【Project】Let's go Music!

When I'm in jewelry design class,

Jason told me, our group enter the Jumin gallery selection.

It's really a good news.

Another group enter the selection is Oily.

I like their work a lot,

thinking of the smile of our class would on the wall in Jumin,

that is wonderful !

I've never draw on the wall,

there must will have lots of difficulties,

from beginning till end.

How to sketch on the wall, how to use oil color,

how to draw in order.

There must will a lot to learn,

also to see how other groups drawing.

If we can become friends, that would be great!

What's more, enter the selection also means,

I could see some of my friends in summer vacation,

isn't that great ?

【Project】Milton H. Greene

The new project of Graphic Design is about photography.

Photography is an important skill of designer,

getting the images for research, for getting ideas,

for retain all the things, models, products.

To know what photography,

the first step is to know the famous, important photographers.

We all deal out one photographer,mine is Milton H. Greene.

I introduce him for four parts, his life,

take pictures for magazines, famous people,

and the well-knowed, Marilyn Monroe.

He is really an important people for fashion photography,

It's too bad he died so young.

【Project】Search of Bauhaus & Umberlla

Of course, at the beginning of design -- is research.

After a rough research, I decided to focus on the Bauhaus architecture.

Which is much more easy to recognize than product.

Not every product with straight outline is the Bauhaus.

And we can never trust what merchant said,

they said their products are the Bauhaus style for better prices.

To match the color of PPT and pictures,

I choose white background and a parallelogram to put pictures.

First,there are many Bauhaus architectures,

I choose Walter Gropius --the founder of Bauhaus,

Second, to find out the architectures of him,

and then search for some different aspects.

【Project】Final Present of Bus Poster

At the first practice of PPT,

I made a safe style,

using black and simple squares.

I did a change in second time,

using the shape of spade to cut the picture.

This time is the final present of the graphic design project,

I decided to do some change but not too over --

Using a bright color and simple style.

Making composite image is not easy to me.

Sometimes I'm too fastidious about some little things,

it spent too much time, also bad skills,

so the final part take me a lot of time.

To discuss the tips of compositing image with others is really helpful.

【Project】Practice of Poly.

A new project started.

Using poly to make a handle and combine with the Bauhaus.

Anything needs practice,

although it cause some pollution.

But what can I do is making useful thing -

I try to make it become a memo clips or decorations,

and do not waste any tiny amount of poly.

Teacher said, it will not disappear forever.

Poly is volatility, and it do harm to our body.

Mite said, some his classmates didn't wear mask when making poly,

they got the indefinable whelks on face.

So never forget to wear mask!

The "papercutting" project is over.

Though the end result is not good, that's it,

things won't always being perfect.

But after I saw the exhibition "Young Designers’ Exhibition (YODEX) ",

I thnk about that why I didn't just paint my toast?

I'm just mading a model. It doesn't matter it can really been eaten or not.

It's a way th show my idea but I didn't think of it.

It is to be regretted.

【Project】Practice of Photoshop -PDA

The first try of drawing a 3D product.

Photoshop is usually use for fixing pictures,

it's the first time I use it to draw an true thing.

Although there are so many software too draw 3D product,

but the goal is learning using photoshop to display the light and shadow.

All the things is about light and shadow-- painting, photoshop, and photography.

I was very inexperience at first, but things get better later.

I felt a little catch the point, though some parts were still in a mess.

For example, the bottom was just seems like soft, rough and uneven.

I will get ahead, I just need more practice.

【Project】The Jumin Copetition.

To join the compition of Jumin gallery,

our classmates were distribute into groups.

Free choice about the theme,

so we can draw anything we like.

There are five people in my group.

When we decide to draw a pop style illustration,

we start the most important job -- research.

Finding the history of Pop art,

finding some pictures of pop art.

After discussing with our teacher,

we tend to combime all the material into one.

Pop art is a style,we can draw everything into pop art.

Our group decide use the theme we all loved--music.

For example, the Beatles, trumpet, rock signals....

we search the picture on the Internetand transform them become pop tyle.

It is every interesting.

We all had a happy time during this project.

【Project】Research of Bus Poster

Another practice of PPT.

Also sharing the pictures of bus,sports star,and opera.

But we can see all guys' ppt this time,

some of the classmates did hve personal style.

I used the safe black, gray, and white last time.

And tried to make it straight and clean,

so I want to make a different one.

Because the opera is the story about the queen of spades,

I choose the spades outline to cut the picture.

But I can't control the feeling,

and make it too complicated,and not easy to read.

Less is more. To many elements are not easy to control.

Need more preactice.

【Project】The First Practice of PPT

After Eleanor sharing the beauty of PPT to us,

We will use it to share our research

about bus, opera, and sports star.

