Arthurian legend states that Merlin ordered the rocks be removed from Ireland. These large stones were holy and had the power to heal. They were directly descended from African giants. The religion of Voodoo calls their god, Bondye; he is all-powerful and all knowing.

The contact between Bondye and the individual who practices Voodoo is vital. If an individual wants to change jobs, they will contact Bondye for his decision and through the signs he sends to the individual, they will either change jobs or stay with the current one.

The Voodoo religion allows for the presence of spirits that maintain contact with the living. Iwa is a spiritual mass comprised of the departed family members. Their purpose is to advice, warn, and interact with the loved ones still residing in the physical world. If a loved one chooses to ignore a departed spirit, this is a dangerous action. Honoring the spirit of the departed is a deeply followed ritual in the Voodoo religion. The twins are another spiritual force in Voodoo and it is compromised of the forces between good and evil. Voodoo allows for the presence of priests and priestesses. The individual will surrender their physical body to the spirit of Iwa. Depending on the mood of Iwa, the service will have a good message or an evil one. An animal is sacrificed during a Voodoo service. This is done to replenish the spirit of Iwa. The animal’s spiritual energy feeds Iwa’s spirit and energizes him.

Voodoo is also practiced in solitary. The voodoo doll is a symbolic version of a person that will have a curse cast upon them. The priest has the power to cancel the curse and will use potions, herbs, or rituals to rid the individual of the curse. The priestess/priest has the power to predict future signs for an individual through the use of chicken entrails, feathers, or blood. The predictions are a direct message from Bondye and once he has cast his decision it will not be changed.

Contemporary Voodoo has been influenced by the Catholic religion. Rituals now use the rosary, crucifix and other icons of the Christian religion. When the missionaries tried to convert the practice of Voodoo to Catholicism the result was a melding of the two religions instead of a choice between the two.

Talking to the dead is not a new notion. Ancient civilizations have hieroglyphics depicting communication with a deceased loved one. Talking to the dead is a way of communicating from the physical world to the spirit world. In its simplest terms talking to the dead is exactly what it states.

The spirit asks questions requiring an answer from the loved one. They do this to convince the loved one of their validity. Druids are priests or priestesses. Most Druids were Celtic and believed in many deities. Druids practiced a pagan religion and believed most of their spiritual power came from nature. They gathered in the dense foliage and woods to gain strength and honor their gods. Druids passed along their knowledge orally and as a result mostly non-druids have documented their religion.

Julius Caesar and Irish writings claim the Druids to be associated with worshipping the devil. While no known other documentation has been directly linked with Druidism and devil worship, the stigma remains associated with the Druid people. The hierarchic of the druids was that the priests ruled the community. They were the leaders and ranked as the highest members of Druid society.

Their theology was that the afterlife exists and is carried out without judgment. The Druids were comprised of territorial tribes. The Druid tribes worked within the boundaries of their land and all members participated. The makeup of the druid hierarchy was a type of pre-serfdom where the priest/priestess reigned over the rest of the community. In the druid society a tribal chief held a high rank of power similar to the judicial branch of the democratic system.

Annually the tribal chief would conduct legal proceedings governing land disputes, cattle ownership or other pertinent actions needed to ensure the success of civil matters. The tribal chief and the Druid priest/priestess level of power did not overlap, but instead, compliment the success of the community.

The Druids were energetic in their festivals and holiday worships.

Druid rituals and ceremonies have their impact on some contemporary pagan practices. Wicca honors some of the festivals and rituals that are clearly Druid in origin. Holiday rituals such as Beltane, this is a springtime festival celebrating the fertility of all life. Samhain is the celebration of a bountiful harvest and impending winter and Imbolc the celebration of spring’s arrival. The Druid practice of placing gifts under an evergreen tree to honor Woden led to the current practice of the modern day Christmas tree.

Non-druids have documented druid culture. The archeological evidence from sites such as Stonehenge among others shows that the Druid culture was a tightly knit society of small territorial tribes with a pre-democratic influence. While the Druids were known to sacrifice animals as well as humans, they continued to maintain a highly spiritual belief in the afterlife.

The Druid influence has maintained a resurgence of new followers. The love of nature, home and hearth, and a closely-knit unity with their fellow man have tapped into a current trend. A critical component of modern day druids is that some sects believe in only one god. They subscribe to the standard that spiritual energy is all consuming; the vital source of that energy is thought the sole power of a single deity. The traditional pagan worship of multiple gods is also a common belief among contemporary Druids.

The unifying factor between the single God Druid and the multiple God Druid is that both maintain the individuals spiritual journey and the path chosen is minor to the journeys end.

Qi Gong is a Chinese method of promoting overall health between the mind, body and spirit. Qi Gong achieves this by tackling all three components with its program. Physical movements of the body, proper diet, calming the mind with meditation and a concentrated effort that unites them.

The physical programs recommended in Qi Gong are Tai Chi or Kung Fu. Tai Chi is a slow rhythmic moving of the body that uses excellent posture and breathing to lower stress, reduce high blood pressure and create positive energy.

Tai Chi is not as physically demanding as Kung Fu so it is an excellent choice for the elderly or otherwise physically impaired. Kung Fu is a high-energy physical workout, but it also includes much mental discipline. Kung Fu provides the same benefits as Tai Chi, lowers stress, reduces high blood pressure and creates a general overall positive energy through out the body.

