Basically if you go over with your data allowance (and it's not capped thanks to i.e Red Sharer) you will be charged £6.50 extra for every 250mb, but extra 1GB or 2GB is added to your personal allowance when you decide to buy it so in this case you will not be charged £6.50.

From the economical point of view it makes more sense to buy extra 2GB because it only costs you £10... when going over 2GB extra with your data would simply cost you around £53.

You can input your Vodafone mobile number after prompted when using the Landline phone option or if issues exist where the IVR System will not recognise the mobile number then you can opt to ignore the initial prompts to type in the mobile number, and then on approx the 4th request it should then change to ask to input 1 for Payg or 2 for Contract Customers.

From the home screen:

    Tap the Menu button
    Tap Settings
    Tap Wireless and networks or More... (depending on your version of Android)
    Tap Mobile Networks
    Tap Access point names
    Tap the Menu button
    Tap New APN
    Enter the following data into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings;

An iPhone usually sets up APNs automatically, but if you need to enter them manually, here's how.

From the home screen:

On BlackBerry 10 devices, the internet APN and MMS APN settings are entered in different places.

From the home screen:

    Swipe down from the top edge of the screen

How to connect a windows phone to Vodafone mobile internet
----------------------------------------------------------

Getting your Windows Phone device online can be a challenge when it comes to putting the settings in manually but don’t worry, the guide below will help you get up and running on the mobile web in no time.

There are some differences in the settings between Windows Phone 8.1 and it's predecessors, Windows Phone 7/7.5/7.8 and Windows Phone 8, so we will look at these separately.
Windows Phone 8.1

From the home screen:

    Swipe your finger from right to left across the screen to access the Apps list.
    Find and tap on the Settings icon.
    Scroll down this list until you find cellular + SIM or Mobile + SIM, then press on it to continue.
    Make sure your Data connection is set to On, then scroll down and tap on SIM settings.
    At the bottom of the SIM settings page you should find buttons to allow you to edit internet APN and edit MMS APN. Tap on edit Internet APN to modify your internet connection settings. (Please note: On some handsets these buttons are not in the SIM settings page. If this is the case, go back to the main settings menu and tap on access point which will then allow you to edit the APN settings as described in the Windows Phone 8 section below).
    Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings:
    APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
    User name - web (PAYG - wap)
    Password - web (PAYG - wap)
    Press the Save button to save and quit this screen. The save icon looks like a floppy disk, for those of us who remember them!
    Now select edit MMS APN.
    Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings:
    APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
    Username - web (PAYG - wap)
    Password - web (PAYG - wap)
    WAP gateway (URL) - 212.183.137.12
    WAP gateway port - 8799
    MMSC (URL) - http://mms.vodafone.co.uk/servlets/mms
    (As a check, the image below shows blue text in the fields you should have completed)
    Press the Save button at the bottom of the page to save and quit this screen.
    You should now see 4G, 3G, H, E or G on the top line of the display, next to the signal bars. This indicates you are connected to the data network

Windows Phone 8
-----------------------

From the home screen:

    Swipe across the screen to bring up the apps list
    Open the Settings app
    Tap Mobile network and ensure the data connection is switched on
    Go back to the apps list, scroll down and tap on Settings
    Tap on Access point
    If your network name is showing in the list, tap it to make it active, otherwise tap add
    Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings;
    Connection name - Vodafone Internet
    Internet APN:
    Access point name - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)
    Username - web (PAYG - wap)
    Password - web (PAYG - wap)
    MMS APN:

    Tap the right arrow or swipe across the screen to access the apps list
    Tap Settings
    Tap Mobile network
    Tap Add apn
    Enter the following settings into the onscreen form, without changing any other settings;
    Name - Vodafone Internet
    Vodafone APN Windows Phone 7.5Tick the box to make this the default APN (if option exists)
    Internet APN:
    APN - internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk)

How to connect a Nokia feature phone to Vodafone mobile internet
------------------------------------------------------------

Setting up new APN settings manually isn’t particularly common, and the area we need to work on is buried a little deeper in the handset than other settings. There are separate settings that have to be entered for internet and MMS APNs, just be careful to enter the right information in the right section!

From the home screen:

    Tap Menu
    Tap Configuration
    Tap Personal settings
    Tap Options
    Tap Add new
    Tap Web
    Tap Account name, enter Vodafone Internet and tap OK

    Tap Use pref. acc. pt. and tap No
    Tap Acc point sett.
    Tap Bearer settings
    Tap Pack. data acc. pt., enter internet (PAYG - pp.vodafone.co.uk) and tap OK
    Tap Username, enter web (PAYG - wap) and tap OK
    Tap Password, enter web (PAYG - wap) and tap OK
    Tap Back three times
    Press and hold your finger on the Vodafone Internet name and tap Activate
    Tap Back

    Tap Back twice to return to the home screen
    You should now see 3G, H, E or G in the top left corner of the screen. This indicates your handset is connecting to the internet.

