Hey long time no see. This time I present an illustration for the Spanish Army, on the takeoff of an F-18 of an aircraft carrier. The intention here was to create a moving painting, is the time when the "shooter" give the signal to trigger the propeller that helps the game to take off in such a short trip, is like a space out giant slingshot.

Jose

This is a test for a producer of video games, looking for concept artists. In the test call for a design based on a soldier photographs they provide. They seek atistas Free-Lance. Do you think that you would like? I hang this picture to make a reflection. When you make a building freely, I mean that does not obey any order or condition, it's easier when someone gives you a pautas.Y course the more complicated patterns or more conditions is that the result is to your liking. But it appeals to me this way of working especially as it involves in itself a challenge where you have to combine the constraints imposed by the client, your personal taste and style, not to mention the time and money factor is always present . I think it's a fascinating discussion and we can find artists working in any of these directions or even both. How important it is that excites you the way you work, whatever it is. Jose

Hello again, here I present the ultimate challenge.
ENTERTAINMENT REZLAB The company proposed the design of a super hero or in this case a super heroine, the truth is that the super heroes has never been my forte, but I throw it like a new experience.
The company gave a series of basic requirements for design. One was that the suit could make it a dressmaker, and the colors were red and black, basically.
Well, I made several sketches and once I was clear, I dove in to make it beautiful and realistic.
The result was i got it to the finals, along with that then would be the winner.
Having come so far is for me a triumph, a triumph that I share with you all.
Hope you like.

See you soon

Mención de Honor PREMIOS DE PINTURA DEL EJERCITO DEL AIRE

2011-10-08T11:36:00.001-05:00

As you know I have given an Honorable Mention in the Painting Prize of the Air Force.
It was really unexpected, but very nice indeed, I have traveled to the capital of the kingdom to receive that indication in an act as is typical military.
We will make a notch on our gun.

Matte Painting

2011-09-06T13:40:00.001-05:00

In the film currently used the "Matte Painting" for specific frames, usually general views, where illustrators create rooms, either from photographs retouched, either fully drawn.
Sometimes they have several layers, and when the camera takes a "traveling", the image gives the illusion of depth.
Here you hang a sample of a sample I made for a project.

Cambiando el estilo

2011-06-02T14:16:00.000-06:00

These days I plan to try different styles.
The truth is that it is not easy because you get used to always paint in a way, call it intuitive and go from there is difficult.
I have tried to prevail on the color drawing, I show the original drawings in pencil.
It is inspired by a photo taken from the network

A greeting will be more stuff soon.

Proceso Pintando al Caballero

2011-05-08T03:36:00.000-06:00

Here I show the painting process in a few pictures for you to see how easy it is.
There are already thousands of artists around the world usingdigital technology.
It's fast, clean and allows you to ask different solutions in ashort space of time, which, from the commercial point of viewvery quickly.
If you are interested in the future I can you comment on some aspects that I have in mind when drawing and painting.

Usually when you tell people you paint with your computer, often have a reaction of skepticism, even one dares to make a comment such as, well but that has to be very difficult, you scan a photo and then the "fotosop" that , do what you want.
And one that is a few years, and who was not born just yesterday, I am reminded of earlier times, when it became fashionable airbrushes and personal computers did not exist.
And people like to discuss things about these devices, which little more than paint alone.
And the truth is that both the former and in turn revolutionized the world, with formidable tools and open fields that were far more complex.
While it is true that a tool makes it easy to work and allows them to more quickly resolve many processes of creating a work, this anger towards other areas to investigate that so far there was no possibility of an issue as trivial in art as is the execution time
Well, since then the computer can do interesting things, but certainly still belongs to the creative artist.
In a few days will hang an example of the process of creating this illustration, on the other hand I think there is nothing particular, except that instead of putting the colors on paper or canvas, these are virtual, and are represented in a monitor using pixels. Otherwise I think there is much difference, except that it does not smell and does not stain ...
What would these men of old when someone created the oil paintings? How many opponents did you have?

Te quiero papa.

2011-03-02T16:01:00.002-05:00

I embarked on several projects that have emerged. And this has led to a collapse on my agenda. This is the reason I take so long if you hang anything on the blog.
I hang this is something that began long ago and I've been putting off until I finished it,which surprisingly has been more busy when I am.
It's very personal because it is a tribute to my father who died three years ago.
I've always been very proud of him and hope he is now about me.
I've put a lot of love and I think he has helped me in some way.
I have also asked my son Mario opinion three years, which is much more artistic than me. And he said that, verbatim, "OK, Dad. " So I think this is reason enough to hang itand share it with everyone.
A kiss Daddy.

Batallón de Caballería Florián Gayer

2010-09-13T12:16:00.004-06:00

Hi all again.
After this long hot summer we return to the load.
Here I show you an illustration, for lovers of military history of the twentieth century.
It is a remake of German soldiers Cavalry Battalion Florian Gayer, is not corrected may still have some error, which of course will be resolved.
The illustration is done by computer and a Wacom tablet (do not charge advertising, for now ...). For now I keep squeezing this technique is impressive, investigating different brushes and effects. Someday we'll talk about this.
For fans of the blog, say that the film in which we were not doing any project finally came, it was the design of some scenery, and natural locations resolved. So maybe next time.
Well I hope your comments are always grateful and if you have any questions do not hesitate to ask.
I have planned many interesting things, something is due is a series of drawings of fantastic creatures in pencil, which I really feel like enough. The problem as I see him put it on the blog, since by scanner does not give me very good result, when it comes to pens, well the truth is that I have much experience in, if any of you have do not hesitate to share it.

Regards to all.

Today I'm bored, and when this happens I can not concentrate. The result is a quick and hasty drawing.
When this happens in my head a brilliant idea, but as I'm making progress with the drawing I realize that to make something really good is to take your time and especially hard work.
So in this case even though the picture is not very fast for my liking.
Well tomorrow is another day.
A greeting
