Here's my result of the second challenge:

It took me 2 tries, I forgot the <meta...> on my first attempt.

Big tuna fetches record of $396,000 USD in Tokyo

2011-01-06T22:34:00.000-08:00

A giant bluefin tuna fetched a record $396,000, in Tokyo on Wednesday, in the first auction of the year at the world's largest wholesale fish market.

The massive tuna was bought and shared by the same duo that won the bidding for last year's top fish: the owners of Kyubey, an upscale sushi restaurant in Tokyo's Ginza district, and Itamae Sushi, a casual, Hong Kong-based chain.

Charge your gadgets while you walk

2011-01-06T18:31:00.000-08:00

You can carry it inside your backpack.

The company Tremont Electric presented a device called nPowerPEG, that allows you to recharge your gadget's batteries by just have it on movement.

The product is like a tube that can be carried in a backback, and while you walk with it, it will generate enough energy to recharge your gadgets.

For sophisticated devices such as smartphones you must walk 30 minutes to gain 1 minute of charge, but devices such as an iPod Nano, half hour of walk charges half hour of music.

Caves belong to the most enigmatic formations, created by Mother Nature beneath the surface of planet Earth. Since ancient times caves were cloaked in myths and legends. Lack of knowledge about the nature of caves with their inner world and inhabitants often scared people.

Caves are capable of amazing people with the unbelievable forms, grandeur and beauty of stalactites and stalagmites.

Runescape

2010-12-31T16:41:00.000-08:00

Runescape is a MMORPG that I've been playing since 2001, although not much recently.
It is developed in Java and it was recognized by the Guinness World Records as the world's most popular free MMORPG.

It is about a lot of advanture, challenges, fights, quests and more!
Se trata de mucha aventura, desafíos, peleas, búsquedas y más! The more you train the more experience you will have to level skills and obtain better stuffs.

It has two versions, free and one that requires membership of $5.95 monthly. The free version it's like a demo version of the game, although it has many features.

This game maintains constant updates. Which make you find new items, monsters and quests.

The most exited thing is that you can go adventure with your friends, explore dungeons, kill monsters, share loots and even more!

Right now it is available in 4 languages, English, Dutch, French and Portuguese.

I must confess that playing this game has improved my English since you can chat in real time with people around the world, also you can know what stuff that is by seeing the object's picture.

Personally I love this game.

I always wanted to charge my achievements so don't miss my next post with some images of mi personal achievements!

Happy 2011

2010-12-31T16:01:00.000-08:00

2011 is going to be more exiting than 2010!

I'd be finishing my career, this semester would be the last one, I'd need to finish my graduation project, I still don't know what option to take.
I hope it will be a year full of success and great achievements!
A small list of what I'd like to do would be:

Dedicate more time to Trisfera to keep learning and innovate about the web world.
Go to the gym again.
Travel, to anywhere (out of the country)!
Graduate!

Facts - Panda

2010-12-29T07:47:00.000-08:00

There are about 1,600 pandas living in the wild.
They have bigger teeth compared to the carnivores.
Despite being considered a carnivore, their diet is bamboo-based but they also eat other plants, fish and small rodents.

They have an extra finger on the front legs.
Pandas don't hibernate because they can't store fat from bamboo.
They take care of their offspring up to 6 months after birth, in caves and in tree holes.
They are expert tree climbers and swimmers.

They are solitary animals, they only meet when they are in heat.
They are originally from China.
It may take up to 16 hours eating bamboo.

A newborn panda is pink and small as a rat, weighing 1/900 the weight of its mother.
A female panda is in heat only for 72 hours a year.
They live about 20 years in the wild and 35 in captivity.
Female pandas begin to procreate at 4 years.

They are in danger of extinction.
In China is punishable by death to anyone who kills a panda.
They only have one calf every two years.
It's impossible to determinate their sex until it's 4 age.
