The Misadventures Of Death

I'm trusted sidekick of Death. This is my viewpoint about Death as a person. I'm associated with Death since aeons ago, even when the concept of time was not initiated and the cosmos was not yet created. Me and Death with few other more powerful beings existed before the primordial time (It's an oxymoron that I'm using Primordial, and time together. You need to understand, I'm into existence since long long time ago, hence those words lost the charm and intensity for me.)

Amongst all the life in the whole universe, humans of the Earth are my most favourite creatures. You the human race (as what you call yourselves) is intriguing and sometimes even enigmatic to my boss- The Death. As stated by me earlier I'm keenly fond of humans, so naturally, I acquainted myself with the way of humans. To make analogy easy for you, let me put it this way-- I'm Dr Watson to the Sherlock Holmes(Death). Like Watson use to write about the cases of Holmes, I'm writing about The Death, the only difference is that Sherlock Holmes stories were work of fiction by the writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle and mine is the impeccable facts without any ounce of fiction.

Humans always try to decipher the purpose of death but to their dismay, they are unable to comprehend it because they still haven't figured anything significant about the life which they are fortunate enough to cherish before dying. I am not going to spill the beans about what happens after death as it is above my cosmic position in the hierarchy filled with mighty Elders.

The Death is the darkest thing in the shadowy alley and you'll figure out my boss If you're keenly observant about the shade of blackness. Death' presence will be blacker than the blackest black you've ever seen or dreamed of in your weirdest daymares or nightmares. Beyond the human concepts of gender, space and time exists The Death. Death resides not in numerous universes but in anti-space.

There is nothing too philosophical about The Death' objective to take your imperishable soul. It is just the mere obligation to perform civic duties as humans follow theirs. I'll not disclose further about it, but to make it easier, humans are more like oblations on the altar of someone beyond the realm of understanding by mere mortals. Even the most advanced races in the multitude of universes are unable to find about the true purpose of Death.

Millions of year ago when I accompanied The Death to snatch the life out of the first dying human, I was stricken by the grief felt by that fragile creature. That first human, although was too imbecile to understand anything about the life or the death he was facing but somehow the fear was palpable. A tragedy is not understanding the reason for being frightened and still, it tames all the senses, how interesting it felt to me at that time. Humans evolved but their substantial fear of death is still the same. All acts same at the time of oblation.

I am always amused to find the religion and creation of Gods by humans to ease affect of impending doom of death and turn the religion itself into the self-destructive weapon. What a marvellous creatures, to save yourselves from destruction you create another destruction.

Understand this you mortals, grief is part of the package. Your lives are all connected with each other and few people with the closest connection feel the wrath of your demise in form of sorrows. For The Death you all are diaphanous beings, it sees right through you. Your memories never vanish, one of my important duty is to keep the deceased' memory intact in some other form.Don't be so grief-stricken, as I assure you, that all the dead people are living in one form or another and you'll never know about their existence as your understanding of life is too limited.

By the way, you can call me Death Jr, I'll be writing soon again about the deeds of Death and this time buckle up yourselves because the next instalment will be too grim.

My dear child, be a keen observer, not a casual one.

Reach to the big rusty iron gate, don’t try to climb or unlock it.

There is a small wooden door at the left bottom next to iron gate.

Enter into the wooden door, be alert and enter the door by pushing it inwards.

Take the right turn and follow the stone path, don’t be scared.

Just walk, no sprinting or running, it could wake something or someone awful

Avoid your senses, just heed my instructions.

Your eyes could lead you into mirage.

Your ears could lead you to cacophonous end.

Walk the path between the gory obelisks and keep your sight straight.

At the end of the path, you’ll find a beautiful castle, don’t enter.

Take left and follow the blood-red painted stone path.

You will see a standalone green door, knock it twice not more than that.

Wait for a minute, breathe normally.

A dwarf with snow white beard will open the door, speak no words.

Enter the door and there my boy, will be the place you always wanted to be.

Pondering of Batman

Batman perched himself on one of the gargoyle on an old museum building. The night was dark befitting the dark knight. To his amazement the night was of no crime and no bat-light signal in the sky. It seemed that Gotham at last is at peace. Silhouette of Arkham Asylum was visible and for no reason it made Batman shudder and he felt that Arkham is living and breathing malevolent creature.

As an vigilante, Batman met many good / evil heroes and evil/good villains. His long list of foes includes the psychopaths of extreme degree: Poison ivy, Joker, Penguin, Riddler, bane et al.

It rarely happens that our caped-crusader, ponders about life and philosophy. But today was a different night or to say night of all the nights.

Batman on Gargoyle

His thought moved around from one instance to other in just a fraction of second, each thought overlapping the other. He was muddled into confusion just by sheer intensity and rapidness of his thoughts.

