Natural Pretty Girl in Digital Watercolor Painting

The natural pretty of a girl has its own charm for anyone who looks at her. This has inspired me to blend the natural pretty of a girl with the soft touch of a digital watercolor painting, as seen in the image above which I created using photoshop.

I will explain briefly, how the stages and how I created the image above, i.e.:

The image size I'm using is 1,380 px X 1,380 px, with an image resolution of 300 ppi
The painting is a combination of 2 different images, i.e. the background image and the model image, which the original image of the model can be found here.
Create the background with a watercolor effect using watercolor brush tools according to your imagination
For each image (the background, and the model, use the filter - noise - greyCstoration), and repeat this process up to 3 times, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
Duplicate the background image that has been made, change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 55%);
Place the image of the model on top of the background layer, use the layer mask technique to display the model's image without a background
Place the image of the wildflowers on the top of the model image
Duplicate the model image that has been made, change the blend mode to overlay (opacity 72%);
Use the watercolor effect brush tools for layer masks on the model.
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -16)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -37, and brightness 31)
As the final of the steps mentioned above, give the finishing touches according to your imagination and creativity.

She Looks Casual - Digital Acrylic Painting

In this post, I will present a digital painting of the beautiful woman who looks casual that I have made using the acrylic painting effect technique using photoshop. What are the stages and how do I make this digital acrylic painting? Here are the steps and how I did it:

This digital acrylic painting is a combination of 3 different images, i.e.: (1) background image, (2) model, the original image can be found here, and (3) bamboos on the left and right, the original image can be found here.
For the image size for painting I use 1380 px;1380 px, with a resolution of 300 ppi
The background image was created using photoshop's acrylic brush and should be based on your imagination and creativity.
Duplicate the background image that was made earlier, change the blend mode to linear burn (opacity 34%)
Place the model's image just above the background image that was created earlier, then create a layer mask on the model's image.
Use acrylic brush tools on the model's image layer mask, so that it looks acrylic effect and blends with the background image
Duplicate the model's image that was created earlier, change the blend mode to screen (opacity 100%)
Create a new layer on top of the model's layer image, then created using photoshop's acrylic brush and should be based on your imagination and creativity, change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 100%)
Place the image of the bamboos on the left side with the blend mode is pin light (opacity 100%), then duplicate it and change the blend mode to color burn (opacity 100%).
Duplicate both of the left side bamboos, then move to the right side
For each image (the background, model, and the bamboos, use the filter - noise - greyCstoration), after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor, with a detailed brush composition of 14, shadow intensity 0, and texture 1.
Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -46, and brightness 50)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -15)
Give the finishing touch according to your own imagination and creativity

Beautiful Girl in Black Hooded - Digital Oil Painting

The beauty of a girl is an interesting object to serve as a model for digital painting. In this post, I present a digital painting of a girl's beauty with an oil painting effect technique using photoshop. Because what I used as a model was a beautiful girl wearing a black hooded, I was inspired to give a gothic feel to this painting that I created.

I've created it using photoshop, and the stages and methods I use are as follows:

This digital painting is a combination of 3 different images, i.e.: (1) background image, the original image can be found here, (2) a picture of a girl in a black hooded, the original image can be found here, and (3) a picture of a wildflower, the original image can be found here
I use image size 1380 px; 1380 px, with the resolution of 300 ppi
Place the background image on the bottom layer position, Use the smudge brush tools (64% strength) to smoothen the texture of the background image
To create an oil painting effect for the background image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, repeat this method up to 3 times
Duplicate the background image that has been made, change the blend mode to screen (opacity 22%);
Place the image of the girl in a black hooded on top of the background layer, use the layer mask technique to display the image without a background
Still on the girl in a black hooded image layer, adjust the color composition using image - adjustment - selective color (cyan 25, magenta 25), then use color balance (yellow -30), after that adjust the level (composition: 8-1.00-255), and adjust the brightness and contrast (brightness -30, contrast 20). This method is used to make the girl's image darker
To create an oil painting effect for the girl image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, repeat this method up to 3 times
Duplicate the image of the girl in a black hooded image layer image that has been made, change the blend mode to screen (opacity 22%);
Place the image of the wildflowers on top of the girl image layer, change the blend mode to vivid light (opacity 100%)
Still on the wildflowers image layer, adjust the color composition using image - adjustment - selective color (cyan 25, magenta 25), then use color balance (yellow -30), after that adjust the level (composition: 8-1.00-255), and adjust the brightness and contrast (brightness -30, contrast 20). This method is used to make the wildflowers' image darker
To create an oil painting effect for the wildflowers image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, repeat this method up to 3 times
Duplicate the image of the wildflowers image layer image that has been made, then move to the right side;
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -39, and brightness 60)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation 10)

