Michael Woods has been making huge strides recently, and although his Little Boots assisted single I Wish doesn’t come out until the Summer he has decided to plug the gap with his new anthemic single Airborne.

Nero have obviously decided to save the best ’till last as Must Be The Feeling will be the final single from their debut album Welcome Reality.

Must Be The Feeling gets a proper release on March 5th, and remixes will come from Flux Pavilion & Nero, SebastiAn, Kill The Noise, Azari & III and Brookes Brothers. Now that’s a remix package to be proud of.

Skream & Benga took to the Radio 1 airwaves last night to play an hour of music for their popular In New DJs We Trust segment. The closing track was from High Contrast who gave them the exclusive first play of a new album cut called Not Waving But Drowning.

I’m pretty sure I can just let the music do the talking here; Not Waving But Drowning is incredible.

High Contrast’s new album The Agony and The Ecstasy is definitely shaping up to be a must purchase for me – 27th February can’t come soon enough.

Labrinth recently promised us a fresh new remix of his new single Earthquake featuring Kano, Tinie Tempah, Wretch 32 and Busta Rhymes, yet strangely only the Busta version seems to have surfaced on the Internet.

I would have preferred to hear the mega-remix as a whole but I guess this will serve as something to whet our appetites in the mean-time.

It was the turn of Trevor Nelson to take charge of Maida Vale’s Live Lounge this morning as he welcomed Chiddy Bang into the studio to do their thing.

They dropped their new single Ray Charles (which gets a UK release on 26th February), as well as performing an interesting cover of Big Sean‘s Marvin Gaye & Chardonnay (which previously featured Kanye West & Roscoe Dash).

Everybody knows that Niggas In Paris was the best thing to come from Kanye West & Jay-Z‘s Watch The Throne album, and the fact that the track has gone 2x Platinum in America already without getting the official single release treatment is testament to that.

Today sees the release of the official music video which supposedly was given its debut today in Shoreditch, London where Kanye is/was rumoured to be making an appearance.

Kavinsky has been getting a lot of shine lately, which is mostly due to the excellent placement of his sublime single Nightcall in the 2011 movie Drive.

Since the release of Nightcall we have been waiting for new material to arrive, and that happened yesterday when an unnamed assailant leaked his new single RoadGame on to YouTube.

RoadGame is full to the brim with pulsating strings and general all round epicness. Definitely a worthy follow-up.

Tonight saw the world première of Level Up, Sway‘s follow up to his previous single Still Speedin’. Level Up is produced by Flux Pavilion, and in my eyes it has the potential to totally eclipse all of the chart success he has had so far in his career.

This is a massive tune with a really positive message, so I’m hoping it does big things.

I’ve recently come to the conclusion that bretonLABS could do a remix completely made up from sounds of a cat being strangled and still manage to make it sound incredible. Not that I’m likening alt-j to such a horrible noise, but I’m sure you understand what I’m trying to say here.