Gotham city is skeletal , like the decayed remains of great beast; Batman caught himself saying. City’s soul is grim, creating maniacs as the likes of Joker and Harley Quinn. Am I a crime fighter without a cause or just a victim of the Gotham’s brutality?- Thought Batman.

Is there any naïve promise he is making to himself or Gotham denizens; that light will pervade the darkness or consonance will smoothen out the dissonance, well if that’s the case I’m making the pseudo –promises, this time Batman was whispering his thoughts and he could hear it, making the words echo in his ears with terrible horrific effects. Batman fought many wars but this one is eventually an intense tussle deep inside his brain cells and that’s hard to shrug off. Now at this point of time our mighty hero is filled with fear skinning his own palms on a premise of creating a wrong notion for Gotham people. Nothing can even come an inch closer to engage and coax the people into false hopes of making everything better.

Scarecrow from his vantage-point felt ecstatic after a careful watch over Batman. At last it seems that he is victorious and his enemy is on his knee, after all it’s all about brain-game and the internal fears are the stuffs, which breaks even the strongest of mankind.

"What is HAIKU?" In simple words, Haiku is an iconic and most famous poetic form of Japan, (Its also quite popular across the world, nowadays) which conveys a vivid image or a poetic moment within 5-7-5 syllables.powerful ancient Japanese style of poetry, which is adored by millions of modern readers and writers.

In nutshell haiku is:A Japanese poem of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world.(Its the first information you get on Google search when you type: What is haiku?)

Its powerful art and bit restricted in sense of words but let you define even the contrasting elements with clarity.

The below poem by master of haiku-Kobayashi Issa expresses an almost brutal comic contrast and describes a poetic moment so vividly that one could almost see it through Issa’s eyes even after centuries have passed.

KRISHNA: Beyond Space and Time

KRISHNA as per the Hinduism ancient epics goes is considered as eighth incarnation of Lord Vishnu.The God himself: Krishna. Known by numerous names. Adored and prayed by millions.

Krishna is an entity beyond the concept of GOD. He is primordial, not just a person or even God but a whole regenerative concept in itself. Never ever a concept(not a person or God) so divine occurred in epics around the world. It is overwhelming and fascinating to understand the KRISHNA concept.

He is a light, a concept, an idea which transcends the space and time, base of whole universe. He is in all dimensions, even in the dimensions yet to be figured by modern science. Krishna alone seems to be more important in present day and awareness.

Number of western philosophers consider religion of India as “LIFE NEGATIVE”(As to attain peace/moksha one has to shun away from regular life). I am sure these philosophers didn't have the deep insights about the Krishna. He is one who cherishes life as it is. In the middle of routine,consciousness is held by him and all the worldly things are embraced.Its hard to understand that one could even in midst of whirlpool of attachments and relations could be calm and attainable and vulnerable at the same time.

This is what makes Krisnha more feasible and is future proof.

He is not just avatar of the God or a different versions at various phases of his incarnated life; gokul, vrindavan orfor that matter the mighty and charioteer of Arjuna at the kurukshetra. He is not someone who just recited Bhagwadgeeta to his disciple right at fierceness of battleground. Krishna is ever righteous, even in mischief or wrong-doings. His flute creates the music of life,among the whole hush-hush of world the music signifies the trance.

All the civilizations in the world which are acknowledged consisted usually of a primary figure bestowed with divinity by its followers. Krishna in that sense is sum total of all the Yin & Yang of those divinity existed or created by mankind.

Krishna accepts all the highs and lows of life, standing victorious .Full of compassion and love. From Radha to Rukmani he possess different versions of love, which are at par from power of words to define it.We could attain him from various ways apart from which usually the disciples think is praying/meditating. Meera got Krishna by singing, Radha through her sheer love and Rukmani through her devotion.

From Gopal, Vasudev to Krishna is not just his phases of growing up but his multi-faceted look into a life lived as mortal, comprising of all the highs and lows, wrongs and rights which could be easily connected even with lives of most humdrum beings on the planet. Understanding Krishna transcend even the space and if Aliens exist, they may found his life/teachings/pedagogy appealing.

When refuge is sought in Krishna(as a concept) the Karma takes the driving seat and even through the fury of routine life the calmness is rooted deep within. As it happens sins start purging, more importantly scope of wrong is minimized.

When I first read the story: DAVID &GOLIATH, I was mesmerized. It is fascinating to know that an underdog (David){Definition of underdog-One at a disadvantage and expected to lose} defeated the giant (Goliath).We all love such types of stories as it tells our unconscious mind that almost everything is possible.In real life it’s quite rare that DAVIDs stood victorious, but when it happens, they turn into GOLIATHs. When it happens in world of business,it gives a sign of new Dragon who becomes bigger and bigger to extent of dominating the once leader.

Advent of technology disrupted the commerce long ago and new businesses nowadays emerge around the ecosystem of modern technology.