Duplicate the stylish beautiful girl image that has been made, change the blend mode to hard light (opacity 100%);
Place the image of the pink wildflowers on the top of the beautiful girl image, to make it look like an oil painting, use the filter - noise - greyCstoration, repeat this process up to 3 times
Duplicate the pink wildflowers image that has been made, change the blend mode to color burn (opacity 70%);
For each image (background, the stylish beautiful girl, and the pink wildflowers) that have been made above give a plastic warp effect by using filter-filter gallery-artistic-plastic warp (highlight strength 3, detail 3, smoothness 8)

Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -44, and brightness 44)

When Eagle Fighting Snake - Digital Oil Painting

The eagle is a deadly predator, which is in the air. The advantage of this bird is that it is able to see its prey from a great distance. Even the sharpness of his eyes could see small objects in motion. Once found a potential prey, this bird will dive from a height of up to hundreds of meters. Not even a few of its prey cannot avoid this bird and eventually become its food.

But what if the eagle fighting a snake that is also a deadly predator? The eagle that does not fight snakes on the ground. The eagle lifted the snake to the sky and changed the battlefield and then carried the snake flying into the sky. The snake soon became devoid of stamina, strength, and no balance in the air, nor was it useless, weak, and vulnerable unlike on the ground where snakes were very strong and deadly.

The brief story about the eagle fighting snakes like the one above is just the introduction of my post this time. The eagle fighting the snake, of course, is very interesting if it is created in an oil painting effect. I've created it using photoshop, and the stages and methods I use are as follows:

To create a realistic oil painting effect, each image uses the filter - artistic - plastic warp (highlight strength 2, detail 2, smoothness 6)

Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -31, and brightness 44)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -15)

Having a partner at the same time is our true love, of course, it is a dream for anyone. Beautiful Jathilan Jaran Kepang in Digital Watercolor Painting

Jathilan is an art originating from Ponorogo, East Java Province - Indonesia. This dance art combines elements of dance movements with magic. This type of art is played with the property of an imitation horse, which is made of woven bamboo or braids. This art, which is also often referred to as jaran braids, can be found in Java areas. Regarding the origin or origin of this jathilan art, there are no historical records that can explain in detail.

This art performance begins with dances by dancers whose movements are very slow but then the movements gradually become very dynamic following the sound of the gamelan being played. The gamelan to accompany this jathilan is quite simple, consisting only of drums, drums, kenong, gongs, and slompret, which is a shrill flute. The songs that are sung to accompany the dance, usually contain an appeal that humans should always do good deeds and always remember the God, but there are also those who sing other songs. Eagle, a bird with an elegant and mighty posture, is often used as a symbol of strength and protection. Digging about the eagle may not be far from talking about its prowess. Even though it looks the same, the Balinese kebaya has characteristics that make it different from the kebaya commonly used by people of the Javanese ethnic.

The existence of kebaya in Indonesia is not only as a type of clothing. Kebaya has more meaning and function than that. Its simple form can be said to be a form of simplicity from the Indonesian people.

The philosophical value of the kebaya is obedience, refinement, and the actions of a woman who must be gentle. Kebaya is always identical to be paired with jarik or cloth that wraps the body. Wearing a kebaya will make a woman who wears it turn into a woman who is elegant and has a personality. The kebaya cut that follows the shape of the body inevitably makes the woman have to be able to adjust and take care of herself. Setagen, which functions as a belt, looks like a long cloth that functions as a belt. But it is precisely from its long-form that noble philosophical values are instilled, which is a symbol to be patient or be a patient human being.