The mind exercises used in Qi Gong are meditation. Meditation is used for relaxation and centering the Chi. Chi is energy force that is all consuming. The individual need only tap into its source. Meditation is a way to become receptive to Chi’s forces. Meditation revitalizes the spirit, which then promotes a clearer mind and healthier body. The efforts of Chi and Tai Chi or Kung Fu then combine in the individual for optimal balance.

The third component of Qi Gong is proper diet. This includes not only the food eaten but also the environment in which it is consumed. Meals should be looked at as ceremonial. The conscious effort of chewing and swallowing should be acknowledged. According to the thinking of Qi Gong the typical fast food lunch is harmful to the spirit. Because the spirit is not aligned, the body does not have the proper mechanism to digest and process the fast food lunch.

The result of this type of improper diet is high blood pressure, heart disease and obesity. Qi Gong promotes a healthy diet of fresh foods if possible, but when fresh foods are not available, and the alternative is a fast food lunch the individual should honor the process of proper Qi Gong eating. Eat in a relaxed setting, clam the mind, and let the spirit become settled before eating. The body will then be able to properly process the meal.

Qi Gong may be practiced in degrees. The simple morning ritual of stretching, breathing and welcoming the day is an example of Qi Gong. The energetic youth who meditates hours a day, rigorously studies the art of Kung Fu and eats only live foods is also a practitioner of Qi Gong. The degree of practice is an individual one. Qi Gong does not require a membership to a gym or special clothing. It does not expect the individual to overtax their mental capacity by adhering to a strict program beyond their physical capabilities.

What Qi Gong does do is allow for the individual to unite their body, spirit and mind at their own level and their own pace.

Sixth sense is a sense apart from the first fives senses of smell, taste, touch, sight, sound. The sixth sense gathers information without a connection to any of these other five senses. The sixth sense is also referred to as intuition, extrasensory perception or all of the psychic communications (clairvoyance, premonition, psychometry). The sixth sense is present in most individuals, but some are more attuned than others.

When knowledge is received and the other five senses are ruled out as a means of communicating that knowledge, the sixth sense is credited. For example, a woman is holding a bouquet of flowers. She can feel the petals between her fingers, she smells the odor of the flowers with her olfactory sense, she rustles the leaves of the flowers and can hear the noise made between the leaves and she sees that they are beautiful red roses.

A mother senses that her child has been injured at the exact moment the child has fallen off their bike into oncoming traffic. The mother may actually see the event occurring as if it were played across a movie screen in front of her. This phenomenon cannot be explained by any of the five senses. The woman somehow gained knowledge that their child was in danger by the use of another sense, labeled the sixth sense.

All that is needed is to plug into the source. Ways to do this are increased concentration and faith. The individual needs to remove all distractions and go to a relaxed setting. Eventually, they will be able to smell, touch, see and hear things that are not there in the physical realm, but are very real in the spiritual realm. A deceased loved one might have used a signature fragrance or smoked a certain type of cigar. The individual may detect the odor of these and actually smell the fragrance. This is not imagined. This is the sixth sense tapping into the spirit world and the deceased is communicating with them. They are letting them know they are present.

Clairsentience is the ability of an individual to receive psychic messages from a personal object or through touching someone. Clairsentience is also referred to as psychometry. In Clairsentience all five senses may be used to gather information about the individual.

Clairsentience is not the ability to know something with out physically touching an object. This is what defines Clairsentience. It is limited to the Clairsentient touching the object of the person they wish to receive information about.

A person has an energy field and when they routinely come into contact with an object, for example a watch that they wear everyday, their spiritual energy is transferred to that object. The Clairsentience will be able to pick up on detailed spiritual information about the person that is stored around the watch.

Clairsentience is commonly used in crime or missing person cases. If a case is stalled, an investigator will contact a Clairsentient to get tips on where to focus the investigation. They will bring an object from the victim without telling the Clairsentient any details of the crime. The details are not textbook in that the messages received will be sporadic. If the Clairsentient is holding a shoe from the victim, she may get the impression of cold. That tells the Clairsentient that the victim’s spiritual energy is cold which means they have departed the physical world and now reside in the spiritual realm.

The Clairsentient will actually have the physical sensation of cold; the object will feel cold while she holds it. She may get a vision of detail of what happened to the victim that floats across her sight like a movie. She sees the victim getting into a red car with a man. She will be able to describe the physical characteristics of this man. She may receive his name or his initials. She will be able to relate the odors in the car, because she is actually reliving the event and can smell them.

She smells the odor of alcohol and motor oil. This is a crucial clue as the man works as an auto mechanic. She will then follow the woman during the car ride and experience what the woman experienced. She feels an ache in the back of her neck. Later it will be found out that the man shot the woman in the back of the head.

The Clairsentient sees a deep ravine next to a petroleum processing plant and sees the victim lying face down in the snow. These are specific details that the investigator can use to focus his investigation. The Clairsentient will not solve the crime, but she was able to prove enough hard clues for the detective to follow up. The contact with the victim through their personal object is grueling for the Clairsentient. When the session is over, she will be physically and emotionally exhausted because she relived what the victim lived.

The same type of information can be received by physically touching someone. Brushing the coat sleeve of a person in line can start a whole line of information for the Clairsentient. That is why it is important for the Clairsentient to be able to turn off the transfer, but this is not always easy.