Microsoft, over the years has been a pioneer in providing OS. Being a leader it has attracted more than its fair share of criticism. When Vista was launched, it was expected to take computing to next level especially it was following the most successful Os till date, Windows XP. There have been an increasing number of complaints about the performance of Vista. Lets try and analyze how true the statement is by comparing these OS.

Vista is simply a bigger OS than Windows XP. It has a better background services which index your documents, maintain the hard drive, looks for malware, performs backups and the like. Vista grabs more than three times as much memory as XP, even before running any applications. Vista handles graphics more in the manner of video games, using a software library called DirectX designed to exploit hardware-accelerated graphics, DirectX is also used in Windows XP, but Vista uses it throughout, not just for games. These generally use an older graphics library called GDI (Graphics Device Interface).

In Windows XP this was hardware accelerated, but in Vista this no longer holds true. Instead, they are mapped through DirectX. The new system also holds GDI windows in memory twice over; contributing to Vista’s memory bloat. Microsoft did this to enable fancy graphic effects. Microsoft Architect Greg Schechter observes on his blog (tinyurl.com/2y3×3c), “Today and for the near future, most applications use and will continue to use GDI to render their content.

“Go back 10 years to 1997 and let’s compare this machine to the “craputer” of the 1997 day, a Cyrix MediaGX 166MHz with a whole 16MB ram running Windows95. The difference is amazing. I took a look at the vista scores most had and 2-3 were not uncommon! (My machine is a healthy 6.5) and their low scores really did show in everything from the clicking of the mouse to opeing basic office apps which was a 30 second endurance. You must be thinking what I am writing on this post that What is size of hidden web but i have one reason for that also . Last night i was surfing on some popular blogs and than read few forum threads too . Many website owners as well as bloggers were asking same question why their websites and blogs are not indexing in google .Their were many reasons like many of them don't know about creating and submitting site maps because they started blogging on blogspot or other free blog software platforms . Many of them don't know what really keywords means and they are useful . They are just typing post and post but no traffic is there .

How to delete unprotected files from your computer

Today we will discus that how to delete unprotected files from your computer and make them safe . The problem of unprotected files is caused by Deadhat worm (W32.HLLW.Deadhat or Vesser) which targets Windows systems that are or have been infected with the Norvarg (MyDoom) worm version A or B. the worm scans remote systems to determine whether TCP port 1080, 3127, and/or 3128 is open. If any of these ports is open because of a backdoor program installed by the Norvarg worm, the Deadhat worm copies itself to %systemroot%\sms.exe, thereby infecting the system. Once Deadhat starts running, it may pop up a message reading “Error executing program!” or “Corrupted File.”To ensure that it starts every time the infected system boots, this worm modifies the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
Key in the Registry by adding the value "KernelFaultChk"="%systemroot%\sms.exe". Deadhat also finds the shared folder used by the Soulseek file-sharing program and then copies itself to this folder, assigning itself a name such as Norton.All.Products.KeyMkr.exe, F-Secure.Antivirus.Keymkr.exe, Windows2003Keygen.exe, WinZip.exe, or mIRC.v6.12.Keygen.exe. It opens TCP port 2766 to enable a remote attacker to connect to this port and then upload programs, which if done successfully causes them to immediately run.

Additionally, Deadhat tries to kill processes that run in connection with antivirus and personal firewall software and also processes invoked by Novarg. If the infected system is infected with Norvarg, it keeps Norvarg from starting whenever the system boots by removing the Registry values that the various versions of Norvarg have added, including:

Next it starts scanning sequential IP address ranges to locate ones on which ports 1080, 3127, and 3128 are active. Once connected, it sends a copy of itself to the location within the infected machine’s file system in which the Novarg executable resides, effectively eradicating Norvarg. Finally, this worm connects to an Internet Relay Chat (IRC) server, where it waits for commands to be sent to it.

What we can do to delete unprotected files from your computer ?

If you pc is infected by such problem than it is not terribly difficult to remove them . You need to do a live update of the infected system’s with good anti-virus software, restart the system in Safe Mode or VGA mode, run a virus scan on all files in the system (confirming the deletion of each infected file that the anti virus software identifies), and finally delete the values that Deadhat adds to Registry keys. (NOTE: In Windows Me and XP systems the System Restore function must be performed before the steps described here) .

It also has a community-updated configuration file that retrieves product keys for many other applications. Another feature is the ability to retrieve product keys from unbootable Windows installation.

    * Reliability: since it is an open source, it carries no Trojans or spyware.
    * Compatibility with windows XP and Vista.
    * Load hive option which allows u to load the registry hive of another installation.

The only drawback to this wonderful piece of software design is its incompatibility with windows NT. But, I think all in all it’s a good tool to use and have.
