Show Us The Proof... Memphitz Is Fighting Back The Right Way, In COURT!!

2012-09-04T09:01:00.001-07:00

For a few years now, we've been watching and listening as K.Michelle publicly bashed her ex record exec/something like a boo thang, Mickey "Memphitz" Wright. She made claims of abuse and mismanagment of the money for her album. Well, since the first episode of Mona Scott-Young's Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta, more people have started to hear her story.

In the first episode, K told the world that " he beat my azz." While she didn't say any names, the description she gave, and the past Twitter rants told the world exactly who she was referring to. Memphitz responded, saying that her claims were false. In the last episode Rasheeda told K that she didn't believe her and mentioned that there was no proof. K was extremly upset and said that if Memphitz kept denying the claims she was gonna 'put the sh*t out." Well, looks like whatever proof she claims to have, she's gonna have to do just that, "put the sh*t out."

Mickey "Memphitz" Wright is fighting back, the right way. Check MORE DISH to find out more.

Atlanta, GA-September 4, 2012-Mickey Wright, Jr. p/k/a "MeMpHiTz", is filing a federal lawsuit against the creators and producers of the popular VH-1 reality television show "Love And Hip Hop: Atlanta."

Attorneys Conti J. Moore, Esq. of Conti Moore Law, PLLC and Alcide L. Honoré, Esq. of Hooper & Honoré, LLC, are representing Mr. Wright. He is filing suit against the following entities: Viacom International, Inc.; NFGTV, Inc.; and Monami Entertainment, LLC.

Wright is suing the named Defendants for approximately one dollar per viewer per show for damages that stem from the defamatory statements and denigrating actions of cast member Kimberly Michelle Pate p/k/a “K. Michelle”.

According to Attorney Conti J. Moore, Esq., whose practice is based in Orlando, Florida, “Ms. Pate has taken full advantage of society’s tendency to accept claims of domestic violence as always being true, even in the absence of proof. The only abuse that actually occurred is the malicious and calculated pattern of vicious lies Ms. Pate has assailed for the purpose of fabricating a compelling story line in an attempt to ruin my client’s name.”

Atlanta based Attorney Alcide L. Honoré, Esq. maintains that, “even the most ridiculous statements when repeated frequently become true in the minds of many. Ms. Pate’s preposterous claims, which include allegations that Mr. Wright mismanaged funds and caused her career to ‘flop’, have been adopted as truth by many followers of the popular VH-1 reality series.”

"My family and I have suffered tremendously while VH-1, Monami Ent., and the other companies provided a worldwide platform for K. Michelle to repeatedly assassinate my character. The filing of this suit is to compensate for the irreparable damage that has been done to my reputation and to deter these companies from doing such future harm to others."

“Domestic violence is an issue of serious nature, often having grave consequences for true victims with whom we all sympathize. However, it is unconscionable for one to play on the sympathies of the masses by levying false accusations of such heinous acts against an innocent party, simply for the sake of entertainment or for purported career advancement. After reviewing the evidence in this matter, we are prepared to litigate this case to the fullest extent of the law to seek justice for our client and to restore his name and professional reputation.” Moore & Honore

Personally, I can't wait for all of this to play out. It shouldn't be this easy to spread things about a person without any proof. This is a jacked up world that we live in, SMDH.

Michael Clarke Duncan Passes At 54

2012-09-04T08:18:00.000-07:00

Yesterday, actor Michael Clarke Duncan passed at the age of 54. Clarke is probably best known for his role in The Green Mile. Duncan suffered a heart attack in July and has been hospitalized since.

He was engaged to reality TV's Omarosa Manigault, and they planned to wed in January. Omarosa was there when he suffered the original heart attack and had to perform CPR. Since his heart attack, she has flown doctors in trying to help him recover, but he passed after 2 months of fighting for his life.

The Green Mile might have been his most famous movie, but I LOVED him in this scene of Talladega Nights. Toooo funny!

