E-M5 certainly grabbed my attention today. On paper, it seems like a great camera and a great addition to the Micro Four Thirds camera's lineup. More cameras means that we have more selection to choose from and that's a good thing. From an enthusiast perspective, I do care

It certainly put FujiFilm back on track, and it will have to compete against many other cameras in the CSC category.

The FujiFilm X-Pro1 is not a compact

Both are advanced point-and-shoot camera, bit as you will soon see, their is a big difference between the too. Canon PowerShot G1 X signifies a big step over "conventional" advanced point-and-shoot, mainly due to its larger sensor in a compact-size camera. However, the size of the sensor is not the only thing different

The G1 X features a large 1.5-inch CMOS sensor, which is 6.3 larger in size than the sensor found on the G12. That alone put the G1 X in a new category of cameras in Canon's lineup. However, this camera has a fixed lens, compared to mirrorless cameras that can accept interchangeable lenses.
