2012-07-23T22:11:00.000-04:00

GardenGrocer.com Best Grocery Delivery in Disney

Grocery delivery to Disney World is made simple with Garden Grocer. Garden Grocer is one of the best grocery stores that deliver to Walt Disney World resorts. You can save yourself at lot of time with Garden Grocer. It will also save you money over purchasing groceries at the Disney World resorts.

Garden Grocer Delivery Information

Go online to Garden Grocer and order your grocery delivery to your Disney World resort the week before you leave home. Pick the delivery date and time that works for you. You must order a minimum of 36 hours in advance but, 72 hours or more is preferred to ensure a delivery window that works best for you. Garden Grocer charges $12 for delivery and offers free delivery for orders over $200. The minimum order is $40.

Garden Grocer Delivery Tips

During checkout you will be shown a calendar to choose your delivery date and 2 hour delivery window. You should give them your cell phone number and a Garden Grocer driver will call you 30 minutes prior to delivery to coordinate your delivery.
Garden Grocer delivers groceries to all Disney and Universal resorts as well as rental homes and other hotels in central Florida.

Garden Grocer Information for Disney Resort Guests

Here is some additional information for Disney resort guests:
Use the address of your resort from your reservation confirmation. Here is an example :

Jane Doe, Guest
Disney’s Beach Club Villas
4600 N. World Drive
Lake Buena Vista, FL 32820

*Including your cell phone number is also HIGHLY recommended.

You do not have to be in your room for delivery for most resorts. The following resorts offer bell service drop off for Garden Grocer. Just call down to bell services to have your groceries brought up or if your room is ready they may have them in your room already.
- Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Swan and Dolphin Resorts
- Disney’s Polynesian
- Grand Floridian
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort (Bay Lake Tower)
- Coronado Springs
- Beach Club
- Disney’s Yacht Club
- Disney’s Bonnett Creek
- Disney’s Boardwalk Resort

If you are at another resort I recommend choosing a delivery time after you will be checked in and know your room number. When they call before delivery give them the room number and make sure an adult is in the room to receive the groceries. Check with Garden Grocer if you have any other specific questions about grocery delivery to Disney World.

Deliveries are made 7 days a week between 8am and 9pm.

All Disney resorts have refrigerators in their luggage rooms to safely store your perishables until you arrive. If you are not going to a Disney resort you can call the hotel to ask them about their facility for storage or make sure delivery will be after you arrive.

It is recommended that you order 1/2 gallons of milk unless you are in a 1 or 2 bedroom villa because of the refrigerator size in the room.

If you only need baby items such as diapers and baby food then you might want to check out BabiesTravelLite.com. They deliver to all of Disney, Disney Cruise Line, and any where in the country.

Be sure to get lots of other great tips by booking your trip with Magical Memory Planners, the official travel agency of Disney Diva Tips. On your next Disney World vacation enjoy grocery delivery to your Disney World resort or villa from Garden Grocer and have a magical vacation!

Happy Thanksgiving!

2010-11-25T08:00:00.001-05:00

I just want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving. I am so thankful this year! Maybe more than most because I have a new sense of what is important and what I need. I am thankful that I am with everyone who is most important to me today and that I have everything I need. God has provided so much for us, especially in the last month and am truly thankful.

On a lighter note...if you are not one of the crazies (just kidding) who love to do Black Friday shopping at 4am in the cold then you might want to check out the Cyber Monday 2-day sale at Amazon.com on Sunday/Monday the 28th-29th. They will also have lots of hot holiday deals starting 11/30 and going right until 12/23 (for the last minute shoppers).

I hope you have a magical Thanksgiving with those you love.

Top 10 WDW Rides for Teenagers

2010-10-19T09:00:00.000-04:00

You may think Walt Disney World is only for kids but anyone who has been there will tell you there are lots of cool things for teenagers too. You just have to know what to do. There are more rides than this that they will like but these are the best.

1. Big Thunder Mountain Railroad - Magic Kingdom - Not the scariest roller coaster but a lot of fun anyway.

2. Splash Mountain - Magic Kingdom - This is a fun ride with lots of drops but the most impressive is the 5 story drop near the end. You will most likely get wet too!

3. Space Mountain - Magic Kingdom - This roller coaster is all inside, in the dark. That adds a new dimension.

4. Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin - Magic Kingdom - This is like going on a video game ride. You get to shoot with your laser gun and the ride will keep score for you.

5. Soarin' - The Land in Epcot - This ride gives you the feeling of hang gliding. Only Disney can bring the sights, sounds, and smells to life.

6. Mission Space - Epcot - This ride is not for the faint of heart. It is pretty wild. They actually have two versions if the more adventurous version is too much.

7. Rock N Roller Coaster - Hollywood Studios - There is nothing like 0-60 in 2.8 seconds while rocking to Aerosmith. We love this ride.

8. Tower of Terror - Hollywood Studios - Enter the twilight zone on this ride as you ride in the elevator and eventually drop 13 stories.

9. Dinosaur - Animal Kingdom - This is a very adventurous ride back in time.

10. Expedition Everest - Animal Kingdom - This is the newest roller coaster that will take you around Mount Everest as you escape from the Yeti.

I want to hear from the teenagers out there. What are your favorite rides? I know I didn't cover all the rides teenagers would love so I would love to hear what ones you think should have made the list.
