As the holiday season for most Westerners winds down, China’s most festive, fun, and important holiday is about to kick-off. The Chinese New Year, to be celebrated this year on January 23rd, is fast approaching. Where will you be celebrating the Year of the Dragon Lunar New Year?

This time around, I’m looking forward to going home, and eating some of my mother-in-law’s home-cooked food! A short trip back and will definitely spend my time wisely. In this special occasion, in case we haven’t give you feedback within 24 hours, don’t fret. We will try our best to reply all inquiries and orders soonest possible.

Get ready to ring in the year of the dragon as I’m ready to fly off this Sunday to celebrate Chinese New Year. While the holiday takes place on January 23rd, we have the privilege to unbox the new Prada Saffiano leather wallet. We got this new baby of our client in London and yes, they are only 3 left when we get into Bond Street. We’ve been scouting around and finally we found it!!

Our trip to London this time was a memorable one, we had an amazing wedding party of our close friend, Mel and she looks amazingly beautiful. Ok, I’ll get into the wedding story later..now it’s Prada time!! Random awkward conversation I had with one of the Prada’s SA, she has the same wallet and managed to slip in one lipstick inside. This month stylist picks are all about stripes, pastel and polka dots – be sure to be spotted sporting spots this Spring/Summer and remember polka dots have made a come-back. Spice up your wardrobe with these dots, whether this print is all over or just used as an accent (think shoes/bags/stockings/scarves), just make sure its incorporated.

When it comes to stripes, lets get one thing straight – the bolder the better. You can even mix stripes with one another, either larger stripes with thinner ones, or different directionalities. Experimenting with contrasting prints is something I've always been drawn to but I've never been able to find prints that can complement each other well. So, I don't usually mix a lot of prints together because, lets' face it, it's quite a challenge.

I love that it gives my overall outfit a quirky yet chic look. It is always best to keep your stripes and polka dots on top, by wearing these prints on your bottom half. The best places to find amazing polka dot printed pieces are in vintage/thrift shops.

We have the pleasure to help our lovely Redmummy for her coming bundle of joy (thank you for having us to be your Personal Shopper) and it was such a good experience to scout around for baby stuffs. While preparing for this entry write up, I have the chance to get more insights and understanding on how to help mothers out there to shop wisely for their new borns. For instance, some baby products were found to be completely unnecessary like ‘Wipe Warmer’. I thought it was funny that such a thing exist. Is it really bad to wipe a baby's bottom with a room temperature wipe? I’m pretty sure most people do not warm their toilet paper, and it’s fine.

Planning a winter wonderland theme wedding? It is a fabulous and festive theme for a wedding in the cold winter months. A winter wonderland wedding needs equally fabulous attire for the bridal party. I’m going to give some guides and ideas of outfits for everyone from the bride on down.

The highlights of a winter wedding are icy sparkle and plenty of shimmer. I will look for a lustrous light ivory silk gown, and choose a style that has a grand presence. Then think about the details – silver embroidery and crystal beadwork are a must! A light icy blue wedding dress is absolutely stunning. You could also wear an ivory dress (whichever shade suits your skin tone best) and accentuate your waistline with a charcoal grey sash.

When choosing an outfit or dress to a party, you have to consider a variety of factors including if the event is formal or black tie, its location and time of day. You want to dress up, but not wear anything too revealing or overly ‘exposed’.

Christmas is just around the corner and parties are about to start. Every woman wants to stand out without blending in with the Christmas tree. (wink!) This coming festive season is a great occasion to look gorgeous and to pull out once more one of the fabulous dresses you might have bought earlier this year and which are still hanging in your wardrobe... or to buy a new one.

After years of living abroad, I found the Brits and French really dress up for their Christmas parties (just a random observation). Gorgeous dresses for ladies and dinner jackets for men are usually the norm unless otherwise specified. What a challenge!

This month we are going to start with new capsule wardrobe for the year end (and to those who will be welcoming Autumn/Winter 2011). Once again over the coming months, we’ll be selecting pieces that combine effortlessly to create a whole host of stylish looks. They are classic pieces with trend twist that you will still be able to wear past this season and beyond.

Finding new ways to wear things you already own is a fashion win-win — not only are you getting more from your existing wardrobe, but it forces you to think outside the box and develop a knack for creating new outfits. I like to find the challenge to recycle my autumn/winter clothing and sometimes create another new look like adding splash of bright colours tops or accessories, combine them with my summer clothes or get lots of quirky pair of tights.

Sixties-inspired dresses varied from full-skirt evening frocks with low décolletage to geometric shift dresses with high necks.

I’m a strong advocate of the 60’s fashion trends - colour block and shape with minimalist lines to nip and shape your figure and show it off to its best. Pinafores, shift dresses, bracelet sleeves, polo necks et al were all shown creating a sophisticated affair.

The sixties trend popularised the A-line cut and mini dresses with Peter pan collar, graphic prints and edgy cuts. You can pair it with Mary Jane pumps or T-bar heels for that chic sixties look. If you want something more sophisticated wear an A-line dress with tights or knee high socks. Pair of tights are pretty much an essential for autumn and winter if I wear my shift dresses and A-line skirts and I also love using them to add a bit of colour and pattern to an outfits.

Stilettos, low-heel sandals, leather boots, and kitten heels can be seen in fall collections. Wear them with bright tights or leggings.

