Month ago I wrote the post about clan WaR's chieftain. Today I joined TaG clan channel which is one of the most popular channels in TFT and saw this.

If you were wondering is there a maphack for 1.30, now you know. It is possible to remove fog of war and its even possible to dischack opponents. However to get all of these premium scumbag tools you'll need to join ChodyLabes clan named WaR (no craft), and be a loyal member for a week. Only when your loyalty has been proved and Grunt status in clan WaR obtained, you will get a slice of that delicious cake called NeoN maphack and drophack, new one.

Same old same old. Somewhere on Blizzard's forums I've read that anticheat is on. Lets see if it really is.

Dinker's wishlist for 1.30

Reign of Chaos haven't seen a patch for decades. A patch that would change the flaws that game picked up with times, exploits that players started using to gain advantage with ease.

For the past decade (love this word) there have been inter community talks, sometimes even promises from Blizzard representatives, saying that they will eventually take a look at the old game and make it a bit better. None of this happened, often leaving our small, but still very compact community disappointed. Again.

Now when there is a word that Blizzard is releasing patch 1.30 that will make drastic changes to The Frozen Throne some of us dare to believe that some changes will be made to Reign of Chaos as well. Even myself was dare enough to create a wishlist. I will separate the list of wishes into parts for easier reading and understanding.

Dinker's wishlist:

1st Wish - New map pool

Warcraft 3 Reign of Chaos was released in 2002 with 8 solo maps. Its 2018 and these maps are the same. Some minor changes were done to some of these maps in the past such as Plunder Isle where dragon spots were remade (the great dragon was removed and replaced with lvl 5 one). This was done because back in the days Undead players who would go fiends would get 3 levels from each of these spots and they were the only one able to creep it. What this created is that Night elves and Orcs became dominant races on this map which became unplayable for Undead. And who cares how those Human players feel, right? Along with the patch in which Plunder Isle was changed, Scorched Basin was changed as well, instead of having flying Harpies now we have 1 small centaur and 2 ranged centaurs in the middle goldmines. Again, this was done to slow down Undead who would use web and fiends to creep these spots with ease. Once these spots were removed, Night elf gained dominance again.

Changing the map pool is easy. Well, if you have the maps. Hard part is picking up right maps. In past, many parts of our community tried editing maps but these edits weren't done objectively, they were more done in a way "I hate this, I like this". This is not how you create balanced enviroement for everyone. Takes alot of time and experience to create a perfect or close to perfect battlefield.

Somewhere around 2011 I started working on a map project called Rocstars. It took me, Cuborg and LoveStruck around 300 days to finish 10 maps. On these maps I've played against great players of past and present and we could tell the difference. It was better. Link to the maps is HERE

Personally, I'd like to see a map pool of at least 10 maps where players would be able to veto 50% of the maps. Why 50%? Well imagine two players meeting on a b c d e maps because they are both thumbing down other 5. Eventually player that loses more on abcde starts rearranging his map pool.

2nd Wish - Bring back the spirit of ROC

Now what is the spirit of ROC? Back in the days Mountain king was able to throw his hammer into opponents buildings, you could get mines (3 land mines) as an item on your natural expansion. You could get item called Antimagic shield (purple one) and also buy it from the shop, you could lift your Ancient of War and its armor would remain fortified, you could buy and also get scroll of mana and believe it or not, you could get scroll of mass teleportation if you were lucky enough to kill the islands on Lost Temple.

Sometimes, a step back is 2 steps ahead. It is unrealistic expectation that all these stuff can be implemented but some of these things deserve their place in 1.30. I'd personally like to see a chaotic patch with numerous implementations so Blizzard would be forced to create another one to fix it, then another to fix it better and so on.

3rd Wish - Armor changes

4 Archers, no matter how well they are positioned, cannot kill one upgraded Knight. He is faster, he costs two base upgrades, he is hard to get. He shouldn't be easy to kill. Against a Whyrm he should be food but against 3 Archers he should swing his sword and they should die or run away.

When Blizzard introduced The Frozen Throne they left ROC in the dark. With the help of current map pool (current lol, everlasting better) certain races are dominating for years because they are able to deploy certain playstyles. The most effective playstyles.

Changing armors would force collective conscience to shift for better.

4th Wish - Cosmetics

Whenever I hear someone wants to change Demon Hunters mana burn from 50 to 45 I feel sad in side. Or change Gargoyles to take 3 food instead of 2. These are not issues. These issues are easily fixed by fixing bigger issues. Core issues. Those are map pool, awoken spirit of ROC that separates it from The Frozen Throne and Armor Changes that were left like this with only intention to kill the game. Cosmetics can be changed from time to time, but they are not the most important.

However, there are some cosmetics that should be looked over. These are :

Human

- more speed, more damage and less hp for water elementals

- reduce area effect of Brilliance aura

- Cooldown on priest dispel

- Decrease distance to cast Invisibility with Sorc

- More mana required for Slow spell

- Change tanks armor, make them much less effective against buildings, but awake the spirit of ROC by enabling Human units to load in a tank

- Reduce the effect of upgrade masonry

- Increase Paladin mana cost for Holy light, improve his devotion aura

Orc

- Pillage should work for any Orc unit

- Less mana required for Shaman's purge, Doc's healing ward

- Kodo beast should have his abilities upgrade in War mill, increased movement speed and ability to load headhunter or grunt onto it.

- Remake Blademaster, illusion spell is useless.

