Happy New Year

OMG I can't believe I haven't blogged since 23rd December !! shame on me. Only excuse I can think of is having my hubby at home everyday now, since being made redundant on the day of my last post. My daily routines have completely gone out the window and am only now beginning to get into a new one.

Have lots of cards to show you plus a pic of my Christmas cake, just realised that I never did post a copy.

Now for some cards - this years cards are already starting to mount up.

Also made these gorgeous little keyring doggies with a kit from Cardz n Scrapz - aren't they cute !!

All supplies used on the above cards are also from Cardz n Scrapz and they have just got some fabby new goodies in too!!

WOW didn't Christmas come around quickly this year, but then I guess we say the same every year. At least this year we are not snowed in.

I now have a House Husband too, as my darling hubby has been made redundant from . They got rid of about 60+ employees this time around and are now rejigging the working hours and shifts etc in the hope to keep the place open - we'll see.
There is little to no hope of him finding another job, especially at his age. When you see young lads leaving the country for work, there is no hope for a man of almost 60!

I hope I continue to get plenty of requests for cards during the coming year or I could end up with a large stock of handmade cards and nothing to do with them. LOL

Anyway here are my latest efforts. All images have been coloured with copics.

A couple of weeks back I was at Jean's house for a little get together for a crop, chat, laughter & cake and amongst all that I eventually finished this Halloween LO - I only had one Halloween type picture and this of my dear Dad, taken many moons ago.

We also got to make a card - and considering all the laughter & cake eating that was going on, it was a minor miracle !!!

Lots of cards to catch you up on now. I am so pleased this year, I am on top of everything for once and have all my cards made, written & posted and am now only working on requests.

Next two cards are made by recycling pieces from last years cards and added some sparkles with stickles.

Two Tatty Teddy cards using my copics and the first also has snow flakes vellum.

I love this vintage stamp and coloured it using copics and tried to match it with vintage style paper and ribbon.

I used decoupage for this card and wonderful Websters Pages for background.

Non Christmas cards now ......

This card was for my Aunt who is a few young 80yrs old last Monday, I cut the 80 on my Cricut and then added a nice buff decoupage baker and a couple of wonder littlesnippet butterflies.

The remainder of the birthday cards all have images coloured in copics, of course.

Lastly are my 3 ATC's for the November swap on the Cardz n Scrapz which had the theme of Winter - I used the gorgeous Tatty Teddie stamps, coloured with copics and sparkled with stickles.

Easel Mad

For ages I used to wonder how other crafters were making these Easel cards then, I learnt how to do them & I'm hooked. Here are a few I have made this week. The first one is for my gorgeous Niece Mollie.

All the little butterflies on the above cards are Littlesnippets and all images are coloured using my Copics.

Made another 50th Birthday card last night - seem to have done a few of them lately. This image was also coloured using my Copics and the paper is MME.

Unfortunately the Clonmel workshops didn't go ahead for the last couple of months but I did buy the card kit that Jess would have given us in the October one and below are the cards that I made from it. The first one I have also used as a swap card on Scrappers. As usual all images were coloured using my Copics.

The following two cards are from my Aunts for my Niece & Nephew in NZ.

As usual all my supplies for the above cards came from Cardz n Scrapz, who this afternoon are delivering, via An Post, my new Cricut Expression 2 - YIPPPEEEE

Christmas Cards Galore

Well I have been busy again making cards, cards & more cards and most of them are Christmas cards.

Then there were some general Christmas cards.......

I have ordered myself another little pressie and I should have it by Monday. I love my Cuttlebug but sometimes I just need to emboss or cut things that are wider than the 6" opening on the Cuttlebug, so after lots of investigations I found the Spellbinders Grand Calibur - it takes a full A4 sheet, which is just perfect. I did consider the Big Shot but the only difference between that & the Cuttlebug was 1cm, so it wasn't worth paying the extra expense. I am so excited to have made my mind up and now I will have 2 new machines to play with, once I have finished all my Christmas cards of course.

And one more item I have ordered is one of the fab Smash books and a few bits & bobs that go with it, so I can gather bits for scrapping or jot down ideas for scrapping, crafting or my cards, can't wait !!

Busy Busy Busy

It's that time of year when making cards seems to take precedence over everything else, in fact I have made almost 100 in the last couple of weeks.

I have made almost 70 of those cards for PAWS, a couple of which can be seen below but the rest are on my PAWS page above.

