The OO is a wireless projector by David Riesenberg capable of displaying high definition (1080p) data. Utilizing either a WIFI connection or internal SSD storage, the projector can operate independently from any wire for up to 3 hours based on an internal Li-Ion battery or using a single wire connected to a power source. With the combination of WIFI and internal storage, the OO can act as both an extender/duplicator of an external display or as a wireless media projector/streamer with built in decoding capabilities. The three independently articulated legs allow the OO to be tilted for optimal positioning. Full interaction with the projector is done via the touch screen remote but the projector can be operated without it in extender/duplicator mode after pre-configuration.

Part of the GEO series, the OO’s form is inspired by the simple and elegant form of the circle – from which it also gets him name denoting the shape of the projector and the shape of the lens. The semi monocoque carbon fiber structure allows for a lightweight construction and combined with its dimensions (11in / 28cm diameter) allow the OO to be portable but without compromising image quality.

I’m so excited for the weather to start getting warmer here on the East Coast. I’ve already been spending more time outdoors, and I’m crossing my fingers that “Snowmageddon” of 2010 is over. Wouldn’t it be grand to have a barbecue with this fantastic outdoor kitchen from Fuego? We all work very hard, many of us spending countless hours staring at our computer screens. So I thought, why not have something pretty and inspirational to stare at? This is a new project we’re going to try out here on Design Milk — Designer Desktops. Starting this month, Design Milk will create a beautiful desktop wallpaper for you to download to your computer and iPhone, inspired by a thought-provoking quote from a renown designer. This is all in good fun, and best of all, they’re free!

Icona is a cuckoo clock by Giovanni Levanti for Diamantini & Domeniconi with a great range of bright and deep inky colors. The name Icona recalls the simplicity and the expressive strength of flat shapes and shiny colors.

It is made of birch plywood, lacquered metal, anodized aluminium, stainless steel super mirror sp. 16/10. Available in bronze yellow, coral red, emerald green, electric blue, and magenta. The small bird is always canary yellow.

Street Headphones by Brian Garret is a graduate thesis on rapid manufactured designs that was picked up by Freedom of Creation for manufacture. What makes them so special is that owners of the headphones can customize the headband with the names of musical artists they enjoy listening to. What names would you want on your headphones?

The Bullitt is a genius idea from Larry vs. Harry. This bike can hold just about everything including all your groceries and maybe a couple of children. Riding on the handle bars was never as fun as this!