RIP... please keep his family and friends in your prayers.

Nene Leakes Is A Grandma!

2012-08-22T11:38:00.001-07:00

Awwwww, ATL Housewife (and actress), Nene Leakes is a new Grandmother. In June, her 22 year old son Bryson had a daughter, Bri'Asia.

I only found out about everything because I ran into Ashley when she was more than six months along. I said, ‘You look pregnant.’ and she said, ‘Hasn’t Bryson told you?’ But he hadn’t because he knew that I wouldn’t approve of him having a child so young. I didn’t feel like he was ready for such a big responsibility. I was his age when I had him, so I know how tough it is. I didn’t want him to make the same mistakes that I did. I needed to let it sink in. I always wanted to have a girl and now I have one! She’s just adorable. We just love her!

Nene says that at 44, she's a sassy fashion-forward Grandma and she's gone crazy buying things for little Bri'Asia. "I paid for everything in the nursery… the clothing, the diapers, little dresses, sparkly headbands, and Gucci shoes." She is a cutie pie, I'm sure Nene is going to spoil her rotten.

In Case You Missed It: Oprah's Next Chapter

2012-08-20T09:06:00.001-07:00

I've been a Rihanna fan for years, but I'm an even bigger fan after this interview. She talked about the love of her home and family, her image and of course, the situation and current relationship with Chris Brown. In addition to her raunchy lyrics, I've always loved the realness in Rihanna. She kept true to herself and gave Oprah a great interview. Check it out below.

(FULL VIDEO) Oprah's Next Chapter: Rihanna |... by Ashley_Miller_3

One of my favorite parts was when she said she is "afraid of the pedestal." I can appreciate that because I've heard people speak badly of her because of her actions. Truth is, she isn't doing too much more than most 24 year olds. She is just forced to live her 24 year old life for the world to see.
BTW, Gran Gran Dolly had some grand advice!! "They'll only meet you halfway if they love you a little more." Hmph, what she said!!

New Music Video: Brandy Ft. Chris Brown "Put It Down"

2012-08-16T08:58:00.000-07:00

Hey yall, I've had a LOT going on the past few days so posting has been a little slow. But, I'm back so let's just right into it. Brandy finally released her video for Put It Down ft. Chris Brown. I absolutely LOVE this song and the video gave me everything I needed and more. Check it out below.

Yesssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss, B!!! YES!! She is getting her grown woman on with this one. If this song is any indication of what we have to look forward to on her album (which has been pushed back to October 16th), it's gonna be a banger.

Chad Johnson/Evelyn Lozada 911 Call

2012-08-14T06:09:00.001-07:00

The 911 call placed by a neighbor of Chad Johnson and Evelyn Lozada has been released, I figured it wouldn't be too long. As previously report, Evelyn fled to a neighbor's home after the altercation and called the police. During the call, the neighbor mentioned that it might have been "just a misunderstanding" and asked them not to send the police with "their lights flashing." I SERIOUSLY hate that all of this is happening to them. I had honestly started to like them as a couple and then this.

In other news, Evelyn's brother-in-law, Anthony Ochoa passed away after a long battle with cancer. We saw her mention having him walk her down the aisle on the last season of Basketball Wives. Amazingly, he held on just long enough to make that walk with her, he was only 43 years old. This couldn't have come at a worse time. To lose someone so close to you and not have your brand new husband there to help you get through it, SMH. She has to be really going through a roller coaster of emotions right now. I know Evelyn can be a hand full sometimes, but keep her and their family in your prayers.

Braxton Family Values- Season 3.. This Thursday On WE Tv

2012-08-13T12:08:00.000-07:00

Braxton Family Values is one of my absolute FAVORITE reality shows ever!! I love seeing the interaction between the sisters, they remind me so much of my own family. Season 3 airs this Thursday on WE Tv. Check out the season trailer below.