Here's some tips on how to enhance your sixties look: wear a swing coat with a knee-length skirt or shift dress. The skirt can be longer than the coat while the dress should be a bit shorter. You can define your waist in a swing coat by adding a flattering belt to it. Choose few of your sixties inspired outfits, try to incorporate them subtly into your style. Experiment, mix and match and you will find how to manage trends within your style. Just pick one to flatter your figure…

What everyone loves about Longchamp is, they are pretty affordable and all things considered. I brought heaps for my clients from my last trip back home earlier this year. Always a good thing!

I’m convinced that there must be some secret female rite of passage that French girls go through where they are given a Longchamp bag upon its completion. When I’m feeling the itch to have a new top, blouse or jeans/trousers, it is always this Spanish brand that I seem to step into (it’s probably due to my petite size, quite a challenge to find something that suits me). I’m glad that my client has much the same taste as I do and I get equally excited about finding her comfortable stylish outfits for going holiday.

Ok folks, with the rise of haul videos and fast fashion, I want to share with you some tips to avoid disappointment as you try on your new purchase or intending to shop online. Check it out, girls!

1. Know your measurements - All good shopping sites have detailed sizing charts for each garment. If you are not sure what size you are get a measuring tape and measure!

2. Know your fabric. - Take note of the fabric of your favourite clothes. If you understand how a certain fabric fits and wears then you will have a greater understanding on whether or not the garment is right for you. All good shopping sites have a description of the fabric type.

3. Google it! - Once you have found an item you wish to purchase, ‘Google’ it. It will probably come up on different shopping sites and you may be able to see alternative images of it or read reviews.

4. Buying jeans/trousers - These can be tricky as it is easy to get the size wrong. The best way to get the perfect size is to know the brands. If you usually wear UK10 for all jeans and then you can be confident that a size 10 in that brand will be a perfect fit. Make sure you read the sizing specifications as they will let you know if that particular cut runs smaller or larger than usual and suggest that you order a size up or down accordingly.

5. Shopping websites - I would advise using only recommended shopping sites, that way you know that it is a trustworthy site and you will get what you have paid for. If you have found something you love and haven’t heard of the site I would suggest you do a Google search to see if there are customer reviews to read.

6. Create a wish list - Most sites have a wish list option. This lets you choose items that you love and save them in a wish list without having to purchase. When anything on your wish list goes on sale they will email and let you know – that’s a bonus!

7. Shipping costs - Make sure you read the shipping information. You need to know the delivery costs and how long it will take to arrive. Good sites should have a parcel tracking service so you can see where your parcel is and when to expect it.

8. Returns policy - If in the event the garment you have ordered is not what you wanted then you will need to return it. Find out beforehand what the returns policy is so you don’t get stuck with extra shipping costs.

All I can think to say about this absolutely, positively gorgeous collection from Zuhair Murad is…it’s WOW!. Seriously WOW. Not all the pieces are meant to be for typical wedding dresses. But if you ask me, I would say they're pretty much what any bride wants to wear on their special day. Zuhair Murad, my favourite Lebanese fashion designer – his creations are known for their sensational colours, extraordinary fabrics and flattering fit on the female form.

What I like about Zuhair Murad is that he always stays true to his niche. His designer talent is best expressed in evening and red-carpet-ready outfits, dresses in particular. Rich colours, beautiful feminine designs and intricate detailing make the Fall 2011 Couture collection by Zuhair Murad unforgettable. Floor-length dresses look just perfect.

I have to admit his creations are reminiscent of Egyptian princesses, the sultry silhouettes of the dresses. This is what I love about Middle Eastern designers, the designs exude confidence and the women they designed for are not afraid to get dressed.

This strapless sweetheart neckline dress with metallic gold accents, reminds me of Marchesa gown worn by Olivia Wilde at the 2011 Golden Globes.

Each piece has a life of it’s own and can be worn alone or with your favourite accessories.

It's time for me to recap some of my favourite designers – Daniella Issa Helayel (Issa London) Brazillian-born and Zac Posen, young and hip native New Yorker. We're putting together some fun, trendy and glamorous pieces from both designers that we can help you to deliver.

We swooned at the sight of all the creative pieces of Issa and Zac Posen, they are different and amazing in their own right, but they do have something in common. Posen and Issa has an innate talent for accentuating the curves of a woman's body with their stylish dresses.

Gwyneth is looking fabulous in Zac Posen. Not everyone can pull off sherbert orange, but Gwyneth is one stunning mommy! The entire look, complete with pin straight hair, is amazing.

I truly love all the red carpet dresses from both designers and of course, I can’t get enough of Issa’s collection. Kate’s (Duchess of Cambridge) favourite designer, she has been a huge fan of Issa for years wearing her pieces countless times. Just like what Helayel described her dresses as the 'bread of Issa’ -“People don't get tired of bread, they eat bread every day. You never get tired”. Interesting comparison :)

I must say Issa’s collection are just stunning, totally adore her signature wrap dresses - effortless elegance that is universally flattering. The same goes to Zac Posen’s great pieces, he has dressed Hollywood’s most glamorous women, from Gwyneth Paltrow, Sienna Miller, Jennifer Lopez and Leighton Meester. His design and tailoring is impeccable. Every piece was stunning and unique and although there are hints of eras gone by, I’ve never seen dresses quite like this.
