DOTN: So Late, It’s Ridiculous

So this weekend I was invited to my coworkers sister’s birthday… Which coworker? Well work-wifey, of course!!! I worked Saturday morning and wasn’t sure if I would have the energy to attend, but I have to admit… I have a blast. There are some fuzzy points that I don’t recall, I remember getting into an argument with hubby about something from our past… but other than that… we had a blast. Even hubby is now madly in love with my work wife. And he was feeling a bit better so I think it was a necessary night out.

I have to be honest that I truly want to blog more, but lately I am working heavily on getting trained and most days what I’m wearing is not at all blog worthy. I know you want to see my not so fancy outfits but lately my outfits are like plain… ridiculous. And by ridiculous… I mean, boring.

I don’t want you to think that I just drop into my blog… post pics and disappear for another week or two. So I wanted to tell you something interesting that happened to me this week. The other night, I came home and this day was already not going according to plan because I had walked out the door earlier that day without my debit card. So I had driven home on what was minimal gas (praying the whole way that I did actually make it home). I pulled up in front of my house and called upstairs to hubby to bring down my debit card. As I waited for him, my car just shuts off. LMAO… my car literally ran out of gas sitting in front of my home. Hubby ran to get me some gas and it allowed me just enough to drive to a local gas station. Afterward, I went to dinner with the bestie that is going through chemo (again). This time she didn’t retain her hair and I can tell she hasn’t gotten comfortable with it quite yet (but that is a blog post for another day). So I give the waitress my card and I wait for her to return, but she tells me I have to come to the register. Well, imagine my surprise when a $29.10 meal was charged $290.10 on my card… most expensive tacos EVER!!! LMAO!!! So they gave me the difference in cash and my bestie couldn’t stop laughing. I have to admit… it was ~~almost~~ worth it to see her laugh like that. Then on the way of the parking lot, I backed into a brick wall. Which cracked her up even more. She said I had had my 3 things go wrong, so I was done… but it was quite a ridiculous night. But it was nice to not take myself so seriously… if that makes sense. So how are you? Have you had a day recently where it seems like nothing is going right? Do you let it get to you, or do you laugh to keep from crying? Hola Divas…
Last night I was in the ER until 1am (hubby ~~was~~ is very sick and I was very worried last night). I am exhausted and can’t imagine moving another muscle. But today I mentioned on twitter that I was soooo excited about this outfit (I have to admit if I hadn’t planned this outfit weeks ago I wouldn't have had a clue what to wear this morning) and when it came together I was even more excited about it. The only thing I wish is that I wasn’t so exhausted while wearing it… because I think it takes a little bit away from the outfit.

Anyway… something inspired me to put this outfit together. I can’t tell you what because I’m on Pinterest (add me if you’re on there as well… just click the previous link to get to my page) so much lately that I don’t know if it was there or somewhere else that made me want to wear leopard and coral together. If you recently did this on your blog… it may have been you who inspired me… my mind is a load of mush lately. I’m working so hard and I just don’t know when I'm coming or going anymore.

I’m reading blogs… I promise I am… I may not comment but I am reading and seeing your outfits… I just don’t always have time to comment lately… but I do try to read blogs on breaks or when hubby is driving or we are sitting somewhere waiting. Just imagine that on each post I’m agreeing with your point of view and telling you how fabulous you look… because I would support you if I just had… ummm… let’s say 6 more hours in a day.

Anyway… today I lost my part time job (because I missed last night and didn’t call anyone… for the reason why… see above my first sentence) but I’m not upset… now that I am full time at my day job, I am more busy than anticipated and can’t find the time or energy to clean banks at night. I believe wholeheartedly that God will provide that money to me in another way. I have faith in that. Anyway… thanks for stopping by… I miss you when I can’t blog and I hope that soon my workload will lessen and I can return to you fully. Hasta la proxima ~besitos~

DOTD: Not Dead or Dying

Hola Divas…
I disappeared… I know. I disappeared off twitter and my blog. Why? I was killer swamped and to be honest… I didn’t like any of my clothes. I’ve put on so much weight and nothing fits. So I was allowing it to affect who I was… and then something happened the other day… I got over myself. I stopped hating my extra poundage, and I stopped hating my hair (that is another issue within itself… but I digress). I decided that if I was going to be a TRUE blogger… I would find a way to love my hair and my body and bring my readers along for the ride. And then yesterday… this outfit came to me. And then I knew I had tapped into a bit of the old me.

