I had the honor to be the photographer for this amazing benefit event in support of the Elle Foundation.
The mission of the ELLE Foundation is to grant second wishes for children with a recurrence of cancer and to create memories of joy for children battling cancer. Thefoundation was created in memory of “ELLE” Elizabeth Richmond.
This incredible charity event was organized by Avant-Garde Boutique, Studio Verve in conjunction with Elle Foundation.
So many people came together to celebrate and donate for this cause that it made the night even more special. We all have heard before that losing a child is the worst pain that a parent can experience in their lives; turning that into something positive is just beautiful and corageous.
The Richmond family shared the attendees a heart breaking slideshow containing some of Elle’s most precious moments. Seeing this presentation and the pictures of Elle made every one be so thankful and glad of being there helping with this great cause. As a father is hard to imaging the very difficult times a family must go through with one of their own in such condition. However, knowing that it only takes a grain of sand to be part of something so meaningful is gratifying and inspiring.

At 2 months old, this handsome and smiley baby is growing up pretty fast! Baby pictures are always cute. This very enamored Mom brought her little man to my Studio (located in New Jersey NJ) to get his very first professional baby pictures done. They both did great!
After a good initial cry out, he was ready to give us his best posing and cutest giggles, I was able to capture the essence of this sweet boy once he got comfortable.
Newborn portraits and Baby pictures in general are made around their nap and feeding time. Whether is at the Studio or On location( I am based in Northern new Jersey and NYC), you can use a variety of outfits to get the most of your photo shoot.

Our Maternity Session at Bryant Park – Maternity Photographers NYC

The Fun of a Mini Session – Hoboken Children Photographers

Mini photography sessions are perfect for many occasions, engagement and maternity and definitely for Children. To get the most of a Portrait session, try to get there ahead of time so kids can acclimate to the location and feel it’s more of an activity than something they “have to do”.
These cousins spend a lot of time together and came prepared for a picnic! We scheduled the Portrait Session around that and got the exact essence of lifestyle photography, capturing true genuine moments and smiles in images.
The location is important; choosing the right park with nice views etc. But capturing the right expressions that translate to your Kid’s personality is where my job really relays. I photograph a fair amount of Families and Children in Hoboken, New Jersey (NJ). After Hurricane Sandy, many places were severely affected and kept shut for months. The resilient town has put a lot of effort to bring all those places back to life and satisfy their community. If you follow the town of Hoboken on Facebook ( Hoboken, NJ official site), you can witness the progress as well.
For this session, we picked the Elysian Park in Hoboken. It was a perfect spot for what we had in mind. A good portrait lasts forever. Hiring a professional photographer for your portrait sessions makes it all worth. Many of my recurrent clients value this investment as a treasure.

Le Petite Ballerina Impromptu NYC Portrait Session

During a recent Newborn portrait session in New York City, I had the opportunity of meeting this lovely ballerina. Girls Portrait sessions are easy in the sense that they all like to play princess or dancers!
This gorgeous girl had the perfect outfit with a beautiful pair of pointe shoes. On location portrait sessions are convenient; all the props are a step away and with New York City views and amazing natural lighting, the mini session went amazing. My pretty model had everything to do with it!
Growing up in the City, you never know…one day we may see her performing at NYC ballet or at fashion week in Lincoln Center.