- Far seer reveal spell should cost 20 mana

Undead

- Reduce Lich mana gain per level by 20%

- Add 1 armor to fiends on game start

- Make casters faster

- Increase coil cooldown by 10%

- DK ulti should revive dead units

- Reduce Wyrm food from 7 to 6

- Abomination should have its own spell, something like plague, not the passive one

Night Elf

- Reduce Demon Hunter Armor

- Change Metamorphosis attack type, or the splash it creates

- Increase armor of KOTG

- Lower Archer HP

- Increase Huntress DMG

- Uprooted Ancients should have better armor

- Dryad should be esnared, consumed and digested by Kodo and should cost more lumber

Well, this is written fast. And you can always talk about cosmetics. Core Parts are my true wishes.

Been thinking about few things lately and trying to connect the puzzles that world is putting in front of us. Recently, I started looking in completely new direction.

SHORT INTRO ON BLIZZARD

Short intro on Blizzard, will not go into details because it would take me a month to write everything in details. And this is not finance blog. So I will skip a lot of parts and give you only this chart, so if you are into finance it might be interesting to start digging.

ATVI on NASDAQ

Blizzard started as a small company, working as a support for other game developers. Then in 1993. shortly after Mosaic web browser went onto World Wide Web, company started developing their own software. In 1994, they start making their own games.

These games made huge success but the biggest success was made when they sold 4.5 million copies of Warcraft 3 in a single month in 2002. when game was released.

PROBLEMS START WITH MILLIONS

Now imagine 4.5 million of users going into the same pool. How do we determine who is good, who is bad? How do we make games fair, how do we hook people on battle.net? How we make them stay there for years? All these questions are pretty hard to figure out and Blizzard have been trying to make a perfect system for years.

In start when such a huge number of players went into servers they created algorithm that would match players based on their levels. This makes sense, since when everyone joins on battle.net ladder everyone is level 1. Everyone has a peon face and getting that icon is the first level of status for every player.

Once players got their icons they wanted levels to go along with them. This is where battle/net starts to meet its first obstacles.

FIRST STEPS

To hook players and give them motivation and satisfaction, they created Automated Matchmaking system called AMM which would match players based on their levels. To be precise, if you were level 1, just joined battle.net you could match an opponents who are in range of level 1 to level 7. This makes sense again because now everyone wants to be high level because being high level means that you are not a newcomer (newb;noob) anymore. Since everyone got their icons eventually, level became status.

Eventually level ceased to be status even tho AMM remained the same. This lead to loss of motivation for less good players who met their level cap. This means that they were unable to level up because they weren't the best and along with that they would meet smurfers (players who realized that level ceased to be status and that skill replaces it).

THE PERFECT SYSTEM

Realizing this, Blizzard tries out new AMM. Reasons and demands for this were numerous. Good players didn't want to play against noobs, noobs wanted to play against noobs and the best players needed a system in which they would match eachother to determine who is the best. Now you stopped meeting players based on your level. Now, the AMM was created to match players based on their perceived skill a level of performance against the playing field .

And this is the time when Warcraft 3 becomes very popular. Everyone realizes that it takes huge amount of work, intelligence, will power to become good in Warcraft 3. I've never met a below average person who was able to be good in Warcraft 3, something I can't say for Counter Strike players.

New AMM system paired players of same skill and was able to deliver everything. Great games, fair games and fun games. Noobs playing against noobs, pros playing against pros. On the top of that, everyone was able to say whats his level, based on opponents they were meeting. If you were the best, system was fair enough to pair you against second best.

EGO

Now you might be asking yourself - how the hell is possible that such great system from which everyone benefits, gets so fucked up?

People. Words. Three words. Fear, envy and hate. I will try to explain.

Imagine yourself being second best player. You log on battle.net you search for the game and you get paired against the best player. You lose. Tomorrow you lose again. Day after that, you lose again.

Now you have three options :

1. Admit
2. Quit
3. Admit by quit but stay in the business.

THE ERA OF ABUSERS AND HACKERS

Will focus on abusing here because everyone knows that hacking is like playing chess then stealing your opponents pieces once he goes to toilet. Hacking is the worst way to express feelings against the system. Hackers are the worst, the worst kind of humankind. And the weakest. While reading the upcoming lines try to imagine the combo of a hacker and abuser.

Most of the people who lack qualities that are needed to become the best, and here I am not talking good enough, I am talking about THE BEST, will not admit will not quit but will try to stay in the business. Instead of playing on their main accounts they will try to find ways to revive their statuses or to create new ones. Instead of playing against the best they will pray on weaker ones. And here starts the era of abusing and hacking.

Heard about bullies in schools? Bullies in workplaces? Child molesters? Wacraft 3 abusers? Well they all have one thing in common. They feel this combo feeling of fear, envy and hate. Fear towards those who are stronger than them, envy at those who accept their position in system and are gradually gaining levels and hate against the system which they blame for the position they were "given". They will whine and bitch over it for some time but eventually they will start abusing the areas in which they can feel what they think they are supposed to feel.

CONSEQUENCES

In Warcraft 3 battle.net, the perfect AMM system that Blizzard introduced in 2004-2005 eventually created a wave of players who couldn't find ways to become better, so they started praying on those who were weaker than them. They started creating new accounts often intentionally losing first 5-10 games so the system thats pairing them gets false impression of their skill. Basically, they would start to play once their accounts reached bottom of ELO, relative matchmaking rank. They would be paired against opponents who they weren't supposed to be paired with. Once they were paired with the elite they would be hidden behind new account name, on another smurf where losing is okay.

It remained like this for years. If you were the best you were playing against the worst kind which was often equipped with a cheat, anonymity, free of pressure, free of showing their face and dealing with defeat. Truth is, these scum cannot deal with failure, the biggest legacy that their baby boomer parents gave them.

The best can suffer. We see this through history. The best will suffer and accept his suffer so he can ascend to higher levels. The best leads. The best is Aries and he also sacrifices himself but only because he is the best. Majority, however, is not.