Soooo…. here I am… wearing my favorite color and rocking a new way to showcase my natural hair. I have to admit… I really like it… and this is what being a FATshionista is all about… it’s about finding a way to… “Make it work” (in the famous words of Tim Gunn). I hope you like this… I hope not to disappear any more… but if I do it will be work related… not because I don’t love myself. I also am trying to find new places/ways to take pictures… because the hallway is so dark. I can’t wait until I can do outside pics again… daylight can’t come fast enough.

DOTD: Unable To Tebow With Lace Trimmings

So I tried something new on my last post and I feel like maybe it wasn’t the best time to be creative. So today I have returned to what is normal and expected of my blog. An outfit post, I have to admit that later I switched out the boots to a pair of moto-boots which I feel was a better look. Or maybe it was because it was so comfortable that my mind just felt it was a better look… lol

So while taking these pictures, I couldn’t seem to think of any new poses, so my hubby being the comedian that he is recommended that I do a Tebow. He said that other bloggers are doing it (apparently someone has been Googling images without a chaperone… lol) and that I should jump on the bandwagon. But anyone who knows me… knows that I don’t like to follow the leader… so… no matter how humorous my hubby’s suggestion was… I just couldn’t Tebow. Besides, how could I possibly in this lace print mini-skirt?

So how are you doing today? Were you off yesterday? Did you do anything to celebrate civil rights? (Actually… how would you celebrate that? A parade perhaps?) Daydreams…

Hola Divas…
So before I was a blogger, I was a avid short story writer. Not that you could tell from that last blog post that seemed to bounce around from subject to subject like an A.D.H.D. 10 year old off his meds. But since it’s been soooo long since I have written anything I was beginning to feel like I had lost my ability to write anything. So I figured that since I have this blog I could use this as a way to do some of my writing. I hope you like it…

Daydreams…
I close my eyes and exhale and allow myself to relax and go into my other realm. In this place I have no worries. I leave my career that I love and hop into my car that is paid for and head home. As I pass all the homes in my neighborhood I feel a sense of accomplishment for how far we’ve come. I walk into my home and yell to see if anyone is home, there are notes on the whiteboard explaining the whereabouts of everyone. I see that I have at least 2 hours of free time, just for me.

I make my way up the stairs with my stilettos in hand and walk into my closet that was once a small bedroom that my husband converted, because he had no where to put his clothing. I put down my stilettos in the place from which I had retrieved them earlier that morning. While in my “closet” I change into something more comfortable. As I walk past my bedroom, I contemplate laying down in my bed and using this alone time to sleep, but no… that is not what is driving me at the moment. I walk downstairs and look into my office/gym and think about spending some time on the elliptical or treadmill. No… I can exercise later when I need to escape the chaos of family life. Now I am driven to do something else. I make my way to my kitchen and turn on my touchscreen recipe pad that is conveniently placed on my refrigerator. I decide to make my family something new that they have not yet tried but I hope they will enjoy. I spend the next 2 hours making a fabulous dinner including dessert in my double ovens and my gourmet kitchen. This time is where I get my best ideas for my clients that visit my business as a stylist and wardrobe re-designer.

When my family arrives home, they arrive to dinner made and mom/wife smiling with accomplishment. We discuss our day and after we are all full and satisfied we go to the family room and watch television. Later that evening while preparing my outfit for the following day, I think about how far we’ve come as a family and how much we have grown as people. As I slip into the bed that I had earlier avoided, next to my sleeping husband, I say a silent prayer to God thanking him for all the blessings he has bestowed upon my family. As I nod off to sleep my dreams are filled with the present, because my life is what my dreams once were, so there is nothing more I could wish for but more days like today. The End.

How do you like it? I hope to put up more things that I have written, some are not for the light hearted but I love to write so I decided to begin with something a little tame. I wanted to include a picture in today’s post but I just… was too lazy and still a little sick. So the last thing I wanted to do is take pictures of my red/puffy eyed self… lol. DOTD: New Year… now what?

So it is a new year and I should be super stoked right? Well… I’m perplexed. And its not because I’m being a pessimist… its because I just wanted more. I realized that I am in my mid-thirties and I am no where near where I would like to be. I would like to be in a home. I would like to have a true career. And I would like to have a savings that could pay my bills if I lost my job for a year. But instead I get an apartment where my neighbors are constantly selling drugs out in front and then get an attitude if you don’t speak to them. Seriously? I don’t want to speak to you because you are doing illegal activity where my children walk out to go to school… so no… I’m not your biggest fan. As for my “career” I work a job where one moment they are nice the next minute… not so much. My boss quit and since leaving 2 weeks ago has already begun to lose weight… and I’ve gained weight since I started working here. I think it’s the stress and just generally the way people talk to me. I’m broke… my truck is sitting out front not moving until I can get the money together to get it fixed (hopefully this weekend).

