Larry opened our Greenville office in January 2015. He has been with ADC since 2004. Prior to joining our civil engineering team, Larry received a civil engineering degree from Clemson University and served as project manager and branch manager at Cavanaugh & Associates in Asheville, NC. Larry‘s primary responsibilities include managing projects and resources within his team. When not in the office, Larry can normally be found hiking and playing with his two children.

Some of Larry’s recent projects include Colonial Lake, Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park, Wallace Creek Regimental Complex at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Buist Academy, and multiple Walmart Supercenters and Sam's Clubs.

John has been working with us since 2013. Prior to joining ADC, John was in business development with GMK Associates, an architecture, engineering and construction services firm.  He has a bachelor's degree in business administration from The Citadel and currently serves on the Kanuga Conferences Board of Visitors and the U.S. Green Building Council – SC Board of Directors.

Chris Cook is a founding partner of site services at ADC. Chris, along with his partners, is responsible for the overall firm management and establishing the vision for ADC. He is an experienced project manager and oversees large projects of all types. He is licensed in over twenty states and has worked on projects throughout the country. His projects have ranged from K-12 schools, higher education facilities, Department of Defense complexes, and retail developments.

Chris has a special interest in large, fast-paced projects that require innovative design practices, unique technical solutions, collaboration between design disciplines, and true team building with contractors. He has completed over 30 large design-build projects for DOD clients.

Outside of the office, Chris enjoys spending time with his wife, Dianna, his three kids, grandchild and his dog, Rooney. He is an avid fan of the Steelers, Braves and Bulldogs and is convinced that outdoor cooking on his Big Green Egg is his true calling.

Chris is a graduate of The Citadel in civil engineering and is LEED accredited and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Charleston Civil Engineers Club. He is a member of Northwood Church.

Maureen Coughlin has been part of the ADC family since January 1998. During those 15 years, her role has advanced from receptionist to site services project coordinator.

Maureen’s primary responsibility is project administration of design documents and permit application packages. Through the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), Maureen is a Certified Construction Specifier (CCS) and Construction Document Technologist (CDT). These certifications have also enabled her to support the development and issuance of procurement packages for the site services team and subsequent administration of construction observation activities.  

She also plays a supporting role in the development of marketing materials, proposals/contracts, invoicing, and accounts payable.

Maureen, a native of New Hampshire, attended New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico and received her Bachelor of Science in Materials Engineering.  Prior to moving to the Charleston area in 1997, her prior employment experience included transuranic waste/material management for the Department of Energy at various installations including the Waste Isolation Pilot Plant in Carlsbad, NM and Los Alamos National Laboratory in Los Alamos, NM.

Jamie Cox has been working with us since 2016. Prior to joining our civil team, Jamie received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Clemson University. He previously worked as a junior engineer at BRPH. Jamie has experience managing manufacturing, industrial, commercial, aviation, aerospace, and federal projects. Jamie's primary responsibilities include property development and site design. 

While not in the office, Jamie is on the golf course or out on the water. During football season he can be found supporting his Tigers in Death Valley!

Sebastian Davis has been working with us since 2003. Prior to joining our civil department team, Sebastian received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from The Citadel and served as assistant project engineer at G. Robert George & Associates before becoming a project engineer at ADC Engineering. Sebastian‘s primary responsibilities include project site design, coordination, permitting and construction administration. When not in the office, Sebastian can normally be found golfing, working on cars or participating in car hobby related activities.

Mark Dillon is the president and co-founder of ADC Engineering, Inc. and serves the firm as a structural project manager and design engineer. As principal structural engineer Mark performs structural design and analysis for all aspects of structural systems, including new designs and forensic investigations. He is also responsible for the development and coordination of proposals, bid documents and construction administration services.

As part of continued registration requirements for several states, Mark continues specialized course work and research in wind / earthquake analysis and continuing education courses for structural failures, blast structures, masonry structures, roofing systems, seismic design, and flood loads.