And these are some I have made for an aunt of mine who loves Robins, there are loads more cards on my Xmas Card 2011 page above.

I also made a matching Christening Card & Candle, images coloured using my copics.

I have all sorts of cards to make this week plus my Christmas cake, the fruit for which has been soaking in Brandy since August !!

20yrs Done & still going strong

This week we celebrated our 20th Wedding Anniversary and what long way we have come in the past 20yrs - we started off living in my bedroom of my mothers house and now we own our lovely bungalow in the hills of Killenaule. We weren't blessed with Children but have two gorgeous dogs and 2 cats, whom we couldn't love or care for more if they were our own flesh & blood.

Lulu has been a sick doggy this week, with a very bad infection in her stomach and a very high temperature. She has had 7 injections in the last 3 days and is now finally looking to be getting back to her normal self. It is such a worry when they can't tell you what is wrong with them but you know just by looking at them that there is something not quite right. She has 4 days of Antibiotics to take and a week on Chicken & Rice.

Obviously as it was our Wedding Anniversary I made my lovely hubby a card . I used dcwv backing paper from the Luxury pack. Distressed a paper heart doily using Glimmer mists and coloured the image using my copics.

For our Anniversary I was given these gorgeous roses and the softesst teddy I've every held

...........And something that I have been waiting to get for 3 or 4 years now and even though I almost settled for an alternative I found my new Red Baby in Stacklums, Thurles for €499 and as it was the the display model I got it for €475 and a free gadget set thrown in - I am one very very happy bunny I can tell you !!!!

I couldn't believe it when I saw the price, yes I know it was expensive, but recently I hadn't seem them for any less than €600 !!!

So as I had my new baby I had to stop smiling at it and use it. What better opportunity than our anniversary, so I made a heart shaped lemon Madeira cake with vanilla butter icing and then I made some cupcakes for hubbys workmates and our neighbours. Also lemon with vanilla butter icing, this time with ghosties & bats sprinkled on top.

As our anniversary fell on a Wednesday, we are going to celebrate tomorrow by going out to lunch with our next door neighbours. Should be fun :)

Had to make another Anniversary card this week too and this one was for many many more years gone by than our - 60 ! and as 60 is Diamond I studded the card with various hotfix diamonds. I also used a heart shaped paper doily on this card too, this time dyed silver. I used a Littlesnippet heart in the centre too.

Next card was a granny who liked playing cards. I used Tim Holtz embossing folders and sanded them a little to show up the details. Also added 3 Littlesnippet butterflies to feminise the card with 3 hotfix diamonds too.

Have been working on Christmas cards too this week and one of them was a kit from Cardz n Scrapz

On other little thing I have treated myself to this week is the New Cricut Expression 2 from Cardz n Scrapz, as an upgrade to my original expression.

Laughter, Chat, Crafting & Cake !!!

Well the fun this week started on Sunday and what a day it was. Because the Clonmel Workshop was cancelled, Jean held a crop at her house for us to do the LO she had planned for the workshop. We had the most amazing day of laughter, chat and crafting and not to forget the most amazing cupcakes too!!!

Under Jean's excellent tuition I made the LO below which is of both my grandmothers. Sadly no longer with us, we have Grandma Perrin on the left (as you look at it) and Grandma O'Brien on the right. When I look at them now I can see that my Mother is the image of her Mother (Grandma Perrin) and my Dad looks just like his Mum too (Grandma O'Brien) Everyone says I take after the O'Brien side - well I certainly have the build and the thick head of hair, that's for sure :-D

The yellow flower is handmade, as is the pinwheel flower on the right. We stamped the scrolls on the edge of the page and then hot fixed rinestones them. The title is heat embossed.

Jean, June, Breda, Noreen & Michelle thank you for the best Sunday I've had in ages and for a great start to the new week. Can't wait until we all meet up again.

Finally getting the chance to catch up on some birthday cards. This first one is made using paper from my DoCraft paper pack win and the image is coloured using my Copics.

Next one is an easel card using an amusing piece of decoupage and a littlesnippet butterfly.

Used my new MS corner punch on this one and again image is coloured using Copics

The following card is for 2 challenges, I have entered it in the Cardz n Scrapz October challenge and also as a swap card in Scrappers & Cardmakers. The beautiful bat in the corner is another Littlesnippet creation.

Also got a start on some Christmas cards. Already have a bunch made from earlier in the year but I still need to make all the personalised cards and hopefully any orders I may get. Will also be making a whole bunch to donate to PAWS too.

