I was approached by photographer Chrissie Hall to do a shoot in an airplane graveyard for SVA Magazine. We had a pull letter and everything so I really wanted to pull out the stops! The concept was to do high fashion amped up 80s trolley dolly in a plane crash- very Lavazza coffee advert like. In the end it wasnt picked up by SVA but I was still happy with my styling. I was really under the pump - 8 looks and I had less than a week to source everything on top of existing commitments. In the process I discovered Miliner Jessica Beattie (www.jessicabeattie.com.au) - we were FB mates already..lol.. She whipped up the AMAZING headpieces and was totally feeling my creative flow. These to me were la piece de resistance! Keep an eye out for her.

Since I didnt have a fit model on standby - laying out looks in my bathroom works just as well. How nice and neat does it look huh?

Charly Brown was our model and Chrissie's muse. She really is Rock N Roll. Here she is getting her face on! We wanted to push the extreme of the 80s make up but I wasnt a fan of the green tone. By the time we arrived 30 mins late (um... we got way lost trying to get into the airport, we almost ended up in the middle of the flight path runway but thats another story) it was already done and considering the type of product used against the time we had available I chose to pick my battles. Hindsights a bitch isnt it?