His work experience includes a broad range of projects such as commercial construction, special industrial structures, numerous government projects for such agencies as NAVFAC, Corps of Engineers, state and local municipalities, and institutional work such as schools, universities, hospitals and nursing homes. 

Some of Mark's most notable projects have brought challenges that include designs for immediate occupancy structures in high-seismic zones, designs for buildings in hurricane-prone regions, renovations of historic properties, seismic upfits for multi-story buildings, unique loadings for medical and educational buildings, floodproofing, sloping sites, and retaining walls. Those projects include MUSC's Children's Hospital and Women's Pavilion, Buist Academy, Dock Street Theatre, Wild Dunes Resort Village and Convention Center, Spectator Hotel, and Trident Technical Nursing and Sciences Building.

Shelley has been working with us since 2013. Prior to joining our marketing department, Shelley received a BA degree in English from Francis Marion University. Previously, she worked for Landmark Construction as a marketing coordinator and was a freelance writer and blogger. 

Shelley‘s primary responsibilities include promoting ADC by producing marketing collateral, implementing marketing strategies, and assisting in developing and maintaining relationships with clients.

Grant Eversmann has been working with us since 2015. Prior to joining our civil engineering team, Grant received a degree from The Citadel. Grant‘s primary responsibilities include property development and site design. When not in the office, Grant can normally be found golfing or on the water.

Christopher J. Gilger has been working with us since 1996. While working with our structural department, Chris went to school at night and earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from The Citadel.  Prior to joining ADC Chris earned an associates degree in architectural engineering technology and worked for Boozer Lumber Company designing wood roof and floor trusses. Chris‘s primary responsibilities include project design and management from concept through construction administration. Chris has managed and/ or helped manage projects with construction budgets ranging from $5000.00 to $65,000,000. When not in the office, Chris can normally be found spending time with family or playing golf.

Michael Graham has been working with us since April of 2008. Prior to joining ADC as its first IT staff member, Michael received an associate degree from Northeastern Technical College and served as Network Administrator for them. Michael‘s primary responsibility includes keeping all IT related area’s running and up to date with today’s new techonolgies. When not in the office, Michael can normally be found fishing or playing golf.

Clay Greene began working with us in 2007 in the Charleston office. In 2015, Clay moved to the Greenville office. Prior to joining our civil team, Clay received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and a Masters of Science in civil engineering from Clemson University. Clay‘s primary responsibilities include performing civil design and analysis for all aspects of site development, schedule development, preparation and coordination of contract documents, obtaining permits, providing bidding assistance such as solicitation for bids, pre-bid meeting administration, addendum preparation, bid opening administration, and managing all aspects of construction administration services such as conducting weekly progress meetings, reviewing construction submittals, and performing site inspections. When not in the office, Clay can normally be found fishing, hunting, or photographing the outdoors.

Fred has been working with us since 2003. Prior to joining our landscape architecture team, Fred received a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture, a master's degree in landscape architecture and a master's degree in community planning from Auburn University.  Prior experience(s) to ADC, Fred served as a landscape architect and urban planner for LS3P Associates in Charleston, SC and LandDesign, Inc. in Southern Pines, NC. Fred‘s primary responsibilities include a broad range of practical design experience including project management, design and presentation, preparation of technical documents, construction detailing, and construction administration. When not in the office, Fred can normally be found playing golf or tennis or just relaxing on lowcountry waterways.

Some of Fred’s recent projects include the award winning Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park, Harborview Elementary School, Publix on Ben Sawyer Boulevard, MUSC Dental School, and First Citizen’s Plaza on Daniel Island. Fred has also worked on several LEED Certified projects and champions’ projects in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design.

Bill has been working with us since 2015. Prior to joining our structural team in Greenville, South Carolina, Bill received a Bachelor of Science in engineering from University of South Carolina and served as an engineering intern at Alliance Consulting Engineers, Inc. Bill’s primary responsibilities include structural design calculations and structural drawings. When not in the office, Bill can normally be found playing disc golf or reading.

