I really don’t have much to add, except there will be another page on Thursday, then one on Saturday and another Sunday (double page spread). I can say this as they are drawn and everything.

Won’t pretend I missed the weekend update I predicted. It was this, that, the other. Which has led me to commit to Tuesday first and then add in more updates as I can.

So the Stumptown Comics Fest was swell, even if I did walk away with a stomach bug as a souvenir. I met alot of swell people that reinforced my enthusiasm for comics, the reading and doing of them. And I had the assistance of the most lively booth babe you ever did see, if a bit random in her approach of helping.

And the Spring Clean Sale is over—I was pleased that a couple folks took advantage of my update delay to snatch up their favorite page. I found it interesting which pages people chose to adopt and the stories some shared as to why. Many of the pages I have a special fondness for I don’t think of as show stoppers by any means. (There is one I’m actually hanging onto for myself, a rare admittance that I like my any of my own art.)And I should note that there will be no “original art” after Book 1 as I’ve gone totally digital. I struggled with that, being a collector of comic art, but, late appearances to the contrary, I really work much faster by doing so.

The art as its own will be available to purchase after I figure out the prices. I will also be updating the store with a couple of items I previewed at Stumptown later today, prints and pins.

And there will be another page this weekend. (No, really.)

The sale in a nutshell: when you buy a print edition of Book 1 : Wander, you get to select a piece of original page art free! Plus, art prints of Dicebox pages are half priced at $10.00 USD! Both deals are good until end of day of May 1st 2012 (Maybe the beginning middle of May 2nd, depends when I post the next page).

Since I’ve been asked a few times, I’ll happily sell art without a book, but it’ll be no cheaper; after the sale I will list whatever art there is left for sale by itself and the price per page will start at $25 and go up from there. You may certainly buy art now and note that you don’t want a book or would rather have an art print of the page instead. Or do what others have–give the extra books as gifts.

This will the art of a new postcard and print both of which will be available at the Stumptown Comics Fest this coming weekend on April 28th and 29th. I’ll be sharing Table B-14 with Kip Manley and we’ll be flanked by Barry Deutsch on one side and Dylan Meconis on the other. (Here, Bill helpfully marked up a map.)
