“Disney Dreams” will combine elements from Walt Disney World and Disneyland’s “The Magic, The Memories, and You” show, as well as Disney California Adventure’s nighttime spectacular “World of Color.” The show, which will follow the adventures of Peter Pan’s shadow as it interacts with over a dozen classic Disney and Pixar films, will feature castle projections, water screens, dancing fountains, pyrotechnic displays, and laser effects. 30-foot tall water screens installed in the moats in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle will play Disney animated scenes set to an original score, while video projections will play on the castle itself. Some of the classic stories that guests can expect to see in the new show include Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Cinderella, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, The Lion King, Toy Story, Lilo & Stitch, Finding Nemo, Wall-E, The Princess and the Frog, Tron, and Tangled.

The current Disneyland Paris daytime parade, “Once Upon a Dream,” will be revamped to become the nighttime parade “Disney Magic on Parade.” The parade will feature all-new music, costumes, and choreography, as well as new first and last floats. Beginning the parade will be two carriages carrying Sleeping Beauty and Cinderella, along with their princes. The grand finale float will feature Mickey Mouse and other Disney characters in Sorcerer’s Apprentice-inspired costumes.

Born in New Orleans, Disney was currently living in Toluca Lake, California, where she served as vice chairman of Shamrock Holdings, the investment company of the Roy E. Disney family. Disney had previously served as former regent of St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA, a past member of the board of the Peregrine Fund in Boise, ID, and a former trustee of Occidental College.

Patricia Disney married Roy E. Disney, former vice chairman of the Walt Disney Company, in 1955, and the couple divorced in 2007. Roy E. Disney passed away in December 2009.

“On behalf of everyone at The Walt Disney Company, we mourn the loss of Patty Disney. Her passing marks a sad milestone for the Disney family, and we will always remember her irrepressible spirit and dedication to our company. Patty was known for her kindness, outgoing nature and especially for her philanthropy and will be missed by all who knew her.”

Among Patricia’s legacies is the Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center in Burbank. The Disney family seeded the center, which is an outpatient center for cancer patients, with a $10 million donation.

“All of us at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center are profoundly saddened to learn we have lost Patricia Disney, a wonderful and compassionate woman who shared our vision to provide the best possible care for cancer patients,” said Barry Wolfman, the hospital’s chief executive.

“She and her family have left our community a tremendous gift, a cancer center that provides compassionate care to patients at their most vulnerable,” he said. “Her contributions are evident within the walls of this center, a place of healing. Our prayers are with Patricia’s family, as is our gratitude.”

Disney’s survivors include her children Roy Patrick Disney, Susan Disney Lord, Abigail Disney, and Timothy Disney, as well as 17 grandchildren. A memorial website for Patricia Disney has been set up at www.welovepatty.com.

The magazine will launch February 9, and will be a test for whether print titles are viable for other countries. Lane Merrifield, one of three co-founders who created Club Penguin, says:

This type of printed magazine for kids is certainly more popular in the UK than elsewhere in the world. We get literally tens of thousands of pieces of artwork sent to us every month which we share on the site and give kids points in-world. It’s imperative that we also have kid-created content in the magazine as well.

Rather than judge the success of the magazine by the number of magazines sold per month, Disney instead will calculate how many of the game codes and “extras” included with the magazine are redeemed online. The magazine will retail for £2.99.

According to the lawsuit, Lajeski was fired around June 15, “without specifying any cause for the termination and providing no opportunity to cure.” The lawsuit also explains that Lajeski’s contract was not set to expire until 2013.

When Lajeski was first hired, he started out as the vice president of music marketing, and helped create the successful soundtrack for O Brother, Where Art Thou? as well as the soundtracks for Coyote Ugly, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Armageddon. Eventually, he was promoted to executive vice president.

As of this writing, Disney has yet to comment on the lawsuit. We’ll keep you informed with any information that comes through.

The 15 year old plays Lexi on the Disney Channel series A.N.T. Farm, but got her start in a production of Annie. Since then, Scott has gone on to star in several commercials, print work, vocal performances and theater productions.

Her breakout role was in 2009’s Beethoven’s Big Break, and went on to guest star in several television shows including Chuck and The New Adventures of Old Christine. The Disney Channel Original Movie Frenemies, which debuted January 13, saw Scott in a starring role in the film. Her song “Pose” was featured in the movie, and can also be found on the A.N.T. Farm soundtrack.
