It's almost June and that means it's time for the BET Awards. The show has released their full list of nominees and also revealed a few performers for the show. Drake leads the pack with a stagger 12 nominations, five of those are in the "Video of the Year" category. Kendrick Lamar and 2 Chainz have eight nominations each.

A$AP Rocky manged to pick up five nods, Miguel snatched four, while Rihanna, Justin Timberlake and Kanye West are looking at three each. So far, Chris Brown and R. Kelly are booked for performances and the show will be hosted by Chris Tucker. It will air live June 30th at the Nokia Theater.

Beyonce. Alicia Keys, Rihanna, Tamar Braxton and Elle Varner are all up for best female R&B/Pop. Where is Keyshia Cole and Brandy? I honestly don't know how they come up with this mess! Tamar Braxton didn't even release an album! She released a single.

Brandy dropped "Put It Down" and it was a hit! You'd think they would give her some place since she is starring on one of their hit shows "The Game". And Beyonce? Really? She hasn't had an album out in 2 years, NOR has she released a single. Why is she even up there?

I can see Alicia Keys and Rihanna, but Elle Varner? Really? These producers need to stop and get real. It's frustrating to see people get snubbed. Keyshia Cole's "Woman to Woman" album was really REALLY good!! That project deserves some type of credit.

And since we're putting in people who's only dropped single. why not nominate Ciara? Her singles were good AND "Body Party" debuted higher than "Love & War" did on Billboard's Hot 100. What about Fantasia's "Lose to Win"?

They better make up for this with some awesome performers and performances!! That's it and that's all!!!!

Chris Brown Announces New Single Featuring Aaliyah

Talk about being resurrected. Aaliyah's name has been very active over the past few years. From her biopic to a new posthumous album. Last year, a new song was released called "Enough Said" which featured Drake. The song was created from s demo. Now, it looks as if Chris Brown is about to attempt the same.

Only this time around, Aaliyah will be the feature. He announced a new single yesterday and said that it will feature the late princess of R&B. The song is called "They Don't Know" and will be feautred on his new album "X" which is due out July 16th. The video was shot already and will be released within the next few weeks. The embattled crooner shot the music video for the Aaliyah tribute song in Compton, Calif. over the weekend, explaining to reporters that he had a very specific artistic concept he wanted to get across in the video.

"I shot it in the hood," he told reporters. "I went to 60th Street and Cedar Block. [I'm] bringing both worlds together and trying to uplift the poverty side of the community and show them where I'm from. I'm from Virginia, but everybody comes from a broken home or being broke -- I remember when I was."

According to Complex magazine, the shoot involved about 20 extras dressed in baggy jeans and shorts in typical '90s West Coast wear, at times bopping to the beat on the sidewalk and at times appearing on a rooftop in South Central.

I'm all for new Aaliyah music, however.....A part of me feels that she would have never collaborated with Chris Brown. Furthermore, why is he folllowing in the footsteps of Drake and how are these clowns getting access to unheard vocals of my angel?

From what I know, Blackground Records is in deep shit with the founder Barry Hankerson doing all he can to preserve the labels name. Which looks like selling Aaliyah's unused and unheard vocals, along with demos. I'm sure that's the case.

All of her samples are vaulted and contained by her uncle who oversaw her musical career. He's he only one with access and the rights to do whatever he pleases with the music. Reports surfaced about and album being done last year, but nothing further has developed from that.

But we shall see how this plays out. I wonder how does Drake feel about this? I just hope Chirs isn't using this as a diss or to prove a point or something. One can't help but wonder that he's doing it because Drake did it. I can't wait to hear what it sounds like. Your thoughts?

Kelly Rowland has officially dropped her second single from her new album "Talk A Good Game". The smooth R&B cut was produced by The-Dream and written by himself and her. It's called "Dirty Laundry" and she really airs out some crazy ish..

She sings about her being in an abusive relationship, being forcefully separated from her family and close ones, even Beyonce. It's a powerful song. It pretty powerful! She even talks about being enraged about Beyonce's success versus her career. Shit just got real! Listen to it below.

