Indian Flag, WHY IS INDEPENDENCE DAY JUST ANOTHER PUBLIC HOLIDAY?

Happy Independence Day, Indians.
Why is Independence Day just another public holiday?

Yesterday was just any other routine day for me, but it was special – somehow I was happy, joyful but something happened which made me to write this post. I have noticed these few incidents which I thought were really unfortunate.

1. After long time I had been to my aunt’s place and noticed that all of them were scared about swine flu and wearing masks. In fact I have noticed more people wearing masks yesterday than any other day. Few people really don’t care about life around them that they doesn’t even bother looking at these people who are wearing masks. And Some other were just watching strangely at them like an alien walking on roads.

2. I booked a ticket to watch Anjaneyulu, a Telugu movie at PVR. And surprisingly I saw Puneet and other Kannada actors who came to watch Raaj, a Kannada movie. Strangely there were huge Telugu population out there to watch Magadheera and Anjaneyulu. Even there I did find some people wearing masks. Surprisingly no flags on Independence Day occasion at Forum mall.

3. On my way back home at Ulsoor Lake few constables were checking documents with bikers. They are not supposed to stop bikers or anyone else for that matter until and unless they violate rules and it was a Friday, not Saturday to check if they were drunk. Next to that there were 4 – 5 cops guarding Thiruvalluvar STATUE. I passed by with a laugh on my face, little knowing about what I am going see next.

4. Just before defense office near Ulsoor, after Thiruvallur statue I was behind this HONDA CIVIC car. This car guy suddenly ran on something, which I didn’t notice until I applied brakes before that thing – sadly it was our INDIAN FLAG, three color flag which was adapted by Indian assembly in 1947. We even have a regulated code to display and use this FLAG.

But I wonder How many still use this code. People don’t stand up and respect in FAME and FUN for National Anthem. People are worried about swine flu, some are happy that their Hero’s new movie is released. Even more sad was that opposite ITC InfoTech there is a Bar and Restaurant, and last night there were about 15 to 20 guys standing in bikes, probably drunk and blocking the entire road – not bothering about the vehicles passing by. Each and every one is happy and not worried about the entire world and what is happening around them.
I was happy untill last night, now I don’t know. But still I wish you a Happy Independence Day and Enjoy this Public Holiday.

Anjaneyulu, Telugu Movie Review, RaviTeja, Nayana Tara

Story:
Anjaneyulu (Ravi Teja), an average guy with no goal trying to live his life happily and doing a job at TV channel. He falls in love with this girl (Nayana Tara) who was rescued by him from few rowdies. He loves his parents and talks to them every day. Unfortunately both of them die in a fire accident caused by Villains and He decides to kill all them. And rest is the story ……
Performance:
Ravi Teja was in his usual best style, His dialogue delivery and comic timing is perfect. And He is proving to be a safe bet for the industry; all his movies are making profit. And even this movie will make some of you laugh. Nayana Tara didn’t have much to do in this film; it was just like any other dance, laugh, and cry role for her.
Technically:
Direction was poor in second half. Dialogues are a plus point for the film and some comedy scenes in first half will make you laugh. Music by Thaman is good, but in terms of picturization you can’t expect anything different from this new director. Cinematography was good. Back ground music was okay.
The only plus point to this film is comedy and Raviteja. Watch this movie once and forget it, it’s a good time pass for anyone but apart from that there is nothing new on this film of even in the direction.
Dialogues are god: “Podisi paaradobbutha “By Nayana Tara. And many other dialogues by Ravi Teja will make you laugh.
When I saw “IKA MODALE” – at interval I thought the director will make something interesting in this plot, but it was a disappointment.
Starring: Ravi Teja, Nayantara, Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood, Nasser, Kota sreeninas Rao, Jaya Prakash Reddy and Kim Sharma. Kota sreenivas rao didn’t have much to do in this film. Sonu sood and Nasser also didn’t have much to do.
Verdict: Average movie but it will definitely make money and Ganesh (The actor) producer for this film will be safe and he will make enough money to make one more movie.

Kaminey, Hindi Movie Review, 2009 release, Shahid, Priyanka, Amol gupte, Vishal Bharadwaj direction

Kaminey – VIFHAL BHARADWAJ FTYLE - Hindi Movie Review - *ing Shahid, Priyanka, Amol Gupte and Others.

Kaminey is definitely the best in recent times, funny, dark and unpredictable. Dhan Tanaaaaa – Guys this movie is a surprise package for this season, full of fun, and the most exhilarating part is the climax, which will make you whistle and shout for which Vishal deserve a standing ovation. If you have not seen Guy Ritchie’s movies then this is a flick that will take you on a ride you will remember….
Story:

Guddu and Charlie – both twin brothers part their ways after their dad’s death. Guddu falls in love with Priyanka, sister of Bhope Babu played by AMOL GUPTE of Taare Zameen Par Fame, who is wonderful throughout the film. While Charlie becomes a part of gang – mob and follows dream of becoming rich. In this process Guddu marries Priyanka without Bhope’s permission and Charlie gets in to cocaine case. How they escape out of this mess is the story.

The climax of the movie is the biggest assets; Shahid is wonderful as Charlie where Guddu’s Character didn’t have much action to do. Priyanka was equally good in her character, wish she had some make up. Though you find the first half of the movie big dragging but you will forget everything in second half which will make you laugh and the entire plot thickens and becomes more interesting and unpredictable.