I just love em... and I'm feeling Trina. I'm wondering WTH Tamar did to her hair as well, LOL.

Vh1 Cancels "Ev And Ocho" Reality Show

2012-08-13T11:34:00.000-07:00

Wowwwwwwwwww... While some people were thinking this Chad and Evelyn domestic dispute thing was a publicity stunt to hype up their upcoming reality show, Vh1 has shut those rumors down. The network has decided NOT to air Ev and Ocho in September as planned. So, we won't get to see that wedding that she's been planning for the last 2 seasons or so of BBW.

Due to the unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations, VH1 is pulling the series ‘Ev and Ocho’ from its schedule and has no current plans of airing it.

SMD, they are losing jobs, shows, fans and money left and right behind this madness.

K.Michelle's "Stop Violence Against Women" Campaign PSA Video

2012-08-13T07:05:00.000-07:00

Okay... domestic abuse is not funny, but THIS fool here just made me laugh. I mean one of those burst out hollin' laughs LMAO!! I couldn't help but wonder if this is the kind of beating she is accusing Memphitz of.

I'm sorry, but she ruined the freaking video and the message for me. Simply because I know she is a liar and she's using something as serious as domestic abuse to gain fame. I'm not saying she has never been abused, but when I see that you will lie on one individual about something this serious, I can't really trust too many of your other claims.

Chad Johnson (Ochocinco) Arrested For Domestic Abuse Against Evelyn Lozada

2012-08-13T06:32:00.002-07:00

You know what.. this is just way too much, way too soon!! These two were JUST married on July 4th and they are already laying hands on one another, SMDH. Saturday night Chad Johnson was arrested for assaulting his new bride Evelyn Lozada. Reports are that while riding in the car Evelyn found a receipt for condoms and that of course led to an altercation (there are conflicting reports on rather Chad or Evelyn bought the condoms). Chad supposedly head-butted Evelyn during the argument and she fled to a neighbors house to call the police. When the police arrived they saw a 3 inch laceration on her forehead and transported her to the hospital. She was released later that night.

Chad was taken into custody and advised police that Evelyn was the one that head-butted him. He was released on bail the next morning. Because of the incident, he was also released from the Miami Dolphin football team.

I won't say much about this right now since neither of them have spoken on it. However, I feel terrible for them, especially Evelyn. I know this is super embarrassing for her. I was really hoping the best for their relationship. I wonder what this will mean for their reality show "Ev and Ocho" due to air in September. I'll keep you all updated on any new details that become available.

Happy Birthday Whitney Houston!!!

Toya Wright Addresses K.Michelle & Abuse Allegations... "WHERE IS THE PROOF?"

2012-08-07T10:50:00.001-07:00

Welp, Toya has had it with K.Michelle and all her lies. She spoke with Tami of Talking With Tami and wants to know "where is the proof?" Check out the video below.

Exactly... all this talk, with NOTHING to back it up. It really works my nerves that people are so quick to believe something just because it was said on television. I've said it a million times before, he didn't beat that ~~nut~~ girl. I saw her shortly after and there wasn't a single bruise on her body SMH. Oh well, if K gets hit with a gag order, it'll serve her just right.

Oh, and I heard about that tape... AND I heard her spazz out myself, it's not a pretty sight SMH.

Love & Hip Hop Atlanta The 3Way Therapy Session Video... Joseline Lays Hands On Stevie J.

2012-08-07T08:34:00.001-07:00

I didn't get to see last night's episode of LHHA, but I saw talk of Joseline going HAM on Stevie J. all over the social networks. In last weeks episode we saw Stevie J. convince Mimi to let Joseline join them in a counseling session. Welp, I didn't think it would work out well, but I didn't think this is how it would have gone down.

Wow... I kinda feel bad for Joseline. Anywho, regardless of the foolery, the show has been a hit. I knew it wouldn't be long before the comedy spoofs hit the net. I've seen a few different videos, but this one below is HILARITY at it's best LOL.

Bwhahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!

Steve Harvey Breaks Down During Last Stand Up Comedy Show

2012-08-06T11:13:00.000-07:00

Steve Harvey is retiring from stand up comedy after 27 years in the business. I read "Act Like a Lady, Think Like a Man" and in it, he speaks on his struggles while becoming the success he is today. From his words in the book and his amazing stage presence, it is clear that he LOVES the world of comedy. Check out his Thank You to his fans during his final stand up show below.

I'm sorry, but in addition to feeling his love, I also laughed LOL. That lip got extra long while he was crying KMSL. Seriously tho, I'm not clowning, I can totally understand the tears. Leaving something that you so obviously love after 27 years has to be a bitter sweet moment.

If you never got to see him do his stand up act, you most def missed out. I still remember how wonderful he was when he came to Memphis with the "Kings of Comedy" tour. HILARIOUS!!! Don't worry tho, you can still get your dose of Steve on "Family Feud", his nationally syndicated radio show " The Steve Harvey Morning Show" and his upcoming TV show "Steve Harvey."

K.Michelle Visits "The Breakfast Club"

2012-08-06T08:49:00.000-07:00

I like this look for her (hair, makeup and such).. wait, was that her nipple? Nice interview, several lies, but that's to be expected at this point.

New Music From Aaliyah Ft. Drake "Enough Said"

2012-08-06T07:44:00.000-07:00

As everybody should know by now, Drake absolutely LOVES the late songstress Aaliyah. He says he's always been her number one fan and even got 2 tattoos in her memory. Drake has said that he wants to do an entire project including Aaliyah, but for now he's released this one song "Enough Said." It's unreleased music from Aaliyah and he jumped on the track with her. Check it out below.

It's amazing to me how people can literally live through their music even after they're gone... This song is actually kinda hot. I love that I get to hear Aaliyah's voice in something new. I'm anxious to hear what an entire Aaliyah-Drake project would sound like. Anywho, what do you think about it?

Serena Williams "C-Walks" After Winning The Gold

2012-08-06T07:18:00.000-07:00

Congrats, I LOVE IT!!! It would take Serena to C Walk all the way in London LOL. When asked about the dance, she made sure to steer clear of mentioning the name of it. She said the name was "inappropriate" and kept it short and simple saying "it's a dance we do in California."

Venus was super tickled at that move... the two probably joked about it prior to the match. When receiving my Masters Degree, I told my sister I was going to "dougie" across the stage. Of course I didn't do it, but hey... that's nothing compared to winning an Olympic Gold Medal.

Congrats again, Serena!!!

Gabrielle Douglas & The Fab 5 Win GOLD At The 2012 Olympics... So WHY Are Y'all Talking About HAIR?

2012-08-03T08:27:00.000-07:00

Sixteen year old Gabrielle Douglas and her Fab Five team were a joy to watch at the 2012 London Olympics. Gabby is the very first African American to win an Olympic All Around title. To put it short and simple, the girl is nothing short of amazing at what she does. In the midst of all the excitement, instead of focusing on this young lady's story and her commitment to something she loves....people are focusing on something as simple as her HAIR!! Seriously, her HAIR?

I'm not going to type a long post about how ignorant that is because honestly, I don't care to give it that much attention. However, I will say that it's super sad that after all this young lady has done, her hair is what people choose to focus on. I totally get it though, some people HAVE to find something to gripe about, especially when they have nothing going on for themselves. I'm positive that Gabby wasn't worried about sitting in a salon chair for hours to look gorgeous for the world. Instead she was perfecting that balance beam routine and those absolutely brilliant lands. Find something else to talk about people cuz this convo is beyond shameful. SMDH

Brandy Interviews With Urban Informer.. Talks Album Release And New Video

I just love Brandy.. can't wait for her album to drop. I'll be purchasing it whenever it does. Oh and KeKe Palmer would play a perfect Brandy.