Mobile Phone may be one of the biggest invention yet(apart from internet off course)and catapulted the company-Namely: APPLE and SAMSUNG.They have recreated their businesses around it and as a result their brand is even solid now and their other products are more visible than ever thanks to their smartphone penetration.

There is a difference between BRAND and product.Its hard to create a brand but easy to churn products.As I have heard their phones are not durable and long ques could be found in their service centres.Its easy to fill market with phones(as seen in case of mobile phone nowadays,its turned into a mass marketing),create a product and it will sell.Quality of their phones need to be escalated from product finishing to flawless rendering of Android OS on their phones.Right now micromax doesn't creates its phones,in long-term it has to think about in-house production which will help them in delivering better quality.

Its not micro anymore but turned into MACRO-MAX.

Yeh Jawani hai deewani- Review

"YEH JAWANI HAI DEEWANI"(YJHD) : lots of things have written about movie and overall critics and public praised it.

Directed by AYAN MUKHERJI,his 2nd direction after "Wake up Sid"(WUS).YJHD is slated to be typical summer blockbuster;big production house,commendable director,melodious music,aggressive promotion and superb star cast.

While WUS was innocent and very grounded film,YJHD is bit loud and grand in treatment.Its good movie but missed the bulls eye by being too predictable and to some extent typical Bollywood romantic flick.

YJHD moved too much on fun and romantic side,it tried to be Magnum-Opus and in the process soul of film is corrupted.Conversation/scene between Ranbir kapoor and Farooq Sheikh(Son and father) are just too good,intense and very few.Movie tried to explore the extent of friendship,dreams,love;chronicling ups and downs in lives of four buddies/lovers.Aditya Roy Kapoor(Ashiqui 2 is hit and i think he will be liked by all in his heavy boozer/drinker avatar in this film too) and Kalki given a good performances.They were not side-kicks(as usually happens in movies with big stars) but were integral part of YJHD. Deepika Padukone looked pretty and few places she dominated the screen but over-all she doesn't fit in the avatar of desi girl(Modernized version of Kajol from DDLJ).

Now coming to crux of this movie: This movie belonged,dominated and ruled by RANBIR KAPOOR(RK).Its RK movie and with each movie this lad is breaking the barriers from his acting to dance steps each of his energized acts are feast.His acting is evolved even faster than "Theory of Evolution" and i am sure Charles Darwin must have amazed by it. Sheer magic of RK is enough to take this bit loop-holed movie into the boulevard of Superhit.

P.S- After watching this movie,few of us will be rekindled with our dormant longing for traveling the world.

SKYFALL

Watched Skyfall 007,Fantastic movie.I never liked Daniel Craig as a James bond,reason being as i always remembered suave & stylish Pierce Brosnan who depicted 007 role earlier as real charmer,womanizer and enigmatic secret agent for British secret service -MI6.I never found Daniel craig as a right role for bond but this movie changed my notion,its 3rd film starring craig as bond.

Reasons film is good- Movie gives a practical touch and showed bond at last as vulnerable human being,who could miss his targets and makes mistakes.No hi-tech gadgets as exploding pens,lazer watches,exploding chewinggums etc.Song LET THE SKYFALL is just awesome sung by Adele,background music is compatible with movie.Action scenes in this bond movie seems real and practical unlike its predecessors.Role of other characters are superbly written,especially M and main villain and introduction of Q in totally new avatar,movie has believable twists.Some times even we forget that its JAMES BOND movie as director had given it a subtle touch not magnum opus touch as it happened with previous bond flicks.Craig's bond is emotional too and 1st time Bond flick mentioned about his childhood.

Reasons film is not good- Just one reason,as we enter in cinema hall to watch 007 flick,we need bond(almost like superhero) to give superb punch liners and who can always emerge victorious against his arch enemies and display superior future gadgets,cars etc. but this flick doesn't care about that.

It is for the audience who want to see bond in other version and not part of typical bond trademark.

CHAKRVYUH

Watched Chakravyuh ,above average movie,not up-to the expectation as i was expecting better from Prakash Jha.As one of my most favr8 actor is Abhay Deol,but i was disappointed by him as i felt,this role of Naxal didn't suited him and he missed the vibe of aggression needed for the role.Manoj bajpayee's role was limited and he too was missing power required to showcase a dangerous Naxal leader.

Arjun Rampal(against my expectation) acted superb and i felt that this film belongs to him,he portrayed logical,powerful,brainy police official who is vulnerable too.Best part about the movie is -it never tried to preach anyone,it let us make the assumptions.We all know that Maoists and Naxalism is internal conflict in our country or more than that a struggle to attain what should be theirs by deprived. Script could be little more tight,as it was the script which is low point for movie based on naxal moments.Making a film on naxals,should also make ppl realise about ideology about the leaders,who started the moment,it lacked the proper expression.Om puri's role was not much bt he performed well.One more thing , i don't get it - Che Guevara's photos are prominently shown in movie,with naxal leaders.Dear prakash jha,please go through che guevera's biography,you will know that he was a rebel and doesn't share the ideology,which,u were trying to show case.