All in all… I do know I am blessed… I still have my hubby who is trying his best not to jump off a bridge. I have my beautiful girls who both just celebrated birthdays. And I have my son who is doing his best to stay out of trouble (Thank you, Jesus!!). So I said all this as a preamble to the fact that I swore I would blog more more even if it was life posts… and then… I didn’t blog a darn thing. And that is because I have been swamped and then when I get home I am so exhausted all I want to do is put head to pillow…Anyway… here is an Divalook Of The Day (DOTD) to give you some eye candy (yeah right… I look absolutely tanked in these pictures). Please ignore my face of exhaustion… lol

2012 Blog Declaration

It’s 2012 and with a new year comes new thoughts on what you expect of the year and where you want to see yourself at the end of that year. First let me begin by saying that I do believe that we will live to see 2013 because I am not one to believe in the 12/21/12 end of the world thing. Not saying you can’t believe it (because my hubby believes and he mentions it everyday)… just saying I don’t. Anyway… back to my point. As last year was a rollercoaster ride of bad decisions and just horrible crying spells I want this year to be the year of laughter and just living life. So this blog is going to change a bit. It will still contain my usual outfits only it may not contain as many as you are accustomed. I want to make this a LIFEstyle blog with emphasis on the LIFE part. I want to include more pictures of my children and my hubby. I want you to see that my life is not only outfits and shoes. I want you to get to know… ME.

This was a hard decision to make because I know that if you have been with me since day one that you may not like the changes I plan on implementing but I have to be true to myself and I am much more than fashion. I am more than makeup. And I am more than shoes. I am a mother, an avid reader, a tech enthusiast, a wife, and a friend. I want you to know what books I’m currently reading and enjoying. I want you to know what happened during my day. I want you to know what means the most to me and what makes me…. well… ME. Now I won’t give you everything… I won’t overwhelm you with my hectic crazy life… but I will let you see that I am a 3 dimensional person who does not just play a fashionable character on my blog. With that said… I hope you will come along for the ride.

Another decision I have made is this… the wigs are gone. I may “occasionally” wear them for fashion flair… but as for everyday… I want my daughter to know and see that I love my hair and that she should too. She made a statement recently that cut me to the bone about how she “HATES” her hair curly because it’s ugly. And that hurt me. I love letting her get her hair straightened… but I don’t want her to think that her curly locks are not her own. So I will rock my hair and the occasional protective style… but will try to avoid weaves and wigs going forward. To start the year off… here is a picture of me today at work with my glasses on and my hair curled out…

Now in case you’re wondering… yes… I will continue to do Diva Spotlights, “Lo Quiero Ahora” wishlist posts, ShoeDay Saturday posts and I will continue to shout out Diva Bloggers I find along the way. But I won’t let it takeover my life and my family… I want to find the happy medium of blogging and living because you can’t live life behind a laptop. Well… that is my 2012 declaration and I hope I won’t lose you as a reader/follower/friend… Hasta la proxima ~besitos~

As midnight draws closer and we prepare to bring in the New Year, I decided to go through my year of archives and post pictures of outfits that I wore that I loved the most. I did have some outfits that I loved more than others. But I created a collage that just shows the changes in my fashion over 2011. I have to admit, that during the process of making this collage… I found that I fell in love with my natural hair all over again… think I’ll do my best to get rid of the wigs for good this year…

DOTD: Post Christmas Fashionable

I am soooo glad Christmas is over. It has become one of those stressful times of year that used to make me soo happy. This year I was the saddest I’ve ever been and I haven’t the foggiest idea why. I love to bake and decorate for Christmas but for some reason this year I couldn’t get it together. I think it had a bit to do with my finances… but who knows.

Yesterday, I put on twitter that my outfit for today was going to be super cute… and I still think so… but I hope I didn’t overstate the cuteness of this outfit (I was even thinking that cute-ness is relative to the individual… I’m sick… I know).

Also, today was my boss’ (Pecana) last day. I didn’t know how much it would affect me but it did and I’m sad to see her go. I don’t know what do now… my future is soooo uncertain. Anyway… I am waiting for the New Year because I want to believe that 2012 will NOT be as awful as 2011 was to me… I have every believe that my blessings will come into the new year. I am not much on resolutions (seriously why make a list of things I never complete… lol). Are you ready for the New Year? Are you going to make any resolutions? If so, what are they?

