with extended family & friends to kick off the Christmas season!

This is for sure the lowest price I’ve EVER seen on our mango wood nightstands I love! Also the faux leather sofa I used in our latest remodel is now only $300. How crazy is that?!!