Damn Kelly!! Tell us how you really feel! This song is HOT!! That tongue was wicked. I don't think I've ever heard Kelly curse on a track! But this is dope! It's funny becasue this song contradicts everything that she said in the past about her thoughts on Beyonce's success and what not.

The entire first lyrics are about Beyonce...and so is the last verse. She said that her then boyfriend, "even turned me against my sista, damn I missed ya". So that answers the question as to why they haven't been seen together or have been as close to one another for years.

This is all speculation of course because we don't even know if this song is actually her story or not. But if it is.....you go Kelly! And who knew? Her in an abusive relationship? That's wild style. What do you think about the track?

The-Dream's new album "4Play" is shaping up to be a scorcher. The project will drop on May 28th. A new snippet of the track called "Turnt" surfaced online and it features Beyonce and 2 Chainz. In the snippet, we see a ratchet side similar to that of "Bow Down".

Inside, she sings about blacking out and lusting for ratchet, but grown and sexy love. In this snippet we on get to hear her and dream, but no chainz. It's still a good listen, it doesn't scream hit but it's just good to hear B on another track. Give the snippet a go below!

DANITY KANE PLANS TO REUNITE, NEW TOUR & ALBUM

Word on the street is that former girl group Danity Kane are planning on getting back together as a group. Dawn Richard, Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex & Andrea Fimbres were spotted arriving on a lunch date earlier today meeting with a brand new manager. Everyone was present except for D. Woods.

The girls are said to be reuniting for a new tour and a new album and will continue to use the original group's name. Diddy will not be involved in this venture after he dropped the girls from his label back in 2008. More details will emerge as time passes on, in the meantime, check out the clip below via TMZ.

The release of the animated movie "Epic" is just a few weeks away, in which Beyonce plays Queen Tara, and last week I reported that she recorded a track for the soundtrack called "Rise Up". The song was co-written by the fabulous Sia. It was produced by Hit-Boy and Chase N. Cashe

It will be the lead single from the project and a snippet of the song has surfaced on he web. It's tied into a trailer for the film. It's set to be released sometime next week. But in the meantime, get your listen on here.

It sounds epic. I just know that what ever she releases, we're all over it because CLEARLY she isn't dropping an album anytime soon. She's talking about having a baby after the "Mrs. Carter" world tour wraps up. So if that happens, that's another 9 months of her being gone. Which means, she will beo ut of commission for the next year.

The track heavily uses auto-tune but with a different production to it. It's finally something different. It doesn't even really sound like him. It's about time he's pushed the envelope. Check out the track after the break.

AMERICAN IDOL JUDGES GET THE BOOT, RANDY JACKSON QUITS

Looks like the current American Idol judges are getting the BOOT! Well, with the exception of Randy Jackson. He "quit" instead of being fired. The struggling show's ratings have dipped 25% form last year and currently is having it's worst run in it's 12-year history.

Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Keith Urban will not return for another season. Even the executive producer Nigel Lythgoe will be dropped and replaced. The series is set to under go a HUGE make over for a revamped series next season. Check out the article below.

“All four are gone,” the insider told TheWrap. “They feel they’ve lost their core audience and they want it back.” [...]
All four judges have options to return for another season, but Fox won’t be picking them up, according to the knowledgeable individual, who said: “No more big checks for divas.”

E! News confirmed with a Fox source that the report was somewhat true.

“Yes, we want to do a whole new panel—but, just like last time around, it depends on who we get,” a Fox source confirmed Wednesday to E! News in response to a report that all four judges will be leaving after this season because the now 12-year-old show is in need of a massive jolt of new energy.
For starters, there will be “definitely no Mariah” next season, that’s “absolutely certain,” our insider says.

Randy has also made a statement confirming his departure:

Yo! Yo! Yo! To put all of the speculation to the rest, after 12 years of judging on ‘American Idol’ I have decided it is time to leave after this season.”

Guess who's back? Well, I guess they've never really left. It's B5! They've been putting the finishing touches on their upcoming album via Motown Records. They have been in the studio laying down track with the one and only Harmony form BOE Global.

