So picking stock is always the challenge I have some favorites.
Mostly I look for long lasting companies with a good Dividend Yield so I know my money is going to grow over time.

As a continuing long term group they have a consistent track record of success.

OK most recently I have been doing some investing in the market AGAIN.

Little history back in the early 2000's I was investing in the market just planning for the future some "safe Stock" and some High risk High reward stock. Then the market took a dump I lost thousands and I was very discouraged my savings for the future almost gone and I mean like a 10th of what I had. So I pulled it all out.

Fast forward about 15 years and I am getting older working some crappy jobs with very little to no retirement money I needed to make some choices. Back to the market I go but so safe my money wasn't growing and I couldn't invest the way I wanted the stock I would like to buy was out of reach and the stock I could buy was not worth a long term Investment to make 3 cents over 20 years "No Thanks"

I started small using different online tools and adding just $25 each month slowly saving for AT&T or Netflix. soon I had a good group of stock and realized I had cash just sitting there doing nothing so I started exploring Partial Shares this way all my money was working for me I set up an M1 Finance account and start an auto investment plan of just $100 a month that auto invested after the funds became available.

This has been a lofe saver for me I set everything up and just let it go. I try not to check it to much since the market is always all over the place. My small investments have been paying off with a average 4% return weekly I can not complain.

Last few days I have seen a lot of changes in businesses around me and it's just a sign of the times. People are getting layer off and lots of the people I work with are scared. But the truth is put your head down and charge if we give up know it's over.

Writers Block

So life has been kind of boring and I have Writers Block so I need to read some books watch some movies and play some video games to get rid of this block.

Been a super long week and its time to sit back relax and move forward.

When you get into the blocked stages of writing a few good things I suggest is take time off. relaxe the mind. Play with your kids if you have them, the Dog/Cat if you got one. or read a good book. TV is so out I find that TV kills the creative juices in the mind because there is no thought process.

Drinking game for Super Mario 3

So I'm sitting around playing Super Mario 3 on the Wii after we down loaded it. I have just been introduced to a great drinking game

Power up = Drink
Power Down = Drink
Die = Drink
Beat the Level = Drink
Beat the board = Drink based on the Stage (IE Stage 6 means drink 6 times.)

Whole cow if you haven't played the game in a long time and your not used to the controller then yopur done level 2 is an hour into the game and there isn't much after that.

Ok so your hungry need some food and there is a limit to your budget.
the $2.50 you scrounged up in the car, the house, ask the guy next door for some spare coins, the pockets of dirty laundry were ever.
List of ingredients
2 packages of roman noodles about 60 cents (any flavor your get ride of the flavor any way)
1 can STORE BRANDED tomato sauce 80 cents
1 Hard roll about 50 cents
1 Can store brand soda 35 cents
Running total $2.25 ($2.50 hopefully after tax but you should be right there.)

OK the add-on. this is were you need a fast food place
go in get your self some of that free salt and pepper and ask for some butter cuz you like it with your french fries.

Now that we have all are prep stuff
Cook up the roman pure all the water out warm up the sauce in the pan with your roman since if your making this meal I'm hopping you have 1 pan to cook it in.
and salt, pepper.
Butter your roll and sit down with your can of soda and your "spaghetti"
Enjoy your dinner.

Choosing a Wireless Router can some times lead to some confusion. Range speed and conectivity all play a big role in the desision making process.
First things first what are you conecting.
With the Wireless world we live in to day don't just settle for the cheap on.
most of us have about 5 devices that we conect to the internet with not including our Desk top
and Laptops our.Our Smart Phones, Game Systems, DVD Players, Roku Plyer all conect wirelessly to the internet.
When you conect all these devices to the internet you will start to see your conection start slowing down. When video streaming from Netflix or Hulu huge problem if your bandwith is being used with all the other devices your video quality will go down and you may experiance choppy video. NO FUN.

So look for an Dual Band N Router you get the furthest ranges and fastest speeds. They also can handle multiple connections better then most of the other devices out there.

Google Contact sync from your phone. Daily auto sync turned on
Picasa Web Albums - To save your pictures to
www.Youtube.com/ account for your Videos.
Also a great thing would be to sync your Facebook or Myspace account because it will pull the numbers and contacts to your Gmail.com account.

So we all find ourselves in that moment when we fell like there isn't any thing we can do to change the moment. Here is were we are all wrong. Take a step back from our own lives and look were you want to be. Take the chance and go for it maybe slow at first then when not if you put the right effort in things will take off for you and there are no limits to the potential. Now go out do what you like and what you want the best you can and better then everyone else.

The Book Men- Joanne Sahlender

Men!: young or old, they're all the same.

So this book was about some life experiences Joanne had with the men in her life. This book is a good read for men or women. Women probably think Been there. Men however will sit there and think I'm not that bad I would never do that and I have never done that. Right there I started laughing because I realized that's exactly what she was talking about.

So if your looking for a good laugh of a serious moment to say I'm not like that and even I would never say that. Read it!!!

Green Lantern 3D

This Movie was asome saw itlast night and wasn't realy sure what to expect. I've always been a Green Lantern Hal Jordan fan. Hal Jordan was the greatest Green Lantern ever. The Movie was filled with Action right from the beginning. Of corse there were those moments when you were like come on and then things started to happen. They defiantly stayed to the story line the best you can when cramming 30+ years of development into 2 hr. I highly recommend going to see this film if your a comic fan or not. My wife even enjoyed it.

The Transformers - The Movie (See all Animated Science Fiction Movies & TV)

The 1986 Animated release of this movie was one of the greatest experiences of my life. Early every morning and right after school every day I was watching the Transformers cartoon. I couldn't wait to go see the Movie and on release day I was there. Months later it came out on VHS yes I'm that old and DVD didn't exist yet. The only place I was able to get to see it was the local Video rental place unite they went out of business for years after that and into my 20's I hunted to find a copy of the movie I went as far as ordering it from Canada (that was a mistake worst copy ever). About 10 years ago a friend of mine found a copy at a local flee market and gave it to me for my birthday that year. Then a year later it was out on DVD and I saw it every were. and I ended up with 10 copies and glad to have them.

Life lesson if you want it it will come.

Linux hunting

If your like most people you probably use a version of Microsoft Windows (See all Windows 7 Operating System) or Mac OS (See all Mac Computer Operating Systems)

Wouldn't it be nice if there was something out there that would let you freely customize what your computer does and runs. Well there is LINUX and there are like 100 versions of it.

So the real question is witch one is right for you.
Ubuntu Linux (See all Software Development Books) is the most popular out there right now and has a huge amount of support making it great for the average user to switch and try it out.

But if your afraid of wiping out what you know Linux Puppy is a great alternative you load it onto a flash drive and boot straight to it when you end your session you can save the changes you made and reboot into your good old faithful OS and be on your way. There isn't as much support but since Linux at the core is all pretty much the same a little research you'll be able to figure it out and booting it from a flash drive all the changes are temporary.

Movie Review Blood Feud.

In the early 2000 ish the film Blood Feud was started. then some years later production began and a good friend of mine asked me to be in it and instantly I was the sarcastic guy that dies right away.(Good thing I'm a Really bad Actor) The film is about 4 friends that encounter some vampires and well you would have to watch it.
For the budget the film had and the lack of on screen talent after many years of pain stacking waiting and the youngest actor graduating Collage soon it is pretty good I own a copy of it well I had to have a film I was in.

If your into the low budget films that don't completely suck check out Blood Feud from Evil Kat Productions.