Worth while movie to catch,if you like movies like student of the year,chakravyuh is not for you.

OMG(Oh My God)

Watched OMG movie. A superb flick.Comedy with logic.Paresh rawal was awesome and after long time Akshay kumar was natural and perfect for godly role :)

What was incredible to me was that I could see the Mac team in the first few rows. It was as though none of us could believe that we'd actually finished it. Everyone started crying."

2 Nov 2012- pertaining to the news that close associates of big Netas/politicians lives a life of fortune.

NEWS UPDATE- Manohar Panse, the driver of BJP president Nitin Gadkari, who was found to be a director on several of Gadkari's companies, is not alone. Peons, clerks and drivers of leading politicians have become overnight millionaires or secured key assignments in the institutions set up by their employers.

However, Panse is reportedly unaware of the high position he holds in the firms floated or controlled by Gadkari.

Now i know what must be the better career option, driver,peons etc. of Big netas could bring a lifetime fortune :)

25 October 2012- pertaining to vigor of small town's festival celebration

Its always happening to be a part of small town,as i have grown up in a town it had its own perks.One among them is festival celebration and engagement level of whole area.It seemed that every living and non-living entity has got invisible energy source. Well all the major festivals also included few more rituals and spin-offs which one could rarely found in big cities.

One among them is on ocassion of "Dussherra",where people distribute SONA-CHANDI(gold-sliver) to each other(off-course not real metals) but leaves from particular type of tree.Its super tradition,following on steps of satyuga when Victorious Ram,distributed Gold-silver(wealth) to common ppl.I am sure this is rare tradition which could just happen in India,where ppl are indulged into sharing their wealth with each others(off-course a mock wealth) bt it speaks lot about rich stories,which we Indians take seriously.I guess this tradition is followed in most of the towns in central and north India.

There are many things to copy-paste from my social networking updates but i guess,its boring me now. Mark Zuckerburg,i hate you to make recent generation slave of internet and your site. :(

Mythology: compelling tales filled with Facts & Fictions(Part 1-Introduction)

What this world would be,if there are no stories,tales and fables? I am sure answer is --it will be mundane.There would be no movies or literature in that case,sounds terrible.Mythology gives us insight about past civilizations,people and more importantly an idea which forms the pillar of consecutive culture which follows it.Every nation is extension of an idea which forms the perspective of any nation.

I abhor calling it mythology because this word itself expresses myth,in Hindi(dewanagri lipi) its called pauranik which comes from ancient literature(purans).Ancient stories from greek gods to pharaohs ;let us know about the way people lived their lives,the magnum opus of earlier civilization from vikings to pirates and most importantly;let us make assumptions,improving our imagination.Letting us flow into the rich tales from Ramayana,Mahabharata,Ulysses to dead sea scrolls and many other literature from past.

Stories which helps us from material to spiritual senses.Invoke in us certain emotions and stir thought process.From stories of dragons to tooth fairies everything is so lively.Great archers,warriors,samurais,knights,Gods inducing in us sense of heroism and to understand between good and evil.

Reality and fantasy is so interconnected among ancient stories that it is very hard to know about truth,in the midst of eternal fables lies the truth which fulfills the curiousness boiling inside mankind.

All stories from each culture at some point converge with each other. Religious books too have many common stories among them which i'll state in next parts.

Let me point out few similarities between Greek and Indian mythology - Mount Olympus is place where Greek Titans reside and Mount Meru(swarga) is abode of Indian Gods(devtas). Zeus the supreme Greek Titan's mighty tool of destruction is lightning rod and Indra(the king of devs) held vajra which posses almost same power of lightning as with his counterpart Zeus.Devtas/Titans from Indian and Greek mythology held the divine place in mountains and posses weapons of almost same effect.Zeus and Indra both fallen in love(many times) with human girls of ravishing beauties and took the form of birds,animals and other human beings with sole motive of satisfying lust.In both the cases consequences followed.

Ancient Indian and Greek tales are written in different eras and geographical locations than too if we dive into the ocean of stories similarities emerges and it makes me feel that all the people around the world are interconnected in some or other manner.

Movie Review: Batman- Dark Knight rises

"Batman:Dark Knight Rises" An epic conclusion to fantastic trilogy.Movies needs HERO to make them work in case of this film more than actor "Christian bale" its director "Christopher Nolan" who made the flicks(trilogy) work. Rarely it happens in world of cinema that director plays much more vital role as compared to actors and Nolan is one among those few wonderful directors.Neither do i want to talk about the great actors(except Joker-Heath ledger and bale) in trilogy as- Gary oldman,Morgan freeman,katie holmes,Michael caine,Anne hathway,Mariot,Joseph,eckheart,Tom hardy etc. as they were the perfect starcast.Its more about series as whole.