Once second best started making those 0/10 accounts, hacking an so on the vast majority of players who were in ranges of middle skill level suffered the most. Fairness and everything that Blizzards AMM from 2004-2005 was giving to battle.net was gone and suddenly noone wanted to play because deep inside everyone felt cheated.

BOTTOM LINE

You have to understand this. In a game where single player plays against another single player the better player will be the winner. In team games it is different. More people win and more people share the loss. Dota, Counter Strike and such team based games that are advocating teamwork are more people friendly. In a one player games the best cannot relate to vast majority nor vast majority can relate to him. The best is like an alien. Once ordinaries are sick of praising the best, they will turn against him. This concept was applied on Warcraft 3 and this is the reason why Warcraft 3 never became number 1 esports game.

NEW AMM

I truly like new AMM that Blizzard introduced recently. I like it in this time context. It is not the best possible but it is what game needs so everyone can start playing again. It also kills the motivation to smurf and to hack for the scum we mentioned earlier.

Nuff for today. But I'm not done with this subject.

Today X-BOOSTER-X, Andre, Undead player from Netherlands has reached level 50 solo on European server, leaving second player 8 levels behind. Since it is a huge personal milestone I decided to ask current rank 1 to spare some time for the community and give answers to some personal questions.

I know this is your first level 50, a huge milestone. Tell me how do you feel today?

Yes it is my first level 50, before this reset my highest was 42-44, I'm not sure. I feel like my goal is achieved but I will continue.

Ah... I started playing somewhere around 2005 that's why I don't know. Nice level!

Thank you, but today you are the star. What level you plan on making?
I was thinking of level 99 but that would take me 6 months at least. I don't know if level 100 is possible. Still, I'm unsure if I want to to that.

On your road to 50, who were you toughest opponents?

Rainy, Schappi, LovelyDevil, Hanzou, NIFI, Jesus_Delgado, Toxi and you are good as well. Perhaps I forgot someone.

And hardest matchups?
It is hard on Lost Temple versus Orc and on Gnoll Wood I find it hard versus any race.

How did you start playing Warcraft 3?

I started playing in 2005 because my neighbour gave me some games.

What games did he give you? Do you remember?
I can remember only Warcraft 3.

Why do you play Undead, why don't you play Orc or Night elf?

That's a good questions, I gotta think about that.

Well, in the old days, I thought sleep was very good. Didn't know you could interpt sleep at that time.

Back in that old days you mentioned, I remember you were playing Orc.

Wait! Someone gave me this account. I played as AndreUndeadKing.

Oh yes, I remember. You were playing that Dreadlord fiends strategy on Legends, right?
Yes!

And what happened?
I saw I was getting beaten easily. I played mass games without using my brain. It was just because I liked the game. Still, at some point I couldn't stand losing anymore so I started improving little by little. Obstacle was that I used to smoke too much weed.

Did Warcraft 3 help you quit weed?
At some point, yes since it is impossible to smoke and play at the same time, even tho later I started smoking in my room. But now I am clean for 7 months.

You skipped one important part. You told me that at some point you couldn't stand losing anymore. What was that point?
Around 2013 I found out about Custom Keys. Before that I used to look at the stuff that people were doing so fast that I thought it was impossible and that I was lazy. When I implemented custom keys I suddenly could play different. I was faster and things went easier.

Lets go back in time a bit. Back then when you were just starting, did you have any favorite players?
Don't know about any, but I didn't like to meet some players like Rainy and Toxi at that times.

What about S_A_I_B_O_T?
Oh yes... Saibot too. But didn't play him as much as Rainy and Toxi.

You mentioned that someone gave you that account. How did that happen?
It happened somewhere between 2007 and 2008. Guy called Richard, mostly drunk Orc player was in between jobs, couldn't play so he gave me his account.

Are you still in contact with him?
No but I think I have his email somewhere. We met once IRL.

I know you for long time. Still, I can't remember you ever flamed. How come you are so friendly?
I flamed from 2005 till 2012 at least and I still haven't forgot it.

Who did you flame back then and why? How , what would you write?
Hm... Probaly 'fuck u' but 'FUUU'.

And 'fucking hacker' too. But I think I would get mad just because I wasn't good enough.

And now? Do you feel like you are very good, good or the best?
I think I'm not the best player for fights and actions but I'm good with brain.

What is your biggest weapon as a player?
Well, I think it can be a strategy with secret Necropolis. When I'm fighting my enemy and he believes I'm weak and he can win I teleport to this secret Necropolis, make expand and continue creeping. I mostly do it on Tranquil Paths. People started thinking it was a cheat because I unsummon my necropolis after I teleported. It cancels the teleport and I continue killing opponents heroes. I've never seen anyone else doing it.

Favorite and least favorite map?
I veto Plunder Isle and Scroched Basin. Favorite map is Tranquil Paths. I also believe Tanks should be forbidden.

Do you have any hobbies beside Warcraft? What do you like to do?
I went to many parties, festivals. Driving car with mate, seeing movies with girlfriend. Thinking what happens after we die.

Girlfriend approves Warcraft 3?
Yes she approves.

Why did you stop smoking weed?
It made me depressed or my thoughts went different. Didn't want to have any contacts. But you must know, sometimes If I lose a game of Warcraft 3 I keep thinking about it while I'm working. What could I have done better.

CHEATERS vol.2

Pretty hot Friday after noon. Was sitting in my clan channel when out of nowhere I get whispered by a rehabilitated maphacker that I recently played against. You are guessing right. But, there is more!

Squelched, obviously. Not a minute passed by, an unknown noob-like player with Lich icon joins channel clan w3 and this happens.

