We went to the mall to get clothing fir our NY trip next week and actually had food court food. It was only an orange julious smoothy, but 430 Cals. She wanted sbarro's of course because the family behind us had 2 entries each and soda. No way Sistah.

That poor lil girl

2013-08-08T05:49:00.001-07:00

Sabrina had this huge blister thing on the bottom of her foot that the Dr thought was no big deal. Well it doubled in size over night so Daddy had to take her in and they lanced it off and drained it. Now the nerve racking part, they have no clue what caused it so the fluid has been sent to the lab. Hope it's no biggie.

Happy New Year Everyone. I'll try to blog a bit more in 2012. Well at least until December.

2011-12-08T20:47:00.001-07:00

For about 15 weeks I've been coming upstairs, logging into blogger saying I'm going to write something. Get distracted, fall asleep. I think I have about 12 drafts I need to go delete as I never finished what I started. I have a ton of pics of some meals I wanted to post including our Thanksgiving dinner.

I made my attempt at NaNoRiMo this year, 50k words in 30 days, I got to about 1100. Got sick and just could not concentrate. Once again I fell asleep writing this out. a week ago. UGH! Darn sleeping pills really kick in fast some days,. I'm on one now so I better get typing. I plan to be far more prepared next November for teh NaNoRiMo. I am hoping to have something at least in my head to write about early. But, I do plan to keep writing the rest of the year. We'll see.

I wanted to post some pics of food I've cooked over he past few months and keep forgetting to post and plus our thankgiving. We stayed home this year, just our little family and it was great. Especially after we heard there was a lil bit of drama.

Thanksgiving 2011

This Girl is hungry

My Ultimate Sandwich, cranberry sauce, turkey, white cheese, dressing, yellow cheese. Mmm that was good

My Lemon Cheesecake

2011-10-23T20:24:00.000-07:00

I have been wanting to make a lemon cheesecake for sometime now, but I did not like ANY of the recipes I found. So, I decided to make my own. It actually turned out pretty good. I made it last Saturday for our wine tasting/dinner party.

I'm Just SO Lazy

2011-09-11T21:20:00.000-07:00

I never post any more. I am so lazy most days I just don't do much. Cook dinner, the most minimal amount of cleaning I can get by with and sitting around being SO darn tired I don't know how I don't drop over dead. I have been so restless lately, I cannot sleep at all. I switched from Ambien cr to Lunesta and the Lunesta does nothing. Does not even make me tired. Just nothing. So, not sure what I'm going to do when the baby comes, Luckily I'm sure that will not be until sometime next year. Hopefully February. We will be sitting good by then.
I think I'm just overly anxious, have been for decades. As a teen I never slept maybe an hour or 2 a night usually nothing my 20's I could do about 5 hours a night. My late 20's I never slept, I'd go out stay out all night, then not sleep go to work come home take a short nap go to the gym and keep partying. (that is what your 20's are for folks) I thought a kid would wear me out SO much i'd sleep every night, not the case. We will see what 2 do.

Oh well life is good. Enjoy the pic of he pizza. That pizza was awesome. I am getting more and more into making my own basic red sauce for spaghetti and for my lasagnas but I can never find a recipe I 100 % love. If anyone knows of one or has one they do not mind sharing please..... Share. I think the beginning of next year I am going to get a pasta attachment for my kitchen aid mixer and start making my own pasta. I have been making our ground meat attachment lately for our burgers and our meatloafs and I have to say, OMG so fricken good. I use a mix of a beef chuck, a pork tenderloin and lamb chops. It makes THE most delicious burgers, even if you don't have your own grinder buy the mix pre-ground and try it. oh so juicy.

There are days I just hate work

2011-02-04T15:13:00.001-07:00

My 4th long day this week and I'm done. Talk about spoiled, I have not had to work more than 10 hours in so long this Is ME! Considering 75 years in retail and ALWAYS working over 60+, one week of this is killing me over & over. I'm sleeping in this weekend. This cleanse SUX too! All day people here have been eating baked goods, breakfast burritos, burgers and other goodies. Mind you I probably would have not touched ANY of that even off a cleanse, but of course I fell So empty and unsatisfied from fruit, veggies and and tofu and soy food. 9 more days of this mess and I'm done forever!

I want to be skinny and Pretty Too!

Sabrina's Delicous looking Dinner

2011-01-27T23:29:00.001-07:00

I am a big fan of Weelicious, I read her blog and make most of the recipes she makes for her kids. This one was FABULOUS, Sabrina ate every bit and said MMMMMmmmmmm after every bit. Her photo of course looks a lot better than mine, I ran out of cheddar which as a kid/teen I loved cheddar. So, once this darn cleanse is over the family will be having an order of Cheese Grits. Enjoy.