BRUTAL DETAILS EMERGE FROM THE AMANDA BERRY KIDNAPPING CASE

IF you've been living under a rock for the past few days, then you may not know about the Amandy Berry story...So I suggest you Google it. For those of you who have been following the media, you know that she's been rescued along with two other women who've been held captive for 10 years.

Now, gruesome details have emerged from the police report about the living conditions and what has been happening inside that house for the past decade. I'm talking about everything from horrific abortions, beatings and starvation. Check out the report below.

According to the report, one of the victims, Michelle Knight, was forced to deliver Amanda Berry's child in a plastic baby pool as Ariel Castro, the alleged kidnapper, looked on, issuing death threats.

"Michelle stated that Ariel told her that if the baby died, that he'd kill her," the police report states.

The report states that Castro impregnated Knight five times, and each time she was forced to undergo an absolutely barbaric abortion. Castro reportedly “starved [Knight] for at least two weeks, then he repeatedly punched her in the stomach until she miscarried."

The report also explains how the women's presence inside the home was kept secret for so long. All three women were initially kept chained in the basement, but were eventually freed “from the chains, to live upstairs on the second floor of Castro's Seymour Avenue home." The three women were let outside only to go in the backyard, and every time "they had to wear wigs and sunglasses and keep their heads down."

Also included in the report are details about how each women was abducted.Knight said she was in the area of West 106th Street and Lorain Avenue when Castro offered her a ride home in August 2002, the report said.

Instead, Castro took her to his house where he chained her up in the basement, the report said.

Public records show that the mother of two of Castro's children lived just up the street in the 2200 block of West 106th Street at the time.

Meanwhile, Berry was walking home in April, 2003 from Burger King on West 110th Street and Lorain Avenue when Castro offered her a ride home, the report said.Castro told her that his son also worked at Burger King. DeJesus told police that Castro initially approached her with Castro's daughter, the report said. The two girls went to school together.

Castro later returned without his daughter and told DeJesus that he would give her a ride to his house so they could hang out, the report said.

Instead, like the other two girls, Castro drove DeJesus to his house.The dramatic rescue of the women, much of which has already been reported, is explained in greater detail. Berry noticed that Castro failed to lock the “big inside door" after he went to McDonald's on Monday, but she told police she was scared to open the exterior storm door because “she thought Ariel (Castro) was testing her." She eventually managed to get the attention of neighbor Charles Ramsey and called the police.

When police arrived at the house, they first checked the basement and then the home's second floor.

"As we neared the top of the steps, Officer Espada hollered out, 'Cleveland Police,' at which time ... Knight ran and threw herself into (Officer) Espada's arms," the officer writing the report noted. "We then asked if there was anyone else upstairs with her, when (DeJesus) came out of the bedroom. "

Espada then put Knight down and DeJesus jumped into the officer's arms.

Knight remains in the hospital, but both Berry and DeJesus went home to their families on Wednesday. Ariel Castro was charged Wednesday with four counts of kidnaping and three counts of rape.

That is so crazy and unfortunate. I had no words once I heard the news and I'm still speechless about the situation. It just makes you wonder if other women are help captive. The first thing I thought about was Diamond and Tionda Bradely from Chicago. The missing children that have been gone since 2001.

Afteer all of these years, you thoguht your sister, daughter, cousin or friend had perished or had been killed, but all along they've been held against their will being tourued and chained like animanls. God this world is sick. I hope these men get the punishmen they deserve.

I know interviews, and television appearances are shceudled up the ass and from what I hear networks are bidding again each other to score the first interview. Bids have gone up to $750,000. But they just need to leave the girls alone, they've been through so much already. They've finally got their lives back!

CIARA DOES WENDY

With her new album due out in July, Ciara is hot and heavy on it's promotion. The singer most recently stopped by Wendy to discuss a few topics. They chatted about her new single "Body Party" and how it's ignited on the charts. It made a top 40 debut last week.

