Dustie from GypsySoulCowgirl wanted an Etsy banner that incorporated paisley, cowboy boots and a cross. She also wanted it to have a vintage feel and use the colors black, turquoise, brown and hot pink. The overall theme was to be vintage western, colorful & fun and I think it is just that. :)

My sister and I began a joint venture called Showcase Sisters. She wanted a clean design with a chocolate, sage and pink color palette. She personally hand stamped and colorized all of the artwork images used.

Heather from The Durbin Diaries wanted a new design with a red, teal and brown color palette. She picked out the artwork character image for the header and requested funky fonts as well. After sorting through many, she chose the sparkly diner font and opted for a polka-dot background. I think the colors work well together and the overall look is fun.

Life With 4 Boys

Kathleen from Life With 4 Boys wanted a playful blog that utilized some Pirate clip-art. Since she has four boys, she wanted to stick with blues, greens and browns for color choices and use fonts that were blockish or boyish. She wanted the end design to be playful & fun without feeling too cluttered and I think we were able to accomplish that.

This custom design is not for a blog, but rather for a Ning Network site titled Mom's Favorite Contests. The colors were pulled straight from the artwork image she purchased and I used two different fonts to give it more character. The end result is a colorful yet clean design.

Huppie Mama

Carrie from Huppie Mama had a very clear view of what she wanted her new design to look like. This included green grass, a blue sky, a red headed mama holding a baby and a recycle/reusable bag for the header as well as a whimsical background that has birds and flowers.

It's fun and whimsical - I really love how it turned out!

The Orchid Ribbon

Whenever I do a design for friends and family, it is always a labor of love. This design was no exception. My sister Cheryl started a new blog called The Orchid Ribbon in an effort to spread awareness and share the story of her son's battle with Testicular Cancer.

She wanted a simple design that had shades of orchid, sage and tan. She also wanted to incorporate the orchid awareness ribbon and a few scrapbook-ish elements.

I think the end result is simple yet pretty!

Candice from Simplistic Chic wanted a modern design with a natural health look and feel. I used two separate images in the header, continuing the background from the one into the background of the other to create a cohesive, blended image.

I think the end result is nice, clean and fresh!

The Time for Change

Dominique from The Time for Change wanted a minimal but fun design that incorporated an old fashioned bicycle and a striped background. After much searching through images of Velocipedes and Penny Farthings, she found the one that encompassed what she wanted.

The colors in the header image helped feed the colors for the rest of the design. I used some of the faint flowers from the header image and added them to the striped background I created.

I think our collaboration produced a sweet design!

The Retro Librarian

She wanted to incorporate an image of a librarian along with other retro items/images including a couple of her favorite books and some black & white photos.

Nana's Heart

My sweet friend Lin wanted to change not only her blog template, but the title as well. Since she is going to become a Nanny to her first grandchild in June, she asked for name suggestions and Nana's Heart won.

She wanted the design to incorporate the colors pink, blue & orange, some scrapbook elements, stripes and a baby.

Lin is very crafty and I am honored that she let me do her blog make-over! :)
