One of Nancy's favorite things to do is go hiking, so it was very fitting to put her on a mountain surrounded by the things she loves. Everything was edible. It took quite a bit of time getting all the elements made, but when it was all put together, it was fantastic!

Here's to 50 more birthday's, Nancy! XOXO

Giraffe Baby Shower cake

2012-09-08T09:04:00.001-07:00

This cake was a little bit of a challenge. The Giraffes head was a little tricky, but with the help of a great decorator/friend, Michelle, we pulled it off. The "wood slats" are made of chocolate. Clear bubbles are made with gelatin. A very cool technique I did using balloons. This cake was so much fun to make. Hope I could do another one some day.
