My suggestion:
Have a wish list to be filled by everyone and the exchange gift partner shall fulfill your dream! (of cos within budget). Items that are out of budget could be top up by himself/herself?

What needs to be planned:
- preferably appoint an orgnaiser to keep things running (Hope there's volunteers) :D

- Plans & location

- to decide if this party is on? (depends on no. of pax right?)

Located: Near Paya Lebar MRT (Approx. 20 to 25 mins walk)

Walking: Head towards Eunos Road beside Sungei Road instead of Geylang road. If you lost your way, kindly look far ahead for Lion City Hotel, that will be the right direction. But it is near to MRT and far from Lion City Hotel, is just a guide to make sure u are at the right directly when you alight MRT.

Bus Arriving: 40, 70, 76, 135, 197 right infront of Tanjong Katong Complex, (Tangjong Katong Road). You may hv to take bus 80 and change at somewhere near serangoon the red bricks house or the church where we always take to PayaLebar. It may take up to 1 hour if you change bus and etc.

PS: Dear all, try to arrive latest by 1.30pm as there are still other guess coming and the dish will serve together. There will be total 5 tables and DF will be holding 1 table.

Christmas is around the corner... however, would like to check with you guys. Has anyone booked the prawning area? If hvnt, may i know who are the ppl who should be incharging of this as i think that if we book to late, our plan will may be affected.

For the benefit of those who didn't turn up today for mel's bdae celebration, christmas celebration's plan had a draft.

It's will be set on the eve of christmas 24th Dec 2009, Thursday. The programs will only start from the evening. From dinner onwards, We'll be having steamboat at Ang Mo Kio at approximately 7pm. After which we will proceed to prawning! By the time we reach there will be around 11pm, 3 hours later we will start our barbaqueing..! :D

Let's cross our fingers for those NS guys, hoping there will be no duties for them right. :)

DF's Moon cake festival by the garden

Ok, I know the headlines is really dumb but can't think of anything closer to this description. So bear with my lame jokes.

For this coming Saturday(03/10) we will be meeting at two places. One will be at hougang mrt station @ 1pm for the guys who is still at home and the other who is working or bookiAng out we will be meeting @ 1.45pm, plaza singapura. So try not to be too late.

For the attendance, the people who are not coming, Zhen Wei (He need to clean tank, so maybe can't come but I asked him to clean at botanic garden), Serene (Study for test And I also ask her to bring her notes down but she commented too much thing to study but still I ask her to bring alot of note lor. Lolx), SockHoon (Study for test same as serene. You Heng, I too tired to bitch you after my duty.) and Desmond going oversea to Thailand. Don't worry guys and girls, we will make sure we take alot of picture for you all to drool over.

For those who have not reply like Chong Soon, Yang Hong(Same camp big f*** so can no need reply ah) and Melvyn (I understand you now training to be solider but still must reply) please do so asap.

Food wise we will be have sandwich as what Bee Har say. Ham, bacon (abit ex but I will try to see how) Shu an and wei shan wants mooncake so if got any kind working adults soul can sponser will be good, I not greedy, GoodWoodsPark Hotel one will do. Shu hui want to bake our own chicken using hmmm, I can't remember the details but will get back to her.

So Now I need you guys to help. We need people to bring picnic mats( banner or any form of long plastic thinging). A cambro (for Drink) don't need enterian but if you want can bring cards down.

Ya, budget of this outing will be within $10 bucks so be bring enough. Cause got feeling will over shoot.

Well, hope to see you guys on Oct 3 at botanic garden. Please take initative to SMS me if you have those stuff. Or else we will be sitting on grass or dog shit.

Hey guy, it has been a long time since we have a proper DF outing leh. Not mentioning that time when all of you kanna H1N1. So this time Shu Hui and I will be organising a picnic for DF.

Date: 03/10/09 (Saturday)
Location: Botanic Gardens (most likely we will be meeting at hougang area before going down.)
Time will be early afternoon around 1.30pm.
Theme: Its a moonly afternoon.

Feel free to bring your the others half to this party. After all, they are also part of DF right? So got BF bring BF, got GF bring GF and got dog one bring dog lor. Haha, please reply us if you are joining.

I was thinking of getting ready cooked food at PS. Then, maybe cook some finger food to bring along. What is your suggestion?

From the overwhelming response and feedback, I realised that quite a number of you cannot make it on the 28th of June. So I had decided to change to a later date.

The DF's Dinner will be held on the 4th of July, evening! Again, do do do bombard me with suggestions on where we should have our wonderful dinner on that evening!

Hi everyone!

As per usual, I want to stress about consistency on our blog posting. The reason why I emphasis so much on consistency is that firstly, I'm an IT student, so I know how important consistency is. Secondly, we don't practice consistency, our blog will be so messy that we ended having a hard time tracking our posts. Lastly, our blog labels are really really really messy.

I had highlighted this issue before, and things don't seem to be improving. So I will practice ENFORCE from now on you see...

Here is what you need to do when you doing a new post (refer to the picture below).

There are 3 red boxes shown. This is what you need to do:

1st red box: DO and I said DO enter a post title for this one. Do add the date of your post. (E.g. Melvyn's Birtday Photo, 24th of Oct...)

2nd red box: Spam whatever you want over here. There is not need to practice any consistency in this box.

3rd red box: Here is one major issue. LABELS, DOSEN'T MEAN TITLE! I had a hard time removing all the lables all of you had enter before (I spent 2 hours to remove all of them). So here is what I need you all to do.

Firstly, enter the year (E.g. 2009) that you want to post.

Secondly, enter a one word description for the post (E.g. Instead of "Melvyn's Birthday Photo", you should type "Melvyn", "Birthday", "Photographs". Another example, if you are Bee Har, and Bee Har is super angry, you should type "BeeHar" or "ShuAn" or "Zhenwei" or "JiaXiang"(you see the trend in there, there is no space in between two words of your name), "Angry" instead of "I'm Super Angry". Do add a comma in between words, like the example they had provided for you at the "Labels for this post" box. Do caps the first the initial alphabets of the word.

Lastly, REUSED THE LABELS. REUSED THE LABELS. REUSED THE LABELS!
For example, you wants to enter the word "Photographs". The moment you enter the letter "P", they will prompt you the word "Photographs" and/or accompanied by other words starting with "P". Choose the word they had provided for you. It means that somebody had done a post with the same Label(s) before. Please do not, and I say do not, add your own variation (E.g. like you want the word "Photos" instead of "Photographs"). Lets' compromise alright? I really had a hard time manning this section alone.

Due to the fact of messy labelings, I had removed all labels that you all had post before this entry. I myself alone cannot change them as we all had 400+ posts already. I will try to fork out my time to keep this blog tidy and consistent, so that we will not make these few mistake again!