Hopefully in my next post I will have a pic of my new food mixer - can't wait !!!!!

Cards Galore

I think there's a baby boom going on, I had six baby cards to make this week, plus a few birthday cards. The first card was my entry for the Celtic Crafters Comp. The criteria was a different shape card with handmade, not die cut, flowers. Sadly I didn't win but I for one was happy with what I came up with. The silver paper was a bit too shiney so I distressed it with Tim Holtz distressing ink. I also used my glue gun for the first time, to stick down my handmade flowers.

All the images in the remaining cards were coloured using my Copics. Paper for the baby cards is by Marianne Design, as is the die cut frame on the 2nd baby card. I have also used Littlesnippet embellishments on several of the cards.

More Cards & a little bit of Cake

I actually got around to do a little baking lately. I was busy using apples from the apple farm and made Apple Pies, Apple Crumble, Apple Sponge Cake and Dorset Apple Cake. So once all the apples had been used up I had to try & think of something else to make. I recently weighed out all the fruit for my Christmas Cake and now have it soaking in Brandy, getting ready for the big back sometime in late November. Anyway there was a little bit of mixed fruit left over, so that was my inspiration for this weeks bake and as my hubby wanted me to bake for his collegues at work too, I made 2 light fruit cakes.

Have been making cards like a little card factory lately. Mades loads & loads for PAWS and they can be seen if you click on the PAWS tab at the top of my blog. The rest are shown below. All images (non decoupage) were coloured using Copics and all embossing was done using my Cuttlebug and various folders.

The next 2 cards have been made using gorgeous Littlesnippet Butterflies on Papermania paper.

This last card is for a swap on Scrappers for a theme set by Pat for Autumn & Leaves. It's very different to my usual cards and keep wondering if it is missing something.

Also this month I made 3 ATC's for a swap on Cardz n Scrapz for the theme of Blast from the Past, set by Geraldine. For my Blasts from the Past I chose my music heros - The Jackson 5, The Osmonds and of course The Bay City Rollers.

Red Hair & Workshop

Only made a couple of cards this week, as I had a bad fall in the house last weekend and a part from feeling very sorry for myself I was in quite a lot of pain too. Not to worry though, as I am almost back to my normal self. This first card is for my SIL in NZ, I know it's going to arrive a little late but it's the thought that counts isn't it .

Had a lovely day at the Clonmel Workshop yesterday and thanks to Jess' wonderful talent and tuition, we made the following cards and gift box.

Last sunday week, during a brief sunny spell I went out into the garden to snap some pics of our Wild Flower Patch.

When I had my hair cut recently my hairdresser suggested to me that I dye it a copper or Auburn colour for the Autumn/Winter as a change from my life long blonde. So when in Tesco's last week I bought a Garnier Hair Colour 5.3 and it said was a dark Brown. When I looked at the guide on the side, it showed that my natural dark blonde would be a sort of warm milk chocolate colour - perfect I thought ! but look what happened, it went red !!! Took a bit of getting used to but now I actually like it.

I seem to be getting a pretty positive feedback from it, so that is good. But what was funny was my youngest dog, Robbie, for the first couple of days he couldn't stop starring at me LOL

Cannot believe how quickly this year is passing and how many cards I have been making. Below you will see my latest batch. All stamped images have been coloured using my Copics (of which I now own a full set !! yippee) All papers etc I have used have been purchased from Cardz n Scrapz. You really should click into their shop and see all the amazing new stock that has just arrived. The new papers are out of this world!!

Of course we all in the Premier County of Tipperary are hoping that the Hurling team win their 2 in a row against the cats of Kilkenny on Sunday !!

Babies, Bikes & Workshop

Back again and this time within a week LOL. Baby cards seem to be the order of the day and it seems the is a boy baby boom going on.
First card uses Marianne Design paper and Lilly of the Valley image coloured with Copics (as are all the images in this blog).

The next card is for a special little boy who is 6 tomorrow and absolutely crackers about Star Wars. Paper is DCWV and I download the image which was then coloured with my Copics.

I am very pleased with the next card as I didn't have a clue what to do when I was asked to have the bride sitting on a Harley !! I then remembered my Whiff of Joy images and cut out a Harley for the bride to sit on. The backing paper is Papermania's Confetti and the corners are made using Spellbinder dies.