Well, my post is not spoiler and more than review its about the BATVERSE experience(created by Noaln's films).I am not going to mention ratings,plot or analysis. In nutshell as per me it is between fantastic & super-fantastic,bit short of expectant spectacle.

NOLAN'S BATMAN-

Among so many DC-Comics characters(and super heroes from other comics too) Batman is arguably the most popular super hero(or hero, as he have no super power).From his comics to animated films batman has something different from standard super heroes.He don't posses super-humane power and have much darker shade(not grim or heinous acts) in terms of execution.Other super heroes as Spiderman,Super-man etc. heroism is labeled upon them due to super-power they carries but in case of BATMAN he opted for it and polished himself to become almost like super power possessing super hero.

Coming to films, Tim burton previously directed earlier version of batman and it was good,Joel Schumacher tried to make decent flick with good star cast but unable to make it click. Enters Nolan and literally changed BATVERSE(in case of films). Opulent family,parents killed in childhood which makes Batman feel a real pang of emotions and coaxed him to be a caped crusader to save world(Gotham city basically). Same thing as already in comics and movies before but Nolan changed the perspective in executing story as all those stuffs feel more authentic.Gives him aura of imperfection but at last overcoming short falling to be a true super-hero."Batman Begins" gave batman a new life and audience liked it- from his emotions to romance everything was different and than too feels wholly connected to Batman.

Gotham city feels even more lively than New-york or London and it seems a real city and not just a city but is an invisible character in whole flicks.

Dark knight(2nd flick) was mind boggling, from intensity of romance to psychotic joker,this flick seemed stand alone from its previous part.Heath ledger(joker) induced - horror,fun, heinousness into film.Joker was the movie and movie was the joker.

Dark Knight Rises - Established nexus with previous two parts to give it a touch of real trilogy.It was Christian Bale(batman) who was the real character this time.Bane(tom hardy) was great but may it was heath ledger in earlier part which made Bane the villain feel like a apprentice in badness.Film was great but this time it seems it was tried to made an epic film and earlier was itself a movie which made you feel as super fantastic movie.

As i am comparing this film with earlier version which made it feel bit less of perfect......

Mughal Empire ruled the subcontinent from 1526 to the beginning of the British Raj in 1858.Babur's (1st mughal emperor in India) victory at panipat in the year 1526 initiated Mughal raj in India.Well this post is not about Mughal history.This post is about Akbar-most sophisticated and successful Mughal Emperor.There are many firsts under his rule; equal respect to different religions, against casteism and most importantly- Akbar not only tolerated religions other than Islam, he encouraged interfaith discussion and debate. After listening to many religious scholars from the prominent religions of his empire (i.e., Islam, Hinduism, Zoroastrianism, and, to a lesser extent Jainism, Christianity and Judaism) he decided that no one faith was entirely and exclusively true; he developed a syncretic religion which he called Din-i Ilahi, "the Divine Faith" and encouraged his subjects to follow it. It combined elements primarily from Islam and Hinduism, but also from Zoroastrianism, Jainism and Christianity. While it never gained a real following, it promoted many universal values found in these religions, including compassion, piety, abstinence and prudence. It forbade celibacy and animal slaughter. Another religion that was developing at the same time, but gained a large following and continues to this day as one of the world's great religions is Sikhism, which also blends elements of Hinduism and Islam.

We were illiterate but we had an insatiable thirst for knowledge. We have 24,000 volumes in our library and books are read to us regularly. Some of our distinguished Amirs are distinguished scholars.

For example, Abdur Rehman, the Khan-i-Khanan, is fluent in Persian, Arabic, Turki, Sanskrit, and Hindi. When we first ascended the throne, Omrah numbered 51, all non-Indian muslims. By 1580, their numbers increased to 222, nearly half-Indian and including 43 Rajputs. Be inclusive. Be firm with the great, kind to those of low estate, just to all men, high and low, neighbour or stranger, so that every man believes the king is on his side. We were sent into the world by providence to live and labour, not for oneself but for others.
We have set down of good and bad whatever we know, concerning kinsman and stranger: of them all I have set down carefully the known virtues and defects.

No living being can solely exist in real world. Without surreal we would be insane, Sanity which we relish is often combination of real and surreal. It is said that even animals dream, every living being dreams which connects us with surreal. Think about movies, comics, cartoons etc. they ‘re all to some extent pushes our step towards imagination and fantasy.

World famous comics, cartoons, movies, novels, stories, paintings decipher the route to imagination for us and help us to be sane. Dreams , as per scientific researches plays a very vital part in keeping our brain healthy. In our dreams we often do the things which is just impossible in reality. It rejuvenates us, gives us alternatives to perceive the world. A person who dream less or don’t dream at all suffers from mental disorder.