In this post, I will present a digital painting of the beauty of an Indonesian female in a kebaya outfit that I have made using the acrylic painting effect technique using photoshop. What are the stages and how do I make this digital painting? Here are the steps and how I did it:

The digital painting of a beautiful Indonesian female in kebaya is a combination of 3 different images, i.e.: (1) background image, (2) Indonesia female, the original image can be found here, and (3) wildflowers on the left and right, the original image can be found here.
For the image size for painting I use 1380 px;1380 px, with a resolution of 300 ppi
The background image was created using photoshop's acrylic brush and should be based on your imagination and creativity.
Duplicate the background image that was made earlier, change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 100%)
Place the female's image just above the background image that was made earlier, then create a layer mask on the female image.
Still on the female's image, apply filters - gallery filters - artistic - watercolor, with a detailed brush composition of 14, shadow intensity 0, and texture 1.
Use acrylic brush tools on the female's image layer mask, so that it looks acrylic effect and blends with the background image
The female's image that has been given an acrylic effect is then duplicated with a blending mode of overlay opacity of 100%.
Place the image of the wildflowers on the left side, then duplicate it and move to the right side.
To create an acrylic effect on the wildflowers' image, do the steps and methods as done in the female's image.
Next, change the blend mode of the left wildflower images (2 layers) respectively hard light (opacity 100%), and vivid light (opacity 100%), do the same for the right wildflower images.
Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -40, and brightness 39)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -30)
Give the finishing touch according to your own imagination and creativity

Roses are often used as a symbol of a man's feelings for his partner. This red rose is what is generally most often found. You may have wondered why many people give red roses to their partners, their wives, or girlfriends. The answer is that red roses do symbolize love and are synonymous with romance. So, by giving red roses, you are indirectly saying "I love you".... so sweet.

The beauty of a red rose and a cute brunette has inspired me to express the beauty of both in a watercolor digital painting using photoshop effects. A touch of soft watercolor color will give a romantic feel to the image that has been created. Well, there is no need to discuss at length the meaning of red roses and beautiful girls. In the following, I will explain briefly, how the stages and how I created the image above.

The painting is a combination of 2 different images, i.e. the model and a red rose. The original image of the cute brunette model can be found here, and the original image of a red rose can be found here
For each image (the model, and a red rose, use the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
The image size I'm using is 1,380 px X 1,380 px, with an image resolution of 300 ppi
Create the background with a colorful watercolor effect using watercolor brush tools according to your imagination
Duplicate the background image that has been made, change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 64%);
For each background image use the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
Duplicate the background image that has been made, use the filter - filter gallery - artistic - colored pencil (pencil width 7, stroke pressure 2, and paper brightness 42), then change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 65%);
Place the image of the model on top of the background layer, use the layer mask technique to display the model's image without a background
Place the image of the red rose on the top of the model image
For each image (background, the model, and wildflowers use the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
Duplicate the model image that has been made, change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 68%);
Use the watercolor effect brush tools for layer masks on the model.
Duplicate the model image that has been made, use the filter - filter gallery - artistic - colored pencil (pencil width 7, stroke pressure 2, and paper brightness 42), then change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 64%);
Duplicate the red rose image, change the blend mode to linear burn (opacity 100%);
Duplicate the red rose image that has been made above, use the filter - filter gallery - artistic - colored pencil (pencil width 7, stroke pressure 2, and paper brightness 42), then change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 71%);
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -20)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -9, and brightness 15)
Give it a finishing touch by adjusting the effects applied to the image.

I Cyborg - My Imaginary Adventure through Digital Art

With the development of digital art that is happening nowadays, it is very possible for everyone to explore their imagination into an image. One of the software that is very popular in digital art is photoshop. Through photoshop we can change into anything according to our wishes.

This is why I tried to create a picture of myself with a cyborg's head. I had my imagination transform into a cyborg dimension with the appropriate visual effect. The image above is an image that I created with a multi-layer technique using the effect from photoshop. The image is a combination of 3 main images, i.e.: (1) the image of sparks as the background, the original image can be found here, (2) the man, I used my own photo as a model (of course you can use your own photo as a model), and (3) a picture of the cyborg's head, the original image. can be found here.