Today I decided to draw inspiration form a set that a friend of mine created a while ago. I wasn’t sure if I could pull it off but I loved the look today (only in the pictures I am SERIOUSLY bloated… being a woman sometimes sucks). But I still love this look. I did have to tweak it a bit because of shoes and well the desire to wear tights… But end of the day… I love love love this look… bloated or not….

I wished I had taken the pictures in the morning… but hey… hindsight.

Today wasn’t a bad day… but because I am all “girl-timing” I am weak and exhausted and just plain BLAH!!! Also, I have a little pain returning in my stomach… I have to stop BSing and go get my lady parts checked… pronto.

DOTN: 30th Birthday Date Night

Hola Divas…
Last night… Hubby and I went out to ring in his 30th birthday. I wanted him to not be in bed and watching Psych as he turned 30 years old. So we got dressed and went out. I don’t have any pictures of what he was wearing as he refused pictures as I did sort of kidnap him last night.

So we went to our normal local bar and there was some excitement. But first I have to admit that we argued before we went out because he kept saying things that made no sense to me. Now as you may recall (if you’ve been following my blog that long) that hubby and I weren’t doing so well in March of this year around my birthday. All our troubles came crashing together in a huge impact that caused our separation. Now I’m a huge birthday nut… and I believe that all birthdays should be celebrated and enjoyed. But my husband does not have the same philosophy as his birthdays bring up deep rooted issues from his past in his country. He’s working on doing better… but it takes time. Anyway… I asked him what he wanted to do to celebrate his birthday and he said that considering how he “failed” on my birthday… he understands if I want to “pay him back” and give him a crappy birthday. I can honestly tell you I was dumbfounded because… where dey do dat at? That whole statement makes no sense. Tit for tat birthday payback? That would only make sense to a man…

So that why I kidnapped him. I felt it was necessary. And while he was there he was still in a grumpy mood… until something happened… A guy fell down the steps and split his head open. I mean there was a huge puddle of blood. And he was unconscious and unresponsive. In that instance… hubby put his arm around my waist and held my hand. Because you realize that everything could change in an instant. End result is that the paramedics were able to get him awake and up on his feet and into the ambulance. Hubby and I hung around for a bit longer and danced while we appreciated our love and health. Then we headed home just before the club closed. So on the drive home we decided to take the long way home which includes a drive through Baltimore City and Power Plant Live (which is this area with like a mixture of different clubs and bars so it’s like a melting pot of entertainment). Well… if you were on twitter you saw my tweet that said I had saw a woman wearing a thong leotard with fishnets underneath. She was wearing it with flats… so it already was a miss… but what killed me was that I was DYING in thick tights and she was strolling down Lombard Street like it wasn’t 30 degrees outside. Not to mention that she was the largest female in her group (about a size 14/16) and her friends were significantly more dressed then she. I just felt like my eyes should not have been seeing all of that… but to each their own. Fashion is individual…

After that we came home and cuddled and I fell asleep without even touching my phone (which says a lot)…. Anyway… I really wanted him to remember the night of his 30th and recall that I had gone to great lengths to look nice. I got this skirt from Forever21+ a few weeks ago and I love how it holds everything in… AMAZINGLY killer skirt. I also changed the hair again… I think this one… is a keeper… What do you think of the Divalook Of The Night (DOTN)? What do you think of the new hairdo? DOTD: Stepping On Clouds Heading Towards Sunshine

Hola Divas…
Okay… today is awesome… I took my son to meet the principal and staff of his new “alternative” school. He was fighting me 100% but after sitting there and discussing the school with the staff like an adult… he seems excited to be embarking on this new future. I love my son… but lately… it’s been touch and go on how I was going to make it through this. Now… I know we can. He even wants to take some photography classes so that we can make my blog “our” project. Something we can do together…

So after the meeting with the school we went to this old abandoned hospital in Annapolis and took pictures. Those pictures are what you see below. They aren’t the best but I’m proud of him and how hard he worked to get them right. Also, he even came up with some poses he wanted me to try. All in all… I think he will be my full time photographer going forward. I really enjoyed the time with him.

As for the outfit… I FINALLY figured out a way to wear these shoes and this scarf together in a way that I like. If you recall the last time I wore it HERE… I wasn’t so pleased… Today however… LOVE IT!!! What do you think?