A research by Wharton college came to conclusion after a long research that people prefer fiction novels and movies over non-fiction. Think about awesome comic s about superheroes(yes, they were comics first which was later adopted into cartoons & movies)spiderman,superman,batman,x-men,hulk and many more of them ,we like them although we know they are not real.They make us believe in themselves for sometimes and believe me this sort of things keep us sane. Overdose of surreal could bring disaster as well . We all watched disney cartoons and fairy tales from Talespin to Ducktales, bunch of ducks,bears and variety of animal talking,flying planes,accumulating infinite money but we just forgot that they are just bunch of animals wearing clothes walking on two legs,This is what fantasy is about and we say we are all sane.

Society is filled with Good & Evil beings.If evils, even very few in number could be turned good; can be a real asset for all of us.Freedom is really a very complex word, definition of freedom varies to different individuals.People who are free(who are not kept behind the iron cells) like us takes freedom for granted.My main motto of writing this post is inspired by Hindustan Time's article "HIRE UP" it was pertaining to job security for former prisoners.

Let me give you fantastic insights regarding it,which is fantastic and could bring drastic change in former convicts.Recently tihar jail organized placement activities for prisoners who showed commendable behavior.100 prisoners,who are about to set free are found eligible for it.Its a tremendous effort to give them a second chance.These small acts act as a good signs for society because chances are that these former convicts(some of them are not even serious offenders and some of them even didn't committed any offenses) will not again indulge in wrongful deeds.

Number of companies even showed interest in hiring them.Sir Richard Branson(founder of virgin group) in Britain even made the policy of hiring ex-convicts.Our society(even developed nations) perceives ex-criminals as not fit for jobs and it gives reason to ex-criminals to follow again on former tracks.There was a time in USA when gangsters were treated as Celebrities(watch johny depps's public enemies and recently released J. edgar starring Leonardo-di-caprio based upon true stories)Crime pays but in short term but if these demons are glamorized,things start taking ugly turn which already happened in USA,RUSSIA(formerly USSR).

I wish other jails(prisons) start doing placement activities for convicts,at least it can make a little mental change in convicts to follow right paths.As terrorists are brain washed for doing heinous things.Can't we follow these techniques to brain feed them that 'You got the second chance,make it better this time'

Mythology & Reasons for Diwali celebrations.

As we all know the primary reason for which Diwali is celebrated which is-Return of The Lord Rama from Vanvas,after killing the dark lord Ravan.But there is more to it;lots of stories are connected with it which gives us more reasons to celebrate festival of lights.As a child i was always intrigued by tales of epic Ramayan and Mahabharat recited by my grandmother with full of zeal and it seemed to me as some history which really happened before and try to visualize those stories before my eyes.

As i grew up,it was more like just stories told to me in a childhood phase to instill moral values in me through Divine tales;so as what i thought.Later i realized whether these stories are true or false it doesn't matter because they have survived centuries to to be retold to us and it ll be continued in future too and they are meant to survive to reexamine our actions,its not so spiritual or philosophical as it is stated,i feel it can connect to anyone in real life.

These are 10 historical and mythical reasons to celebrate Diwali-

1.)Goddess Lakshmi’s Birthday: On this very Diwali day, the Goddess of wealth, Lakshmi is said to have been incarnated from the depth of the bottomless ocean. The Hindu scriptures tell us that both Devas(gods) and Asuras (demons) were mortal (Mrita) at one point of time. Seeking a deathless condition (Amarattva), they churned the ocean to seek Amrita, the nectar of immortality (an event mentioned in the Hindu scriptures as "Samudra-manthan"), during which a host of divine celestial objects came up. Prime among these was Goddess Lakshmi, the daughter of the king of the milky ocean, who arose on the new moon day (amaavasyaa) of the Kartik month. She was subsequently married to Lord vishnu on the same darkest night of the year and brilliant lamps were illuminated and placed in rows to mark this holy occassion.

Hence the association of Diwali with Goddess Lakshmi and the tradition of lighting of lamps and candles during the festival. To this day, Hindus celebrate the birth of the goddess Lakshmi and her marriage to Lord Vishnu on Diwali and seek her blessings for the coming year.

2) The Legend of King Mahabali : The Bhagavata Purana (also known as Srimad Bhagavatam), the most sacred Hindu text, reveals how on a Diwali day Lord Vishnu, in his fifth incarnation as Vaman-avtaara, rescued Lakshmi from the prison of King Bali during the Treta Yug. Bali, or rather King Mahabali, was a powerful demon king who ruled the earth. Powered by a boon granted to him by Lord Brahma, Bali was invincible and even gods failed to defeat him in battles. Although a wise and perfect king otherwise, Mahabali was violent in his ways with the Devas (gods). On their insistence, Lord Vishnu disguised himself as a short Brahmin and approached Bali for some charity. The righteous and benevolent King couldn't refuse the Brahmin's offer and was tricked into giving up his kingship and wealth (of which Lakshmi is said to be the Goddess). Diwali marks this overcoming of Mahabali by Lord Vishnu and this is another reason why Goddess Lakshmi is worshipped on Diwali.

