No Network? No Cloud

It is more evident now compared to some years ago, but Cloud exists because it is sustained by the Network and the Network is growing thanks also to the Cloud Computing growing adoption by the industry.

This sentence apparently banal and simple is a serious paradigm for which either Cloud and Telco providers have to seriously think about it.

For the pure CSP (Cloud Service Provider) the must is to ensure a secure and reliable easy access to the Cloud creating an opportunity for the Telco providers.

In the way round the Telco providers have to adopt and create a Cloud Network strategy to offer the Net to the CSP, it is convenient for both to have a network access strategy in place because the Cloud and the Network have to be linked together.

Furthermore due to the nature of the Cloud Computing the network access by other devices such as Ipad and Mobile give more possibility to the operator to offer more services to the CSP and consequently to the customers.

So I strongly suggest to the Telco operators, who are struggling to find new ways to increase the revenues, to find a strategy to offer Network Access to the CSP in order to increase revenues and market share in a world of secure grow such as Cloud Computing.

Caro Brunetta,
Bella la notizia dei non tagli alla finanziaria da un lato che si traduce nel messaggio di non pagare più tasse, ma dall'altro sono estremamente preoccupato per i tagli alla Banda Larga, noto con dispiacere che dopo il clamore inziale mi pare ci sia un preoccupante raffredamento della situazione, insomma non se ne parla praticamente. Ora la questione so che le sta a cuore, non molli la presa per favore altrimenti altro che tagli tasse e altro, se manca Internet manca un pezzo del puzzle fondamentale al rilancio dello sviluppo paese e per l'innovazione. Lei che ci tiene le chiedo cortesemente a nome della RETE di continuare ad insistere al fine di non rinunciare a questo vitale investimento.

Telefonica Designs Cost-Saving Plan, Cinco Dias Says
June 23 (Bloomberg) -- Telefonica SA put in place a cost saving plan to free up an extra 100 million euros ($139 million) this year, Cinco Dias reported, citing information the company gave analysts.
Telefonica aims to use its free cash flow to reward shareholders, the newspaper said.
