Rock Hill School Board Chair, Jim Vining, announced at tonight's Rock Hill School District Business Meeting, that he would not be running for re-election in November. This will open up an at-large seat for the first time in 20 years.

Vining said, "It has been a pleasure serving with this and past boards, who have worked hard to make our schools better. It is time for a younger generation to step up and lead. I will be happy to discuss this with anyone or any group. I am announcing early so folks will have plenty of time to make a decision."