Using the layer of photoshop can creat straight, clean, and accurate outline,

makes the presentation clear and professional.

I want to make it seems clean, so I decide to use black,white,and gray.

It is easy to scheme and are safe colors.

Which part I spent most of time is to find a good pictue being background.

I draw some shape I want to make in PPT,some of them seems great,

but when I really put pictures, they won't always look quite nice.

So I give them some try, and choose the greatest one.

The leaving job is to fill the pictures in,

it's more easy but still have to pay a lot of time.

This is my first time make PPT with photoshop,

it's a really different experience.

【Project】Practice of Photoshop -Card

It's our first project of photoshop,

to make a card of my own.

I rarely used photoshop before,

though I know it is important to designer.

But now, here is the homework, it's time to raising my skill.

The most difficult part is to draw the outline,

and make it easy to recognize as my face.

After printting out, our teacher will tell us how to improve,

teacher said that I should change the spacing.

I got the point!

【Project】Papercutting-Fin

When I thought how to do the toaster molds,

I thought of there are two ways to roast out patterns,

just like the picture on the left.

But when I draw them on my pc,

I found out that if I cut out the pattern,leave the outline,

the little pieces will lose.

Just like the pictue on the left with blue.

So I knoe I have to keep the patten,and have a test.

The test showed that the

toat where didn't cover with mold will scorch.

And the left will keep white.

After mading models in paper,

I sent the file to cut.

Maybe the metal I choose is too thin, (I use soft steel)

I just thought about the thick one is not easy to cut,

but didn't think of it maybe cause the pattern not clearly.

So when I really use it to roast toasts, it's not functioned.

But cutting metal needs three days,

there is no time to make a new one so I failed.

I try to use it in other way,

to burn egg, to burn toasts,but all are not useful.

I press it on the toast and get a indistinct pattern in the end.

I'm so sad, because I quite like this idea.

But feel better before long,

I still learn a lot-

brainstorming , research, trace outline,

turn the select line into paths, revise the paths,

laser cutting, farm-out, and materials.

Every classmates did great job,

and I also love some of theirs a lot,

Eventually, we can all sleep well for several days.

要往裡頭小便，恐怕也需要一點勇氣吧。

利用男性的微妙心態輕易的保持了整潔。

現在，有了進階版。

結合了壓力感應的小便斗可以玩遊戲，

或許在有趣清潔的考量之外，

也因為愛往廁所跑，促進了男性的代謝健康也說不定。(笑)

【Project】Papercutting-3

I found two toasters on the Internet which could put molds in.

But both of them have special structure to put their special molds.

It's quite uncomfortable.

I decide to design a mold which can use in all the toasters.

So the first step is understand it's structure.

The constitution of toasters are quite the same.

The toaster use metal nets to grip the toasts, and roast them.

After thinking over the constitution of toaster,

I want to do a mold which can catch on the toaster.

otherwise it would have difficulty to take out.

It should be flat for equally heated.

I have decided what I want to do,

it's time to have a test and making a model.

【Project】Papercutting-2

Traditional paper-cutting use scissors to cut paper.

Paper-cut is important skill for Chinese woman in the past.

They use them to decorate house when celebrations.

It's a pristine crafts and a life-closing art.

To make a 2D pattern become a 3D product,

I don't want just put patterns on something.

So I want to use the shape of them.

One of my ideas is a table.

Circle table with two parts.

In old China, when the husband leave home,

maybe to serve in the armed forces or to have a business travel,

the wife would take the table apart and become two semicircle tables.

Less people use less place to be at the table.

When the husband back home they combine these two tables,

togetherbecame a full, perfectly circle.

A couple get together so does the table.

It can be a teapoy,or a table, free use of place.

Another idea is toaster molds.

The toasters with molds are not many,

and the changeable molds toasters are even quite a few,

so there was difficulty for researching.

【Project】Papercutting-1

Our first project of Basic Design is about papercutting--

To make it become a 3D product.

We have to search on the Internet about papercutting,

maybe about how to make it, how to use it ,

and kinds of patterns as more as possible.

Our teacher said that the more imformation we get,

the more design we can do.

After searching, we could know more detail for my ideas.

And after getting ideas we also have to research.

Finding the ways to display my idea,

and get some inspirations from surfing.

To get ideas is easily, but get special idea is much more difficult.

Many of my ideas are just about put something on a thing.

I don't like those idea.

Finally, I choose two of them to think more detailand ,

and share with my teacher and class.

These two products are table and toaster molds.

I will choose toaster mold to make.

Though it is more difficult for me to made it,

there will be some problems about how to choose metal,

and it's also not general, so I just can find a little imformation.

So I'm afraid I will fail.

But all I can do know is try hard to cut through it.
