These are the best and easiest Twitter Template psd Files I can find on the net! I used this and it worked. Twitter templates can be a pain to mess with but this makes it very easy.

Instructions:
Check the size of you monitor and that is what you want to work at in photoshop. The file as everything guided out for you so all you have to do is pick your resolution size. Once you do that use the crop tool to crop it down to the correct size and use that as your man canvas. Use the guide in the middle which will be where all the tweets will be shown at. Now you might have to mess with the white guide in the middle and move your main image around in photshop but this is the closest you will get to perfect. Once you upload to twitter use that as a guide from there to tweak your psd file in photoshop then re-save as a jpeg and upload again until you get it right. Good luck!!

Now this is a lengthy tutorial...but read it. You will learn new and understand old tools better. This blending a turtle but this will help trust me. Do it three times with 3 different images. It shows how to adjust lighting and colors in images to create surrealistic look almost like the manipulations you see on mixtape covers. Official Mixtape cover Breakdown: Kid Eight Yo Gotti White Amercia Mixtape Cover

This is a great simple and easy to do mixtape cover. All you need are the resources. This is not his best work. But something simple I can break down for you guys. Now kideight is a great mixtape cover designer and been doing this for years So that makes him a professional. What I say may not be the correct way he did it but I am trying to give you an idea.

Lets do it.

This is the "White America" Yo Gotti Mixtape cover. Now as we begin with the background. That is a simple image of clouds or a sky line. Which was warped to take the form of the earth.

The earth and the coke. The coke in America is basically a good texture blend. Ever see them images were animals are fruits? Or animals are blended together? Maybe with different textures?? This is sort of the same but he probably used a lot of images of powder. Which you can easily find. Try flickr.com. Great clear and free images to download.

From the Libra scale, kilo, car in back, and the pot of coke. Easy to find images just need to be blended properly. I am working on a tutorial using levels and blending options. Also working on one about the outline around the artist. How I do the outline. And how I believe other designers do the white outline around the artist. I have another tutorial I am working on that will also be about the tools I use to blend images together.

Now for Yo Gotti, I'm sure each part was cut out. From the jeans to the jacket to his face and hands. This is usually done because when using a simple effect it will effect all colors on the layer. But if you cut the jacket from Yo Gotti and only add effects to the jacket layer it wont effect Yo Gotti's skin. Now, how he got the 3d look on the jeans and jacket? Clueless. I noticed that on some or most of his other covers. Besides the bright colors he uses, he also has the 3d look he adds to the clothing. That I am still studying on how to do. But will def get back to you on that. But look at the 3d effect on this mixtape cover.

Finally The font! It is a great and simple font. Yo Gotti is right behind in the image of himself. Goes to show you dont have to have it popping in the front all the time. Same with the white America title. Good font was chosen and was laid out smoothly. I'm sure this font was chosen to the resemblance of powder cocaine.

I know last post I said would break down Lil Wayne's "No ceiling no walls pt 3" but I'm over that cover. Next time I'm sure there will be more better great mixtape covers to try and break down.

Official Breakdown: Mac and cheese 2- French Montana

Great cover!! What makes it so great?? It goes perfectly with the title! The theme is perfect. Mac and cheese and French is sitting in a pool of cheese with cheese drippping!!! When looking at the cover...you can easily break down the images. Everything is placed right. As for the designer...he been doing this for years. Wonder where he got his stock images from? Well half of these graphic designers are photographers or work with a good photographer! You will prob never find this background image no where!!

Breakdown:
Dripping cheese can be done with the pen tool. Will take a lot of time but pen tool is one option. Easy way for this is to search for goo, liquids, or even HONEY!!! Looks like honey on frenchy's shoulder. Then use some tools to change color and ad depth.

The splashing cheese at the bottom with the macaroni floating everywhere...that I believe came from the actual mac and cheese ads. Just blended properly!

Pool of cheese... search for water...pool of water...add the ripple effect and use some tools to change color. Easy!

Intro:
Very simple design. Forgot the name of that font but can be found on plenty of font sites. Visitors if you know this font of your head please comment!
Notice the intro is in lower case. Try something different. Everything does not have to be all caps or first letter caps and rest lower case. Try keeping it lower case sometimes. Blending options were used to get the see through look.

Title:
I know for a fact that was not done in photoshop. There are font software out there that can easily get you this effect. But I just stick with Photoshop for now. Then again he could of done this in photoshop. Remember he is a professional!!!

Great cover. Hope this inspires you to stick with themes! As for the post...I am not telling you how he did this...I am telling you how I THINK he did this cover. As for the designer... do not know his name off hand but check is logo right there on the stove next to the a.k!! Now you see? Yea im sure you seen that logo on plenty of covers you fell in love with. Comment is name in comments if you know who is!!