Right after this little hit, noob-like player with Lich icon called FurionLookSonic leaves the channel. Classic hit n run. Damn! Who is FurionLookSonic and what is his connection to Ceron?No matter how long you are in this community, you can't know everyone. Nobody knows everyone, people mostly know those who are of their interest. Friends they play games with, rivals they play against, fans know their idols and idols know their most faithful fans. So excuse me for not knowing who you are FurionLookSonic. But, be assured that I did my best to find out.

First I profiled this Ceron's defender. Member of clan 7G. A shaman. Obviously, next step in my investigation was clan 7G. Getting there I met X-BOOSTER-X, current rank 1 and also the shaman in clan 7G. Here is what he said about FurionLookSonic

You can read right? Well, this wasn't enough for me. Booster can't remember everything, partly because he was always that player from the ladder, rarely joining closed communities on Replayers, Rocarena where bigger knowledge was gathered and everyone shared their finding and knowings about everything that is going on.

Obviously, my next step was clan RoC. I thought, if anyone knows who FurionLookSonic is and can tell me his name, he must be sitting there. And I wasn't mistaken. I met RainyMonday, immensely respectable German player, former chieftain of clan BMF and also host of BMF cups. So I entered clan RoC and I wrote this :

While Rainy was passing the word (Al Pacino style) I whispered one more respectable community member and a friend, LoveStruck, current admin on W3Replayers.com. I asked, again :

Last station was www.rocarena.com and their cute Hackers List. It was created in the dirties times of battle.net ladder, in the summer of 2012, I believe when Tugay and Jason were terrorizing ladder with their NEMH combo. It contains the names of many cheaters. Some were able identified, some got away. But no worries, we will get them eventually. Here is what it says about FurionLookSonic.

Thanks to X-BOOSTER-X, RainyMonday, LoveStruck and Rocarena Hacker's List we are able to conclude that unknown noob-like user that joined clan w3 to tell me that Ceron doesn't hack, soon after Ceron the maphacker whispered, is nobody else than TeteDeChien, french maphacker.

Now that we know who you are FurionLookSonic, we believe in what you say. About anything, especially about other collegues of yours. I mean, how could Ceron be hacking if TeteDeChien claims, with his level of credibility, that he doesn't hack? And who will we believe if not respectable community members like TeteDeChien. After all, isn't he a part of the most beautiful ROC history?

KEKO 2018

Back in the golden days it wasn't so easy to get a sit in KeKo. The most popular public channel for ROC was full at all times with users often sitting there for days. Some would not log off for weeks only to be first to sit in channel.

In KeKo players from all game variations gathered. Solo players, those who were searching an ally for AT, RT players and FFA players, Sheep tag players, trolls, CG dodgers. List goes on but KeKo didn't go on.

It died when spambots took over the scene. Wannabes that wanted to do something, anything to get attention started flooding it with Starcraft accounts, making everyone unable to join the channel. They killed it, or did they?

CHEATERS vol.1

In last posted I've talked about crazy number of players from USA servers, coming to Europe, cheating. That fact that new maphack is out since few weeks ago and that they rapidly subscribed to it just tells how these wannabes want to progress.

COMEBACK

Aprox 4 weeks ago I decided to fully comeback to Warcraft. It is a huge blessing to have a hobby like this that is fun and mentally demanding. I always liked strategy games because I think that advancing our strategies we advance as a whole. Chess, cards and video games are offering healthy competition to human beings.

STRATEGY

Imagine you start a chess game and somehow your opponent can see all the moves you are going to make. Or imagine that you play poker and your opponent can see your cards. Now try to transfer that feeling onto Warcraft 3 and you will begin to realize how damaging cheats are, not only to a player that has been cheated, but to the whole idea of advancing as a whole. Two players in one game are creating third entity called battle.

GAME OF INCOMPLETE INFORMATION

Warcraft 3, as poker is a game of incomplete information. The minimap in our bottom left corner helps us to articulate ours and our opponents moves, places of interest and to shape in game strategy. Being able to see what your opponent is doing, even just for a second, completely destroy the idea of the battle. That is what maphack does to Warcraft 3.

CHARACTERS

During battle.net history I've seen and observed all types of characters. According to their traits, after many years of observing, I realized that certain types are more inclined to cheat than others. Smurfers in first place, since their main account credibility has been lost on their main accounts. Cheaters who come from other realms, because their credibility has been lost on their main realms. Custom game dodgers who comply with last two types mentioned. The line that can be drawn between them is the line of lost credibility.

ITS NOT EASY TO PROVE

Today, to prove that someone maphacks is not as easy task as before. Like, 10 years ago, hackers were so blatant that they would click on opponents units even tho these units were under fog of war. By pressing CTRL+C while watching replay one could determine the exact moment when the maphacker clicked on unseen units and exposure was as easy task.

CTRL+C

Like every cancer, maphack spread and advanced to next levels. Instead of just displaying minimap it got more functions. Cheaters could now toggle it off and on, click on opponents units without being detected by CTRL+C, show hero inventory, players resources and so on.

HACKERS GOT BETTER

It is important to note that with all these years, cheaters got sophisticated, they learnt they lesson. They created certain patterns when playing on certain maps in specific matchups. They started to fake scoutings, check spots even tho they can see whole map under the fog.

FEAR

They are doing this because they are tired of being exposed and banned in return. They are aware that once they are caught again, at current time of battle.net that has 200 players online at the time I'm writing this, it will be impossible for them to rebuild themselves. When community is smaller, everyone knows what everyone is doing.

