<p><strong>1) Crash diets and fasting make you lose weight the fastest</strong></p>
<p><span id="more-35"></span>Whilst true in the short term these methods do not take into account the lean muscle tissue you will also lose in the process. What we need to concentrate on is sustained fat loss and maintaining or building muscle. Creating a healthier, sexier silhouette when looking in the mirror and trying on clothes.</p>
<p>Many women have &#8216;issues&#8217; surrounding building muscle and rest assured it&#8217;s actually quite difficult to make your body look anything like a female bodybuilder. Lean muscle tissue increases coincide with increased metabolic rate. Crash diets and fasting can lower you metabolic rate, tricking your body into a near hibernation and the moment you return your normal food your weight piles right back on. See where the cycles starts all over again?</p>
<p><strong>2) Fruit should provide no part of a weight loss plan</strong></p>
<p>Ever seen a fat monkey? Yes fruits contain natural sugars, but they also contain high levels of soluble fibre. In an effort to lower diabetic&#8217;s blood sugar levels doctor can sometimes add soluble fibre (usually in a isolated supplementation form) to their patient&#8217;s diet. You think crunches are the key to their success? I&#8217;ve seen fellow personal trainers with incredible abdominal muscles and they don&#8217;t even DO isolated ab exercises. But I hear you &#8216;So come on tell me how to lose belly fat!!&#8217; The key to sustained fat loss is eating a clean, unprocessed diet and full body exercises with a raised heart rate and a focus on great performance of the exercise with high intensity. Doing loads of abs exercises may build stronger abs but not reduce the amount of fat covering them nor that surround your hips, thighs or assist in lifting your bingo wings. Get the drift?</p>
<p><strong>5) Diet soft drinks are essential if I want to still have some fun</strong></p>
<p>Recent science has actually shown that the artificial sweeteners used in diet sodas and the like can surprisingly lead to increased weight by increasing your body&#8217;s demand for glucose. The Purdue group study that began in 2004 has shown that &#8220;sugar-fed rats, for example, showed the expected uptick in core body temperature at mealtime, corresponding to their anticipation of a bolus of calories that they would need to start burning off — a sort of metabolic revving of the energy engines. The saccharin-fed animals, on the other hand, showed no such rise in temperature.&#8221;</p>

<p>Again you want to be concentrating on clean, natural, unprocessed food. I honestly don&#8217;t think that a can of colours, sweeteners and isolated nutrients added to fool you into a sense that they can actually be good for you is where the key to fast weight loss lies. I know a gazillion ways to make my life &#8216;fun&#8217; without the need of them.</p>
<p><strong>6) Liposuction. Come on.. they&#8217;ll never know!</strong></p>
<p>Dangers of surgical procedures aside, your body stores fat wherever there are fat cells. Suck them out with cosmetic surgery and still not change your lifestyle of gorging on freshly baked carrot cake and the excess energy has to still be stored somewhere. Start thinking around your internal organs or at the very least areas the surgeon didn&#8217;t go over. Sounds like a recipe for disaster no matter what way you look it.</p>
<p><strong>7) Scientific breakthroughs in medicine have meant new diet pills launched on the market have been helping people lose weight long term.</strong></p>
<p>You&#8217;d better pack a nappy/diaper with their recognised side effects of uncontrollable anal discharges! It&#8217;s also been shown these kinds of drugs can mess with your absorption of ESSENTIAL fats and the fatty soluble vitamins to go along with them. Mess with nature and mother nature will kick you right back in your soiled knickers. I know let&#8217;s move quickly along to the last one. It&#8217;s a doozy!</p>
<p><strong>8.) Caffeine will increase my weightloss</strong></p>
<p>In fact caffeine increases stress levels making you all jittery. But like any drug addict sticking with it long enough will mean you need more to induce that effect. Caffeine will also increase cortisol levels which actually increase stored fat levels. Especially around the stomach. It will also induce hypoglycemia (a condition that will give you a perceived DROP in energy) which in turn will have you reaching for highly concentrated forms of calories even with as much willpower as you can muster. Stop messing with your hormone levels and start cutting back.</p>

<p>So what did you think? The Youtube page is full of pretty bad comments about her body but we all know that&#8217;s probably an indication of how low they feel in themselves. The video purposely makes Ada look all weird and when she sorts the posture out she looks fabulous. Of course. But did it it work for you? Did you see a difference? Stick in a comment below.</p>
<p>In my career as a personal trainer it&#8217;s the major thing I also focus on first. Posture. Getting your structure strong and balanced also helps prevent injury while exercising, going about your daily life and especially as the years go by. We can see very rapid changes in a person&#8217;s overall stature with relatively small changes. Very soon these little changes add up to a consistent lifestyle change that makes people go &#8216;WOW! What have you been doing? You look GREAT!&#8217;</p>