How do I create the image above? The steps and methods that I use briefly are as follows:

The image size I use is 1,280 px: 1,000 px with an image resolution of 300 ppi
Place the sparks on the background, then adjust the size according to the image size used
Place the man model image just above the sparks layer, then create a layer mask to remove the background of the man image
Match the image of the man to the background image by making curve, level, and brightness & contrast effects, respectively, as a clipping mask. This adjustment is made in order to obtain a darker image effect.
Place the cyborg head image as the top layer, with blend mode is multiply (opacity 100%), then create a layer mask to remove the background image
Still on the layer mask position, hide parts of the cyborg's face so that the ma face appears
Adjust the structure of the cyborg face shape with the man face (use Ctrl + T) and select warp mode, adjust it by shifting certain points of the cyborg's face until it looks right with the man face.
Match the image of the cyborg's face to the background and man images by making curve, level, and brightness & contrast effects, respectively, as a clipping mask. This adjustment is made in order to obtain a darker image effect.
Double click on the cyborg face image to enter the layer style, and create a bevel and emboss effect, then adjust it to make it look more realistic.
Duplicate the cyborg face image that has been adjusted both in structure and effect (curve, level, brightness & contrast), change the blend mode to screen (opacity 100%)
To make the sparks on the background look more realistic, create a new layer with the blend mode overlay (opacity 66%), then use the brush tools with an orange color, adjusting the structure of the sparks.
Make a new layer to make the bottom image gradient look darker
Use a coloring effect with vibrance (saturation -32, vibrance 0)
Use picture effects (curve, level, and brightness & contrast effects) each according to your imagination
For I Cyborg sentences, use text tools, choose the type, color, and font size according to your imagination. Then change the sentence text to rasterize type, double-click it to give it a bevel and emboss effect, and a color overlay.
To add a visual effect to the sentence I cyborg, place the blue light image (the original image of blu light can be found here) above the sentence layer, with the blend mode I used is screen (opacity 48%)
In order for the image to be impressed as a movie poster, place the dolby logo image (the original image of dolby logo can be found here) with the blend is screen (opacity 100%)
You can add a few quotes to the image
The final stage is to readjust some of the effects so that the image looks realistic.

That's my imaginary adventure to become a cyborg that I created through digital art using Photoshop ... beyond imagination... enjoy

Digital painting is a medium for expressing the human spirit and mind in interpreting beauty. Various kinds of living things and inanimate objects can be used as objects in digital painting. One of the objects favored by digital painting actors (including me) is the figure of a woman.

In this post, I will show you a digital painting that I have made with the object of a girl with a charming face. For this image, I tried to explore the beauty of full color in a watercolor stroke technique using Photoshop. The steps and methods I used in making the painting are as follows:

The image size I'm using is 1519 px X 1000 px, with an image resolution of 300 ppi
Create the background with a colorful watercolor effect using watercolor brush tools according to your imagination

Place the image of the model on top of the background layer, use the layer mask technique to display the model's image without a background

Duplicate the model image that has been made, change the blend mode to soft light (opacity 73%);
Use the watercolor effect brush tools for layer masks on the model.
For the left wildflowers uses the blend mode to screen (opacity 100%), and hard light (93%)
For the right wildflowers uses the blend mode to screen (opacity 100%), and overlay (100%)
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -25)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -12, and brightness 34)

The stages mentioned above are not absolute, because they can be adjusted to the desires and creativity of each of you... enjoy

Sunglasses, we all wear them to beautify our appearance. Apart from wearing them, we also often feel attracted when other people wear sunglasses, don't you think? Hmmm, I think so.

