Digital Wax Works is web development shop located in the heart of the northern Rockies in Bozeman, Montana.

We're currently looking for an experienced freelance ExpressionEngine and front-end developer. In addition to knowing the ins-and-outs of EE, we’d like someone who is:
* Skilled in HTML5/CSS, PHP, MySQL, Javascript and jQuery. Familiarity with responsive/mobile design would be great. And experience with popular web APIs (Google Maps, MailChimp, etc) is a huge bonus.
* Proficient in Illustrator/Photoshop for converting designs to optimized HTML/CSS/JS.
* A great communicator, on both the verbal and written fronts with an obsession for producing exceptionally well documented code.
* Extremely responsive, attentive to detail, with a sense of humor.

The first project will involve the development of a system allowing site visitors to login with Facebook Connect and save their favorite entries from EE for reading later. We’re open to using a combination of EE add-ons to accomplish this (like SolSpace’s Facebook Connect and Favorites add-ons) if that speeds up development. Designs and UI flow diagrams will be provided.

Looking for a coding expert to dial in several odds and ends left on our site. Overall we are in good shape, we are just looking to find someone with EE expertise who we can lean on on an ongoing basis to really bring their expertise and efficiency skills to our site. First things first - our load times are slow and I need someone to dig in and bring some solutions to allow the site to land and load in the background so it doesn't take 5 - 8 seconds for the home page to load. Secondly, we want to create a more robust subcategory system for our videos. Lastly, we are probably looking to switch from Brilliant Retail to Cart Throb when we begin to add additional items into our shop. Looking to work with a responsible and responsive individual on your hourly rate on a freelance basis. Their will be opportunity moving forward, but we need to be able to put someone in place who will take the time to train us better on the day to day and keep things working in a best practices way.
