1. Wednesday Meal Program: Adult helpers needed to prepare food for 75-100 students once a quarter. (Must arrive at 6pm.)

We are hosting a Boston Butt Fundraiser. The cost is $25 each. All orders and money must be turned in to Renita Bolton by Monday, June 14. They will be ready for pick-up Thursday, June 17 from 4pm to 6pm. All proceeds will be used for building renovations and music equipment.

Ladies Ministries
Remember your dues. Seniors pay $2 and ladies under 55 pay $5.

We have a ladies meeting and potluck dinner on Friday night, May 14 at 6:30pm in the fellowship hall.

Give Christ First Place
Come and join us in our Christ based weight loss group. We meet every Tuesday night in the gym. The program is open to everyone and is free of charge. We will weigh in at 7pm in the commons area of the Family Life Center and group will start immediately after. The gym will be open at 6:30pm if you’d like to come early to walk.

House of Refuge
We have a pickup at United Way tomorrow. Volunteers should be here at 5:30 to help unload this delivery.

Our next food distribution is Saturday, May 29 at 9am. Volunteers should be here at 8am. There is a signup sheet in the foyer if you would like to help.

A Note From Pastor Wes
We are planning our 2010 youth revival-ILLUMINATE. We are called to be the light of the world and that’s what we intend to do. We want to make this event BIG and to draw as many young people as possible so that we can equip them to ILLUMINATE their schools for Jesus.
We need to raise $3000 for the speaker, musicians, advertising and food. Donations should be placed in an envelope and marked “Youth Department”. You can give it to Pastor Wes or just drop it in the offering plate by June 14.

This year’s MIP candidates will be hosting a cake auction following this morning’s service. All proceeds will help offset their graduation expenses.

We are having our annual graduation recognition service tonight. Refreshments will follow. Please bring finger foods.

Please call hospitalizations and surgeries in to the church office so that department heads can be notified.

To prevent scheduling conflicts, call the office to make sure dates are available. Announcements must be turned in by 4pm on Thursdays.

Don’t forget your pledges to our missionary, Kelvin McDaniel, and to our building fund. Be sure to write on your check that it’s your pledge and put it in the offering plate.

We have Bible Study in the fellowship hall every Monday night at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.

We have Celebrate Recovery meetings on Thursday nights at 6:30pm. If you know someone who is battling addictions, please tell them about this program. Childcare is provided.

Choir and Drama Team members are needed at a very important meeting this afternoon in the Jungle at 4pm. Please bring your parents.