Still on the model's image, apply filters - gallery filters - artistic - watercolor, with a detailed brush composition of 14, shadow intensity 0, and texture 1.
Use acrylic brush tools on the model's image layer mask, so that it looks acrylic effect and blends with the background image
The model image that has been given an acrylic effect is then duplicated with a blending mode of overlay opacity of 100%.
Place the image of the wildflowers on the left side, then duplicate it and move to the right side.
To create an acrylic effect on the wildflower image, do the steps and methods as done in the model image.
Place this wildflower image between the background image layer and the model image layer
Next, change the blend mode of the left wildflower image (2 layers) respectively normal (opacity 100%), and linear burn (opacity 100%), do the same for the right wildflower image.
For each image (background, the model, and wildflowers use the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
Merge all layers (Ctrl+Alt+Shift+E) to unify all the images into one layer
To create a painting effect on mosaic tiles using filter - filter gallery - texture- mosaic tiles (tile size 19, grout width 3, lighten grout 9)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -36, and brightness 65)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -16)
Give the finishing touch according to your own imagination and creativity

Beautiful Kebaya Encim in Digital Watercolor Painting

As explained in the previous post, the kebaya is the national dress of Indonesian women. As a country that consists of many ethnic groups, the types and patterns of kebaya also have many variations according to the area of origin of the kebaya.

Kebaya Encim is a traditional Betawi dress that is quite old. Traditional clothes that are often used by Betawi people is very identical to the Betawi culture. Kebaya encim has several characteristics, starting from the details of the embroidery, the side folds of the shirt that are in the middle, weaving materials, and the length below the hips.

But in this post, I will not discuss the details about the substance of the encim kebaya, I only present a digital painting of the encim kebaya that I have made using watercolor effect techniques using photoshop.

In several previous posts, I have briefly presented how to make digital paintings using watercolor techniques. The methods and stages that I use in making a digital painting of a kebaya encim are summarized as follows:

Bali is one of the islands in Indonesia which has the strongest attraction. Not only is it an enchanting tourist destination, but Bali also has a myriad of local wisdom. You can easily find a variety of cultures stored in every corner of this island which is known as the Island of the Gods. One of the most popular cultures is several types of Balinese dance that are so distinctive.

The twisting movement is so beautiful, coupled with the use of traditional clothes and accessories, looks so neat and stunning. These traditional dances are usually performed when there are tourist welcoming parties and traditional ceremonies. Of course, this will relieve your tiredness after a long day traveling around the Island of the Gods.

To create an acrylic effect on the wild flower image, do the steps and methods as done in the dancer image.
Next, change the blend mode of the left wild flower image (2 layers) respectively hard light (opacity 100%), and vivid light (opacity 100%), do the same for the right wild flower image.
Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen

Javanese dance is a form of dance and art created from the influence of Javanese culture. Javanese dance movements are usually regular, calm, and smooth. Usually, Javanese dances are associated with Javanese court culture which is elegant, refined, and advanced.

However, Javanese dance also includes dances of the Javanese laypeople and villagers. Javanese dance has different styles and philosophies compared to other Indonesian dance traditions. The movements in Javanese dance are smoother and slower.

In addition, Javanese dances have a meditative quality and tend to be more self-reflective, introspective, and more oriented towards self-understanding. Meanwhile, Javanese dance is associated with wayang orang as well as customs from the Yogyakarta and Surakarta palaces. Javanese dance is a sacred legacy from the ancestors of the palace rulers. Through Javanese dances, they provide moral education, emotional expression, and the spread of Javanese culture.

Inspired by the brief explanation above, in this post I present a digital painting of a Javanese dancer woman with a watercolor effect from photoshop. The combination of the soft Javanese dance movements and the soft touch of watercolors is the right harmonization. Based on this inspiration, in this post, I will present a digital painting of the watercolor effect of Javanese dancers.

I am in Robot Face

I usually do digital painting on the weekends, because at that time I have more free time. In this post, I am presenting one of the digital arts that I have created. The picture I created shows I have a robot face while still showing my real face. Of course, this image is generated through multi-layer editing and several effects using photoshop.