Had a great day out at last Sunday's Workshop in Clonmel, run by two of the most talented ladies I know. Jess & Jean (Details of the workshops are in my side panel with a link to the blog) It was a great day, with plenty of laughter & chat , not to mention cake & fudge!!

First order of the day was to make this wonderful LO, with kit & instruction from the master of LO's and all things crafty - Jean. The photo is of myself & little brother with my Dad, taken in about 1966 I imagine.

Before my hospital stay I had a mad notion to do a couple of LO's using an Everything Nice scrapbooking kit I got from Cardz n Scrapz.

The following card is made using paper from Marianne Designs and the image is coloured using Copics.

Strange requests are something I get used to and these next two cards were no exception. They were to be Sympathy cards but one with a Tipperary flag on it and the other with a bag of golf clubs.
The white card is embossed using a Cuttlebug folder and the crosses are Spellbinders, with all the various sized layered up.

The next card is the first card I have enjoyed making in a long time. The first card I have made without the worry hanging over me of going into hospital. I used Confetti backing paper and spellbinders corner dies. The image is coloured using Copics.

As I mentioned in my last blog I had to go into hospital for a couple of days to have an investigative procedure done. As far as I am aware all went well and a part from a little discomfort for a couple of days, I am as right as reign again now and hopefully all the tests should come back ok now too. Anyway a day or so after I was home again I received these gorgeous flowers from some very good friends.

Thank you very much to Pat, Sue, Julie & Karen, it was a wonderful surprise and they are still filling my living room with the most gorgeous aroma.

It's so Wet & Cold but perfect for Crafting !!

Last Sunday, June 10th, was the last Clonmel Workshop and what a fab day it was, I hadn't laughed so much in ages and we also got so much work done at the same time. It was just what the doctor ordered and what I badly needed, a day of crafting, chatting & laughing and not to forget eating the most amazing cheesecake !! Thank you Jean it was so yummy!!

First project of the day was a fab LO designed by the very multi talented Jean. The papers were just amazing and my fav colours too! I used a pic of my gorgeous Niece and it all worked out so perfectly!!

After we had completed the LO, we then had 3 card projects to do, all wonderfully designed by the also very talented Jess. I just love the image that we used for this card and I coloured it using my Copics and the distressing was done using Tim Hotlz ink pads.

The second card I had to cheat a little cos I'm not able to stitch through card with the arthritis in my fingers, so I pricked the little holes all the way around and then used a gold gel pen to join them up! I think I looks quite real actually LOL I am saving this card for a good friend of mine in England, as it's her birthday early next month.

This next card used so many tecniques & I really enjoyed doing it, think I might save this one for my hubbys birthday in August. :)

Whilst I was at the workshop I bought some amazing papers by Marianne Designs, from Marina's shop - Cottage Crafts. They are vintage type papers and I just loved them. I have used them on 4 of the cards below - the 3 baby cards and also the Justin Bieber card.

Had a pre op assessment on Friday and found out that I have to go into hospital for 3 days very shortly, so I am not looking forward to this. Never spent any time in hospital so feeling very apprehensive.

Crafting is so relaxing.

More cards from me, but it's been a busy week. I realised again this week just how relaxing crafting is and it helps to take your mind off the stresses of life.

This first card is a twisted easel card I made for my very best friends in England who will be married 27yrs next Thursday. I just love using these gorgeous cute bears.

Secondly is a card for a swap on Scrappers n Cardmakers. The only rule was to use a charm and the lady I had to swap with, Julie, has a very very busy life so I thought this decoupage image was just perfect for her.

My third card is using a combination of DCWV paper and Papermania's Pampered Pets. The image is coloured using my new Copics.

I just adore Paddington Bear & have done since a little girl. I used him here in a birthday card for a fellow crafter and also as an entry into this month's challenge on Cardz n Scrapz. The challenge is make a card using the influence of the sun. Paddington also coloured using my new Copics.

Lastly are 3 ATC's for a swap also on Cardz n Scrapz with the theme of Travel and for this one I used the adorable Forever Friends stamps.

Just 2 more sleeps before I attend the best crafting workshop in the South East of Ireland run by the very talented Jean & Jess. It is always a fantastic day of crafting with fellow crafters and learning new skills whilst chatting and having fun.

Summer's Back !!

