But something has got to give when you've got around 8 stones to loose and quick is my game at the mo. Well until I lose at least 5 stones, then I'll be happy to munch on other water type substitutes. reckon i'll be used to starving then. I must say that fruit has always made me feel hungry after, unless I eat a load of bananas, n then its indigestion instead lol.

There's no going back...you are about to start losing weight long term. No matter at what rate the weight comes off, if you stick with these attitudes, it is coming off! Your next K10!

I must admit, I too had to scratch my head. She is a little teeny thing. I may have my numbers wrong, so I will ask again to clarify.

I weighed myself this morning. Although the scale only shows I lost 0.3 pounds (WOW! - this is actually pretty amazing after all I ate over the weekend.) I can certainly feel the difference in inches. I will keep everything up with the hopes that the weightloss will kick back in.

I heard Dr. Ian on the radio this morning. I may switch up and try the 4 day diet at the beginning of August. I am thinking if this might help. My husband and I leave for a cruise on 8/21. My goal is to lose at least another 15 pounds. We plan to try for another baby by the beginning of September!

ALL DIETERS READ THIS.
OK OK the diet does make you lose weight & fast i know i have been on it. But the soups taste like crap, shakes are like drinking your own sick but yesi admit the pounds came off. But realistically this no matter what anyone says is un healthy. I have trained my mind to not eat solids in the day apart from a little fruit (pears & apples) to make you go so to speak & i have a couple of slimfast shakes which when cold remind me of a mcdonald yummy.
At night either a nice prawn or chicken salad & for nibbling at night more fruit. Thats a far more healthier diet than starving yourself & you will be surprised how full you feel. I also gave this diet up because my counsellor was next to useless, she reminded me of Bubbles from Little Britain, the fat cow. Let me know what you all think & remember if it taste like crap then it is.

A Major Sign of Success

The other day, a good friend confided in me that if she could get away with eating McDonald's French fries and chicken nuggets for every meal - with no effect - she would. Every meal. This brought our discussion to "If you could eat any food and it had no effect on your weight or health, what would your indulgence be?"

I thought about it for a long time, and eventually told her I couldn't think of anything. Truthfully, the things coming to mind were avocados, veggie stir fries, or fruit salad. FRUIT SALAD! That's it - that's my one thing.

SUCCESS: I'm not even interested in unhealthy foods any more! It feels so much better to eat well. That's my sign of success.

What would your one food be?

DON'T YOU KIND OF FEEL LIKE THIS.....MOST OF THE TIME. THEN AGAIN I NEVER DID LIKE STUFF LIKE MCDONALDS.....BUT SUGAR AND CHOCOLATE BAD STUFF.

Debbie M......I don't think it is flippant for you to say "Death by Chocolate"......but I do think it would of been hurtful to the those who grieved his death to read that as the headline. I did look it up and one site had a scene from Willy Wonka where a kid was immersed in a vat of chocolate........that was the picture on the news story.....not too sensitive, eh!!!! I have to tell you though that I think I will use it as a visual in my mind whenever I am tempted......I will also tell myself that chocolate often has gross things in it. My aunt never ate chocolate and she swore that she heard they had to be pulling mice and rats from the vats on a regular basis. She also said there was an allowable amount of mice hair (you know USDA approved) in big vats of chocolate. Geesh how could I eat that stuff......I may be cured (oh I do hope) and I hope I haven't totally grossed you all out Now I need to do some research to help you feel totally appalled at your cake Debbie. Of course that is unnecessary as you said it all with "I don't want to get fatter again". That is really the best motivator (but I am keeping the gross chocolate stuff in mind as well

I am in my 5th week of SS and at my last weigh in I had lost a total of 27lbs. All was going really well until I feel ill a few days ago, I woke up in the morning after an evening of vomiting and runny tum, feeling weak and achy, I felt I needed to eat to put back wot I had lost so have cheated a bit by eating. I am hoping that i have not gained any weight at my next weigh in. Have just had a Broccoli n cheese soup, that tasted foul. Will keep posting progress apparently I am going to start feeling how I did when I first Started 5 weeks ago, but am ok today.