They also talked about the album,stalled career, her social life with Kim Kardashian, Nicki Minaj, her new boo Future and of course the Rihanna beef where Cici kept it short and sweet. It looks as if she's no longer entertaining the situation. Check out the interview below.

On the “hiccups” in her career: “I went through a phase where I was just trying different things in life, whether it was meeting people or meeting new friends. … You gotta try things to figure out what works for you and what doesn’t.”

On whether she would consider being a judge on a competition show: “I’m not gonna say so much on a singing show because there are some cool things that I’m working on now that I can’t talk about.”

On her relationship with Kim Kardashian: “Everytime she and I see each other, it’s always all love. … Everything is cool, we just don’t talk the same way we used to talk every day.”

On her “beef” with Rihanna: “I’m totally in a different space and it’s all positivity and love from my perspective and how I get down. I wish her well.”

On her relationship with Future: “In this day in my life, I’m so comfortable in my skin and I feel so good about where I am and I’m very confident and comfortable with the way he loves me. I’m gonna put into the universe positive things. I’m gonna put into the universe that it’s only gonna get better and better.”

She even looks happy! And I'm happy for her. I know that this album is not going to give her the success she deserves, Hopefully it will debut at #1 granted no one else will drop an album on that day. She's off to a good start with "Body Party", now she just need to be granted a few performance.

Hopefully Billboard will snag her for their upcoming show, and maybe even the BET Awards or American Music Awards. There's so many options and she hasn't performed at an awards show in quite some time. I hope she does this year!

FRESH MUSIC | JENNIFER LOPEZ - "LIVE IT UP" (FEAT. PITBULL)

Jennifer Lopez has unleashed her brand new and recycled single on the world today. The Pitbull assisted track is called "Live It Up" and is her first official single from her upcoming 10th studio album which is due out later this year.

The track was produced by Redone. These three previously collaborated on her last album. This song sounds like it should have been featured on it. It's a solid effort, but I think it's time for her to let go of the dancing and party music. Listen to it below.

Yea, the song isn't bad, but I don't think she got the memo that the dance craze is over and done with. Hell, even Rihanna is over it. ANd if Rihanna is over it, then the world is over it. It's itme for her to switch things up a bit. I hope this new isn't packed with dance material. I hoping for a more subtle and softer side of J.Lo. She had a few tracks like that on the last album, and she should do more. What do you think of the song?

With the release of her new movie "Epic" right around the corner, word has it that Beyonce penned a song for the film along with the marvelous Sia. The track is called "Rise Up" and will be the lead single from the movie's soundtrack.

There's no snippets or anything as of yet but the song is said to make it's debut within the next few weeks. Definitely before the film is released which is on May 24th. Get those ears ready because I will bring it to you as soon as it comes to me.

This is for you Sy Michelle! The wait is over. Tamar Braxton has unleashed her infectious second single from her upcoming album via Epic Records. The record is titled "The One" and it samples the Notorious BIG's "Juicy" and Mtume's "Juicy Fruit".

The song is FIRE and should have a nice debut on iTunes tomorrow. It's a great follow up to "Love & War". This one is an uptempo, sassy and sexy number that you will be putting on replay for the next few days. The only complaint that I have is that it's too damn short. Listen to the track below.

Hot right! Tamar has the voice that just lures you. She can sing it all. Her vocals in this was just as impressive as it was in the first single! I can't wait for this new album and I can't wait to hear more!! What do you think about the song?

For the past week, with the exception of myself, the blogs and internet fans have been buzzing about Mariah Carey's return to music. Announcements were made on American Idol, the title of the song "#Beautiful" along with the cheap and tacky cover above was released.

The single premiere date was announced, and now we have a video premiere which will air on idol this week. It all features Miguel, he;s behind the vocals, writing and production. Mariah will perform this live on American Idol on May 16th and on the Good Morning America Summer Concert Series on May 24th. The song is sitting at #33 on the iTunes chart.

The diva also called into Ryan Seacrest radio show this morning to promote the new song and dish on her album details. The project will be released in the first half of the Summer and feature productions from The-Dream, Jermaine Dupri, Hit Boy, Mike Will and more. Check it all out below.