How do I create the image? The following is a brief explanation of the stages of making the image:

The image is a combination of 4 different images, namely: (1) dark city as the background image, the original image can be found here, (2) the man, of course, it is me, (3) robot face, the original image can be found here, and (4) a series of wires embedded in the head, the original image of which can be found here.
The image size I use is 1280 px X 1000 px, with an image resolution of 300 ppi
Image of the dark city as a background, by doing the clipping mask technique, give a curve effect to produce a darker background image;
Place the image of the man in a position above the background layer, create a layer mask for cropping the man and while blending it with the face of the robot;
Place the wiring harness in a position above the man image layer, use blend mode screen with opacity 100%
Make a duplicate of the wiring circuit, change the blend mode to multiply with an opacity of 29%.
Place the robot face image on top of the wire circuit image layer, then give it an inner shadow effect
Make a duplicate of the robot face that has been given the inner shadow effect, change the blend mode to multiply with opacity 51%.
Combine the three images (the man, wiring, robot face) using each layer mask until it looks realistic. This stage greatly affects the final image that will be created, so it takes our accuracy and our imagination. Of course, this will be different ways and imagination of each person.
After the process of blending the image is like the step above, the next step is to create a new layer for the effect of the rays coming out of the robot's eye. Use filter - render - lens flare - lens type, I use lens effect type 50 - 300 mm Zoom with 100 brightness
For the light effect image use blend mode screen with opacity 63%
Add a color gradient effect so that the blended image looks real with a blend mode screen opacity of 8%
Add the coloring effect with vibrance (vibrance 0, saturation -30)
Add a photo filter effect, select a warming filter (85) with a density of 22% then tick preserve luminosity.
Give the final touch so that the resulting image looks realistic. This stage really depends on the imagination and creativity of each person.

Have you ever heard a lion roar? In the wild, the roar of a lion is so loud that it can be heard for more than 5 kilometers! For each image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
Use the acrylic effect brush tools for layer masks
Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -37)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -40, and brightness 102)

Oil is a great medium for suspending color pigments because it has very high saturation, meaning that oil paints can hold a lot of colors, so they get very thick on the canvas. Indonesia is not only famous for its natural beauty, but also for the variety of cultures that exist in it. One of them is the existence of various tribes who are still active and live in several regions in Indonesia, such as the Dayak Tribe. For the background using a single layer, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%)
For the model using 2 layers, the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + pin light (opacity 100%)
For the wildflower using 2 layers, the blending mode each used is multiply (opacity 68%)
For each image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
Use the watercolor effect brush tools for layer masks
Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Lighting effects using brightness and contrast (with contrast -41, and brightness 29)
Color effects using vibrance (with vibrance 0, and saturation -26)

For each image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
Use the acrylic effect brush tools for layer masks
Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)

Bird of Paradise is a typical Papuan bird. Especially male birds have beautiful feathers like an angel who came down from heaven (heaven). Cenderawasih is famous for its beautiful fur. Cenderawasih birds are a group of bird species grouped in the Paradisaeidae family. This bird is only found in eastern Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, and eastern Australia.

Oil paint is a paint consisting of color pigment particles bonded (glued) with a color pigment-binding oil medium, namely linen oil and papaver oil in the form of a paste, while it is used to dilute the paint consisting of a mixture of turpentine and linen oil. The mixture of oil makes this type of paint give a brilliant color brightness effect. In addition, the paint forms a clay paste so that it gives an impressive textural effect when processed properly.

Jamu is a homeland of herbal medicine from Indonesia. It is predominantly herbal medicine made from natural materials, such as roots, bark, flowers, seeds, leaves, and fruits. Materials acquired from animals, such as honey, royal jelly, milk, and ayam kampung eggs are also often used. Jamu can be found throughout Indonesia, however, it is most prevalent in Java, where Mbok Jamu, the traditional kain kebaya-wearing young to middle-aged Javanese woman carrying a bamboo basket, filled with bottles of jamu on her back, traveling villages and towns alleys, offering her fares of traditional herbal medicine, can be found. In many large cities jamu herbal medicine is sold on the street by hawkers carry a refreshing drink, usually bitter but sweetened with honey or palm sugar.

The eagle is a bird symbol of valor. This bird is a carnivorous animal that is able to fly high and pounce on its prey quickly. The eagle is a carnivore. Its main prey is small mammals, such as mice, squirrels, and rabbits, as well as lizards, fish, chickens, and other small birds. Even eagles prey on insects depending on their size. Eagles that live in water areas generally eat fish as their main menu.