USA+HACK

For the past few days, I've met at least 5 different players that come from USA servers and have a cheating history. Some of these players spend great time in channel clan WaR and they play custom games when they are not cheating in ladder. They also cheat in custom games. It is important to note that these players have same behaving patterns that they had few years ago. This is how it goes:

1. They create new account so nobody could connect them with their history

2. They start playing ladder and they are conservative with their cheating, meaning, they cheat hard only against players that are worth beating but not by cheating blatantly in every game they play, no, they fake scouts, make "logical" plays and so on

3. They connect with certain types of people who are their ticket to the "elite"

4. They eventually realize that in order to become elite, they have to win elite players which is impossible for them because if they are going to win they have to hack obviously which is something they don't want because it took them a lot of time and effort to "clean" and separate them from their history

5. They start to create smurf accounts to fill the emptiness from the realization in the last paragraph

6. They get accused by people like myself

7. They get defended by people who are inexperienced, have their own motives which are not motives of everyone

8. Chaos is created and in this chaos everyone becomes aware that maphacker is back. Everyone is waiting for his mistake so he can be exposed and cycle repeated.

9. Hacker gets exposed eventually

10. Cycle repeats.

CREDIBILITY

Let me tell you this, I've witnessed these chaotic moments so many times and for past 16 years. I've never made a wrong maphack accusation. I've held clans and being part of clans that gathered the best and most respectable players of many Warcraft 3 eras. Accusing someone of maphack for me is not an easy sentence that some people just spit out when they are angry because they lost the game. It is different when you are playing the game on certain level for so many years and when you recently got there or you got somewhere but that somewhere is miles below where you are supposed to be before you accuse someone of cheating. Or defend, because defending the wrongdoer is the wrong do.

Back to the USA players and why so many USA players cheat. First of all, their community is smaller therefore has less good players. If you have the village of 50 houses and you beat every male in 1v1 combat you will look to go to the city to see how strong you are. It is common. But also, if you pulled a knife that you shouldn't pull in one of those combats, every single male from those 50 houses will be looking to beat you up so you are moving to the city again.

HACK IS BACK

Coming back to battle.net and seeing 200 users online wasn't pleasant. Still, playing without maphackers, disckhackers and other hackers was enjoyable. At least until week ago when newbies decided that it is a time to create a new hack. Talking with some people from clan 4On and then searching across the web I found out that there are two maphacks around. For one of those newbies have to pay monthly subscription of 5$ and for other, advanced one, lifetime subscription. In last 20 or so ladder games, I've met few maphackers.

Funny thing is that most of these newbies are coming from USA.Think about it.

I'd like to tell you something. Clan w3 is back with help of few old friends that no need mentioning and a new buddy of mine www.rocarena.com and clan RoC chief Adam. When we stood 7 in channel he loaded 3 bots and helped us recreate the clan. So lair is back so you should come back too. I plan on hosting some Uther parties and Line tower wars during the week and more info will be posted on the blog.

Oh, and fuck ChodyLabes and clan WaR.

In case you forgot who ChodyLabes is let me remind you. He is a filth that banned me from clan WaR when I tried to recreate clan w3 day before it was created. Clan WaR is a place where wannabes, cheaters and filth gather. If you are looking for cool channels with respectable players you should check out clan channels of RoC, 4On, w3, 7G and so on.

Funny thing is that most of the cheaters that are flooding the server at the moment come from other servers. Today I've played against CERON maphacker, an old newbie and eternal maphacker from east/west. Yesterday I've met player called HERB maphacker or something and we also know the players that are constantly dodging for custom games and are all from east/west but we are not going to talk about them much since we will expose them in the most magnificent way.

4 HUMANS A BOT AND A PILE OF SHIT

It is tough to find themes to write about when there are 300 users logged on, playing ROC. Despite the fact that we are lessen in numbers, I'm getting horny about coming back, so much that today I tried to remake clan w3. What later happened made me realized that years have changed, number of users have changed but ill characters are still floating like shit on the open sea.

Where are we? Oh, yes, shit floating, sea, 2018, warcraft 3 ROC. Channels and clans. Well before I continue here is a brief history of clan w3Roc Team (w3).

Back in 2007 there was only one major site where everyone posted replays, played occasional tournaments, showmatches, battle net challenges. It was www.replayers.com and every single notable person has started there. Now you know the history of Ottoman empire, Roman empire. They all died eventually. That happened to replayers.com as well. And the first website that picked up where replayers stopped was www.w3roc.com. Unlike replayers, w3roc was more centralized, less open for trolls and flamers and much more appealing to part of the community that was held together on the basis of respect toward eachother. Once w3roc came out, me and Chibi (w3roc website creator) decided to create a clan that would keep players together on different realms. He made clan w3 on East/West and I created it on Europe. This is all happening in the end of 2007 and start of 2008. New website existed along dying replayers and continued to exist when replayers went completely offline, becoming the only website that kept the community together for something less than a year. Similar situation that www.rocarena.com is doing for the past years. During these years 2007-2014 clan w3 existed and hosted more than 100 tournaments, few events and leagues. After I went away 1987Orc kept the clan alive for some time but eventually he gave up on it as well.

Now that is all in the past. But its huge past. It is an important past. If there is a past that I would like to repeat, I'd pick that one.

Today I tried to make first step toward that goal by gathering friends from all active clan channels in hope they will help me to recreate clan w3. So I started going around every channel's clan that I could think of. Since it was just pass the noon, barely anyone was online. But still, the will to do it in tough conditions just kept shining inside. Blazing fire. A blazing fire in a deserted home, I thought. In 3 minutes I gathered 3 friends, SUNWELL, SHAD and K1CkMyAsS_SyZz. So there were we, four riders against the wind that carries the rain, trying to get others to join us in a mission to recall the past. A huge task for such a small party, right? Well, the party became bigger in a matter of minutes because K1CkMyAsS_SyZz mentioned bots. So I went on stealthbot.net page, got one after so many years of using it and put in online with 1 CD key that I found in some lost .txt file. So there were we, four humans and one bot, still doing the same.