The weather has been gradually improving over the past couple of weeks, well the temperature has been increasing anyway and today is absolutely gorgeous. The swallows are having a whale of a time building nests too, we have an existing one from the last couple of years on one of our gables and they are using that one again this year but also this year they are building a new nest in an extra built on area at the back of our shed. Now this new one is causing out cats great amusement, they are just sitting on the grass watching them flying in & out of the shed LOL

Back to the cards, firstly is a card for an elderly lady who likes flowers, so I used Papermania backing paper and a floral decoupaged basket. I topped the ribbon off with a lovely little crochet flower from Littlesnippets.

The next 3 are all Me to You decoupage bears that I got in a kit which included the backing papers. I used the Easel card technique that I am now hooked on after Jess's excellent tutorial at last months workshop.

I got a gorgeous new paper/card pack by DCWV - Immortal Love Pack, this week and is it just perfect for romantic cards, so as I had a wedding card to make, this one was just perfect for it. The lace trim is by Websters Pages.

I thought the Confirmation season was over but I had another card to make this week, so again I used the Pampered Pets backing paper, a Cuttlebug embossing folder, a Spellbinders die cut cross and a beautiful white dove by Littlesnippets.

The baby boom seems to be continuing and for this card I used DCWV Nursery matt stack for boys and my fav baby stamp, coloured using my new Copics. I also added a lovely little crib charm that my friend Jean gave me.

And lastly, last night I made another card for a Nanny. This time I used Country Companions paper, that I also decoupaged to create the main picture. The ribbon trim is Websters Pages and the flower is by Prima, which I edged with gold stickles.

All of the supplies for the above are available with next day delivery from Cardz n Scrapz.

As you know by now I have 2 beautiful cocker spaniels who are my life and I found a fantastic young lady (Tina Ryan) who has just qualified to groom dogs and she is very reasonably prices too. And I can tell you that my 12yr old Lulu is exceptionally happy since her grooming and as you can see Robbie is all smiles about his too !!

A quick update on my health issues. I found out on Monday that I have to have a investigative op in the near future, providing of course that I get the all clear from the Anesthetist. And on Wednesday I saw my Arthritis consultant who has changed one of my tablets, so fingers crossed that they do the trick or else I will have to switch to injections. Talking of injections, I went for my vit D injection last week and also found out that I am borderline Diabetic now too!! I think I will be leaving my body to medical science because it is bound to take them another lifetime to find out where it all started to go wrong LOL

Where's the Sun Gone?

Don't know where the sun has gone but I wish it would come back and without the wind this time!!

Had a fabulous time at the Clonmel Workshop the other week and both Jess & Jean had wonderful kits to go with their classes. First of all is a gorgeous baby card - I had never made a card in this style before so it was great to learn something new. I am also now crazy for flower punches - they are so versatile and it has to work out cheaper than to keep buying actual fabric or paper flowers and it also makes you feel more creative too .

Another card in a style I hadn't used before and I absolutely love this one, so much so that I had to buy the Me to You bear stamp and star border stamp too LOL

Next is a book mark card and yet again I have never made one of these before and like the others, I will definitely be doing them again in the future. Thank you Jess for teaching me some new tricks, you are very creative and very patient too.

And now for the LO made using kit & instructions from the very talented Jean. The picture in this LO is actually my husband's great grandparents.

And the Communion season continues - it is so hard to keep coming up with something new, so this year I have tended to stick with the same style using my Marianne Embossing Folder on all of them. The two images on these are both WOJ and the backing papers are Papermania.

Finally is an 8x8 card for a Ruby Wedding Anniversary. I used DCWV Roses paper and a gorgeous sparkly vellum I got from Cardz n Scrapz. The image is Country Companions.

Whilst I was at the workshop I was using a couple of Copics that I had as a tester to see how I got one and I have to say that I fell in love with them. So much so that I actually sold all 108 Pro Markers and bought a 72 pack of Copics and I am absolutely smitten with them!! I love the gentle way you can build up the colour with them and the brush tip they have too.

A few from me

Just a few from me. All images have been coloured with Promarkers and all supplies from Cardz & Scrapz.

I finally got around to finishing the mini book that I started at Jean & Jess's workshop last month. I filled it with photo's from NZ and will be sending it over to them as a momento.

Lastly are some ATC's in an Oriental theme for a swap on Cardz n Scrapz organized by Mary. I used Papermania Oriental paper and I think they are Papermania stamps too, which I embossed in gold.