Hola Divas…
First let me say that I am feeling much better even if its not 100%. I am also trying to figure out the next step with my son. I do appreciate all your kind words and comments and will comment back to each of you very soon. I’m just all over the place currently and I want to give that my undivided attention. My title above refers to my corduroys that you’ve seen me where previously HERE. But also because my mood has not been all that festive or happy lately. Which is insane because I LOVE this time of year. I love Christmas and all things Christmas related. So its killing me that I am sick and dealing with stressors that are making it not as fun as it used to be… I’m trying to kick myself into gear…

I am wearing blue because this shade of blue usually cheers me up. DOTD: Not Feeling So Diva… Currently

Hola Divas…
Well I haven’t posted anything on my blog since my post on Dec 1st. So let me tell you what has happened over the last week….

Last Friday: I came home from work nauseous and completely sick. I thought that since my children had been sick during the week that I had not been so lucky at avoiding it. I went to bed hoping it would be a 24 hour bug as it had been with everyone else….

Saturday: It starts to look like I am seriously sick as the pain has gotten worse and I can’t eat anything without getting really sick. I only left my bed for a few moments to go to my part-time and to quickly return to my bed.

Sunday: Did not get out of bed all day and hubby left me to sleep because I am so sick at this point I barely sleep… it is at that moment that I realize that is most likely NOT a stomach virus. As any movement at all makes me cry out in agony. Hubby tries to get me to go to the emergency room but I tell him I’m fine (when I’m clearly not).

Monday: I don’t go to work because I can’t move… still. Hubby FORCES me to go to the ER. I oblige as I feel as though I’m dying. While in emergency they check for pregnancy, appendicitis, and who knows what else. Turns out I have ovarian cysts. I am sorry if that grosses anyone out… but as I had cervical cancer a few years ago… I am scared of anything that has to do with my “lady parts”… lol. They tell me that the cysts should shrink on their own and that the pain should go away in a few days. If not, I have to go see my doctor to ensure that the cysts are not tumors. Yep… we’re back to that again…. ugh!!!!

Tuesday: I went to work… pain and all… Kinda foggy as I was medicated.

Wednesday: Work again and then the most horrific thing happens… my husband comes home to find my 15yr old having sex in my living room when he is supposed to be at school. We flipped out… and kicked him out to go live with his grandparents. I can’t… my health is fragile and he is doing everything in his power to make me lose my sanity. My mom makes it seem like its all my fault and that he needs attention. Attention?!! I’m working 2 jobs (one of which is cleaning up after grown a$$ folks who act as though I’m their maid and not just the lady who mops and empties the trash) just so I can buy a house in the next six months. But I should give that all up so he can get “attention”. As someone who was an honor roll student and literally was spoiled my entire teenage years and got all the “attention” I could stand (I was even in the newspaper for tutoring failing seniors while in the 9th grade)… I have no idea why he should get attention for all this negative behavior. Also, on my way home in a downpour of tornado proportions… I get a flat tire. Seriously… I damn near snapped.

Thursday: Woke up to excruciating pain and a swollen stomach… finding that stress is not allowing this to go away as quickly as the doctor had indicated. Got my tired “plugged” before work. Went to work while trying not to think about the stress my son is putting me under.

Friday (today): *le sigh* Just happy to see it is Friday and know that I can get some rest tomorrow and Sunday.

Some week…huh? The outfit you see below I wore yesterday. I had every intention of putting on makeup… never happened. I do regret that I wore leggings as it was the coldest day of the season thus far… even with tights under the leggings… I felt naked. So do you think this is TMI for my blog? Would you prefer I only talk shoes, makeup, & clothes? Have you had any health issues lately? If so, how are you dealing? Hasta la proxima ~besitos~

Hola Divas…
Today I loved my outfit… I know I say that a lot but this outfit was special. My boss (Pecana) has found a renewed love for fashion. Her style isn’t exactly like mine because she like comfort over glamour… that is fine. Each individual deserves to find the fashion that makes them happy. In her search for a makeup artist she found a YouTube blogger that is not only great at makeup but fashionable on a budget. In one of her YouTube videos she shoes you how to make a fringe scarf (like the one you see me wearing below) from an old t-shirt. My boss and I both tried it. I did my in gray and my boss’ is in navy. Once it was complete I knew exactly how I would wear it, and then I added my cobalt skirt for a pop of color. Again… I really love how this outfit turned out.

