Hello!

So I'm finally getting around to posting about my new hair, I've had it coloured for over a week now, and I'm truly in love!

So I went to my local hair dressers and after 5 hours my hair was transformed. I had to go blonde before I went red because my hair was so patchy from putting dye over dye over dye. Then I went red they used Fudge Dye and i'm in love!

So now onto the picture...

So I'm very happy with the colour and I will keep it up, this is the most daring colour I've been and I'm hooked.

If you follow me on Twitter you'll know that I went back to Weight Watchers last week, and I went back today and this week I have lost 7 and a half pounds!!!! I'm so proud of myself!!!! How are your diets going? What's helping you lose weight? Mine has been juicing carrot, apple, ginger and lemon juice is amazing! But I shall do a post on that next week!

And I'm totally loving the new Weight Watchers advert, with Alesha Dixon! Have you seen it?!

17 Peep Show Mascara Review.

Howdy!

So I was browsing through Boots the other day and I saw that 17 had come out with a new Mascara the pretty pink packaging definitely drew me too it. It was only £5.29 as an introductory price, normally £6.29. When you brought the mascara you get a free Peep Show eye palette that has 4 beautiful colours, but I'll come to that in a minute.

So the Mascara is meant to have lengthening fibres so you get extra long lashes, what girl wouldn't want extra long lashes? So I was sold and I couldn't wait to get home and have a try I didn't think I would have been wow'ed by this mascara but wasn't I wrong?! It made my eye lashes super long and basically does what it says on the tin! I'm so impressed with this mascara that it's certainly up there in my top 4 mascaras!

Has anyone else tried this mascara? What are your thoughts? If not... WHAT are you waiting for?!

Now onto the palette....

So again you get that pretty girlie pink packaging very compact, very handy.

They are easy to work with, beautiful colours and super blendable, what more could you want?

I'm very pleased with the collection from 17 and would LOVE to see more, if they do more?

Foggy Mirror, no more!

Fed up when you go for a shower/bath and your mirror gets super foggy you can't see yourself to put your makeup on? cream your face? Well no more!

Its simple.

Get a slice of cucumber...

And wipe it all over your foggy mirror...

And no more foggy mirror...

An Explanation and a Merry Christmas!

Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to write a quick post to explain why I haven't been blogging and twittering, I have come down with Bronchitics and I'm feeling very much under the weather. But hopefully now I have some antibiotics and an inhaler (I had to youtube how to use it, LOL how silly?!) I will be better!

Boots Star Gift: Soap and Glory Big Splendour

So Christmas is super near, are you excited? Because I am!
If you follow Boots they start doing their 'Star Gift' from the start of October, i believe. And basically they pick one of their top selling Christmas set and drop the price to give you a great Christmas gift or just something great for yourself! Feel Unique Beauty Box December

Hello all!

Ive been patiently waiting for Feel Unique's Decemeber Beauty box! It finally arrived today, and there is some great products in there.

So what are the goodies we have in the box this month....

1) Living Nature Samples - You have 3 different samples a Cleanser, Toning Gel and a day cream I love trying skincare products so i'm exciting

2) Annick Goutal Mandragore Eau De Toilette - This is a great sample size perfume it's 25ml but the scent is so NOT me, its super musky and I don't like that. I'm giving it to my Mum for christmas, haha!

3) Figs and Rouge Sweet Geranium Organic Balm - I love the scent of this, its a multi purpose balm for all your dry bits from your lips to elbows. This has come at the right time because my lips are super chapped at the moment, I have used this already and it's super moisturising I think I'm going to like this.

4) Nails Inc Nail Polish 'Oxford Circus' - This is a lovely baby pink, not really a colour for this season but will be perfect for summer! Plus you can't go wrong with a Nail Inc polish.

5) Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust - I'm currently on the fence with these kind of products if its anything like the Schwarzkopf Professional OSIS+ Dust that came with last months box I wont like it, but fingers crossed it isn't!

6) Clarisonic Cleanser - I've been wanting to try a Clarisonic cleanser since I got my Clarisonic so I look forward to testing this. I used it tonight and my skin feels super soft. So hopefully it doesn't make my skin breakout!

I liked this box apart from the perfume, I was a little disappointed that there wasn't any make-up products in this months box but over all some great products that I cant wait to try!

NOTD Natural Gold

Just a quick post to show you my nails, I havent done a NOTD post for a while, so here it is!

Its pretty simple, a natural colour as the base and a gold glitter on top, but I love it! It makes me feel all festive!

The nail polishes I used were, Nails Inc Bristol and Nails Inc Shelton Street. I'm loving Nails Inc nail polishes at the moment, they go on like a dream!!

Off Topic - Happy Birthday Dad.

Hello, hope your all having a good week.

This post is very off topic then all the other posts on this blog, but I feel I need to sit down write and let my feelings out. I thought this would be the best place to do it.

So today, 7th December is my Dad's birthday, well would of been. He would of been 54 if you didn't know but my Dad sadly passed away on 29th June 2010. And big days like these break my heart and are such a struggle to get through. I try and put a brave face on but sometimes that's hard with this big lump in my throat. I just wish he was still here, even if it was just for one more day, just today so I could say happy birthday to him. He was taken away too soon and a lot of unsaid words that still go around in my head haunt me to this day.

If he could read this, I would wish him the biggest HAPPY BIRTHDAY ever. We had our ups and downs mainly downs but if I could turn back the hands of time I would but I can't so some big lessons were learnt from my experience and I wouldnt wish them on my worse enemy.

Rest In Peace Dad, Remembering you is easy, I do it everyday. Missing you is the heartache that never goes away.

Front Cover Eye Popping Palette

Hello!