In vishal Bharadwaj’s style you have more close shots, which I felt was not good. And screenplay in the first could have been better and cinematography was not as good as his previous movies. Still the movie is worth watching for any one. Dhan Tanaa song which is on top on chart busters will not impress you in terms of visuals. But who cares you have rest of the movie to watch and enjoy for.

Performances:
Shahid was great in this movie; this will definitely boost his career. While Priyanka was great in this typical Marathi girl character. Other characters are quite good in their small roles, you will find some characters which are not required for the movie but still you will find then as wastage of reels. On the whole this movie is worth for the lead characters and surprising AMOL GUPTE.

Technically:
Technically this movie is great and best in the recent times, honestly I never understood the concept of close shots in this kind of films maybe that’s what makes job easy for a director. Cinematography was average, climax which is a wonderful plot in the entire movie is not well shot in terms of cinematography but you will definitely remember this for some time. Music and background score is good, And Finally VISHAL ji Hats off for your wonderful adaption and direction.

Verdict:
THIF MOVIE IF WONDERFUL, FEXY, Unpredictable, Funny and Crowd pulling. Don’t miss this…..

Story:
Agyaat – The unknown, is story of cast and crew and an unknown film, decide to shoot in forest for their movie. They start their journey in forest and THE UNKNOWN will start killing everyone dangerously. This is the whole concept, and the best part is that you will never know who the killer is?

Analysis - Review:
First of all Ram Gopal Varma, who I believe makes nice movies with songs, made a big mistake by adding 2 songs one to show NITIN’s body(Lead character, who is a Telugu hero) and his dance moves, which I should say both don’t deserve to be in the movie. Agyaat is the scariest of all Ram Gopal Varma’s movies But this movie will definitely make its money, because it is a low budget movie and it will definitely scare you twice and make you laugh twice heavily, and for which you can watch the movie at least once. I would recommend this movie if you like this kind of movies, Guys please don’t talk in theatres especially in this kind of movies you need to be silent. When you have people shouting al around saying this movie is “BAKWAS” – obviously you will think that this movie is really waste but I can tell you that this movie is worth a watch at least once. Watch it for that thrill, which is just for a moment in the movie, and watch it for the beautiful Srilanka which was captured well and the use of Jimmy Jip was done fantastically.

- Points: Direction (This is a directors movie) and two songs which are unnecessary.
+ Points: Those scary moments and laughing moments, cinematography, background music.

Background music could have been better but will stil make its mark on you.

Performances: Nitin was in this character, Ram Gopal Varma has made a good choice by using a dubbing artist for him. Priyanka Kothari was ok in this movie and rest of the characters were good too and apt. This thriller will definitely make its money but will fail to impress every one.

Ram Gopal Varam as Director: I have always loved him for his passion towards cinema and his approach. This time he will fail to impress al critic and audience to the fullest but wil definitely make many more movies no matter what. And wait for Agyaat 2 (coming soon). Hope this time he will avoid songs and concentrate on giving you a bit more of thrill.

Verdict: Watch this movie if you like these kind of genre, other wise you have other movies. This is worth a watch at least once.

Unusual, stupid yet attractive (some times).

Story:

Boy meets girl, start dating each other and after year long yet short relationship - they breakup. No Rona Dhona, they happily part ways with a BREAK-UP Party. And then Rishi Kapoor (a known 'uncle') who will narrate his love story in bits and pieces and tell him that there is a huge gap between these generations, and tells him the importance of love. Saif meets another girl; Deepika meets another guy (Rahul Khanna) try to pretend as BF and GF. Saif wants to surprise Deepika by visiting her, and both have a blast in Delhi with a sing and break up once again. Deepika decides to get married where in Saif refuses to understand the complicated LOVE, He leaves country to America for his dream job. And finally after some time he wants Deepika in her life back by then it was too late she is married. Will they get together? No I am not going to tell you that don’t worry you will find out. I am helping saif to make his money, watch this movie at least once because the characterizations are good and yet matured. This is definitely a different movie in Imtiaz's way, but watch this movie since you don’t have any other Hindi or English movie releasing this week. I am sure that any one will like this movie in bits and pieces, there something for everyone.

Review:

Before you can completely get confused and say "hey! What’s happening" - you understand something and say "Okaaaaay", then once again you start getting confused and start thinking "why" - you will end up saying "This movie is really twisted". This movie is not for mango people (watch movie to know who these mango people are) and it definitely for people who are twisted. Since I am one of them I like the movie in bits and pieces but on the whole this movie is average and compared to Imtiaz Ali's previous movie, this movie is not something that any one would expect from him. But the dialogues are different and mature, you might laugh some times, but that may not count when come out of the theatre. Deepika was good, her character was different than what she has done before, matured yet senti - you will definitely like her and saif was good and his character is not as strong as Deepika's, Same like Imtiaz's previous one where all the credit was taken by Kareena. We have to appreciate saif as producer for trying such a movie; he will definitely make money in this one so that he can make just one more movie.

Major + points: Deepika, Dialogues, music, and direction in pieces.

Major - Points: Screenplay (you will have ? ? ? ? ? ? marks in mind sometimes), and few fe more ???????????.

Any way the length of the movie is less so before you get totally bored you will walk out of the theatres forcibly because it’s over.

Final analysis: Average, watch it for Deepika and forget the movie. (Deepika Fans dont worry its not a smooch its just a KISS). Watch it once if you are a Saif's Fan and help him so that he can make one more twisted movie.