Today was a rollercoaster… my part-time job is kicking my butt and I am just trying to maintain my finances at the same time trying to reign in a rebelling 15 year old teenage boy. Each day he tests my love and patience and to be honest… I don’t know how much more I can take before I snap, pack a bag, and runaway to join the circus (hey… at least I could wear sequins everyday and hang upside down from the rafters). Anyway… I know with prayer and positive re-enforcement he will get back on the right path (I hope and pray he does) it just hard to see the light through all the clouds… ya know?

DOTD: Just A Hint… of Purple

Hola Divas…
Last night I decided it would be best if I figured out what I wanted to wear rather then scramble in the morning and make poor decisions. I guess I now need to remind myself to also include shoes in my outfit choice because this morning I just could not make a decision. I tried and tried and all my black shoes looked the same. I finally had to rely on my daughter, Yaz, to help me pick a shoe to complete my look. I mean can you just imagine me standing over my shoes with a dazed look on my face… yeah… you can imagine it… can’t you?!

Today was almost a #fail because for most of the day I only had on half of my makeup and I forgot my ring so you couldn’t see the purple I tried to incorporate… but now the look is complete in the photos. I put on my makeup during my lunch and I added the ring when I came home to take the photos. If you’re wondering why I even added the purple at all… it’s because so many of us divas wear red/white/black… I felt like adding the purple would kick it up a notch. I really like this skirt… it really made me feel all sucked in… I also have it in black and can’t wait to wear that one soon with a review item I recently received for the holiday season.

Well… I have to get to my part-time… so I guess I have to end it here… What did you wear today? Do you sometimes feel like you are constantly repeating the same looks? I do… What do you do to spruce yourself up to the next level?

Ever have an idea that you can see clearly in your head… and then when you actually put it together… it doesn’t quite come together. I wore this outfit and although it’s not TERRIBLE in pictures… I’m just not happy with it. I really wanted the tights to be darker but I didn’t have any dark gray/charcoal tights. I also had these tights and wanted to wear them but never could seem to find the outfit to wear them with. Well, I think I should have waited a little longer. lol

Well, I’m exhausted as I’ve just walked in from my part-time. So I will bid you a good night and ask…. When was your last “execution #fail”? What were you wearing and what do you wish you could change about it?

DOTD: Strangers Don’t Choose My Fashion

Hola Divas:
I dress for me… I say this as a prelude to a bit of a rant. Yes, I am plus sized. Yes, I have thick thighs and a chubby middle and humungous boobs. But I am me and how I dress is a choice I make for myself everyday. I don’t dress for anyone else other than Yoli. I don’t care if you eyeball me and give me nasty looks because that is you feeling badly about yourself. Don’t hate me because I love my reflection and who I am from head to toe. Women in 2011/2012 need to do better. Seriously, if someone is better dressed than you, you do NOT have permission to then stare and give said person the “stomach virus face”. If I run across someone who is better dressed than myself (yes… it does happen) I usually go out of my way to let them know I like their outfit, shoes, hair or whatever. Why? Because my mama raised me right… Today I wore a mini-skirt (I had originally planned to wear this outfit yesterday but I seriously didn’t get out of bed until like 4pm) and I got so much hate while perusing my local Dutch Amish Market. Especially when one of the women was old enough to be my Grandmother. I seriously wanted to walk over to her and say “Bish, you know better!!!” but I didn’t. My hubby was like a kid in a candy store (literally) because they had so much great food and sweets available. I think he is going to “catch the ‘betes” (diabetes) after he eats all the goodies we bought.

Anyway… I had plans to record a video for Thanksgiving and that never happened. I ate too much and really don’t care. And now I’m just trying to do my best to enjoy these days off. DOTD: Purple is STILL my BIACH!!!

Hola Divas…
I love purple… I’m sure that is not surprise to anyone who has visited my blog more than once. So yesterday I wore an outfit that I had worn for only a few hours earlier in the week. When I wore it earlier, I didn’t have an opportunity to blog it nor did anyone see me in it. So I decided to wear it Friday to work so that I could truly enjoy wearing it. I did tweak the outfit a bit for Friday’s reveal by wearing my new (FREE) snakeskin shoedazzle wedges. I earned these shoes from my readers purchases and my own purchases. These shoes are CRAZY HIGH… but super sexy. I love them so so much (even if I did almost break my neck on multiple occasions yesterday).

I love these purple jeans and they are probably my favorite purchase of my adult life. I really want to purchase another pair because I know these pair won’t last forever. I just don’t know where to begin to look. *le sigh*