I haven't been very well of late - the perils of a woman heading to her 50's I expect but just to make sure I am waiting on a hospital appointment for further investigations. But I can honestly say that now I am feeling better I can't quite believe just how bad I was and in fact how frightened I was. A couple of times in the last 3 weeks I actually thought I was going to die. Thankfully I live to tell the tale and I am so thankful for all the love, help & support I had from my darling husband, I don't know how I would have coped without him. My doctor was also very good and was always at the end of the phone if I needed her.

On a much happier note, I am off to Jean & Jess's workshop in Clonmel on Sunday and can't wait - it's so nice to meet up with like minded people for a chat and to learn a few new crafting tricks too of course!!

Cards & Flowers

My first card today is for a gorgeous little girl who has just turned one, Happy Birthday Saoirse. I used Papermania Confetti backing paper, a MoManning Stamp and ProMarkers. The little candle is a Littlesnippet.

My 2nd item is made from a Kit by Jess. I made it for Amy, my next door neighbour and as you see I filled it with 3 cream eggs - luckily there were 6 in the box I bought, so I got to have 3 for myself LOL

Another kit card from Jess - this time I had to follow a sketch and add my own image - I just adore Paddington Bear and have done since I was a small child - I always used to watch the animated stories on the tv LOL Paddington was coloured using ProMarkers.

The following ATC's are for the April swap on Cardz n Scrapz run by Niamh and one of the options was Monochrome. I used flowers from my stash and decorated them with Diamond Dust and then added some gems using my iRock.

In March I ran a Tag swap on Scrappers n Cardmakers and then in April the card swap was to include the tag that was sent to you in March and return it back to the maker. My tag was made by Pat and I matched it to Birdsong backing paper and cut a border using my Blossom Trim MS punch.

I have been meaning to make the next card for the last few weeks but kept getting side tracked. It is for my neighbours on the left hand side, who had a new baby boy a few weeks back and if he is anything like his brother, he will adorable!!

Last but no means least is a card I made last night for a mother who shares her birthday with her young daugher. I used Papermania backing paper and my Marianne Design Embossing Folder.

Now for a few pictures I took the other day in my garden and a couple of my fur babies - Robbie & Lulu :)

Cards Galore !!

Well the sun came out and my mojo was back in spades !! The first 3 cards are A6 Thank You cards I made using a Marianne Die - Branch G and flowers from my stash. Gems were fixed using my iRock.

All the following stamped images were coloured with ProMarkers & Copics. Yes I am slowly being converted to Copics - only have 9 or 10 at the moment though. They are very different to the ProMarkers and I really like the brush tip on them.

Two Thinking of You cards for very good friends of ours who are having a very difficult time of it at the moment. You know who are are and we are thinking of you all with fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

This has to be my fav 1st Holy Communion card of this year. I used a WOJ stamped image placed on a background embossed using a Marianne Embossing folder.

Some Forever Friends Decoupage Easter Cards that were made just a little too late to be sent out, however, it does mean I have a head start on next year LOL

Haven't been in the best of form recently so hence the long gap in my posts. Should be back to normal soon, so in the meantime here are some of my recent creations.

And now for some baking. It was Amy's birthday a couple of weeks back so I made her a birthday cake as a present from us & also a undecorated for ourselves. It was the first cake I had decorated in 16yrs but it seemed to be OK.

For an absolute age I have been looking for an easel to stand my cards on for taking pictures and I found the ideal one at Cork Art Supplies

First pic is showing the start of our veg & fruit garden & then a couple of my lovely doggies.

2nd post of the Day

Nothing for over a week and then 2 together - just like the buses LOL

Backing paper on this first one is from Papermania Pampered Pets and the images are cut from my Cricut. The dress is a Littlesnippet. The white card is from Core-dinations- WhiteWash and is embossed using a Cuttlebug folder which I then lightly sanded to show the internal colour. The card was for a lady who owns a bookshop but also loves fashion. The pile of books was cut on the Cuttlebug.

The following card was for a Carpenter. Embellishments and paper from my stash, image coloured using my ProMarkers and white card was again Core'dinations White Wash, this time embossed using a Tim Holtz folder and lightly sanded.

The paper did most of the work for me on this card - it is from DCWV Nanna's for Boys matt stack and then I stamped the image from this fab new set on Cardz n Scrapz, coloured it using my ProMarkers.

I have made two others also but can't show them to you yet as the recipient reads my blog & I wouldn't want to spoil her surprise now would I :)

I also made some Cupcakes for St. Patrick's Day. They are Almond flavour decorated with Vanilla cream cheese Icing and Shamrock sprinkles.