Minutes were passing by, but people were not coming. Suddenly I noticed this.

Now first thing that popped in my head was : Who the fuck is ChodyLabes? I started recalling all my mortal enemies from the past, couldn't find the connection. These are the moments that I regret that I am a human after all, which can't keep track of every single detail that happened in the past to just pull out the information from a locker and use it. Mind kept torturing itself with the question that continued to ask : Who the fuck is ChodyLabes? Eventually I assigned his file as 'nobody' and I moved on to another question : Why the fuck is this 'nobody' banning me? And what was the clan I was in when I was banned? What the fuck is happening right now?

So many questions, so little answers. I profiled ChodyLabes and I saw he is the chieftain of clan WaR. My friend syNtec is a shaman there. Then I started connecting dots. For the past few nights, we, the ones who are coming back, were gathering in channel clan WaR where we would play custom games, mostly 2vs2. We would get in that clan mostly because syNtec was hosting most of the games from that channel. Still in none of those games, in none of those discussions I saw anyone called ChodyLabes taking part, participating.

But there he was today, this little nobody, banning me from "his" clan for writing 'hello friends could you help me recreate clan w3'. This nobody called ChodyLabes decided that it was a perfect moment for him to become someone.

After this me, SUNWELL, SHAD, K1CkMyAsS_SyZz and a bot were sitting in channel w3. Realizing that there is just not enough of us to do what we want to do we decided to try later. So we parted way and I went to clan ROC to ist with rocarena_host and RoC.Host respectively. While I was sitting there acompanied with 2 bots ChodyLabes appears in channel and writes wall of text but this is what matters:

Nobody banned me. Except ChodyLabes. Perhaps it is because everyone except ChodyLabes knows what clan w3 is. Or they don't but they don't feel threatened by the idea of a it. Or they are just not shit wannabes as ChodyLabes is.

I made a promise to ChodyLabes. And I look on keeping it. Clan w3 is still in the past. That is about to change. And that bot, the 5th, will get first command when I designated him upon clan w3 creation.

Just to let you know that I will be spending most of my Warcraft 3 time on battle.net from now on. So mates, come and play some cgs there! That also means that I will just occasionally log and perhaps play on W3Arena for numerous things. Reasons are numerous and justified.

The atmosphere and the player poll and the overall activity of current W3A season cannot be compared to the first one. First one so much better with much bigger number of great players who would play every day. Now I log and I barely meet anyone online. Time waste, better to cg with these people on battle.net.

An average would think that we left the cheater slash abuser slash wannabe camp in the old ruined building called battle.net after we moved to a better place where these characters wont be able to exist. Wrong noob! Seems like statswhore feelings that lead to ladder abuse are still the reason for dirty actions. Spotted and busted is mosnteuhcrocs also known as dbz.Rezistant (forgive me if I misstyped his main account name).

Few days after W3A was reopened, that was last month, I joined the server after CUBORG and Viiksi informed me about the good news that didn't sound so good to me in first place. Mostly because I still have the very same opinion about platforms head admin - Pad. But decided to put that behind and do some games after he also shown some good will.

So I joined the server for some games and there I see this unknown human player sitting there with 43/6 solo stats. Being human player and playing human on W3A map pool I know that there are, beside me, perhaps 2 more ROC players that can achieve those stats. Why? Well because everyone is playing random so everyone has enormous advantage specially against human players because they can adapt easier in the start of the game. Second, map pool favors Orc and NE mostly and lately UD with addition of some cheese maps with mana fountains. But thirdly and mainly, almost nobody has so much guts to play human in these conditions because they are well aware that it wouldn't be "profitable" for their community image.

And then I see this 43/6 solo human stats on W3A who is playing in same ladder against players who are above decent, well actually, considered to be very strong in the present scene. And I'm thinking like, who the hell is this? I mean, the courage he has to play human against army of random players in the horrible map pool and the freaking skill to overcome those difficulties. Hell who the fuck is this?

After questioning myself and nobody else I decided that the best way to find this out is just to play against the guy or get a replay or two so I can see how and what META games does he use so I would have more chances to figure out his identity. First I go on Replayers, I search. Nothing. Rocarena, search. Same. Confused. Guy has 6 losses and amazing image on that W3A channel because of the things I mentioned and there is not a single game that a troll or wannabe posted after beating him? How the hell could that be possible?

Okay so couldn't download the replays then I am gonna make some. I join the channel, he is sitting there, I search, he doesn't. Actually I noticed that he never searches when there other people in the channel. Fishy. This scenario repeats for all days I saw him on W3A, never playing a single solo game.

Maybe the guy was afk and it is just coincidence. But the W3A season with prize poll for the top finishers starts and we all start playing it. After a day, the guy I am talking about has 10/0. Okay, 10/0 not hard to make even on W3A but after 2 days guy is sitting on 30/1 and I am like - COOL I WILL GET TO SEE THIS REPLAY OF THE GAME HE LOST! I MEAN SOMEBODY WILL POST IT?

WRONG! Then I just figured out what is going on after someone in channel told me that the guy's main account is dbz.Rezistant. He has to be free winning himself and abusing because... Because what damn it is dbz.Rezistant and how the fuck dbz.Rezistant goes 30/1 on W3Arena LOL?

