Dues are Due by March 31st and time does fly. Since most of the clubs only meet twice a month and depending on the weather we have been having this winter, there might be even less opportunities for the Treasurers to get the dues collected. To avoid the "DUES BLUES" please encourage your clubs to start collecting the dues and submit as they receive. This dues period is very crucial as it will be an indicator whether the club is already distinguished, depending on the membership and DCP goals achieved and how much more work/effort needs to be added to achieve the success.
How to Pay the Membership Dues
Posted February 28, 2014
Your membership renewal dues list will be available February 28, 2014 on the Toastmasters International website.
To submit renewals online, go to www.toastmasters.org/clubcentral and log in using your personal username and password.
Click on your club name and number to pay renewals.
Under Conduct Club Business, click on the option Pay dues.
Once on this page, simply select the option of "in the future." This will pull up all orders with a future membership end date.
Select the members you wish to pay for and follow the prompts to submit payment.
Consider these important details when processing membership payments:
Renewals can be submitted online, by mail or by fax.
Do not submit renewals by email, because financial information in an email is not secure.
Dues renewals can be paid online if paying by credit card.
If paying by check, print the Pay dues screen indicating the renewing members and mail it, along with payment, to Toastmasters International. Make checks payable to Toastmasters International.
To remain in good standing the minimum requirements are: at least eight members must pay dues and three must be renewing.
The due date for paying April dues is April 1, 2014.
If you have any questions, please contact Member Services at email@example.com
or call 949-858-8255.
Program Dates: February 1 – March 31
Toastmasters love to talk, so take advantage of it. During the "Talk Up Toastmasters!" membership contest, you can encourage your members to invite guests to a special meeting where regular procedures are augmented by a discussion of Toastmasters' many benefits. Add five new, dual or reinstated members to your roster between February 1 and March 31 to receive a special "Talk up Toastmasters!" ribbon to display on your club’s banner. Membership applications and payment for members who join between February 1 and March 31 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than March 31. Each member's join date as listed on the application must be in February or March. Transfer and charter members do not count for credit. In addition to the ribbon, qualifying clubs will also earn a special discount code for 10% off their next club order. Discount code expires six months from date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.
Please share with your clubs as soon as possible.

Every club has to have at least four officers (and preferably all seven) trained twice a year to get credit for the #9 goal from the Distinguished Club Program (DCP). The schedule for our winter TLI's appears below (more information will be posted on our January and February events when available). You may also download the Winter TLI flyer.

Now is the time to start thinking about our District’s future leadership. District elections involve identifying the district’s long-term goals and selecting the best people for the available officer positions. Who can best help us meet our district’s goals?

Stories are what teach, connect, and inspire us. We're eager to tell our own stories to others, and we seek out stories that move and inspire us. In Our Own Words allows our members tell stories of their trials, their victories, and the dreams they still pursue. Perhaps they will help you change, too. Watch for us in your mail and enjoy us, but most important, share with us. Send the story you'd like to tell to PRO Christine Hobbs, and let us know what you'd like to see at Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter.