In Kerala, the festival of 'Onam' is celebrated around August to mark this legend.

3) The Killing of Narakasura: The Bhagavata Purana tells us about Narakasura, an evil demon king who had managed to acquire awesome powers. Unrivalled in prowess, he conquered both the heavens and earth and was tyrannical in his reign. Addicted to power, he even stole the earrings of Aditi, the heavenly mother goddess, and usurped some of her territory. When Lord Vishnu was incarnated as Krishna in the Dwapara Yuga, he killed Narakasura on the day preceding Diwali and rescued 16,000 women whom the demon had imprisoned in his palace. The deliverance from the terrible Narakasura was celebrated with much grandeur, a tradition that continues to this day.

However, another version of the story credits Lord Krishna's wife Sathyabhama as the one who eliminated Narakasura. It is said that Narakasura could only be killed by his mother Bhudevi and as Satyabhama was an incarnation of the same Bhudevi, she only could kill him. Before death, however, Narakasura realized his mistake and requested a boon from Satyabhama that everyone should celebrate his death with colorful light. To commemorate his death, the event is celebrated in some parts of India as Naraka Chaturdasi, two days before Diwali day.

4) The Return of the Pandavas: Hindu epic ‘Mahabharata’ reveals that it was ‘Kartik Amavashya’ (the new moon day of the Kartik month) when the Pandavas appeared from their 12 years of banishment as a result of their defeat in the hands of the Kauravas at the game of dice (gambling).5 Pandava brothers, their mother and their wife Draupadi were honest, kind, gentle and caring in their ways and were loved by all their subjects. To celebrate the joyous occassion of their return to Hastinapura and to welcome back the Pandavas, the common people illuminated their state by lighting bright earthen lamps everywhere. And the tradition is maintained to this day.

5) The Victory of Rama: The great Hindu epic ‘Ramayana’ describes how Lord Ram (the incarnation of Lord Vishnu in the Treta Yug) conquered Lanka after vanquishing the evil King Ravana and after passing a period of of fourteen years in exile returned to his capital Ayodhya on a new moon day of Kartik with wife Sita and brother Lakshman. To celebrate the homecoming of their beloved king, the people of Ayodhya burst crackers, lit up their houses with earthen lamps (diyas), and decorated the entire city in the grandest manner. Year after year this homecoming of Lord Rama is commemorated on Diwali with lights, fireworks, bursting of crackers and merriment. The festival gets its name Deepawali, or Diwali, from the rows (avali) of lamps (deepa) that the people of Ayodhya lit to welcome their King.

6) Coronation of Vikramaditya: It is also said that Vikramaditya, the legendary Indian king famed for his wisdom, valour and magnanimity was coroneted on the Diwali day following his victory over the Sakas in 56 BC. This was marked by a grand celebration which is still maintained annually. One of the greatest Hindu monarchs, Vikramaditya ruled the greatest empire in the world from modern-day Thailand in the east to the borders of modern-day Saudi Arabia in the west. Diwali, thus, apart from being a religious festival also has a historical association.

7) The Enlightenment of Swami Dayananda Saraswati: Diwali also marks the auspicious occasion when on a new moon day of Kartik (Diwali day) Swami Dayananda Saraswati, one of the greatest reformers of Hinduism attained his nirvana (enlightenment) and became Maharshi Dayananda, meaning the great sage Dayananda. In 1875, Maharshi Dayananda founded the Arya Samaj, "Society of Nobles", a Hindu reform movement to purify Hinduism of the many evils it became associated with at that era. Every Diwali, this great reformer is remembered by Hindus all over India.

8) The Enlightenment of Vardhamana Mahavira: For Jains, Diwali commemorates the enlightenment of Vardhamana Mahavira(the twenty-fourth and last Tirthankaras of the Jains and the founder of modern Jainism) which is said to have occurred on Oct. 15, 527 B.C. This is one more reason to engage in Diwali celebrations for pious Jains and other than the purpose of commemoration, the festival stands for the celebration of the emanicipation of human spirit from earthly desires.

9) Special Day for the Sikhs: For Sikhs, Diwali holds a special significance for it was on a Diwali day that the 3rd Sikh Guru Amar Das institutionalized the festival of lights as an occasion when all Sikhs would gather to receive the Gurus blessings. It was also on a Diwali day in 1619 that their sixth religious leader, Guru Hargobind Ji, who was held by the Mughal Emperor Jahengir in the Gwalior fort, was freed from imprisonment along with 52 Hindu Kings (political prisoners) whom he had arranged to be released as well. And it was also on the same auspicious occasion of Diwali when the foundation stone of the Golden temple at Amritsar was laid in 1577.