So I talked to CUBORG telling him what I believe that is going on, he made his cute admin investigation and confirmed the doubts. Bottom line is:

DBZ.REZISTANT USED TWO COMPUTERS HE POSSES TO FREE WIN HIMSELF ON W3ARENA. LATE, WHEN DECENT WORLD IS AT SLEEP HE WOULD SNEAK INTO W3ARENA CHANNELS AND SEARCH GAMES IN ORDER TO FIND HIMSELF TO ACCUMULATE THE WINS THAT WOULD EVENTUALLY GAIN HIM SOME COMMUNITY RESPECT THAT HE LOST AFTER BEING CAUGHT OF HACKING TIME AGO.

The post that CUBORG made on W3Arena forums is here. CUBORG decided to freeze his solo search button till the 20th April. I told him that its more embarrassing to expose him like he did, publicly, marking him as a scumbag as he is and just resetting his stats, Too bad stats are not reset yet, hopefully will be done soon.

SOME THOUGHTS ABOUT W3A

Even tho I said that after season one I won't be joining W3A again, mostly due to ignorance of its head admin and bad experiences I had with him, I changed my mind and started doing some games there on regular basis. By observing the daily action there I figured out that, unless some steps forward are made, the server will go into its declining phase very soon.

The first step forward would be to get a decent DDoS protection. It is not expensive or hard to get or to provide, every decent company gives it for free. I don't see many sites or platforms today who were made in the last 5 years to get DDoSed.

Second step is a creation of one standard that would apply to everyone in community. One of the main problems is Head Admin's ignorance toward different opinions and critics. Not speaking about Roc section now even tho this influenced Roc section as well. Letting battle.net maphackers in W3A community then banning and muting people who are complaining about that is tragic. It is like if the Jews in WW2 were running from Hitler and then somehow they all ended up in Australia, sitting in a restaurant and eating together. Even tho Jews complained, owner of the restaurant said - Well he won't harm you in here, guys, relax and eat your food. Just tragic seeing Tugay, Dima, Jason and God knows who else is hiding behind those smurfs. If they don't get erased from W3A database and become legit players in W3A and keep hacking on battle.net there is no real victory by playing on W3A.

Third step is to keep people on one account. Actually, to prevent them from multiaccounting . This has to be done in order to tie players with W3A. Like it is now, they come for a game or two, like myself, create new account each time, pwn 1-2 players and then leave because they don't want to get a loss. People don't want to lose, this is what I learned from some newbie back on Replayers. I mean, he actually said that he would rather suck hackers and abusers cocks @battle.net then get owned by legit players on W3A. Yea he is an idiot I didn't want to get into discussion back there but get this: He would rather play against cheaters and wannabes @battle.net because after losing to them he would have an excuse such as lag, opponent is a hacker, opponent is a potential hacker etc. On W3A he can only say - gg you are better mate I go 0/10 here coz I'm bad I gotta learn. Lol, enough about that. So multiaccounting off please.

Step 4 is ridiculous map pool for Roc. Again and again those ugly TFT maps for Roc with this new addition that is ugly as fuck aka Ancient Sprins or something like that. Moonglade was much better map this. Considering map pool, battle.net still owns W3Arena big time and I hope this changes soon.

LW - LOL WOOT?

Don't know if I should be happy because I was right or sad because the stuff I was writing about came true. The fact is that for the last 2 days that I am trying to find a ladder game on my Lone Wolf account, I am getting this impression that the event which was made with intention to put the ladder gaming in hot spot and increase the number of good games there is doing exactly the opposite. How? Inside.

Crazy number of players that used to play ladder actively before the Lone Wolf 4 has started played on their accounts without abuse. They had their levels, their ELLs and they were playing against eachother. Okay, it was hard to find the game even then. Hard yes, but not impossible.

Now when all these players started playing Lone Wolf 4 their ladder accounts got inactive. Their true ELLs are inactive also, because they are beating the shit out of 1000/1001 newbies who still believe that Cannon towers can attack air.

Now, finding the game on my 22/6 solo account is literally impossible. LOL!

The fact is that 22/6 is not godlike account, it is not supposed to have highest ladder ELL either, but it seems that I cannot find game because it is too good. LOL!

It is safe to assume that Lone Wolf is an abuser event, like LNo said in one of his posts on Replayers. It is just, who will dedicate more time to abuse and play more games against below average opponents to get a level.

Where is the freaking beauty in that? How many good games will get to see that were played against Lone Wolf participants? How many weeks will pass before these abusers finally stop abusing and start playing for real?

Let me tell you. There is no beauty nor fairness in this. There will be played less than 10 good games between Lone Wolf participants and it is most like that those ten games will be played in the last week. So its like six weeks of abusing and 1 week of playing.

I expressed my disappointment in last article toward Replayers staff, each and everyone there, except Viiksii-vallu, who supported abusing. Wont use any hard words on them even tho I probably should because they managed to make this one look and feel terribly bad.

And to all you abusers - fuck you newbs. If there were only 5 fair and mature guys who weren't abusing, we could be gaming a lot. But nah, keep sucking and ALTQQing all fucking day long.

"NEW" LONE WOLF

Replayers guys announced new season of the most popular ladder event - Lone Wolf. Gotta say that prize money and basic stuff is looking good. However, I wouldn't be Dinker if I don't put my focus on the stuff that aren't looking that good and there are really few things about this event that are annoying. These are: only 7 weeks for the whole ladder event, lack of creativity with the player pick criteria for the final stage and last but not the least lack of experience that voted for abusers instead for fair gaming.

Now I will cut to pieces the big picture so I can bring the full explanation.