Kristina Harvey has been working with us since 2013. Prior to joining our site services team, Kristina received a master's in landscape architecture from Virginia Tech and served as landscape architect with HLA and Land Designer at Berenyi Inc. before working as a sales associate and planting special orders at Hyams Garden Center. Kristina‘s primary responsibilities include preparing submittal documents, renderings and design. When not in the office, Kristina can normally be found touring gardens, practicing yoga, exploring watercolors, enjoying Charleston’s culinary delights, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Some of the organizations Kristina enjoys being a member are the South Carolina American Society of Landscape Architects and Charleston Horticulture Society.  In 2009, Kristina pursued her interest in green building and became a LEED Accredited Profession with the U.S. Green Building Council.

Ryne Hardwick has been working with us since 2015. Prior to joining our civil engineering team, Ryne received a Bachelor of Science in civil and environmental engineering from The Citadel and served as an engineer inspector for Charleston County. Ryne‘s primary responsibilities include site design and property development. When not in the office, Ryne can normally be found hunting and fishing.

Ms. Hilty has been working with us since 2007. Prior to joining our site services team, Lee Ann received an architectural computer-aided drafting and design technology degree from Triangle Tech in Pennsylvania and served as a site/land planner designer and drafter prior to joining ADC. Lee Ann’s primary responsibilities are to assist and support the aviation team. When not in the office, Lee Ann can normally be found volunteering/supporting the American Legion Auxiliary or participating in fishing and billiards tournaments.

Ms. Hilty is also certified as an erosion prevention and sediment control inspector.

David has been working with us since 2013. Prior to joining our site services team, David received a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering from Oklahoma State University and served as construction manager/resident engineer at Garver Engineers, Cobb Engineering and Atkins North America.  David‘s primary responsibilities include performing quality assurance on FAA and DOD projects, quality control reviews of ADC design packages and marketing ADC’s airfield design and construction expertise. When not in the office, David can normally be found enjoying time with his lovely wife Jennifer and twin daughters Kailie and Talia.

Gary Jensen has been working with us since 2012. Prior to joining our site services team, Gary received an A.A.S. Degree in Construction Engineering Technology and Architectural Engineering Technology from SUNY Alfred in 1993 and has served as a project designer and project manager with firms from Rochester, New York, Charlotte, North Carolina and Charleston, South Carolina. Gary‘s primary responsibilities include general site design project coordination. When not in the office, Gary can normally be found with his family.

One of Gary’s notable projects includes the expansion of the Naval School of Explosive Ordinance Disposal at Eglin AFB in Florida. This project consists of over five miles of utility extensions as well as two sewer pump stations and a central water distribution booster pump station.

Gary was the site team leader for an Olive Garden Restaurant that won the 2005 City of North Myrtle Beach site design project of the year. The project site was designed and constructed to save numerous old-growth live oak trees, two of which measure four to five feet in diameter.

Greg Jones joined ADC in 1997 as a civil engineering principal. His work portfolio includes site development projects in commercial developments, K-12 schools, higher education institutions, healthcare and military facilities, and infrastructure. In addition to conventional site development, Greg specializes in aviation design with projects that include all aspects of airfields and aviation facilities.  

In 1985 Greg graduated from The Citadel in civil engineering and in 1992 he received his masters in civil engineering from Clemson University. Greg is LEED accredited and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, Construction Specifications Institute, the Charleston Civil Engineers Club and the American Concrete Pavement Association. Greg currently serves on the Dorchester County Planning Commission.

Greg and the other partners of ADC Engineering are dedicated to the company’s continued growth as well as its involvement in the community. Greg is an active volunteer at local schools and is a longtime advocate and volunteer for many youth programs. 

Greg is married to Leslie and has two daughters; Jessica attends Clemson University and Lacey attends Wofford College.
