			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Latin American author, anti-aging expert, and nutrition guru, Rene Endara, announced the release of his new diet book, Honesty, Love, and Science: The Human Diet, which provides an easy-to-follow roadmap to prevent obesity, type 2 diabetes, and cancer without any artificial supplements. This 60-page reference guide details the lifestyle changes one needs in order to take control of their health destiny.</p>
<p>In the book, Endara defines what he means by the “Human Diet”, a combination of eating habits and psychological thought patterns that depart from what he considers the “failed” diet plans of the past. “The goal of the book is to strike a healthy balance of the right types of proteins, carbohydrates, and fats,” said Endara. “Fad diets, which promise instant weight loss, and extreme diets, which severely restrict fat or carbohydrates, dismiss the way the body responds to unusual diet habits.”</p>
<p>Endara attributes the rise of obesity coinciding with the rise of fad diets to outdated concepts. He cites that the continuous push among dieters to lace diets with supplements and complex carbohydrates, such as whole grain, only slows the drive towards disease. He notes that these substances may fair better than processed sugar and high fructose corn syrup, but still leave behind the footprints of digestive complications.</p>
<p>He backs his arguments with what he calls cutting-edge science. He notes that our genetic makeup has been shaped by 2.3 million years of human evolution. However, he warns that the modern diet is governed by foods introduced during the agricultural and industrial revolution, which depart from our genetic destiny. He says this is indicated by the rise of type 2 diabetes, obesity, high blood pressure, and high cholesterol.</p>
<p>His premise is that the internal biological processes at work cannot be reduced to a simple equation solved by instant weight loss programs. He stresses that the body is influenced by multiple factors, including frequency and duration of food intake, metabolic rate, and food quantity and type, all of which are critical components neglected by calorie calculators, strict diets, and diets that underplay certain foods, such as carbohydrates.</p>
<p>He says sustainable weight loss can be achieved by listening to what he considers the language of the body. Certain foods derail the hunger hormones, which signal to the brain a need for additional energy. Hence, by eating the right foods, according to Endara, the individual develops a sense of fullness without slipping into a cycle of overeating.</p>
<p>A big shift from other dietary guides is the absence of any kind of starchy food in Endara&#8217;s diet. He believes that, while starch masquerades as a healthy food choice, it is in reality a trojan horse, which unleashes a tirade of digestive complications. From processed grains to whole grains, Endara outlines the health hazards associated with any kind of starch, including whole grains, beans, and legumes.</p>
<p>Rather than exasperating core bodily functions, such as digestion, for minor nutritional gain, Endara outlines what he believes are the foods that will maximize metabolic and digestive efficiency, with no adverse effect to the body. These include proteins rich in essential amino acids, omega-3 fats, and green leafy vegetables. </p>
<p>While some diets dismiss the role of exercise, &#8220;Honesty, Love, and Science&#8221; emphasizes that it is a critical part of the equation to sustainable weight loss and metabolic efficiency. With over 30 years of fitness training experience and success in numerous bodybuilding competitions, Endara provides his personal insights and advice on how to incorporate both aerobic and anaerobic exercise into a tight schedule.
