i wish i had thought of this idea!!!  but i didn't :(  a simple shelving unit transformed into a darling dollhouse.  brilliant!  and even though i didn't think of it - one day i am totally going to make this dollhouse for Sasha.  you can make your own too by following the simple tutorial here.

today i wore my new favorite jacket from Pale Cloud. i love it!  and Ms. Jackie loved it too.  i knew she would the minute i put it on.  i exclaimed with delight, "oooooh, Ms. Jackie is going to love this!!!"

i adore this room!  makes me wish i was having another baby :) my favorite element in this dreamy nursery has to be the branch display for all of this lucky little girl's clothing!!!

i recently went to a birthday party.  i was so excited to go.  i love birthday parties.  mostly for the chocolate cake of course.  i love blowing out the candles even if it's not my special day. anyway, it was a disappointing evening from the get go. there were kids there but everyone was older than me.  no one wanted to play with me at all. even Michelle, who always plays with me regardless of our age difference, was preoccupied with Nicholas behind closed doors. i knocked and screamed and begged for them to let me in the room. they ignored me over and over again.  so i moped around the house and complained, "no one wants to be my friend!"

then the bell rang and more guests appeared in the doorway.  "a little boy!!!!" i screamed.  i was thrilled.  finally there was a friend just for me to play with.  he was younger than me and i don't usually like to play with younger children. specially younger boys!  but, this was a desperate situation.  so i went up to him and introduced myself.  he wasn't that receptive.  he was clinging on to his mom like some kind of monkey.  she said his name was Lulu.  "cute name," i thought.  he finally let go of his mom and stood on the ground beside me.  "let's go play," i said and stretched out my hand towards him.  but instead of taking my hand, he stuck out his tongue at me and made this vile farting sound that sent bazillions tiny spit particles right toward my face. i was covered in spit.  i was petrified.  i ran off crying and screaming in disbelief, "Lulu spit in my face!  Lulu spit in Sasha's face! that's not very nice! i'm going to put Lulu in time out!  i can't believe Lulu spit in my face!"

i was so angry.  i couldn't believe he would do this to me.  what kind of boy does such a thing?  it's been a week now since this tragic incident took place and i still cannot get over it.  i walk around the house reliving that moment and whispering under my breath, "he spit in Sasha's face!  Lulu spit in my face!  that's not very nice at all!  he is not my best friend anymore!"
