Low light photography is something that we all must deal with as photographers. Whether you’re taking photos with a point and shoot during an evening out, shooting a wedding party or capturing a landscape at dusk it’s important to understand the basics of shooting with low light. Photography is all about light, low light photography is no different and it offers new challenges and opportunities for creativity. Here is a helpful info graphic on the subject:

Crank up the ISO. The higher the ISO number, the more sensitive the camera’s sensor is to the light that is reaching it. The additional noise that is generated by using a high ISO can be filtered out somewhat in post-processing. Sometimes the extra grain adds a little something special to the shot. Shooting in RAW format allows for the most flexibility in post-processing.
Use a larger aperture. The larger the aperture, the more light is entering the lens. Shooting at f/5.6 lets in more light than shooting at f/18 (remember, the lower the number, the larger the aperture).
Slow down the shutter speed. More light is captured the longer the shutter remains open. Keep in mind that a good “rule of thumb” for clear hand-held shots is no slower than 1/60th of a second. Use a tripod if you’re shooting at anything slower than that, though I have had success at slower hand-held shots using lenses with image stabilization.
If you do have to use a flash, try to avoid the on-camera pop-up. It tends to flatten the appearance of the image because the light is hitting the subject directly. Invest in an off-camera flash, angle light so that it is not directly in front of the subject, and use reflective surfaces and diffusers to soften the light. Strategically placed constant light (such as tungsten lamps using soft white bulbs) work excellently for providing additional ambient light without sacrificing the atmosphere of the setting.
Use your camera’s exposure compensation capabilities. The scale on many of today’s DSLR’s allow from -3 to +3 stops in 1/3 stop increments (my 7D is +/-5). Dial the exposure compensation to the positive side to purposefully “overexpose” the photograph.

Basic Underwater Photography Tips
These are the "traditional" underwater photography tips everyone should know.

Get close to your subject - preferably within 12 inches. Water reduces color, contrast, and sharpness.
Make sure your camera flash is turned on, preferable in "forced flash mode."
For best composition - get low, shoot at an upwards angle, don't center the subject, try to fill your frame with the subject. Don't shoot "down" at the subject.
Make sure the subject's eyes are in focus.
Get your diving skills down before you start using a camera underwater. Practice topside with your camera inside the housing. Try taking close-ups of flowers and household objects.
To minimize back scatter, buy an external strobe / flash and position it away from your underwater camera housing.
Set your camera to the highest resolution, and the lowest ISO to begin with.
Use auto white-balance when using a flash/strobe, and custom white balance or underwater mode when not using a flash.
Learn how to use manual mode or aperture priority mode if your camera offers it, so you control the balance between the natural light and the light from your flash.
If you are shooting with natural light, shoot in 20ft of water or less, with the sun behind you.
For quickest focus, use spot focus mode. Learn how to focus on an area without taking a photo (pressing the shutter button halfway) and recomposing.
If your underwater photos don't look sharp, check to see which shutter speed was used, it should needs to be 1/30th for still objects, 1/60th for slow moving objects, and 1/125th of faster for faster moving fish.
Most underwater photos can use an increase in contrast when post-processing your photos - but don't overdo it.

In wedding photography, among the main factors that play a role in determining a successful assignment is the ability to get creative pictures, apart from the rest, and in accordance with the personality of the bridal pair.

Many processes that occur behind the scenes in producing a work that can attract the bride and the public feeling.

What I want to share here is one of the branches in the field of wedding photography, a how to get good pictures compatible with the surrounding atmosphere and personality of the bride. For I am involved in this field, I try to follow these steps to renew, to differentiate, and expression matching bride and groom with their surroundings. An interesting thing in photography is street photography in general terms among photographers known as street photography.

It's expensive cameras have their advantages. However, in photography what is important is not the price of a camera, but how we treat creativity within us. To be creative, not necessarily using expensive equipment. The important thing is the ideas and techniques.