Hmmmmmm......The song has Miguel written all over it. With that being said, it's a great song. It's fresh, it's nifty and new. Is it comeback material? No in my book. But it is a good song. It sounds just like something that could have been featured on his "Kaleidoscope Dream" album.

It's a big BIG step up from her previously released "Triumphant" that featured Rick Ross and Meek Mill which was a HUGE FAIL. But this one has some potential. Top 10 potential? Not at all, but it has some Hot 100 potential.

As far as the interview, it's good to know that the album is coming very soon. But I'm sure that will change once once this single fails to impact the way they would want it to. A part of me feel that the track will be deemed a buzz single, just like Triumphant and we will be waiting a few more months. But that's just my opinion. What do you think about the track?

Earlier this morning, Good Morning America aired an exclusive interview with Beyonce that was done in London last week. The singer sat down with ABC News' Amy Robach where they heavily discussed the upcoming animated movie Epic, which Beyonce plays Queen Tara.

Lauryn Hill has quietly made her return to the music game with an official release of a track. The song made it's way onto iTunes earlier today just days before her sentencing for tax evasion. The lyricist secured a new partnership with Sony Music which allowed the release of this song.

It hopes to see her generate enough cash to fork over the money that's owed to the IRS or she's off to the slammer. In the song, "Neurotic Society" she delivers a powerful message about today's narcissistic world with a flow that's sicker than ever. Listen to the song below.

Granted, it's not the Lauryn Hill that we remember, but it is something new and fresh for 2013. I think it's actually dope. What do you think?

The first official photo of Drew Sidora, Keke Palmer & Lil Mama as TLC from the biopic "Crazy, Sexy, Cool: The TLC Story" was released by VH1 earlier today. I gave you a sneak peek a few weeks ago, it was low quality but hey, it was something.

So I don't know if I'm being too particular or specific but Drew looks NOTHING like T-Boz, and Lil Mama's face just isn't doing it for me. Left Eye was a soft and pretty looking woman. Lil Mama is pretty but not soft in the face. I guess Keke is the only one doing Chilli justice....Meh. What do you think?

If you missed this explosive episode of The Game on BET Tuesday night, then you can watch it here. It was actually pretty good. A lot of references of the older characters Melanie and Kelly were made throughout this show. Tasha went on and on about how she missed being on the Sunbeams with them because they knew how to act. The current state of the crew has fallen apart and the girls were at each others throats until Tasha stepped in.

On the football side of things, Blue gets tired of being bullied and was convinced by Jason to get even with the team, but the other players felt that he went too far. Jason also convinced Blue to figure out how to be apart of the team and not isolating himself which would set him up for failure. It was a pretty good episode and next week looks like it will be even juicer. Check it out below.

We've heard something like this happening around the time when Beyonce was performing at the Super Bowl back in February, but those rumors were dismissed by the NFL. Well now, reports are surfacing from Australia that her demands for the Mrs. Carter world tour are insane. She's currently in Europe.

The report suggests that the singer has restricted her dancer to eating only green veggies during the tour and only to were clothes that are 100% cotton...nothing more. She's also demanded at the dressing room walls be painted off white, that she gets a new toilet seat at each venue with red toilet paper?

According to Australia’s Daily Telegraph, the singer requires $900 worth of titanium drinking straws “which will be used to drink a special alkaline water that’s served at exactly 21 degrees.”

Beyoncé also requires that her dressing room walls be painted off-white, and that a new toilet seat is brought in at each venue. And next to the toilet? Red toilet paper – something we didn’t even know existed until now.

A hand-carved ice ball is to be presented to her at the end of every concert for her to suck on to protect her vocal chords.
All of the concert crew’s clothing has to to be made of 100 percent cotton, and only 100 percent cotton.

If any of those stagehands were hoping to get some Cheetos during the performance, they are out of luck. Beyoncé reportedly banned all junk food backstage, only allowing green vegetables, oatcakes and plates of almonds served in glass platters.
