A jukebox plays the latest hit tune in the corner café where he pours himself a cup of hot coffee from the stovetop kettle.

The Red River War Surrender with Vision

The surrender of nation-to-nation climaxed on May 6, 1875 at the close of the Red River War that for hundreds of years pitted one civilization against another: one by greed for control of land and resources, the other for preservation of a free-ranging nomadic hunting lifestyle. We speak of the Comanche Nation, the last free Indian Nation in the Americas who surrendered to foreigners governed by the Great Father in Washington D.C.

In the 1980’s, Gardner described eight types of intelligences: Spatial, Linguistic, Logical-mathematical, Bodily kinesthetic, Musical, Interpersonal, Intrapersonal and Naturalistic ... but he missed Spiritual. Spiritual intelligence would encompass all of our intuitive and mystical awareness, near death experiences (NDEs), our unexplainable hunches, and our inner visions: all cornerstones of our soul sensibility.