So I went shopping the other day and when the Christmas season comes along I always look forward to the Front Cover sets that come out.

I brought two and one of them I brought was the Eye Popping Palette. It comes with 18 shadows, a double ended eye shadow brush and a cheek brush. Sadly the cheek brush was missing from my palette and I didn't realise until I got it come :(! I love this palette it has some awesome colours they are all shimmer and glitter colours and they are super pigmented! Perfect for the festive season and all of the eye shadows have names which is a bonus too! The cover of the palette is kaleidoscope and the eyes open and close (sadly I couldn't get a good picture of this, damn camera! Can't wait for my new one I'm getting for Christmas, yayyy for better pictures!) and on the back Front Cover's make-up artist gives you step by step instructions on how to create the look.

So here is a swatch of all the colours!

This is a perfect compact to travel with as its pretty small and it comes with a huge mirror! I'm totally in love and you will see some looks I do with this very soon!

Favourite Winter Nail Polishes.

Hello!

So I've become nail obsessed again, I got through phrases of not bothering with my nails and then constantly painting my nails, I'm currently going through one of them phrases right now. So I'm going to share with you my favourite winter shades.

So from left to right we have; Models Own 'Purple Grey', GOSH 'Blue Monday', Barry M 'Mushroom' and FrontCover no name.

Models Own Purple Grey
I love this colour, I think it has to be up then in my top 3 favourite nail polishes ever, its a beautiful deep purple/grey shade just as the name says. It's easily applied just like all of the Model's Own polishes and whenever I wear this I always get compliments on my nails.

GOSH Blue Monday
I absolutely LOVE this colour but the application is SO poor. The polish is to thin and takes like 4 coats for it to look presentable but I love the colour so it's worth the hassle!

Barry M Mushroom
Well what can I say about this colour really? Everyone loves it I think it's a staple for any nail polish collection it goes with everything and the application is amazing, you only have to apply one coat and your good to go!

FrontCover
This polish came in a nail Christmas set last year and every time I wear it I get reminded of Christmas it's a beautiful red colour with gold undertones. I love it! I hope FrontCover release a new nail set this year!

Bomb Cosmetics Initial thoughts

So I had a £20 gift voucher for Amazon and after seeing they sold Bomb Cosmetics I thought what better time to try after I had watched alot of Youtube videos about their products and I love Lush and they seem to be similar plus Amazon have 15% off some Bomb Cosmetics goodies!

So lets cut to the chase i'm going to show you what I got and my initial thoughts...

These are the Ice Cream Shower Cleansing Butters I got them in Mint Choc Chip and Chilla Vanilla. I love these, when I first saw them I knew I had to get one, how fun a shower butter in the same packaging as ice cream?! Love it! They are both very true to their scent and I just want to eat them they are my favourite ice cream flavours after all! As you can see I have already used the Vanilla one and so far I like it, it leaves your skin feeling super soft and once rubbed into the skin it foams up quite nice!

So I pulled my Urban Decay Naked Palette out the other day, I don't really use this palette all that often as I like to use brighter colours and I think brown eye shadows don't suit me anymore! Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Cat Eyes Review

Hello!

So recently I've been loving Maybelline's new mascara, it's in the Colossal range and it's meant to give you 'cat eyes' so I was very excited to try! Being a fan of the original colossal I knew I was going to love it, i was right! It has to be one of my favourite's by far! I have super short and gappy lashes and this makes my lashes super long! I LOVE it!!!!

The 'claw' applicator

The brush is curved to the shape of your eye so it grabs all of the little lashes that are hiding! Maybelline say Maybelline Volum' Express Cat Eyes mascara. Our collagen enriched formula and unique “claw” brush flick out and extend the look of lashes at the corners-a fierce look with up to 7x more volume! . I've had many people asking me if I'm wearing false eyelashes when I wear this mascara, I've never been asked that before because normally you cant see my lashes! It feels great haha! I have a alot of trouble finding a mascara that wont smudge under my eye because I have super sensitive eyes and they water ALL that time, this doesn't it stays put!

I've had this for just over 3 weeks and still the product is still very wet and will last a couple of weeks! Dont you hate mascaras that become dry quickly!?!

Overall I think the Maybelline The Colossal Volume Express Cat Eyes (mouthful) mascara is an amazing mascara if your looking for lots of length and volume! This has become a staple for me and I'm just in love! You can purchase this mascara for £7.99 from Boots Online.

Happy Sunday and oh gee can you believe the XFactor result?! I'm super shocked! But I'm not going to go into that because it gets me angry LOL!

So the reason of the blog post is to get you involved the weight loss journey I'm about to go on and I wanted you to be able to follow my journey, support others in my position and for me myself to look back in months/years to come and be proud of myself. I finally hit the stage of where I have to lose weight to be happy. I've been on loads of diets over the past year or so but my mind really wasnt 'in it'

I cant pin point the time where I said to myself enough is enough i'm tired of being fat, unable to shop at 'normal girls shops' and just generally eating shit and feeling shit. Over the past few months Ive hit my all time highest and i'm not proud of admitting it, it's quite embarrassing actually but i'm currently wearing size 22/24. This isnt healthy, sexy or fun. I'm a very confident and never has my weight made me less confident I still feel like I can do anything I want or follow the dreams I want. I'm just unhappy with my weight and now, finally I want to do something about it.

So i'm going to share some pictures with you of what I look like now and hopefully in a few months show you some more pictures of me looking a little smaller. I know this is a WHOLE lifestyle change and I will be in it for the long run but if it helps me finally be happy again, why not? Real talk now, hopefully no scratch that I WILL make myself, my family and hopefully you proud of me!

So please raise glass of water on this long journey ahead, I can do it! I look forward to updating you soon again with hopefully some awesome results!