Each region in Indonesia has a unique dance art. One of them is the peacock dance, a beautiful dance from West Java. This dance is a new kind of creation inspired by the life of a peacock. This is shown in various dancer movements imitating the behavior of peacocks.

The peacock dance was introduced to the art scene more widely by a Sundanese artist named Raden Tjetjep Soemantri. Peacock dance is a modern or contemporary dance, where every movement in this dance is created freely with its own creations.

However, because of the beauty of the movement, this dance is able to become the pride of the people of West Java and Indonesia at large. A great deal of symbolism runs through the Garuda. Indonesia’s official coat of arms is centered on the Garuda, an ancient, mythical bird from the country’s historical epics. The Garuda is often used to represent Indonesia. The eagle is a symbol of creative energy. Its principal color, gold, symbolizes the greatness of the nation. The black color represents nature.

There are 17 feathers on each wing, 8 on the tail, and 45 on the neck. These numbers stand for the date Indonesia proclaimed its independence: 17 August 1945. The shield symbolizes self-defense and protection in the struggle. The five symbols on the shield represent the state philosophy of Pancasila. The motto Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (“Unity in Diversity”) is enshrined on a banner held in the eagle’s talons, signifying the unity of the Indonesian people despite their diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.

Along with the development of the era of hijab fashion, the growing number of hijab designers has emerged, starting from designers who were not hijab designers to Indonesian artists who entered the world of fashion and became hijab designers. More and more Muslim women are wearing the hijab starting from adolescence to adulthood and it is not uncommon for small children too. Because now by wearing the hijab there is no longer an old or unfashionable impression.

The picture above is a digital painting of the beauty of an Indonesian girl wearing a white hijab. I create this digital painting digitally using photoshop's watercolor effect. The original image can find here, and this image was created using the following methods:

Using multi-layer + layer mask (background, girl model, tree, and wildflower)
For the background, using 2 layers with the blending mode used is normal mode + soft light (opacity about 70%)
For the model girl, using 3 layers with the blending mode used is normal mode (opacity 100%) + soft light (opacity about 77%) + soft light (opacity about 77%)
For the tree, using the blending mode used is hard light (opacity 100%) + multiply (opacity about 66%)
For the wildflower, the blending mode used is hard light (opacity 100%) + multiply (opacity about 75%)
To create a watercolor painting effect, each image uses the filter - noise - greyCstoration, after that use the filter - artistic - watercolor
Use the watercolor effect brush tools for layer masks
Color effects used vibrance (vibrance 0, with saturation -27)
Lighting effects used brightness and contrast (with brightness 31, and contrast -37)
Then sharpen each image using the filter - sharpen - smart sharpen
To create a painting effect on canvas using filter - filter gallery - texture- texturizer (canvas)
Image size used 1380 px; 1380 px, resolution 300 ppi

The method used as mentioned above is not a standard method, but it really depends on how your taste and creativity are.... enjoy

Watercolor painting is in a unique position in the development of painting media, which is dominated by oil paints. Watercolor painting is one of the media that always presents different challenges when working. For the background and model girl, the blending mode used is normal mode + soft light (opacity about 70%)

This gallery was created as a place to store digital painting works that I drew during my spare time. This is part of my hobby. I got interested in learning how to make digital paintings accidentally, because of the demands of work that require skills in the graphic design field. I work for a consulting firm. At that time, there was a request to make a proposal for an event organizer activity which was required to design the proposed equipment. Under these conditions, I had to learn to use photoshop in order to design the request.

I learned photoshop self-taught by following tutorials on the internet. The knowledge that I got from the tutorial I developed myself for almost 3 years. The longer I explore graphic design techniques using Photoshop, the deeper my interest in graphic design will be.

The digital paintings that I have created while studying graphic design are only stored on cellphones and laptop hard disks without being enjoyed by many people. Based on these conditions, whatever the quality, my mind arose to publish it through blogger so that it can be enjoyed by all of you.

The moral message of the above article is, "keep learning so that we can produce useful knowledge, and keep working so that we can become useful human".