What I witnessed in the past with numerous tournament hosts is that most of them care for the event they are hosting only because themselves, like themselves aka community icons that shall be remembered because of the awesome stuff they made aka ROC events, rather than the people who are playing those events and the joy that those people get from those events. Basically, instead of being a connection between players and their main intention to play the game - joy, by delivering them the best possible way to get it, they put themselves in first place. Indeed, by putting themselves in first place they only scratch the surface of the importance which then results in players being forced to participate the comedy only because they have nowhere else to go even tho they would be more than glad to play it the other way. If the community rebels in some way, most of them, tournament hosts, ignore it and the reason is simple. It doesn't matter what the community needs dude, I am hosting a tournament! Red, blue, soft or cool, my idea rocks yours! What I am trying to say, they don't care and the reason for the lack of care is that they understand that even those who rebel will eventually sign up because, lets roll back to the top of the paragraph, they have nowhere else to go. Accepting the other opinion and especially once that rebelled, by the logic of tournament host is not good, because accepting it equals to being dominated by it. And where the hell you saw a powerful tournament host being dominated by some random dude who plays RT? No way! If somehow more of unhappy community members rebel and organize to strengthen the hand of rebellion to strike the tournament host's ego throne the host simply say how ungrateful community is toward everything that he has done for it aka sacrificed Mondays-Sundays, sexual life and God knows what else, and simply threatens to leave the community because he is not appreciated and treated the way he deserves to be. For plastic and more detailed understanding of what I just wrote just take a look at T1bc0.sVk and SWGP.

So why the hell I wrote this when it is everything but easy to draw the line between the two court jesters I mentioned and guys from Replayers staff?

Well I am bugged that an event that should spread the idea of good old ladder days lasts only 7 weeks. I mean come on! This game is years far from the competitive level, people are here to have fun, boys. Instead of having the ladder filled with people for months, gathered around the healthy idea that wont consume shitload of time in few weeks, we are having a freaking competition for 49 days. And that is not all. Accumulate your abuse powers, gather your bots and mates because you can abuse as much as you like. Lets not show the actual skill level of all players. Lets all start from 0/10 to 70/10 and believe that we all own with that Demon Hunter. And on that divine trip lets pwn the shit out of those 275/296 guys who made Paladin because it can heal units!

It is completely understandable that newbies and dummies will make excuses. I even saw that these mega skillers are writing how hard is to find games if you are mega good. Truth is, these newbies don't have an idea what they are talking about. There are, perhaps, 10 players total that would have hard time finding their games today. And even 10 of them can match against each other for great 9 games. But of course, it is better to play in chaos and mug where everyone is equal and good with their META abusive stats. Also, lack of creativity for player picking criteria is bugging a lot. Random or Elf, then Elf in the final stage is most likely outcome. I simply cannot believe that whole Replayers staff out there, 5-10 guys, is not able to look at the possible scenarios and with good ideas to prevent the worst ones.

Pretty disappointing, again. Last or the one before it I won the ladder stage with highest level but couldn't play the final one because of the trip I had to make. I am probably going to play now but I am very unhappy that I wont be able to click to search button and get matched against an opponent of my level, but some dummy abuser who thinks he is good.

But hey! It is the event that matters, not us who are playing it. And yea, if you don't like it, don't play it. Or better, make one yourself. It might be a better one.

GOOD STUFF LOOKING BAD

Replayers is advertising clan EPWP tournament that will be hosted by Ketchup and his clan mates tomorrow. Always funny and positive dr Ketchup is going to give some cash to the winner as well. Pretty cool guy/ Still, cool guy, extra cash and some else just can't make me sign up for this one.

Map pool announced for the event is Lost Temple (disgusting rmap version; more of this in future articles), Echo Isles (lol), Gnoll Wood, Turtle Rock (lolx2), Tranquil Paths and Rift Valley.

After this announcement there was a little discussion under the post. Santy, a cool guy who is hosting 4On tournaments lately, started it by telling that the tour is fine but map pool isn't and then he gave a historical advice which was to add map call Ancient Pool in the map pool. LOL! I like Santy but this was LOL!

And then an outlaw Toxi, who got banned from Replayers xxx times because he was part of French gang that deleted most of Replayers replays and comments, made an account to write that there are enough anti-elf maps in the pool. LOL!

SPAM AGAIN

Not logging quite often for the past month or so but each time I go on battle.net I try to enter KeKo. When the response comes as "channel is full" I immediately check for other popular clan channels to see if KeKo is indeed filled with people or something else.

For the past 30 days, give or take, it has always been "something else" because every other popular clan has been restricted. Obviously, spammers are hitting hard and it seems that they've been hitting this hard ever since that Dkk clan stepped on the scene. Correlation or coincidence?

Hardly to be the second one because I don't see their clan channel being spammed at all. Well, perhaps that will change after this post. Or it wont.

If it changes right after this post it will be logic to assume that the initial spammer will realize that his actions were reckless and that he has to include his own clan into the spamming list to clear his name out of the list of suspect.

If it doesn't change, however, it will mean that he simply doesn't care about destroying the other clan channels while keeping his own in good health and that he is one heartless but also pathetic freak who believes that by forcing other clan channel's doors to be locked will eventually get more people in his own channel. We have seen this strategy being played before. Without success of course.

Anyway, if you have any info about this, feel free to share it with the rest of us.

Well. It has been almost a month since the last blog post. I kinda felt sick about the fact that there are so many bad community characters around, the quality and the good guys seem to be gone for good and the overall atmosphere on all websites, Replayers in first place, is at least depressive. Apart from few guys who are still trying to push the ship back on the right course everybody else is letting the water inside to force the sink. Most of the times it used to be fun to watch and write about demonic egos who are tormenting the community but I seriously got tired of observing that. Well, that is the main reason of this little break. My enthusiasm met with the lowest number of satisfaction scale and the inspiration, that I used to get from observing the things I mentioned, is on a good way to say the final goodbye. Not yet, however.