10. Goddess Kali: Kali, also called Shyama Kali, is the first of the 10 incarnations of Goddess Durga, Lord Shiva's consort. According to legend, long ago after the gods lost in a battle with the demons, Goddess Kali was born as Kal Bhoi Nashini from the forehead of Goddess Durga. Said to be a personification of Nari Shakti (female power), Kali was born to save heaven and earth from the growing cruelty of the demons. After killing all the devils, Kali lost her control and started killing anyone who came her way which stopped only when Lord Shiva intervened. The well-known picture of Ma Kali, with her tongue hanging out, actually depicts the moment when she steps on the Lord and repents.

Whatever reasons there are moot point is celebration and emphasizing of the power of righteousness it carries.

Science is upgrading itself by leaps & bounds.Technology is really fast & furious to make the previous inventions seems ridiculous,think about cassette player(walkman) in which there were two sides and limited songs now fast forward and think about recent tiny devices(such as ipods) which can store lots of songs,more stylish and mobility is easy that too with lot of playback capacity for hours.Moot point to showcase these two inventions is age of innovations;well there are lot many technological advancements other than example i had given but just linger for while on time between those devices.

Walkman came into existence in 1972 while in start of 80's they were available easily.It means in 80's cassette player were acquired by many and their owners felt pride that they own one.Year 1998 gave rise to digital players in 2001 ipod was launched.Difference of years between walkman(1972) to digital players(1998) which is staggering 26 years.After 2001 there are lot of inventions based on high mobility and computing powers.It took 26 years to reach that level of innovation but now it just takes 2-3 years to bring new innovations,finest example is transition from ipods to ipod touch which came very far from its predecessor in terms of varied usability,scalability & functionality.

Our technology in few centuries didn't make the advancements,which is made possible in past 5-6 years.Off-course past innovations are the base for present advancement in technology sector and coming future i means next 5-10 years will bring the unimagined technical wonders in our hand.I am no Alvin toffler who can predict future advancements but i m sure 3 laws of robotics coined by Isaac Asimov-

    1.    A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
    2.    A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
    3.    A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

Will soon be taken into accounts as robotic science is fast combining itself with real lives.We are on verge of productive and destructive technologies simultaneously.Now lets see which triumphs over the other.

Evolution process occurred differently on human race (Men & Women), not just our physical dissimilarities make us apart but its more about intrinsic nature,attitude, demeanour ,code of conducts,style,attitude ,thinking process,IQ,EQ ,etc.

Gender creates a huge difference in the way the particular task is performed ,take for instance girls can dance well as compared to guys and their dancing is much more gracious and appealing.While on the other hand Guys seems much more easy while playing outdoor sports and got that extra factor which makes sports much more bombastic to watch.(Well I am talking in generalized terms off course guys and gals both can dance and play outdoor sports ,i just considered the majority for difference)

Being Men is very difficult sometimes, because we are full of vanity,ego,pseudo-attitude but ;as it is said every cloud has silver linings same applies to us even we have our pros too .Passion and zest is just like our alto-ego but the thing we give our 100% in things we like or enjoy and that becomes our top priority.I am not someone who has proper academics or knowledge to describe men and women.This article is not about psychological graph and nuggets but about what being men means…

we guys like anything which is fast and can match our highest degree of style, suaveness and attitude.Guys love motorbikes and cars,have you ever given the thought WHY? Well for proper and logical reasoning ,I have to take back you in time to the early stages of human evolution ,homo sapiens started hunting and hunters needed to be more acute,agile,fast and powerful and so the masculinity induced in of the genders which is males to posses all the aspects to become a expert hunter over a certain time at the evolution stages.Men started enjoying hunting it was not just a source of their food but also gives them utter enjoyment and it became like a game for them.Different types of tools are invented and they tried to expertise in handling tools.Just think a deer is running with all it might and hunter is trying to make it a prey.It needs wholesome effort from hunter to run fast(speed) and after outperforming prey,wounding it at vulnerable point, with right amount of energy(power).These things escalated in male,what we are today and enjoy speed,power and sense of dominance.

Men loves to control and perfect example is automobiles.Controlling a big powerful machines like SUV’s which have powerful engines ranging to thousands of CC(cubic capacity).It makes us feel proud to control the speed of gigantic machine,it needs awesome effort of brain and body parts.Formula 1 races and Moto GP is passionately liked by males all around the Globe.

Just think controlling speeding automobile on zigzag and scary turnings gives a sense and dominance.

Even in earlier times fierce horses,bulls were tamed by men.To ride a adamant horse was one of the signs of respect from others and considered as courageous .Think about gladiators,fighting in a arena filled with people cheering for brutality.Killing the other man in combat brings glory.To kill somebody was not the real fun but people appreciating and watching you for bloody performance which gave sense of calmness to warriors.
