Lady Gaga's Bad Romance video premiered today and all I have to say is FIYAH! Peep the nail art in the first 10 seconds, the stunning crystal ensemble (sans pants Gaga style) and the Alexander McQueen alien shoes. And she can actually walk in them which I'm sure took either hours of practice or a surgical alteration of her foot. And the girl loves her crowns. Although she is on the strange side I do have to give it to Lady Gaga. Not too many artist are free to be themselves and express themselves creatively and she's definitely the Madonna of our time. Hell...now that I have this new tattoo I might be like her and refuse to wear pants in public.

How Could I Forget to Post This? Introducing My Miami Tat!!

Don't know why it took me so long to post this but I got a new tattoo while in Miami! Its something I wanted for a long time but didnt have the cash or time to get it done. Just so happens our friends roommate has a tattoo artist that comes and does his at his house and he was coming that night. I looked at his work and he gave me a price I couldn't refuse so I went for it. My inspiration is fetish model Apnea. She has the same tat on her thigh. I always wanted a hip / thigh tattoo cause its relatively hidden and I just think its uber sexy. THis piece took 6 hours of work and took 2 days to complete. I had no choice but to do it in 2 days since I was only on vacation and prolly not going back to Miami until January or so. He basically took a piece of paper, put it up against my leg and drew the design out. I plan on getting the same design or something very similar on the other hip when I go back. These flowers are hyacinths and I want cherry blossoms on the other side.

That damn cold water stung like hell! This was the first night when we just did the outline.and yes that is my drink in the back.

Leggings with Short Shirts...A Fashion Do or Don't??

If you follow me on Twitter yesterday you would have seen my Tweet about "pulling an Amber Rose and wearing leggings with a shirt that barely covers my booty". I swore I was hot shit until my mom said "You know you're supposed to wear a shirt that covers you're behind, short shirts are a major don't". And then she had the nerve to say I had too much thighs to wear it that way! Although she's no Anna Wintour I generally value her fashion advice. I think this whole "showing the booty while wearing leggings" thing is a recent phenomena and can be contributed to the likes of Amber Rose and Nicki Minaj who made it popular to show off your assets.

I consider myself to have a mid sized booty. I could use a lil more but I definitely have some junk in the trunk and I love showing it off with leggings. Makes me feel like I have a lot more than I really have! Now Nicki and Amber are working with a lot more than me and able to pull it of flawlessly. My only qualm would be if you don't have ANY booty, or it's a saggy sack of potatoes to forgoe bringing attention to it with leggings.

You may also have noticed the whole 80's leggings trend is resurrecting with crazy patterns and neon colors. Why be limited to just long shirts that cover up your statement piece?

The moral of the story is if you got a donk, feel free to rock your leggings with pride cause the trend aint going no where.

Im finally getting back into the groove of things after my gorgeous Miami vacation. I swear everytime I go there I just want to set up a tent on the beach and stay there forever. More photos to come once my friend decides to upload her pics to Facebook.

I packed about 5 pairs of leggings cause they are compact, don't wrinkle and super easy to pack. These snake skin print ones are from Express, paired with plain black tee and a necklace I picked up at Express. Bag is my trusty Juicy Couture and sandals are Report.

My birthday was October 24th and this is what I wore out that night. Skirt H&M, top Charlotte Russe, gloves Claires..This outfit made me feel like a badass..I think it was the gloves.

Drinking coconut batidas at the ultra posh Mondrian..How posh you say?? Take a look at what they sell in the vending machine..

After the Mondrian we went to Space and I was so drunk off my ass I was in my own little world. Random dudes was trying toe with me but I kept beating them off with a stick. Don't mess up my flow! My friend got a bottle of Hennessy, I picked up my absolut favorite Cafe Patron and also abttle of Ab assolut 100. Our boy DJ Brey contributed too well as a few of his friends. The amount of alcohol was ridiculous. As a matter of fact I still have a bottle of Absolut in my luggage. The night ended with us walking around downtown Miami trying to find our car for 45 minutes while a homeless person followed us asking my friend for money and asking if I had any panties on, and some random Nicaraguan guy picked me up and carried me to the car. A good birthday if I do say so myself...

Sorry I've been MIA lately with the blog posts. My finance project has been kicking my butt and I'm getting ready to go to Miami on Tuesday (woohoo). My best friend had a birthday party along with 2 others and the these was "black and white". Now most of the females wore black dresses so I refused to pull one of them out of my closet. Went to the mall and picked up this outfit. Leggings and shirt from Express and jacket from Charlotte Russe. Now I have plenty of black skirts at home and my intentions were to only purchase a top but you know how that goes. Once I saw these leggings I had to have them. And usually I wouldn't put together two snakeskin prints but the print in the pants are subtle enough to pull this look off. When I told my mom what I was wearing on the phone she already warned me about becoming a Glamour "Don't".

I love Nicki Minaj's look from the Hip Hop awards last week. Besides her insane style her music is absolutely bananas! She calls herself the Black Harajuku Barbie and mixes the typical candy colored Barbie style with a touch of urban street appeal. Loves it...Ya'll know I have a love affair with any piece of clothing exposing flesh via slashes and this look is pretty simple to recreate. You can slash the leggings yourself, throw on a fitted leather jacket (and a fitted black shirt if you're not ready to bare the tatas) and some knee high boots. Pair with a bold statement necklace and a wide belt. More of her looks to come...

I know this isn't the clearest picture but I did my nails last night. I used Pink Parka from the Essie Fall Cuddle Colletion and did the stripes with Art Club nail polish. Its 2 white stripes with glitter in the middle. Hotness...

Looks easy but I'm sure I'll somehow mess it up lol. It kinda reminds me of the old school airbrush you get at the ghetto nail salons (don't act like you never had your nails airbrushed!).
